Such a great addition to Prestwich Village! The new Hideout Bar is a must to visit- a beautiful and brilliant space that lends itself so well for lunches to evening drinks. Stephen and the team are always so welcoming and always work hard to ensure you enjoy your visit.

Such a weird Chinese this one, ordered chicken in OK sauce. Got chicken in a sort of sweet n sour sauce with boozy tasting (off) pineapple and CUCUMBER 👀 who puts cucumber in a hot dish??? Nah…..that’s criminal that! Ordered it with fried rice and it had spring onions in it…….never seen spring onions in fried rice before, absolutely rotten, spent a good 20 minutes picking them out. Also, asked for a little hoi sin for my dumplings. He charged me and served me a MASSIVE TUB of, what was not, hoi sin….it was, yet again, sweet n sour sauce. I felt robbed. Waited a whopping 25 minutes for, what can only be described as, below average and unusual Chinese food…..it’s like they ran out of ingredients and bulked everything with spring onion and bulk ordered sweet n sour or they simply forgot how to Chinese. Chips, rice and gravy was good (apart from spring onions in the rice) but definitely the worst Chinese I’ve been to in a long time. Spent £20 and no free prawn crackers, even asked and he said no and couldn’t pay on card as they were less that £5. Terrible behaviour I’d say 🤷🏼‍♀️

We came to Sterling for cocktails with our friends. We came after reading all the positive reviews online, and the cocktails did not disappoint! It is a large cocktail bar tucked away in the basement of one of the buildings in the city centre - the service was great with us being seated within 5 minutes. The old fashion cocktail it was perfectly balanced- with great tasting whiskey. I would recommend this to anyone wanting quality cocktails in Manchester city northern quarter.

Love this place and been going in here for years seeing as it's right next door to the home of the mighty Everton FC, will really miss pubs like this around Goodison when the club move next season 😪

Recently visited on my first day in town while on holiday from the U.S. I cannot say enough about the 14 hour braised beef and ale pie, I almost wept when I took my first bite.

I had a great lunch today at the Harington with my grandsons. The food was delicious! The lovely young waitress Maddie was fantastic she looked after us well and was great with the children. I will definitely come back!
