Love this cafè it’s always our go to for breakfast/brunch! The food is always lovely but the staff are what make this place so special, so warm and welcoming and have a laugh with us every time we visit, always go above and beyond for their customers. Highly recommend!

Very busy evening service during half term - we were almost an hour late for our booking and were worried that we’d miss our table When we arrived the staff were awesome, calm and helpful - sat a table within 5 mins. Chap at the bar who took our order was really friendly and built good rapport with everyone. Sam D - our fab waiter was so helpful making sure everything was ok and going above and beyond to add extra ad hoc items drink and desserts for us Perfect for the kids too with the play area and me and the Mrs actually managed to enjoy a bit of time together over a drink!

Went for breakfast as we were staying in the travelodge which is practically next door... We googled the opening times and seen that it was open at 10am but it was actually open from 9am. It would be a good idea to have the opening times on the window to save any confusion. I ordered a vegetarian breakfast and at £4.95 I was expecting a vegetarian sausage at least but I got 1 egg, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes and toast. My partner ordered the medium sized breakfast and he was looking forward to the fried bread...but when it arrived it was buried underneath tomatoes so it was totally soggy...both breakfasts looked like everything had just been thrown on the plate and different juices were swimming into each other which I don't like. Both breakfasts tasted ok but I think presentation needs to be looked at. The lady serving was friendly.

Went for a family lunch and had quite average food at an above average price. I was very unhappy about being told "I really must sort the track and trace thing" when I asked if they wanted my details.

Writing this whilst still at Casablancas but felt I had to. Walked in today after the news that the team from The Brass Pig had now taken over the kitchen. Lovely warm welcome from the lady behind the bar and from the gentleman who served us as well. Good beer, comfortable surrounds and a nice atmosphere. This is a really nice bar. However the genius here is bringing in food of such high quality at such a reasonable price. Went for the Cajun Chicken and the Pig Mac and both were amazing and it was so good to have exceptional food back in Southport. My one plea to the catering team. Don't leave me again Highly recommend. Will be back

Was getting hungry in Southport so went into Waterfield's for a snack. Tried the Lancashire pasty which was ok. Pastry was a bit thick and soft and filling was a bit salty. A bit pricey at close to £2!

Once again, the staff of Clouds did us proud. We (Southport Friendship group and Crosby Writers) took a combined party of 47 to our Christmas lunch, and along with other groups, they managed around 70. Food was well served and piping hot, and nothing was too much trouble for those serving. If your son or daughter was working there today, you should be very proud of them. The same goes for Paula, and those working in the back. Thank you all for making our day, special.

Food and staff good. Pub was overcrowded with extra chairs and tables meaning people couldn’t get into the seats of the empty tables as they were blocked by the people sitting behind them. Wetherspoons Southport looked dirty and unkempt, all 3 coffee machines didn’t work. The staff were polite efficient and pleasant and keep the place ticking over. If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t go again. The owner makes lots of money and is treating his customers poorly . Outside the tables area was littered with stub ends of cigs why is he allowed to keep tables on the grass verges now covid is over?

The second time I’ve been in this pub in both times it was absolutely freezing with the same excuse that the heating the waiting for an engineer I don’t expect to go somewhere and pay money to sit there freezing while having a drink there a heater on the bar and one round the corner the stuff that served us had the sleeves rolled down over their hands keep them warm. Why don’t you just let them put the heating on? You get more custom you certainly lost mine and I was spreading the word too. if you can’t keep your customers warm shut the pub. The Bold in Churchtown is completely different always warm is the manager trying to save money to make his profits look good freezing as customers off instead I would’ve given it zero but it wasn’t an option.

Visited at lunchtime today and was surprised how extensive the menu was and how reasonable the prices seemed. You can sit outside in the shopping centre or inside. We chose the last table inside - super clean - lady cleaning tbe tables was very efficient. Ordering at till was very easy and everything brought to the table. We had 2 main courses and 2 drinks for £16 - excellent value. The omelette served with chips and salad was amazing. Definitely be back.
