Went here for breakfast, the tables where dirty/sticky. The staff member who served me wasn't very pleasant, all stood vaping behind the bar. The food was diabolical, really grim. Wouldn't recommend.

Seemed nice and clean and welcoming inside. We had one cheese ploughman's roll and one turkey and stuffing roll. To drink, two cappuccinos and then a small chocolate shortbread. It came to £22. I was so shocked at the price that I queried it, which I wouldn't usually do. Turns out that the rolls cost around £7.50 each, even though the displayed price on them was around £4.65. I was told this was the eat in price. Shame that was not clearly displayed anywhere. I was actually told that it should have cost £24 but we had been given a discount on the shortbread. Nothing was provided with the prepackaged rolls, like a salad garnish. So, extremely expensive for a roll and coffee. The food was nice enough but I felt overcharged and annoyed that the "eat in" price was not clearly shown. Will make sure we don't visit any of their shops again. We eat out a lot and I have rarely felt so ripped off.

My husband, myself and our 13 year old son visited The Brasserie two days ago on a Saturday evening. We were able to walk from our cottage accomadation to the Brasserie. On arrival to the venue we were very impressed by the beautiful driveway leading down to the Brasserie. The whole establishment is obviously very well kept with beautiful spring flowers and plants and lovely lighting down the drive. On entering the Brasserie however, we were suprised that the decor didnt appear to match the rest of the hotel. We were approached by a friendly waiter on arrival who took our drinks and food order promptly. He checked we were all ok during the first half of our meal and we felt his interactions with us were appropriate, not too overpowering or disinterested. My husband ordered the mushroom stroganoff. He felt it was quite ordinary and bland. I ordered the brushetta and a side portion of fries. I felt the brushetta was overpriced but the fries were beautiful. My son ordered the pizza which he said was really tasty! During the meal.another member of staff( female) arrived and we have to say it was quite an experience! We had ordered a second round of drinks. I had ordere a lakes gin and a small bottle of fever tree ginger ale to mix it with. I was allowing my son to taste the ginger ale from the bottle. The waitress appeared out of nowhere and snatched the bottle from his hand with a resounding"no!" It shocked us all! We reassured her that this was not an alcoholuc drink. She then commented in quite a rude manner when my husband wiped his nose gently on a napkin and also told us later on during the meal that she was used to working in the " posh restaurant". During our meal she stood over us on several.occasions which we felt was inappropriate and a bit unnerving! We felt she would benefit from some more training from more experienced members of staff. We did realise she was young and and was probably trying to.please (.a little too much). We were very patient with her but felt there may be future guests who may not be quite so tolerant! A little later during the evening my husband and our son went to use the toilet closest to the Brasserie. They came back and both told me there was smashed glass on the floor and a dirty nappy. My husband reported this to a member of staff from the spa team. On leaving the Brasserie we walked through to the hotel reception as we were all so concerned about the state of the toilet and wanted to ensure it had been sorted and the message had got trough. The lady on hotel reception didnt appear to know anything about this but we did see her promptly speaking to another hotel member of staff after our conversation. The only other disappointing part to.our meal was the cheeseboard. It sounded fantastic on the Brasserie menu but when it arrived we were informed that some of the cheeses were not available. The waiter did however add a few extra for us but we felt this could have been mentioned before we went ahead with the order. Sadly it was a disappointing experience as it could be a fabulous setting within the grounds of an obviously gorgeous hotel.

I used to love it here, but my recent visit was disappointing. The manager was incredibly rude, which really put a damper on the experience. It’s clear that the standards have slipped – the place wasn’t as clean as it used to be, and the quality of the food and drinks has gone downhill. It’s a shame because it used to be a great spot. I hope they can turn things around

Servicio amable y buenas bebidas. Desafortunadamente, éramos las únicas personas allí y no había atmósfera. Buena selección de bebidas bien presentadas.

