Luciano's at Middlebrook in Bolton

This is my favourite place to eat! I cannot recommend it highly enough! I usually go after the match and it really is the best restaurant ever. The staff are extremely friendly and the food is amazing. I would recommend the languni diavola which is just awesome...wash down with perroni or morreti..omg ! Make sure you try the Italian food it is very authentic and tasty! Bravo 👌👏

After a shopping trip around the retail park, we decided to go to Luciano’s for lunch before finishing off our shopping. It was extremely busy as we entered, but less than 5 minutes later we were seated. Our drinks order was taken shortly after we were seated, then our food order. I was a little surprised that a side portion of fries we had ordered was delivered almost immediately. They were hot and deliciously crispy. We had expected them to be delivered with our mains. Our main courses were absolutely divine. The Il Limone my wife’s favourite and my Salmon salad were as good as we expected them to be. As it was so busy and noisy, when we finished eating there were people queuing to be seated. We decided to forego deserts and pay at the counter. Allowing others to be seated more speedily. We love eating here and will return…

We had an amazing meal at Lucianos celebrating a family birthday. The staff were friendly and engaging, particularly with my children (7yo and 3yo). The food was fantastic and incredibly delicious!! There was no children’s menu but every dish was available as a half portion for the kids and they even made a plain tomato sauce pasta dish off menu for my youngest. Would recommend 100% and looking forward to our next visit !

Managed to get a very rare child free tea out together, so picked Luciano's as we love it there. Had the Casereecce Bolognese which is a new feature on the menu, oh my gosh, it was delicious! Would definitely recommend it and will certainly be having it again. We thought we would treat ourselves to a dessert too and on the new menu, they have sticky toffee pudding, served warm with vanilla ice-cream which was delicious. My partner stuck to his favourites off the menu meatballs starter and gnocci Norma which were as good as always. Fantastic service as always from Iolanda and the rest of the staff, Grazie

This was a delightful meal time. Unhurried and lightheartedness from all the staff. My friend and I were totally looked after and given space to chat.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed a lovely dinner - great service, a excellent choice of good food and a delicious dinner. The aubergine parmigiana was top notch!

The stake linguine was lovely but the carrot cake a bit of a let down, very dry even with the cream. Staff was lovely and friendly.

I feel you should know... I could write pages listing all the wonderful things about Luciano's at Middlebrook without scratching the surface..... The menu, the taste of the food, the atmosphere and the absolutely first class hospitality from the staff, all of whom made my wife and me feel so welcome....! One lovely lady in particular who helped us was so kind that she forgave my embarrassing, attempted "thank-you" in Italian. When we arrived just before noon and were offered a choice of either the Breakfast or Lunch menus... we were so spoiled for choice... We'll have to go back again very, very soon ! Pam and I have dined out 'quite a few' times over the last thirty+ years.. But... today wasn't only one of our most enjoyable dining experiences ever.... It truly was.... Perfect !!! A lazy relaxed lunch, fantastic food and service was fantastic. Great staff that actually take the time to chat and have banter with you. My king prawn starter and main of pasta and steak was outstanding.

visited Sunday 24 sept 2023 at 10.15 am I'm a romanian food lover..who miss european continental breakfast. the lady reminde me so much of european buzzing breakfast time. canoli fav desert of my wife she loved creps or tiramisu are my fav. we had breakfast .. i had panini with eggs, simplyy love it. Believe it or not, this was our 3rd visit since lockdown was initially relaxed. The first two visits were for a sandwich but today was for a full meal. Food was delicious and, as always, staff were so friendly. A little chilly today outside (they have no outside heaters) but we managed. Must go back soon and take advantage of being able to eat inside. The perfect 'pick me up' after shopping.

My wife & I enjoyed our first meals out since the start of lockdown 3. Visiting Middlebrook Retail Park, we decided to have breakfast & coffees, before shopping. After completing our retail therapy spree we called back for lunch.Both visits we were made to feel welcome. The food was delicious as always, the coffees were divine & the service was excellent as always.Eating outside in good weather is always a pleasant experience. Bad weather may not be so good. We were lucky as everything was great.

My Wife and I visited for lunch on Friday 24 April. The food and drink was lovely, just as you would expect here but.....We queued for a table, which we were then shown to and the waitress thoroughly cleaned this before we were allowed to sit down, excellent, thank you.Whilst we were waiting and eating other tables became free, the waiter made a very poor attempt to wipe the table, possibly managed a third of it! When another table became free he didn't even bother with cleaning that one, merely used a dirty serviette left by the previous customer! Sorry but this is an appalling lack of hygiene which absolutely cannot be tolerated.We were exceedingly disappointed as we did not expect to see this from such a prestigious establishment.

This place is fantastic. Went for lunch and had the Linguine Diavola which was outstanding. No rush to move us from the table and had a relaxing few hours. Can’t recommend highly enough. Food well above the standard of the mainstream restaurants surrounding it. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Finding out that Luciano’s had reopened the day before my wife’s Birthday was a bit of great news. We booked for 1pm and turned up a few minutes before. We ordered drinks, then our food. Everything was delicious, tasty and well presented. This is one of our favourite lunch time venues on a great retail park.

Whether it's a coffee and a cake, or a full meal, the quality of the food and the efficient & friendly service is always so good. It was coffee and cake for us yesterday and it was as good as ever. Staff just can't do enough. It feels very safe from a Covid-19 perspective. I so value the access we have to top-notch hospitality in Bolton and the surrounding area and it's so important that we support them at this difficult time.
