Disappointing Experience Despite Friendly Staff I’ve given this place multiple chances, but unfortunately, it keeps letting me down. While the staff are always welcoming and friendly, the food quality just isn’t up to par. The last three visits have involved long waits, and they never seem to have the full menu available—especially when it comes to desserts, which is frustrating. My most recent visit was at Christmas, and not only was it incredibly expensive, but the food was also awful. Definitely not worth the price. It’s a shame because the atmosphere and service are good, but the inconsistency and poor menu availability mean I won’t be rushing back.

Fui a tomar el té de la tarde con mi hermana. No podía fallar. Presentación, El servicio y el personal fueron excelentes. El té de la tarde estaba delicioso. Tuvimos un Prosecco con él que era agradable. Lo recomiendo.

The wrap is OK , same as I remember from a few years back. Pork is nice :) But the tub of roast potatoes were kind of gross! It's a bit overpriced and underwhelming.

Hard working polite staff but food was prettY awful. Had venison pie which I couldn’t finish. Red cabbage was disgusting. Due to the slow queue chips and cabbage were cold by time I sat down. Didn’t have a drink. Cakes looked unappetising.

We visited today during an impromptu road trip to Southport. The food and service was great and brought back memories of when I used to visit with my grandparents when they lived locally! The cafe was very clean and I couldn’t fault it at all. Live music outside was a bonus!

I visit this costa most days. Ruth and her team are all friendly and helpful in particular Kate who is kind and patient. She is lovely to all of the young children who come into the store. My grandson loves her.

Interesting and mixed feedback. Service can be slow buts it’s a self service cafe. Marie does however make the best coffee in Pendle so congrats Marie

I have visited this chippy for years in the past and recently gave it a try again since it has been taken over by a new owner. Big mistake. It's just a shell of what it was. No pork sausages, so I had to get a rubbery fish and the chips were dry. I noticed on the way our that it is now a Halal establishment so that's probably why I couldn't get sausage. Won't be back

Poor choice of food and very expensive. £8:50 for a cheeseburger chips £3:95. Also not the best quality. If travelling on the steam railway probably better to plan ahead and bring a picnic.

I chose the 8 item breakfast for £7, and selected my ingredients from an electronic ordering display. The food was OK, except the fried bread was over-cooked, and difficult to cut up and eat. Other items freshly cooked and tasty. Recommended.

st time using today, food portions were OK for a child, chips were definitely not fresh (frozen) liver was rubbery, fish was gooey, £38.85 for food for 4 people disgusting £1.20 per carton of apple juice although they are from a supermarket in a 6 pack which cost £1.69 absolutely disgraceful it says not to be sold seperatly, staff members well I've seen happier tortoises stood there staring whilst we ate would not recommend at all food not fit for a dog

Rude and impatient staff. Glasses and bottles left on tables downstairs. Empty upstairs. Will not return.
