Tiffany's in Bolton

Friendly place, staff really helpful, food was nice and place was clean / tidy. Not from Bolton but if I was would be in there often. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Have been going for a long time and will be going for a long more time, when Chris took over it's gone better as they have gone back to the better biscuits (lol),nice coffees nice food nice everything, I understand that there has been a few changes in staff but that is normal in the food business as people leave/move on and training new staff takes time but all the staff that I have encountered there have been excellent, keep up the top food-drinks and a big thankyou

Present owners took over a year or so ago & they work hard at getting it right , heads up for ELIZA (boss) she works like a trougeon She runs herself to the ground to keep customers happy , they have finally got a lad in kitchen that listens .

they have an outside area, covered and with heaters, as Mum's in a wheelchair, this makes it easy to get in/out of, food very good, can recommend.

Called in today with my partner got to say the lady manning the counter and the young girl waiting on the tables were lovely but wasn't impressed with the older man collecting pots my partner was stood at the counter waiting to be served the man had a try with pots on he just pushed the tray in his back when my partner turned round he said i asked twice then while we was sat eating he again just pushed passed a lady waiting at the counter i'm sorry but definitely wouldn't have anyone with that kind of attitude working for me it's put me off going back .

Went in for some breakfast, found myself falling over tables it was that tightly packed, looked like a corner shop rather than a cafe with the decor. Far too many staff members on shift, the staff were great but half as many would be sufficient, miracle they haven’t gone bankrupt yet on staff wage alone... the place screams poor management. Has potential though with the half decent food and great staff.

The perfect cafe to sit outside and watch the Bolton light switch on, while enjoying a nice glass of red wine and a delicious pink gin, the staff were spot on, very pleasant and chatty will be back.

We have been using Tiffanys for over two years and have seen the price of Breakfasts increase a rapid rate. First it was £6-00 for two then this increased to £8-00 with a drink included on a recent visit this had been taken off the menu and the cost of a coffee was £2-55 bringing the total to £13-10 , sorry but this is way over the top whilst the quality is good the service is good this sort of increase makes it to expensive and as such you have now lost our custom

Ordered panini bacon cheese sxambled egg. Seems scrambled egg and cheese are invisible. Complained and was told the egg was in with the cheese!! Sliced tomato would've been nice. Wife had doorstep toast, can't really go wrong. Won't be coming again. Changed hands possibly? Standards have really dropped

Went in at lunch time on a super rainy day, was a few people in but not very busy. Asked a lady standing near the door if she worked there and she said are you joking, not if you paid me double. Went up to the counter and asked the ladies behind what the soup was. Neither one of them knew and so had to go physically look at the tub in the kitchen. We were a bit out off by then so left without ordering.

Popped in on a sunday afternoon with my Son and Daughter for a quick break on a bit of a shopping trip. We were served by Elizia (?) who was very friendly and made the kids (4 and 1) both feel very welcome and at ease. We orderd some toast, a mocha and some juices for the kids. The toast was really thick doorstop bread, lashings of tasty butter and like something out of a Hovis advert - soft, hot and delicious. The Mocha was nothing like I have had before. 4 layers, coffee, chocolate sauce, hot chocolate and frothy milk - all topped off with cream and choc sprinkles. Absolutly delicious and fantastic - heartly recomended.

We visited today service was great staff down to earth asking if everthing was ok. We walked passed few times we will be coming back :) The food was great didn't expect much for price but was outstanding.

The place was busy! The prices are reasonable the staff pleasant but not good on so many levels.

Visited today with my son my friend and her son. Found a table after having to juggle chairs around in a small space and squeeze us all onto a tiny round table. Looked at the menu and specials and all decided what we wanted. Noticed it looked a bit expensive but ordered anyway. I ordered a pasty with peas and gravy and added the optional extra of chips for £1. When it came there was no chips with it and was told I hadn’t paid for them which I thought I had,they gave me some anyway in the end. After I’d paid I realised I’d paid £3.95 for a Carrs pasty that retail at £1.55 with a spoon of peas and some average gravy! My son ordered a sausage and egg baton off the specials but they didn’t have any batons left so said they would do him two barns instead...only one arrived! When I asked why they said because it was cheaper. When I checked there was a 5p difference! Not impressed. My friends son ordered the kids meal deal special of sausage roll with chips and beans a drink and a treat. We were then told they had no sausage rolls left! They offered a pasty instead which we accepted but then that came on its own! No chips and beans and no treat! They only thing that was right was my friends breakfast but for what she paid it was rubbish! We also had to ask for clean cutlery and it was filthy with old food stuck to it. One issue fine but not that many in one visit! Definitely won’t be returning!

