Been visiting cleveleys everytime we come here, we have tried many places to sit an eat from small snacks to meals, and have moaned about many places therefore we decided the next time we visit we will try somewhere new and Vincent's happened to be that place. Wow what can I say, I'm so glad we choose to come here. The staff were so friendly, they greeted you with a smile, nice and polite dont get that in most places. They made you feel at home, could have a chat with them about anything really friendly staff. The food we ordered were quite alot as there were 5 of us, so meals ranged from toaties, full english breakfast, poached eggs on toast, chucky steak pie with chips an gravy, sausage an bacon barm, then drinks. The staff cooked to our liking so they adapted to what the customer wants which is always a bonus. Food was lovely no complaints, we will certainly be back next time we visit an we certainly recommend this place to anyone that's never been here. Oh before I go, i have seen another comment on here stating there were rude staff etc, my opinion on this is it sounds like a competitor trying to leave bad feedback in order for them to try an boost their own business by giving someone else a bad name, well I have to say I had a great laugh and chat with the lady in purple hair and the lady with a bun. I have to say that the management here must be pleased to know that they have such wonderful staff. The staff are a credit to your business May this continue and we look forward to seening you again soon. Thank you once again to you all cant wait for our next visit.

On my annual family visit to Blackpool we as a family decided to take a trip to Cleveleys. We decided to have a late lunch at this cafe as we had heard good reviews. On arrival if was fairly quite as it was after 3pm, we sat down with my 5yr old daughter who wanted beans on toast.. we ordered without a problem then awaiting our meals the place erupted into a scene from "RAMSEY'S HELLS KITCHEN". The vile waitress with Purple hair and the disgusting one with the Bun were shouting and swearing repeatedly at the lady(s) who was cooking our meals in the kitchen. The poor lady asked these vile creatures what there problem was to which resulted in more foul and disgusting language from the waitress with the bun, causing the young lady to run off crying. We was sat watching in dis-belief, can not believe this kind of stuff still happens, these horrible creatures much be dealt with. My lunch, even tho the food was cooked under pressure from the abuse she recieved was very good, we unfortuantly did not enjoy and will not be returning. Please sort out your issues.....

We sat outside so don’t know what it’s like inside. Staff were very friendly and the food was good. My wife had a cheese melt which had lots of cheese. If sitting outside beware the seagulls!!

Visited this cafe today. To be told don't sit outside the seagulls will pinch your food and we won't replace it. We ordered food with a waitress with a terrible attitude. Food served with a big hair in it. Made a complaint she then popped her head out to ask do you want it taking off your bill or more food? Well thinking that a family sat down eating together you would want the good and at the very least offer a refund for that meal. Other staff all very pleasant just the one to let them down. Would not recommend at all try the pound bakery over the road.

Went for a breastfast today with family, firstly the service was horrendous the waitress who took the order started to add drinks on to the order which weren’t mentioned, when the food arrived there was a hair on one of the plates when we politely asked could this be exchanged the waitress replied with attitude towards us, this has left our experience of Vicents with a bad taste in our mouth and would highly recommended trying another cafe on the street

We called in at lunchtime today as my husband was hungry. I asked for scrambled eggs with no toast and did they have any spinach, well I could have been asking for an elusive pot of gold! The look I got was unbelievable; one for not wanting toast but then the lady repeated Spinach??? I was made to feel as though I was odd for requesting an everyday vegetable. Maybe if they thought to cater for healthy eaters they would get more local custom. The customer service has definitely gone downhill and we will not be going back

Went there today with my 10 month old daughter, with in 2 seconds of the waitress placing the plates down the seagulls came down and stole my daughters toast. We then said we are Probs best eating inside which was fair enough accidents happen. The waitress didn't offer to replace the toast so I asked could she have some more. Then to my outrage they brought it over and said we're going to have to charge you 90p for it. Customer service is shambolic. A LITTLE 10 MONTH OLD GETS HER TOAST PINCHED OFF THE SEAGULLS AND THEY CHARGE FOR SOME MORE!! such a shame as the food was actually okay but they have lost a repeat customer and earned a bad review and reputation off this unkind act. Will never be returning and you should be ashamed for your reputation.

My family and I stopped here for a coffee today. We had brought an item of food with us - a pastie - un-beknownst to us you are not allowed to consume non-purchased food at the venue (you can in the country were we come from), after being told this by a staff member we apologised and put it back in it's bag, I put mine in my bag but my sister who had already eaten some of hers moved away from the area to finish it, the remainder was wrapped up and was on the table . My husband was inside ordering our coffee's at the time. A few minutes later another staff member (the owner I'm guessing) came flying out of the shop and verbally abused us and told us to get the foodbag off her table. We tried to explained what happened and that we had apologised to the other lady and were not consuming any food but waiting for our coffee's. We were told "you are not in Australia now and get your stuff off my table". Never in my life have I been treated in such an abominable manner, the height of rudeness was deplorable. If we hadn't already ordered coffee I would have told her where she could stick her cafe and left. But get this, when SHE brought our coffee/hot chocolate she was all sweet and lightness as if nothing had happened. I think even some of the other patrons were rather embarrassed at her behaviour and how we were treated. Never, ever will I return to this establishment again.

