Thomas Drummond in Wyre

First time in this spoons; okay it does look like it needs a refresh but they had an excellent range of cask ales at stunning prices, a nice little outdoors seating space and the staff are very friendly and efficient so nothing to grumble about whatsoever.

Cheap and cheerful. Just like any other Wetherspoons.

Food is nice. Dinner time is nice and quiet fast service

Changed pint glass twice due to looking like it had been left out in the rain or used as a dog bowl. Need throwing out not washing. Buy some new ones. Fried eggs were lukewarm and rubbery.

Whilst working in Fleetwood (Market Art Studios), I’m often looking for a lunchtime pint and great food. This place is perfect for that and at very affordable prices - amazing actually- I’ll be back many times to come !

Myself and my wife visited here on the 15th of April around 2pm ISH. Never, ever, ever, ever again this is the worst one I have ever been too, myself and my wife both had a mixed grill. First of all the peppercorn sauce has the skin layer on the top like it had been sat for a long time before coming to our table and cold at the bottom. All the meats tasted the same and the colour of the meats you couldn't identify which was which meat, like they have all just been heated up together. Very rubbery. There was a member of staff with blonde hair and tattoos down one arm who was running g round like mad trying to clear tables, but the a women presumably her manager or supervisor shouting across the room because she stopped for 30 seconds, very poor way to manage the staff. It took to the end of the meal for anyone to do a check back with us, fortunately I was so hungry I would have eaten anything but my wife could hardly eat anything. I would say I would have complained but the manager/supervisor came across as "I don't care".

A male member of the bar staff accused me of purchasing alcohol drinks to a minor he repeated his alogatiion when my friend came to the bar to get some drinks. He then refused to serve both me and my friend Marcel, I contacted a female manager and told her of the alogatiion made by the member of staff. I also emailed head office, now it seems that the staff at The Thomas Drummond in Fleetwood have no knowledge of the incident. The member of staff has since disappearedfrom The Thomas Drummond. It seems to me untowards statement by the member of staff that a sixty four year old woman would be purchasing alcohol drinks to a minor. Has a result of the bar tender I am having sleepless nights and suffering from high blood pressure

Lovely staff. Fleetwood needs this Wetherspoons, genuinely like to award more stars but establishment does seem to be struggling. I hope it can survive.

my daughter and i went here for the first time and i was'nt very impressed i went to the bar and was looked over time and time again, if it was'nt for the kind gentleman at the side of me pointed at me when asked who was next thats only when i got served. bar staff was horrid and rude to me. however the lovely waitress with the blonde hair made up all the bad goings on will never go there again

Used to be able to park bicycles in the beer garden. A lot safer than outside. Sadly, the policy has changed.

Good beer, good staff, clean and tidy

I visit every week for a meal as the breakfast is really good value, but today everything was wrong the fried eggs really over done ( definitely no runny yolk best bit). Bacon was really pale and under cooked , sausages burned on outside not cooked in the middle, the smallest spoon of beans which looked like they had been stuck to the bottom of the pan, hash browns were nice as was the toast . But last week and weeks before everything good ( apart from never getting two good eggs ) Atmosphere can be quiet and relaxed but sometimes is full of chavs Best seats are a hidden little table in the corner as you enter on the right

As other reviews have mentioned, a refurb and decorating required. The pub itself is very good for food and local ales. Service of beer at the bar was compromised by the "table service". Service of food was prompt. The food was of good quality for the price.

Called in for a quick drink, tried to order on the App but couldn't as it wasn't available...so ordered at the bar.. Staff were OK.

If your a fan of Spoons the Thomas Drummond is as all Spoons homely and familiar. No faults expected and none found. The food and drink combinations are most welcome, are of good quality and priced fairly.

Regular visitors, always enjoy the food which is cheaply priced. Just one complaint. We are both disabled and use the disabled toilet. The door cannot be locked from the inside so there is a notice on the door to knock before using your key. However we have found that not everyone does that and it is embarrassing when someone opens the door. Please could the staff fit a lock on the inside so we could lock it and if someone comes along with a key they wouldn't be able to open it.

Been coming here years, the food is usually good. Had one bad meal in thar time and again yesterday... and I mean bad. Cold hard chips , the gammon was meant to be 10oz it definitely wasn't. Fatty and thin. The onoin rings also cold and hard. No one came over to check as normal. Won't be bothering again.

The cheapest wetherspoons I've been to, with a wide variety of drinks available and double bells with splash for £2.50. Staff very welcoming.

Great coffee...top ups all day. Lovely and warm in there on a freezing day. Quick bite to eat super cheap. Brill chips. Waitress cheerful. What more could you want? O yes free WiFi! !