Located immediately by the finish line of one of the world's toughest ironman contests. We popped in and were greeted by 4 smiling and jovial young ladies all being managed by claire. It was wonderful to see the young staff being trained and encouraged in such a positive manner. T was inspiring to see and we enjoyed welcome respite from a long day standing, supporting the competitors. Well done to all the team and continue with the grest work. The eccles cake was to die for!

Tiffany's big breakfast is what the doctor ordered after a night out. Kids love the thick toast here. And the new milkshake bar is a bonus.

We called in for a coffee break during our shopping trip. It has a good location on the main square with a large outside seating area. We ordered two flat whites which were quite expensive at £2.85 each. When they arrived we were disappointed that it was not a barista style coffee just a large milky coffee.

Visited last weekend with my mum and three children and the food was fabulous and the atmosphere was very family orientated. The staff especially Nicole and Linda couldn’t do enough to help and made our meal very enjoyable thank you and we will be visiting again

Whenever we go in town and past the town hall, this place is always busy so that must say something. The food is hot and so are the drinks and that's what you want. Give it a try.

I called in with my 2 year old son was welcomed with a smile and straight away offered a high chair. I was served by nicole attentive and Mariah served us are meals and couldent be any more helpful. And plus gave my son hugo attention which he loves. Keep up the good work and I'll be telling my friends and family

Well what can I say.... what a lovely friendly place to relax with your friends for a scrumptious breakfast coffee & catch up.the staff are lovely polite and always very helpful especially a young lady called Christina who makes the most perfect lattè and always has a smile on her face.

Called in on wednesday for breakfast had the 'big breakfast' , it was hot and freshly cooked , was served by lynda who was friendly and professional , food was lovely and will definately visit again when next in bolton

I visited here every Saturday morning all staff are brilliant, Christina usually serves us and she's always polite, well presented and so friendly I highly recommend this cafe and I'll continue coming for the excellent service and fantastic breakfast and coffee. Came here for the first time yesterday and was expecting a greasy spoon cafe, but we were pleasantly surprised once inside as it had a cosy coffee house feel. Wasn't expecting great food to be honest, as the price was so reasonable - we had the two meals for £12 including two teas. When the two lasagnes arrived, it was obvious that they were home made rather than the usual re-heated or microwaved meals I was expecting for the price. My veggie lasagne was delicious, and as good as you would get in a decent restaurant. Also the extra chips for £1 were perfectly cooked to order. The staff were friendly and professional - quick service with a smile. Came away happy to have found this place and will come back whenever in the area.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming, I could see that they was willing to help the older age who was less able and also interact with the younger age group aswell. They provided with great customer service. They was very quick in the service and took time to usher conversation and interact with us. The food was lovely, well cooked and couldn’t fault it in anyway.

The cafe has gone downhill. used to visit all the time but the customer service and quality of food has gone down. All the changes are bad. The staff are just horrific now, the service used to be a lot better. The new staff are just obnoxious and unwelcoming

Called in Sunday at around half 2, checked a menu before going to the counter to order, clearly states open until 4.

Myself and my daughter went here for lunch today. We asked what the soup of the day was, we were told it was tomato and roasted red pepper. Knowing I'm not allergic to any of those we ordered soup and a sandwich. We are most of the soup then I realised it had lumpy white bits near the bottom.I then suspected this could be cheese. On asking a member of staff was there cheese in the soup first response was I'm not sure. She then got a tub out which the soup was stored in (which had 2 labels on) one with cheese and one without. She wasn't entirely sure which one it actually was which is a joke in itself. Eventually decided that yes it was cheese. I told her I had a serious allergy to cheese and after eating it I will end up in bed for a few days. Her answer simply was "all I can do is apologise" well in my opinion that's ridiculous, ok the cheese isn't going to kill me but on the other hand my allergy could be so bad that it could do. Staff really should learn to give the correct information when being asked what soup they are actually serving.