Being from another country and no knowing what is what. We bought a sausage roll and pastie from the bakery and headed across the road to Vincent's to have a coffee. I took a bite of my sausage roll and my friend cut her pastie in half. Next thing this sales girl came out and said we couldn't eat our food at the cafe because we did't buy it there. We said we had ordered coffee from them but it didn't matter. Ok, we apologised and put away the offending sausage roll. my friend got up and moved away to eat the half pastie she had in her hand and the other half sat on the table in a closed bag. Next minute the owner or head cafe lady came out and started abusing us for eating other food not bought at their cafe. We said we were not and that we were waiting for our coffee, and that a girl had already told us off. I tried to explain in Australia we can do this and she said so rudely to me "well you are not In Australia now " the offending half a pastie still sitting in the closed bag . She told us to remove it from her table. She didn't want to hear another word. Other people we staring and it was very embarrassing. Never have we been spoken to so rudely. I was gobsmacked. She bought the coffee's out to us all sweet and nice it would want to make you vomit. If you would like people to return then a bit of politeness would not go astray and maybe check out the facts before you go abusing your patrons.. I certainly would not waste my time on this place. There are many coffee shops along this strip that give pleasant and polite service. I have travelled for the last 5 weeks and this is the by far the worst service I have come across . I will never be retuning here.

From the outside it looked good. We sat and waited and waited...! Having eventually had tghe order taken for two teas and toast we waited and waited for the toast, trying several times to attract the attention of one of the very young waitresses. Eventually one came over and we said.."what about our toast?" She discovered the docket for thr toast had never been detached and handed in...so she tried to blame one of the other members of staff. The toast eventually arrived but we had finished the tea and no refill was offered "on-the-house" as a gesture of "sorry!". So we got up and left, never to return.

Food was good, although one of the staff fiddled with their earring and had her hand up her ear before handing us the cutlery with her hands right at the top! Quick service, good for a one stop, although slightly cramped.

Vincents was the first cafe with outdoor seating we came to on victoria rd west. Great rest stop, placed near the top of the street, near home bargains. Quick service. A small pot of tea for two, with rwo small toasted crumpets, at £2.85 each, should have came to £5.70. We had a small pot of hot water with our tea, so the bill was £6.00! We wont be back.

Came here on a windy February day, but we were greeted to a warm welcome and a good cup of tea. A good value place for a drink and bite - some members of the group took up the £2.50 offer for a hot drink and teacake. A good traditional, cafe and I'm sure we will visit again.

All the food and drinks are very good - though you'd want to pop over the road for a strong Costa Coffee. The staff have always been friendly and welcoming; even the shouty girl has mellowed quite a bit! They aim to be a classy café and for Cleveleys they are but I do wish they'd spend a bit more on their napkins - the smallest in the Fylde area???Visit though, it's really nice.

I have now been to Vincents on a number of occasions. Sometimes just for a coffee and other times for food. On all occasions I have enjoyed what I have had. The food is simple but is well cooked and enjoyable. With waiter/waitress service at your table, it makes a pleasant change from having to go to the bar to order.Eat/drink inside or outside makes it enjoyable.

Lovely cafe looks small but loads of seats in and out. Large menu all homemade bit pricey in some items but worth it for the quality. I had a breakfast, my wife had steak pie kids had a icecream sundae for desert. Staff were very friendly and constantly smiling and laughing with customers and other staff which was great. Highly recommended.

Today we had a scone two teacakes and 3 hot drinks totalling £7.65The hot drink came in cup you could get from a wendy house, the teacakes were just ones you get from a multipack small and standard taste. Scones said homemade and were small and dry. Shame really as the service wasnt too bad. Needs to look at the prices or change the portion sizes.

I will start with the positives, the staff are friendly and welcoming and the toast was great. The negatives were in my opinion the breakfast seemed very generic, that you would expect in a greasy spoon cafe, and as the pricing structure seemed a little high, I was expecting a little better. If the sausages had ever been near a pig I would be surprised, also my plate seemed to have a lot of liquid on it from somewhere. If the food was half the price it would have been ok, I think if the pricing structure was reviewed and reduced somewhat, then it might not be so bad...

