Can't fault the food, it was good. It was not piping hot on arrival, but just right on temperature and portions just right. Delivery man polite and no messing, a pleasant delivery.

Called here again tonight on way back from Bradford. I ordered homemade Cheese and onion pie, with chips and beans. Husband ordered Rag pudding Chips and Irish Curry and carton of peas. Wow food as usual was top quality, tasty and plenty of it. We live in Salford and try to get over to this chip shop when we can. Because nowhere round our area knows how to make food like Shaun Chippy. They get constantly good reviews for a reason. So thank you Shaun and the team, we won't leave it so long before our next visit.

Just had the new double smash burger and it was excellent to say the least, the meat was cooked perfectly, it came with all the trimmings on and a side of freshly made chips, very tasty would definitely recommend, great value for money!

Finding a decent chippy in this area was impossible until I came across this chippy. I'd never heard of Irish curry before and let me tell you it's beautiful. I was allowed to try the different Currys on offer so went with the one I liked. Ended up having fish chips and Irish curry. Have to say it was absolutely gorgeous. Staff were very welcoming and I will be returning every time Im in the area. Highly recommend

Placed an order at 17.45 and delivery time kept changing and changing with the last update saying delivered at 19.50 when the shop shut at 19.15

This is simply the BEST chippy in the North West, bar none! The food is delicious and the staff are great. Expect a bit of a queue because everyone goes back again and again.

This place has been amazing, last 2 orders really poor soggy anaemic chips. Thought it was just a one off, obviously not.

When opened in Shawclough. They tried. Now smaller portions for price. Oulder staff rude. Heard lots people say same. Think us lile many will have a break from here now.

What a friendly guy, great food. You can even buy a cake or an ice-cream for after your meal. Prefers cash but you can pay by card. Great local chippy.

Absolutely brilliant! The fish is massive and very fairly priced. It comes in a big box with tons of chips. Great, friendly customer service and a great range of pies, desserts, etc. Very impressed!

Not actually your fault it was just too cold when arrived, heated what I could but just didn’t taste nice so gave it to our cats but if it’s any consolation they enjoyed the sausage and nuggets. Not your fault or the drivers I think just way too much traffic on the road, the driver did apologise for the long delay. Didn’t really want to give that review rating at all sorry guys.

nornally love this chippy but today was abit disappointing today, No cheese on my chips, cheese and beans. the pie was cold and onions weren't cooked on the hotdog

The battered sausages were burnt and un edible. Fish was soggy and the chips were cold and awful. Will not be using again

Visited here last week for the first time having been recommended it by my builders - absolutely fantastic chippy, really clean, good menu, nice staff whom were accommodating of my large order, welcoming environment and the food was bang on. I'm gutted I missed out on the home made cheese and onion pie as it had sold out and I've heard it's really good - but it gives me an excuse to visit again sooner rather than later :-) They do extra things such as desserts too, top chippy.

It wasn't delivered ! Had to go to the chippy myself and pick it up ! So actually paid for delivery that didn't happen

Hi I ordered 2 steak and kidney puddings and received just 1 steak pie.

A really good English chippy. Food was spot on (chips cheese and onion pipe with curry) and very friendly staff fast service and quality ingredients used.

First time ordering from here. Delivery was on time and food was hot. All food was lovely, if a little expensive for the portion sizes. Would still order again.

Chips and gravy were ok but the chicken burger tasted really cheap and chewy and the loaded fries were disgusting. Sausage didn’t taste good either! Black pudding fritter was lovely though! Just gutted that Iv binned £20 worth of food

Food is fantastic but I’ve been let down a few times with pre orders on Uber Eats. Scheduled deliver only for these orders to be cancelled by Shaun’s without any explanation. Tried to contact the shop direct and no response. I’m going to find a more reliable chippy…….shame.

Hard one with this as never ever had a problem before, ordered and delivery was ontime 6:27pm but sadly wrong order given, driver was polite said he would have to deliver that order and be about 20mins, thought I might of got a call to apologise for the error no matter who was at fault but had to call myself at 6:53pm was told fresh batch made and order and driver just left on way and it arrived just a little after 7pm. Bit disappointed for the first time ever for here.

We sampled our first meal from Shaun's chippy this evening, and it was absolutely delicious. We had fish, chips and curry and homemade cheese and onion pie and chips. Would highly recommend and staff extremely friendly and helpful. Good price too, which is always a bonus 👍.

Very disappointed. We normally enjoy the fish and chips so not sure what happened with this order. The fish was very dry inside a not so nice batter. There seemed to be more batter than fish.

Summer meal is excellent!!!!!!!!!! Salad is fresh and contains lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, onion, celery all are chopped to bite size with pot of coleslaw to add. The fish is beautifully cooked and pot of tartar sauce and fresh lemon slices on salad. I will definitely be ordering frequently. A must try by all.

Received my order after second attempt, drivers are ridiculous for not delivering my first order!

Chippy was fantastic just eat ripped me off only part of my order went through so re ordered and got billed twice you can’t really cancel an order because they will bill you anyway TXXTS

Food was great, quick delivery and put the gravy into the tubs that I asked for on the notes so thank you. Just the chicken nuggets were a bit hard sadly but everything else was yummy 😋