Our first visit was not good few week ago but we decided go back again and give it another chance, we were aspecting it will be fine this time but the girl over the counter were very unfriendly and bad attitude towards us completely ignorance, food was cold soggy again, only one good thing Is the price is cheaper then other cafes in town. Staff need more training.

I Took my mum here the other week for a brew, i had one and a small breakfast as well and was charged over £11.00 for two brews and a small breakfast, when i asked why this was so expensive they told me that was their normal prices, i had eaten here previously and never remember paying that much so i checked the menu and was shocked when i saw that what i had ordered was available for only £6 which included two breakfast's and a large pot of tea, they had ripped me off, when i questioned the management she told me it was my fault because i didn't tell them what breakfast to order so she served me an ALL DAY BREAKFAST at 9 in the morning, when i explained to her that it was obvious i wanted a morning breakfast as i walked in, in the morning she became very hostile and made me feel like i was some criminal for confronting her, cut a long story short, i'm not bothered about the price, it's the principle and i'm just letting locals know if you have any vulnerable people in your life such as disabled or elderly tell them to stay clear as they will more than likely be preyed upon due to their vulnerability and ripped off.

The coffee not bad always hot the service is good. Food it’s ok cake standard it’s hot cooked well. If you want a coffee and a snack then this a good place

Enquired about opening times previous day and arrived for breakfast. Sat in outside where the locals assured us the staff would take order where we sat. Staff saw us and just watched, more interested in chatting to each other. Left after 15 mins for weatherspoons just around the corner. If the place had been busy would have understood. Very poor impression.

Me and my daughter went for breakfast there and we would not go back. I ordered a breakfast for me and her which includes tea . However my daughter has allergies to tea and milk so I asked if I could exchange it for another drink . They said it would cost another £2 for another drink ,she only wanted a small juice .

We visit town centre a few times a year and this is our second visit here. We ordered a meal from the specials board. 1 chilli and rice. 1 chicken fillet burger, and one scrambled eggs on toast served with beans and a sausage for a child. To drink, we ordered 1 skinny latte, 1 hot chocolate with whipped cream and a children's sugar free vimto. The food came within 10 minutes and we all enjoyed the meals. All staff were friendly and once again we had a pleasant visit. Keep up the good work and we'll see you again on our next visit to Bolton. Thank you.

we found this cafe after our favourite one closed and we could not believe the quality of the food excellent prices and although the staff are young nothing is to much trouble service is quick everything cooked to order everyone has a smile a polite word which is all the owner could ask for and great coffee please keep up the good work

Came for lunch with family after attending the pantomime, it’s December, it’s quite chilly, yet staff, despite several customers repeatedly closing the door, we’re propping it open as they were warm. Seems customers and hot food come second. Will not return in future unless the staff are taught some manners.

Me and my son visited Tiffany's last week and ordered cheese burger and chips, the meals came and after taking a bite of each of the burgers discovered they were both raw in the middle. I complained to one of the waiteress who took it to the "chef" and he said that we should have asked for the burgers well done! I told her all we wanted was our burger to be cooked and not still mooing on the plate!

Went today going to order a breakfast, but being alone I would have to pay the higher price. Breakfasts are 2 for £6 or 1 for £4. same with there lunch menu.

Visited Bolton on Monday. Decided to have a coffee and scones. The scones were delicious. Service was very quick and staff pleasant. Not happy with extra 50p charge on debit card! Not come across this before. That won't happen after January next year.

me and my wife have been having meals at tiffany's for quite a few years and enjoyed having meals there even taking my children and grandchildren but sorry to say the standard of food and the attitude of the staff have really gone down in the last year or so.

