Emma was great and made sure we had a great time, recommended to our friends and family. The service was fast and food was hot.

Sadly it wasnt great. We went for late lunch, around 2pm. I paid for a "small carvery" and literally got a small " camping" plate!. I went up to the carvery and must have waited around TEN minutes and no-one appeared to serve me. I went to ask at the bar and was told "Oh, I will get them to come out"!!! Surely they should've been waiting for people. I got one piece of very dry turkey, veg, gravy but NO potatoes! There were no roast potatoes. I asked and was told " Oh I will check with the chef". I stood there with a plate full of food going cold (who has a cavery without roast potatoes!) for at least five minutes to be told "Oh its going to be 5/6 minutes!. He then said he would bring them over to me at my table! What is the point to that, as obviously my food would have been cold by then. I ate my food and my potatoes came once I had finished my meal. Absolute shambles. Very young and uninterested staff. We eat out a lot and we went there as my mum used to go there for special occassions in the past. I wanted to check it out. We will not be frequenting the place again. To be fair Alex (no idea who he was but presumably the manager) asked my partner whilst I was in the toilet if we could give a "review" of him and his "customer service". Whilst he was very polite and served us well, his staff definately need some extra training. The carvery food was dry, sparse and obviously at 2pm they couldnt be bothered. I write very fair reviews, and if its good I will say so, but this was very lacking. Sorry but the "Farmers Arms" need to up their game. Not acceptable.

Never again dried up beef and ham Yorkshire puddings were greasy couldn't even cut them, veg that was tasteless mush hadn't been seasoned table wasn't very clean and neither were the glasses. First time my sister went as I told her how good it was before it was embarrassing. Do not waste your money!

We had a carvery and it was horrible, there was 2 veg options, dry meat, lumpy mash and no ice. The best thing about it was the song they put on and leaving. Won’t be going back

On entering the premises we were met by a female member of staff who seemed quite put out we had arrived. Have you booked a table she said. No we would just like a drink. Oh well you will have to sit at the bar not a table. We were served by very miserable staff who looked like they would rather be somewhere else.

We had lunch at Anna's with friends of ours , the speed of service was very good , our food arrived quickly , and was very tasty ... The pizza's were lovely , and the tapas dishes good too.... although it was a Saturday afternoon and full , the staff were very attentive without being overly fussy .... One thing we did notice was the fact that if you just walked in off the street hoping for food you would be disappointed....you must book a table. All in all Anna's was very nice and we would definitely go again....

Dissapointed, the beans were mainly bean juice and tiny portions. Expensive.

Ordered poached eggs on toast and only ate the toast. I know its not easy to get poached eggs right but these were like rubber. I had to literally cut them with the knife when you should be able to gently press the knife through. Food took so long to come out that my pot of tea went cold too. Sorry Tesco, won't be back.

Beautiful breakfast room with excellent and friendly service by Ramirez and Gio ... all'italiana. English breakfast at its best.

Wowza. About 25 -30 of us for a leavers party. Food was incredible. Lota of it, lots of variety, catered for all requirements and i had the vegan afternoon tea. It waa3 delicious! Couldn't eat it all, there was so much. Lovely service price and venue! Definitely recommend!

Horrible customer service won’t be back. myself and a friend had went to siloth for a ice cream to find the shop was shut so we came here instead and it was a wasted journey, went in and the place is dated, went over the the ice cream section and the selection wasn’t that great.. the old man behind the counter had an attitude problem and seemed rude to both of us, when my friend asked for sauce and sprinkles he handed her a pot with sprinkles and sauce separate for her to put on her self, I'm surprised he didn’t ask her to get behind the counter and put the ice cream in the cone her self. Then we had both got back to the car and put the sprinkles and sauce on we started to eat them. The ice cream was flavourless and the cones were soft and weren’t very enjoyable.

We booked for my birthday and thought we would have a nice tea and it was truly awful! Weak and cheap coffee, dry cakes and small sandwiches!!! So awful 😞 the bar manager was lovely and gave us a 100% discount… will not return 🤮🤢

Absolutely wonderful staff and food. Lovely ambience and dining experience. Stayed in the hotel and had dinner at the brasserie. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. Excellent communication skills. The food was gorgeous.

Rooms are shabby ,in need of decorating, the bathrooms are very poor with cracked and dirty tile grout. The bed linen is and quilts are worn and thin. Very disappointed.
