The Berkeley Hotel offers amazing room space and a truly luxurious atmosphere. It’s an absolutely phenomenal place to treat yourself or your family. Obviously, the price is extremely high, but it’s definitely a place you can dream about for once in a blue moon! I went for my one of my family member birthday, and it was worth every penny.

Lovely family run hotel in idilic location with great views from rooms. Very warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere in hotel lounge greeted by very friendly staff team. Service is excellent and food home cooked by the owner Sue. Went new years eve with our dog who had treats waiting in our room. There was a lovely buffet included in the evening for all guests and an amazing chillie beef included the following day for Dinner. Breakfast as always was fresh cooked local produce...cooked by sue and served by Denise...nothing is to much trouble. Chilled out with drinks by the wood burner and chattered with other guests and Sue and Alan. Thanks also to Mathew Dylan and Lilia for professional and attentive service. Great menu and great quality food. Professional friendly service. The atmosphere is cosy and the place has a homely feel to it. Really nothing bad to say. The clotted cream rice pudding is ridiculous ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We visited last weekend to entertain wedding guests. The management here are amazing, they go the extra meter to ensure everything is in place as the happy couple planned. Great working with them - just love good organisation. The function room holds about 80 guests. It has a low ceiling, and the atmosphere is good. Loading is good with a trolley. Parking is very good and well managed.

Sorry but not great. More batter than fish. Fish was dry. Curry sauce too thin. Was starving so still devoured it, but won't be rushing back.

Lovely food with very welcoming staff who are well organised. Warm.and cozy bar area where food is served in the perfect amount of time.

Last minute dinner out. Found the Plough, staff were very helpful, polite and kind. The dining area was immaculatly clean. Food came quickly and we were shocked with the quality of the food for such a reasonable price. We had the fish and chips. The fish overtook the plate and the batter was crisped to perfection.

Clearly not used a black person walking into this establishment as the first they said was “are you here to pick up for delivery?” Then waited 30 minuets for my food whilst every other person in the shop was served before me? Really? It’s 2024 get a grip!

As a videographer, I had the pleasure of working at Lancrigg Wedding Venue in the stunning Lake District, and it was an experience I won't soon forget. This seamless collaboration ensures that the couple can focus on enjoying their special day while I capture the memories that will last a lifetime. Overall, Lancrigg is a fantastic wedding venue for videographers and couples alike, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to create beautiful wedding memories in a breathtaking location.

The food is okay but poor if you consider the price. The staff are nice but have no idea what they are doing. The atmosphere is terrible. Eat somewhere else.

First few times I've tried here it's been nice but the last few times I've had carbonara pasta it has been so bland, the man behind the counter had dirty hands as well not good for health & hygiene 🤢🤢 It just put me right off

Can't comment on rooms as we didn't use them, 10 of us ate, all roast dinners of lamb or beef. Lamb was excellent. Caramelised carrot and cabbage was good, nice mash, gravy top notch, but yorkshire well over done, 9 went out and 8 and a half returned to kitchen. Staff where lovely and couldn't do enough for you. Definitely be back again