Me decidí a probar este lugar una mañana cuando estaba lloviendo, que comenzó bien, yo puse mi orden y se sentaron en una mesa limpia con mi taza de té y el periódico esperando mi desayuno, y esperamos y esperamos y esperamos, una vez terminado mi té, me di cuenta de que las personas que sirvieron después me tenía ya su desayuno y casi ellos terminen. Miré mi reloj y me di cuenta de que había estado esperando 25 minutos para un desayuno sencillo para uno. Terminé de leer toda mi papel y estaba a punto de pedir mi dinero de vuelta y llegó. La comida no valió la pena la espera, pero estaba bien pero nunca volveremos aquí de nuevo, nada especial, y una vez es suficiente, incluso si me demostró con mi comida más rápido la próxima vez, simplemente no vale la pena. Ve a otro sitio, simplemente no vale la pena la molestia.

Bit on the pricey side and ordering station very over full with things and took forever to get seen to.When my food came it was so so good very tasty and very filling and fresh was not happy with the price but can't knock the goodness of the food.Only other thing I did not like was the tables where to close together and that was a problem.Would eat there again if prices dropped but as said before great food.

Went last Wednesday for breakfast. Only two staff on at 9.30. Ordered two breakfasts. What a let down. I could have soled my shoe with the fried egg it was so over cooked and the toast was burnt. When I complained to the lady behind the counter all I got was a shrug and asked if the egg was overdone. They must have had similar complaints. Sorry was the only other response. No offer of a partial refund or replacement. Won't be going there again.

My Husband and Myself always call at this Cafe when shopping in Bolton. The outside seating is great for people watching - and believe me there are some "sights" to be seen on the Town Hall Square.The service is always good and we always enjoy our cuppa's.We have even sat outside in winter, when the seating area is heated.Give it a try - make your own mind up, we like it.

Well we spotted this little place and went in for a welcome cuppa. Whilst there we noticed they did a really good breakfast menu deal, lots of food choices , hot s=dishes, sandwich menu, Lots of different coffee choices and our excellent cup of tea, which was served in tea cups and, saucers, but i asked if we could change them for beakers, and it was absolutley no trouble at all to the waiter. He almost looked pleased to be able to do so. Thankk you.

Brought my granddaughter here, they brought chips out 10 minutes before the rest of the meal and that came out cold sent it back and again waited 5 minutes service is rubbish no wonder they get you to pay first won't be back that's for sure

Always good food, outdoor area with canopy, cheerfull staff, great for people watching, as you can see across the precinct.

Good food, good service, good atmosphere, cheerfull staff, the outside covered area, has heating as well, enjoy.

Where do I begin, It was midafternoon , when the best seats in the house, by the window , were 'reserved' - actually the staff had already cleaned the area ready for the next day!!??The so called hot chocolate was more like warm flavoured milk, when I initially asked for a bit more powder was told 'no, it's premeasured, we don't use much' . They eventually put a small amount more in our (3) drinks. The cakes were just 'poor' prepacked and synthetic. The toilets were filthy. The staff very unfriendly.This is not the first time we have been, but not for a long time, it's by far the worst time though. Very dissapointing.

We called mid week for a bite to eat. We had 2 full breakfasts and our little girl had, sausage and beans. The came reasonably quick and was very tasty indeed. We had two coffees and a fruit shoot for our little girl. The cafe was quite busy, has great decor, ideal location being on the square in the middle of town. We'd definitely call again as we found the food was great value for money and it was very clean.

Four of us visited last month, none of us enjoyed our food it was terrible and they charged extra if you paid with your card. Would never go again absolutly rubbish.

Been in a few times with family and my partner, we've had breakfasts and lunches here all we're fantastic. The chicken tikka is my favourite, it is made by the owner and is cooked perfectly, served with either rice or chips and a small naan it is very filling and the chicken just falls apart as it is cooked so well. Breakfasts are also fantastic and the staff are willing to help with anything you need (including doing a breakfast with multiple individual items as I'm very fussy and there were items on all standard breakfasts that I didn't like). If there are any problems staff are happy to help. All in all a fantastic little cafe that I will certainly visit again :-)

An ordinary shopping trip to not so sunny Bolton and wanting to support an independant business, we gave them a try. Fish, chips, mushy peas & tea for two at just £12.00 Great price. Great service from the Saturday youngsters working there, but the food was not good. I hate being critical of small businesses, but this has to have been the worst I have had for many a year. I hope it was just a bad meal and this wasn't their normal quality, but, never again for me and I'm not a fussy eater.

