We were regulars until Covid , we were delighted with the food, staff and venue service a little slow but it was well worth the wait. It was “bike night” and the atmosphere was great . Defo going back 😊

Drove out to Knott end with the express purpose of visiting the café for lunch. Checked on line including their website and face book page. So not best pleased to see once we got there that it is closed. Cannot afford to be wasting petrol and time for waisted visits. They need to improve their communications with their potential customers

After making a 75 mile round trip to visit Knott End we were disappointed to find the ferry was not operating, then to find this cafe also closed despite the website clearly stating they are open 7 days per week added insult to injury. The website yesterday said "Today is Monday we are open from 10am". The notice on the door stated the cafe was closed for 10 days and is never open on a Monday. This misleading information caused inconvenience and is totally unprofessional. The website says today that they are open when clearly they are not!

I wasn't sure how to grade this cafe because my kids loved it . I thought it was okay. However for the price and all things considered I would say that it is okay. A kind of average cafe. We will eat there again if we are looking for somewhere to eat out in Knott-end. I had the fish - which was a bit bland. The meals my family had (all day breakfast, cheese burger, toasted sandwich) were better.

As a Blackpool local I was out and about for a jaunt and had travelled by the No 2 bus from Blackpool. I had just missed the Knott End ferry so went in for a snack. I had heard it had been part of Knott End Station way back when trains ran here so was interested in seeing inside. What a pleasant place. For a snack, I ordered a bacon barm (bap, roll, etc as others call them!!) and tea. The bap was a large amount of a very excellently cooked bacon. The tea was served using a teapot, cup and saucer and milk as well as a refill of hot water. Very filling and enjoyable.

Saturday lunch stop at this cafe .... very very slow service even with the 5 or 6 staff serving . not the cheapest place to eat .. Main problem ::: staff with very long hair ! handling and serving food without the hair in nets , staff taking money then handling food ..... NOT GOOD . facebook them with my comments .. they have seen them and didn't comment back ... may be when they read this they will !!!!!!!!

Been here on several occasions and found the food very good, but today was the worse meal I have had. I ordered a cheeseburger, when it came it was a small thick burger in a large bun with onions, salad and chips. The burger was burnt on the bottom, so I mentioned this to the waitress and she said if it’s not burnt on the outside it’s raw on the inside, no ‘sorry about that’, McDonald’s burger is better than that. Won’t be calling in there again.

Can be quite busy at times. I thought a bit pricey at first but the amount of food I received made it not so. The bacon barm I had was one of the best ever with an enormous amount of well-cooked bacon. The 'cup of tea' consisted of a teapot, hot water pot and milk. Very enjoyable

We waited in a not very busy cafe for 20 mins before the waitress said can you order at the till which we did then when the order came some 30 mins later they had missed a meal off and just said you will have to go and reorder at the till! We did not Then when we asked for our money back, because we had paid they tried to say that we had not ordered , but they had taken the money what a stupid thing to say. We will not be going back its not worth the trouble

Having eaten here before we visited again with pleasant memories of our previous trip. Have to say however that the quality of the food has gone downhill. The description of the food somehow didn't match what we got. Don't think we will be rushing back I'm afraid.

Called in for lunch last Thursday as the reviews used to be good for this cafe. The menu was very basic with pub grub type meals so my wife ordered a cream & jam scone (big mistake) it came with an individual small plastic container obviously not home made and the so called cream was foam cream ?.As my wife was hungry she just ate it and said nothing but as I was going out the waitress said was everything o.K ? So I explained that foam cream is not on in a jam & cream scone ,she said oh the people round here prefer foam cream ? so we stopped doing clotted cream-REALLY !nothing to do with the massive profit margin on foam cream then ? .Its such a shame as the cafe is in a brilliant spot but is let down my owners who just cant seem to be bothered to do proper home made food and authentic scones ect. maybe if enough people complain on here as they seem to be doing then hopefully they may pull there socks up and do the job properly . We will call in again next time we are in the area to see if the owners take any notice of there customers or not.

Great location. Shame about the scones and coffee. The texture of the scones (or their age?) meant they could not be sliced in half without fragmenting; the butter was too cold to spread (okay, we could remedy that); the jam contained no visible fruit; the cream was more like aerosol than clotted; the coffee was like instant coffee. We thought everything seemed "cheap". Perhaps the coffee, scones, jam and cream are better when it's not a busy Sunday. Pleasant staff but very busy so we didn't think there was much to be gained by mentioning our disappointment.