This is a very busy cafe which says a lot about the food. We had braising steak, peas, gravy and mash or chips. We chose the mash and the food was very tasty. True the tables are on the small side for four but are fine for two. There is seating both inside and outside but if you are outside beware of the seagulls. The serving girls are very pleasant and are quick to clear tables and take your order. The toilets are up a flight of stairs and are modern and very clean. The menu has plenty of choices and the prices are reasonable. Went back later for Cappucinos.

Clean and tidy little cafe with waitress service. I opted for the early bird breakfast which was about the right size 2 bacon 1 sausage fried egg and beans with toast. The egg was clean and the bacon grilled. All of it was fab and really tasty. I liked the warning about the seagulls.

A nice cafe which serves an array of dishes - we usually go for a breakfast! It is definitely on the pricey side - but it's on the expensive side of Cleveleys so I'm sure their rent is sky-high!We did recently go to the Weatherspoons just up the road and I have to say it may not have been as nice, but it was definitely cheaper! But then you have the moral dilemma - a local business (more expensive) or a large, faceless corporate company (far cheaper!)?

We visit Cleveleys twice a year and on the last 2 occasions my brother in law sits in and has a coffee x2 as he can't walk far , so this year we decided to have dinner and looking at the menu we saw that steak pudding and chips was back on the menu by popular demand , so the wife and I had one each and the suet pastry was the lightest and very best we have ever had and it was filled with big pieces of steak with no fat or gristle and good tasty gravy , the nice comment from the waitress on serving the meals to our table was "I have given you the bigger piece " quite amusing I thought . My brother in law had home made meat and potato pie with mash and he was so pleased with his meal as was his wife who had , had the same as us . our bill for the wife and me with 3 drinks and 2 very good meals was just over £15 . the cafe although lacks space is clean as are the toilets which have the disadvantage of being upstairs . We have said that we will go back when we are there again in March 2015 . to have the pudding again so please keep it on the menu .

I have eaten in Vincents on several occasions and the food and coffee are always good, in fact there coffee is one of the best in Cleveleys. My only gripe with them is if you order a breakfast they do not allow you to swap any items and charge you extra if you want for example tomatoes instead of beans.

Whenever we visit Cleveleys, we wouldn't miss eating here. Although there is tremendous competition in the town, they seem to have the edge over their competitors. All the food is freshly prepared and of high quality, (unlike many of the restaurants and cafes in Cleveleys) and Jackie, the proprietress always goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Cleanliness is of utmost importance too, and for me that is always essential when eating out.If you are fussy about quality food at reasonable prices, then this is the place for you, you won't be disappointed.

Cleveleys has been a favorite day out location for myself and my wife since the Covid lockdown ended in 2020. With overseas holidays severely restricted we just jumped in the car and headed to the coast and Cleveleys was on the list. 6 miles from Blackpool it does not appear to be swamped with tourists but has fantastic beaches and relatively new promenade which is brilliant for walking, cycling, great for kids on bikes & scooters etc. You can walk to Blackpool in about 2 hrs and also to Fleetwood same distance with excellent promenades to both destinations, both excellent walks and trams available to bring you back to Cleveleys. Cleveleys itself is a busy town with plenty of eating places, pubs & bars, cheap & mid range with tourist shops, M&S express etc this is not a stylish place with great nightlife and high end bars etc but it is a great old style seaside town, great for young kids who want sand, sea, plenty of open spaces for games and chips!. There are plenty of cheap places to eat, plenty of takeaways, try Bean's Bakery for pies, cakes etc brilliant old fashioned tasty foods!. Overall, Cleveleys is a great place for a day trip or holidays for young families not wanting the noise & cost of Blackpool, its close enough to visit if you want. Love it!!!

Don't bother coming to this Cafe. The service was poor and food was poor. We visited the Cafe after a walk on the beach but was met with dirty tables that had not been cleaned, staff stood around talking in little groups. I had to ask for the table to be cleared and cleaned. Ordered a small breakfast and a double egg on brown toast. + 3 sausages for our dogs. Sausages was overcooked, like they were underneath a lamp to keep them warm, toast was toasted too much it crumbled away and was a bit burnt. The eggs was also like being left under a lamp due to staff not paying attention. when aske to order ice cream we were met with a sour face from more than 3 staff who was just standing around taking. Staff were young and didn't seem like they wanted to work there. It's a shame for the cafe because it's in a very good place but we will definitely not go back.

Whilst this is "just" a Joseph Holt pub its an especially nice one. Inside it is well presented. Outside it has some "beach huts" with TVs built in. The food is very well made and tasty. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. We ordered some kids meals and when it arrived my youngest daughter suddenly decided she didn't want the mash that she ordered and wanted chips. The waitress said she would bring chips at no extra charge! There was other examples too like offering to take a family picture of us on my phone when they saw us taking a selfie. I would definitely recommend this place to families looking for a pub meal.