I visited bolton with my kids. Some xmas shopping and thought I would try tiffanys as the name caught my eye and looked busy. Staff were so helpful as to help with high chair and very friendly with my kids. Food was fair priced for home cooked steak pie was so nice and kids nuggets was not that processed rubbish these were chicken so all I can say is me and my family will be returning again nice clean warm and friendly environment.

The lady who works in the kitchen was extremely ride to me and my partner. We went in there for breakfast however want aware you had to buy a drink with the breakfast as part of the deal, having been last and discovered how extortionate the price of a coffee was we decided against it this week. When the lady brought out our breakfast she asked where our drinks were, when I told her we hadn't ordered a drink she gave me a look like I'd just deficated on her floor. She then preceded to tell off the poor lad who served us on the till then came back and told us off for not ordering a drink.The experience ruined our breakfast, which was subpar at best anyway. We will definitely not be returning!

Nipped in for some breakfast with the Missus. Ordered a pot of tea - when I asked for a second cup the waitress gave me a dressing down in front of other customers and insisted I must buy a second pot - we just wanted to share one pot!The prices were out of proportion and too high.We ordered cheese on toast - toast arrived black and was very poorly made. We insisted our tea and left as staff made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome after we complained.Personally there are plenty of other places to eat in the area and we will not be going back for seconds!Very poor experience and rather confrontational for such an early start.

I went to Tiffany's cafe in Bolton town for breakfast on Friday 5th February 2016. The staff was friendly and gave a good service. It's an average cafe, and a little disappointed that they don't do veggie sausages, as a part of there meat free breakfast option, & a little expensive for quantity. Tiffany's has a friendly atmosphere, with wheelchair access.

This cafe is very handy for the Town Centre, opposite the Town Hall. Friendly and clean, food generally ok. The big breakfast is available all day and was nice, part from the sausages which were like chewing on sticks! For some reason it comes with a drink before 11.30, but not afterwards - does food and drink cost more to procure and serve later in the day? Overall not bad but could be a lot better.

Went yesterday as previous called in coffee...looked really good on paper....coffee was really weak...In fact it didn't even taste like coffee and as for paying for another shot. ...nah I don't think so. The breakfast advertised is misleading you dont actually know what you are getting. ...bacon tasted microwaved and non-discript...and fatty rest of the food was warm ..sorry won't be going again.......make your own choice it may be that the chef had an off day. ...and my expense...

Used to be a great place to go for a good coffee and one of the best teacakes i have ever eaten but, last time i was there the coffee was very weak (had to pay extra for another shot) and the teacakes had a nasty margarine spread all over them. Not been since.

Called for an afternoon treat of Baileys coffee for me & mother-in-law whilst out shopping in the sales. Although the service was excellent the prices seemed extortionate ! £9.40 for 2 regular Baileys coffee - we were both shocked at the prices & even questioned if this was correct. We recently had the exact same at one of the coffee stalls on Bolton market & that was £5 - big difference. Like I say, the service was excellent bit the prices were questionable.

This is a standard eatery with the sorts of options you would expect - breakfasts, sandwiches, panini, meals of the cod and chips, burger, pie and chips variety plus some sweet options. Popular with the locals, it was busy enough on the lunchtime we visited that they struggled to clear tables as other customers left. The meals are reasonably priced and represent quite good value - two of you can select a meal and a drink from their menu for a total cost of £12. If it's a Sunday, you can enjoy two cooked breakfasts for just £6. There is both indoor seating (a little crowded, but that reflects the demand) and quite a number of outdoor tables "on the square", which even on a cold day were popular, mainly with smokers. There are toilets downstairs which are clean, if accessed by a steep flight of stairs. We appreciated the availability of a few newspapers to read while we ate. But the highlight for us was the service provided by a team of young staff, all of whom made a real effort and were very pleasant with it. This may well be why the locals keep coming back.

It's a little cramped inside, if your in a wheelchair, but there's sheltered outside seating, great staff, great food, reasonably priced, clean.

Good food at good prices, good portion size which makes you want to keep going, tasty milkshakes. They do fab breakfasts as well as tasty main meals.