The Knott End cafe does a really good pot of tea...and thats rare these days. The cafe is family run and popular with a real mix of day trippers, locals and vintage motor cyclists. It gets quite busy. The food is generally good standard cafe food. However Ive marked it down to 4 out of 5 because they go to the trouble of making very good home made pies but ruining the pastry by putting it in a microwave. That "crime" aside a good little cafe. Reasonably priced too

As a biker and member of a very large biking group, I visit many places around the North of England and write reviews. This was my first visit to the cafe. I ordered the full English. It came with the greasiest fried new potatoes (Yuck). two sausages which I could not eat, I am sure they were either rotten or out of date. My wife gagged on the first bite. So most of the meal was left on the plate. Something I never do. As I went to pay, I was asked if everything was OK with the meal. I highlighted that the sausages tasted off and both my wife and I could not eat them. Personally I would shocked and concerned if someone did not like the food I cooked and even worse if they told me it tasted off. For someones who business depends on a good report, all I got was a pathetic sorry for this and then charged me full price for a really disgusting meal. Well sorry to say, I will not be going there again and will not recommend this place to anyone else. If I could have given zero then I would. We will how ever be making visit to the chippy down the road in future.

On a very windy, wet and cold Saturday afternoon we were pleasantly surprised with the warm welcome and atmosphere at the Knott End cafe. Located at the very end of the peninsula, as far as you can go before ending up in the sea, and next to the ferry stop to Fleetwood. We had a window seat with fantastic views across the sea. One of the best cafe views I have ever had and really added to the experience. It's not a 'greasy spoon' cafe, it's a step above that as the quality of the food shows.I can see most just popping in for a brew and cake, which is good, but their menu is quite good, with lots of homemade stuff such as pies and puddings. It's English cooking with their own roast chicken, hams, beef etc. I went for the burger as it read well on the menu. It didn't disappoint. Homemade 6oz Beefburger with bacon & cheese on a toasted bun with onions, gherkin, relish and chips. The meat was delicate and very tasty. The cook said he had trouble keeping the pattie shape but that added to the rustic nature. A very, very good burger. The other had home roast ham sandwiches which were very generous and filled the bread (unlike some places where they just dollop a little meat in the middle). Chips weren't homemade but were okay. They offered free mayo and sauces. The coffee and tea was acceptable. Although the portions of the meal were good (as you can see in my photos) we decided to go for the tempting (again all homemade) puddings. I could see their 'famous' lemon meringue in the chill cabinet and had to have a slice. Delicious lemony curd with delicate soft meringue and with two scoops of vanilla ice-cream. Extremely more-some. The other had lemon rolly-polly with homemade custard which took her straight back to school days! I couldn't fault the food and think the quality justified the prices, which I didn't consider excessive like some other reviewers. You get what you pay for . I like this place. It's clean and tidy. Service was very speedy and very friendly with both the waiter and cook having time to stop and chat. I liked that.I am troubled by some of the poor reviews below and wonder if they have been to the same place. Shame if they had problems as this place is simply wonderful. If you want to eat great down to earth food in a comfy cafe with great views I'd give it a try and make your own mind up.

Better cafe tgan tge other reviews would suggest. The woman who served me was pleasant and helpful. The food was pretty good. From filthy glasses to undercooked food - this cafe is one to avoid. In years gone by it was much better but now the staff don't care and spend most of the time standing around talking. Cleveleys has been a favorite day out location for myself and my wife since the Covid lockdown ended in 2020. With overseas holidays severely restricted we just jumped in the car and headed to the coast and Cleveleys was on the list. 6 miles from Blackpool it does not appear to be swamped with tourists but has fantastic beaches and relatively new promenade which is brilliant for walking, cycling, great for kids on bikes & scooters etc. You can walk to Blackpool in about 2 hrs and also to Fleetwood same distance with excellent promenades to both destinations, both excellent walks and trams available to bring you back to Cleveleys. Cleveleys itself is a busy town with plenty of eating places, pubs & bars, cheap & mid range with tourist shops, M&S express etc this is not a stylish place with great nightlife and high end bars etc but it is a great old style seaside town, great for young kids who want sand, sea, plenty of open spaces for games and chips!. There are plenty of cheap places to eat, plenty of takeaways, try Bean's Bakery for pies, cakes etc brilliant old fashioned tasty foods!. Overall, Cleveleys is a great place for a day trip or holidays for young families not wanting the noise & cost of Blackpool, its close enough to visit if you want. Love it!!!

Don't bother coming to this Cafe. The service was poor and food was poor. We visited the Cafe after a walk on the beach but was met with dirty tables that had not been cleaned, staff stood around talking in little groups. I had to ask for the table to be cleared and cleaned. Ordered a small breakfast and a double egg on brown toast. + 3 sausages for our dogs. Sausages was overcooked, like they were underneath a lamp to keep them warm, toast was toasted too much it crumbled away and was a bit burnt. The eggs was also like being left under a lamp due to staff not paying attention. when aske to order ice cream we were met with a sour face from more than 3 staff who was just standing around taking. Staff were young and didn't seem like they wanted to work there. It's a shame for the cafe because it's in a very good place but we will definitely not go back.
