Mum and I go every week before or after shopping at asda. The place is clean, inviting and the volunteers are brilliant, nothing is to much, and the atmosphere is one of friendly community everyone speaks to each other wether you know each other or not. Only one thing we are upset about is panini no longer on menu.

There is something different about volunteers who run a cafe… they care and are so friendly. This is the first time visiting and the food was so nice. It was such a warm atmosphere and impeccably clean. My son had a fruit pot with him and I asked if he was ok to eat it in there and the lady was so lovely with us and agreed it was fine. Nothing was too much. The food came out quick and the breakfast was lovely. It’s the kind of place where you can also meet people for a chat which I loved. My kids want to go back again and so we will. Thank you

Tasteless cheese and tomato toastie

I can't praise this place enough I go in a few times a week and I've had the afternoon tea on numerous occasions and wouldn't go anywhere else for afternoon tea the staff are friendly the cafe and toilets are lovely and clean and everything is cooked freshly my favourite place .

Lovely warm welcome from the front of house staff. Very tasty breakfast. The American pancakes were great. Fantastic hot chocolate and good quality coffee. Will we be back - you bet. Brilliant.

Descent sensible place for breakfast at a good price.

Moved to this area around 9 months now and took the opportunity finally both had time off work so decided this would be a good time to sample the breakfast 😀 went Thursday morning they open at 10am Greetings by all staff smiling happy faces , tables lovely as the seating English breakfast was delicious and well presented as was the China cups for our tea. There are toilets 🚻 disabled access and a ramp outside so not confirmed by myself, charity shop in same building, Not really a Downside as it fills up quickly as it doesn't have a massive are but don't let that put you off visiting. we were impressed with the quality and £ prices 👌 staff deserves a massive 👏 especially as they volunteer there services. Well done and we look forward to returning.

We had a lovely full English breakfast, eggs, bacon, sausage and beans and two pieces of lovely granary toast. To drink we had a latte, great value, lovely service. Would definitely recommend.

In spite of huge sign outside saying 'Carrs Pasties ' they didn't sell any .. sweet tea room though.. but don't go ten minutes before they close... They will serve you and then start cleaning around you ..

Fantastic cafe, we had the afternoon tea which was delicious. Excellent value and beautifully presented. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Cafe was spotlessly clean I've never been before but will definitely be going back.

The Old Bank Cafe (Bolton Hospice) What a lovely, homely place to have something to eat! Delicious chicken and stuffing barm with gravy, while the kid who is a teenager and can’t be ‘bovvered’ thoroughly enjoyed a hot cheese and ham toastie , with a latte with caramel! Result! Go to The Old Bank Cafe if you are meeting a family member or friend for a warm ambiance , cheerful staff and tasty coffee! Fabulous! Highly recommended!

This is a lovely little cafe. The ladies who work there are so welcoming to everyone. They make a great cup of tea and very tasty bacon barms. Will definitely go back to sample more of the lovely food on offer.

A very pleasant and clean little café. I enjoyed my tea and coffee, the cakes looked lovely although I resisted the temptation. The service is friendly and polite. Well worth a visit.

Only had a hot chocolate it wasn't the best but very clean

Lovely cafe! Run by very pleasant, helpful and polite volunteers. Reasonably priced. Good menu considering the size of the cafe. Tea served in proper tea cups, but you can have a mug if you prefer. Real butter with toasted tea cakes. Will definitely go back to try their home made apple pie and custard! Went back a few days later to treat my brother for his birthday. Again staff were lovely and food excellent! We also had desserts which were excellent. Cannot recommend this cafe highly enough.

This cafe is attached to a charity shop and is clean, inexpensive and has a good menu. The staff are great and there is a good opportunity to have a root through for bargains. Why not pop in when doing your Asda shop.

Great service, easy to order, nice food, nice touch on the spoons with Christmas themes. Loos in good condition. Easy menu good value

Friend volunteers here & while in the area thought I'd give it a try. Very reasonable prices, clean & friendly, you wouldn't know it was here. Give it a try, I'll be going back.

Went the Hospice charity shop not the cafe

A very clean and wonderful little cafe with a lot of eye catching features.

Came here with my mum and my grandma and the panini's were great and so was the chocolate fudge cake. The customer service were friendly and approachable. I'll be sure to come back sometime!

Awesome!!!! We think its fab, with lovely and very helpful staff. Maybe a vegan option (soya milk, flora butter, jacket potatoe/beans) I generally take my own milk and have a chutney with salad sandwich, no butter. Which is nice tbh.. love the cafe anyway and a bonus... great prices too!

Overly expensive. Following a response from owner I'd like to add that you are still a charity shop and to be honest comparing prices to four seasons isnt much of a comparison as their prices are astronomical. Please look to the wider area for prices and what's offered. Food was nice I must add

This a an excellent small cafe offering snacks and light meals for all - with a range of Gluten free snacks as well. The food and drinks are fresh and well cooked - a reasonable range of snacks both hot and cold with friendly staff who serve you with a smile. Take time to pay a visit and at the same time support a great cause !

We had the festive afternoon tea, it was wonderful. Service excellent, table and food set up really nicely and lovely to look at. All the food was fresh and delicious, great selection of different items both sweet and savoury. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Price was very reasonable for what was provided and all going to a good cause, Bolton Hospice. Would recommend this to anyone and we will definitely go back. Thanks everyone.

Called in here for coffee after visiting ASDA nearby. Took a 3 year old with us. The staff were really good giving her special attentio with her ice cream, which she loved. We had a snack on that occasion. Called back a couple of days later and had a lovely lunch.

We ordered an afternoon tea. Both of us disappointed. The scones and sandwiches tasted as if they had been left in the fridge beforehand and therefore not fresh. Good sized tea pot though. Lots of other meals.coming out that looked more appetising. Not a return visit for us.

A lovely place for a bite to eat and a drink after looking for a bargain in the shop. Completely run by volunteers for the benefit of Bolton Hospice a very worthwhile organisation. They have jobs for everyone who has some time to help and welcome donations. Car parking is free and if full Asda is just across the road.