I went for breakfast an Saturday the 31th the manager didn't know what day off the week it was can't even run a breakfast I said 3 times the table number 34 I waited 50 minutes for food didn't turn up so went to see the manger on the bar and she didn't know what to do so a bar tender stept in and eventually gave me my money back whith no apologise I will never go back

Love a good spoons 5* service was as good as ever. Prices as cheap as usual. Not in the best of areas. Parking faily easy outside if you visit before and after rush hours. Carpet needs renewing.

It's one of the quieter Wetherspoons pubs I've been in,small beer garden we're all the smokers go so didn't go there that much , good choice of draft beer at a price that's right and food was good to, its wetherspoons not a michelin restaurant overall its a good honest pub ,great value, I'll go again 👍

Saturday 9th November 2024 This weatherspoons was visited today, Friendly staff who knew exactly how to run this pub Well clean and no plates or empty glasses on tables The pub is a large roomed place with small rooms as well there is a small outdoor drinking area at the rear The great thing it has going for it is the great range of well-kept guest beers on hand pump this pub Keep up the great work all people involved with running this public house

30 minute wait for a Panini. When checking at the bar, told it will be ready when it's ready. Cold Coffee!! Not busy obviously. Never again. So many other branches better than this. Hopefully management read this and address issues.

Wetherspoons is one of the few places in Fleetwood that keeps the food standard up. The consistency is very good. Prices have gone up a bit but where hasn't. Curry Club Thursdays is good value for money. Been twice this week Oct 24/25. Very busy and quite noisy. Food was just as you would expect. Including drinks, still remain good value for money. The place is a bit the worse for wear and needs a refurb but as its up for sale probably not going to happen. Hard working staff are all very pleasant.

Nice little pub, visited with my family so 5 of us all together had a lovely meal and a couple of drinks without breaking the bank. The only downside was that the soft drinks dispenser was out of action but this wasn't a deal breaker. Nice staff nice food good atmosphere

Went to the Thomas Drummond for a cappuccino after shopping in Fleetwood. Staff very friendly as were the customers we spoke to. Sat in the garden and it was lovely

Had some food ,smaller portions than other wetherspoon but still nice ,good service and cheap drinks ,loved it .

Small breakfast is £2.40 and traditional breakfast is £3.14. So cheap, it's pointless cooking your own 😉

Food hot and arrived quickly. Service excellent and prices very good . Only negative is that it's in desperate need of some tlc. Could do with a spruce up.

Fair amount of local people mainly, but it's never really busy out side of the main meal times and Saturdays. Food usually very good, staff friendly.

Without doubt one of the worst levels of customer service I've experienced. Was visiting as part of a football adventure visiting Fleetwood Town, with my mother in law and father in law (who go around visiting as many Wetherspoons as they can). My mother in law thought she had ordered mushy peas with her food but when the order finally came (about 30 minutes later) the female waitress physically rolled her eyes and huffed when my mother in law kindly pointed out the wrong person were added to the order. The staff member went back into the kitchen then came out with the order and took pleasure in pointing out it was an error on my mother in law's side who simply selected the wrong option..When politely asked if there was anyway it could be changed she was told it would take over 30 minutes for this to happen. When my wife challenged this the member of staff started to become rude to the point we asked to speak to the manager but was told with a grin the manager will say the same. A couple of minutes later a male with sweat on his head, with ripped clothing approached us. When my wife asked if he was the manager he confirmed he was the duty manager. When asked for his name he straight away got on the defensive and said I don't have to give you this - not a great start when trying to deal or resolve a customer complaint. He stood at the end of the table with a worse attitude than the female member of staff. At no point did he acknowledge or apologise for the way we were spoken to and when my wife pointed this out he sarcastically said "I'm sorry". Without doubt the worst manager experience we have ever had. Witnessed in front of my 11 year old son. He then said you are more than welcome to leave. Then agreed to refund all our money and we left. The attitude on both members of staff were disgusting and ruined what was suppose to be a really good day visiting a new football ground and spending time with the family.

Quick service, big airy building, usual wetherspoons fare prepared nicely, good selection of guest ales. Enjoyed our visit.

Hello, visited on weekend, very busy, amazing place and very nice garden, food coming quick, well trained and nice staff, maybe some staff should be more happy to work and clean tables and tops from empty glasses and plates, understand but nobody is happy eat in dirty table and somebody should that keep on eye, garden friendly for smookers too, close to Monument and Fleetwood Beach, only 5 min walk from tram services Blackpool - Fleetwood, I had very good All day Brunch :-) enjoyed, Stay always smile and bring Your Familly Here and Friends too :-) thanks for a lovely and nice day Tram Days

Great place but sadly the bean counters at Wetherspoons have decided to sell this pub. nearest one will be Cleveleys which is often so full people walk out

Don't know whether they are short staffed but dirty tables and food was cold not a good experience.