Having booked Afternoon Tea for my Dads 90th originally for 12, I asked if we could add 4 more to the booking and I was categorically told NO ! I asked if I could speak to the Manager & told to send in an email ?! This is whilst I was on the phone. I said if I cancel the whole booking are you ok with that and the receptionist said “if that is what you want to do” Obviously didn’t understand financial implications. I went online and there were plenty of tables to book. I did get a call back and had the 4 extra added to the booking. I wish is cancelled, the staff were rude, the outside tables had dirty crockery left there. The ashtrays were overflowing. I waited 15 mins for a drink whilst waiting for everyone to arrive. The ‘Afternoon Tea’ was a huge disappointment, stainless steel tea & coffee pots, with matching milk jugs that didn’t pot, you know the ones where the milk goes all over the table. As for them being speciality the only thing special was the cost as they were cheap Booker tea bags!! The sandwiches left a lot to be desired- chicken Caesar was Bookee ready made compressed chicken in mayo, the cheese finger had pickle on both sides of bread & had gone soggy, a tiny pork pie which was placed with the cakes. I sent 2 emails of complaint with no reply to either.

I recently had dinner at the Bull and Dog in Burscough with friends, and it was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with the cozy pub vibe that makes you feel right at home. We started with a mix of appetizers like the crispy king prawns and calamari, both perfectly seasoned and a great start to the meal. For mains, I went with the classic steak and ale pie, which was hearty and delicious, while my friends tried the fish and chips and the Louisiana burger. Everyone was impressed with the taste of the food and the portion sizes. To finish off, we treated ourselves to the sticky toffee pudding and Biscoff sundae. Each dessert was indulgent and the perfect way to wrap up our evening. The friendly staff were attentive and made sure our night went smoothly. It’s a great spot to relax with friends, enjoy good food, and soak in a genuine pub atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone in the area looking for a memorable meal!

This was one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to. The cheese pie tasteless and it was something to be desired. It was mushy and the pastry was rockhard and strange looking .Burgers tasted fishy. Suffice to say I was ill after it so I’m not tempted to order food there again.one positive note is that the cakes are okay.

Booked a table for the breakfast sharing board for two people for this morning. Have to say it was amazing and fantastic value, however today the service let us down. We weren't asked if we wanted drinks, so I asked and was told tea/coffee wasn't included, which was fair enough, so we ordered 2 coffees, the food came and after checking online I saw it included orange juice, so had to ask for that. Great choice of food and such a lovely pub. Have been many times for afternoon tea and always received a nice welcome. I have knocked a star off today for service. We finished our food but the staff serving were sat eating breakfast, so we waited a while and no one came, so had to disturb the staff to ask them if they could box the food we hadn't managed to eat up, not a problem. Staff are lovely, however we shouldn't have to feel we are disturbing them when we need to leave.

Been visiting cleveleys everytime we come here, we have tried many places to sit an eat from small snacks to meals, and have moaned about many places therefore we decided the next time we visit we will try somewhere new and Vincent's happened to be that place. Wow what can I say, I'm so glad we choose to come here. The staff were so friendly, they greeted you with a smile, nice and polite dont get that in most places. They made you feel at home, could have a chat with them about anything really friendly staff. The food we ordered were quite alot as there were 5 of us, so meals ranged from toaties, full english breakfast, poached eggs on toast, chucky steak pie with chips an gravy, sausage an bacon barm, then drinks. The staff cooked to our liking so they adapted to what the customer wants which is always a bonus. Food was lovely no complaints, we will certainly be back next time we visit an we certainly recommend this place to anyone that's never been here. Oh before I go, i have seen another comment on here stating there were rude staff etc, my opinion on this is it sounds like a competitor trying to leave bad feedback in order for them to try an boost their own business by giving someone else a bad name, well I have to say I had a great laugh and chat with the lady in purple hair and the lady with a bun. I have to say that the management here must be pleased to know that they have such wonderful staff. The staff are a credit to your business May this continue and we look forward to seening you again soon. Thank you once again to you all cant wait for our next visit.

I love going to any Costa Coffee, and the one in Congleton is great if you go into the shop. However ordering from this shop on Uber Eats is often terrible. I've had the wrong drink made and sent, items missing from my order and then today when my drink arrived, the cup was only half full. It wasn't even a regular in a large cup, the drink was regular, the cup was regular but half of it was missing. So if you do choose to use this store, don't be busy and use Uber to pick your order up as there will no doubt be a problem.
