Why oh why can't you put a V sign on vegetarian food? I know you have a vegan menu (there is a difference between vegan and vegetarian, just lazy to have just vegan and think it will suit vegetarians). All menus should have V signs and also there is no mention of food intolerances, gluten free not mentioned either. On a sunny day there is outside seating but not one sun umbrella so too hot to sit out in bright sun. Noisy radio playing inside too, sad as this place used to be good and lovely environment. Won't return.

The room we booked was awful, chair arms all ripped and sponge handing out. The staff(young kids) kept getting all the drink orders wrong and also tried to over charge on multiple occasions. We got told for cold buffet food it was 6pound something and for hot and cold it would be 9pound something. So they picked the 9pound option for 40 people. The food was absolutely awful and appalling. One bowl of chips, 3 small trays of dreadful sandwiches. And a few other crappy things. I most definitely not be going there again. Discussing place

Unpleasant experience and cold. Activities going on in main cafe with children, very noisy. Went into other place, no where comfy to sit. I’m disabled and like to get out of my chair to sit and eat and the place was freezing and uncomfortable. Tables dirty and not wiped down. It’s difficult enough having to get down the path to the place without feeling like they don’t want you there. It’s not disability friendly. Then came the bill…two coffees, main meals and bread… £32 …. It wasn’t worth the money at all. We won’t be back. We asked about heating but said it’s broke….but the place to eat was very cold.

This is a place we visit in frequently but a group of us were out early on a Saturday afternoon and it proved a good venue. It isn't my favourite brewery but there are lots of other drinks to have instead. It was a sunny day so we took a table outside and it was fantastic. Lots to see going on around you and they even had a television on there showing the racing from Royal Ascot. It isn't a particularly expensive place but we were warned about the car park. If you do leave your car there make sure you register as apparently it is strictly enforced and you might receive a fine if you don't register.

Arrived for Sunday lunch at 1 pm , told can’t order Sunday lunch because they had used all the meat for a kids party. Waited around 10 minutes then we were able to order. Food came around 20 minutes later, it looked lovely, unfortunately it wasn’t very hot, no stuffing on my turkey dinner, and the veg was very hard, the meat was nice and when I eventually got some stuffing it was nice and hot. The staff were lovely, on the way out I told the lady behind the bar that it was all cold . Was it worth £35 no definitely not.

Lovely little village shop, lovely service, this is why 3 stars, we have been 3 times and sadly our last, the ice cream is poor considering it is supposed to be premium, water crystals in the ice cream on each visit with all flavours tried weak in taste, cherry, rum & raisin, cookie dough, white chocolate and more. I don’t like writing reviews like this but the ice cream is not good enough and that goes for what is sold at the new shop in Abbey village. Find a better premium ice cream or change the method of making.
