Really great place would totally recommend for a nice meal with a great group of staff. It's alot better than some of the places charging over the moon for the same stuff, it's also super clean

Called for a coffee yesterday, ordered 2 late's. The coffee was weak and although hot, not much taste. Table wonkey, had to hold it or coffee would have spilled £7+ not good.

Went today and spent over 50 pounds of meals and drinks. The chips arrived rotten, black and hard. The fish was over cooked. We left it and told the man the chips were terrible. Our plates were still full of awful food. He said I will make them better next time! I do not recommend it here.

Came here with a thought of having a bite to eat. Initially, it seemed OK. Though closer observing not so much. Just ended up having hot drinks to take with us. The bathroom facilities were atrocious, and it seemed to me that chaps(of foreign origine) do not know how to clean at all. And although coffee was ok-ish, overly pricey-we paid £10 for 3 hot drinks altogether. I should've really asked how much to begin with. Whilst waiting for our drinks to cool down so that we can carry them with us, we sat outside and noticed that all the tables were rather wonky-we nearly ended up losing our drinks because of it. The surrounding area looked dirty and tired. Uninterested staff members with limited English language. Never going back!

Highly recommended. Food was great, chips really crispy. Lots of menu options. Got a big pot of tea for 2 & my mam got some extra hot water as she likes it weak. Staff were very friendly. Very clean & reasonably priced. Will definitely be calling in again next time we’re in Southport.

Diva Bistro-Fish Bar is a godsend. The staff are always friendly, helpful and the food is delicious and always hot. Quick service too. They do fantastic fresh fish and chips and other delicious food. The price is reasonable. Our favourite place in Southport. Looking forward to return back there in June 2024 for our lunch, tea and breakfast would recommend this place to anybody.

i came with my friends and the staff was great, i got a full english breakfast and it was great, i would defo come back. the staff were lovely, food came fast. it was overall great!

Came in with the family very nice atmosphere kind people. Had 2 large breakfasts and coffees very impressed will come again if I come back to Southport.

If you do one thing with your life keep clear of this place the food is so bad I could not eat any of it... The salt was all damp when I told the guy he put his finger in it and said it's OK!!! The food looked like it was cooked in a years old fat it was smelly dirty looking.. The staff look unclean and the smell of body odour was overwhelming.. I still feel a little sick even now hours after consuming it... Again do not risk your health I am reporting to food standards.. I make a lot of reviews and this is by far the most worrying place I have ever been too...DANGER TO HEALTH

Went with my friend as pre birthday treat as she loves sausage butties . Never been before but food was lovely , promptly served , deffo go again.

Nice restaurant with very polite and friendly staff. They offer smoothies and milkshakes too. I had full English which was great. There is sitting area outside too. I visited them only once but I’m sure I come again. Well done guys and keep up the good work!

The gosh and chips is not great I’m afraid. Probably one of the worst ones I’ve ever had. Very dry and hard batter.

I want to give 5* to that lovely young server with the purple hair she was absolutely lovely. And the chef made us some lovely food BUT this person who I think might be the manager is so rude to his staff. He kept telling the server to shut up in a really mean way and she wasn’t even talking loud at all And he just made us feel so uncomfortable. The lovely server who took our order and brought over the food was so lovely and she was so kind to my oldest child. She was very friendly despite her manager being very rude and mean to her. I really hope she leaves that job and goes else where because she is too good for that place imo I give 5 stars to the server and the chef who cooked our food. Not that awful manager Do better manager.

I’ve visited here a few times and there’s a good menu range. I tried the cooked breakfast this time & whilst it wasn’t the best one I’ve ever tasted, I wasn’t expecting it to be. It was delicious and didn’t have to wait too long. Absolutely love their hot chocolate plus!

The breakfast looked b..... awful when placed on the table. Toast had been cut in half and placed around the plate to create a fuller looking plate. I had a teaspoon of baked beans, a teaspoon of runny tomatoes, about 4 mushrooms, 2 sausage that did not taste like meat, an egg that had been turned over and appeared to have been sat in a tray, my bacon was very cooked and when I turned it over there were black parts from the burning on the other side. The best thing about the breakfast was the toast. Cost £6.95. Would I go there again!! what do you think?

If I could rate it less than one i would, these pictures dictate enough, the toilets were horrible, chips were undercooked, the wrap was microwaved as well as the cheese.

Ordered on just eat..full English never arrived, got cold toast & beans Baguette of sausage, bacon, mushroom & egg…got a soggy cold panini with fatty bacon, no sausage, cold egg…restaurant contacted, very unhelpful, waste of £14

Lovely food but staff don't listen to your order properly and stood around chatting while I tried to manoeuvre a high chair across the room.

One of the worst mistakes I could make was to eat here had to tell the man in the till four times what we wanted then they got it wrong food was junk at the best chips were dusgusting full of what I call grubs and won't start in the pie the sauce was supposed to be Heinz doubt it but nothing prepared me for what I saw next dirt built up in floor dust etc and old food never go there again just awfull

what a terrible choice we made all day breakfast was disgusting sure the bacon was off. would say near all was done in fryer full of grease. the childs scramble eggs was dry and they did not want to eat that says all . over priced.avoid.

Listen to the poor reviews ,they are spot on , also ask me to pay cash ,I asked for panni I got something with hot cranberry sauce and brie skin , asked the boss what it was which he then proceeded to ask the chef ,who got hold of it and throw it on the bin asking me so what do I want , 20.00 pound out of pocket meals left on table orange batter on fish was the last straw .Avoid there is a lovely chippy better near by .

Not the cleanest, food not that good either and not cheap as chips!

Upon entering the premises the first thing that happened I had to ask for the table to be cleaned.Went to the counter to place our order, the man behind the counter just ignored me and carried on loading the dishwasher.When he eventually asked for my order I was in the middle of telling him what I wanted when another customer took his food to the entrance of the doorway and said “should this have hash brown on it”. At this point the man serving me ignored me and went to listen to what was happening. He then very rudely said oh what was it you want. I finished giving my order and proceeded to pay (by card) when he asked me if I could pay cash, to this I replied I don’t have any cash. Reluctantly he let me use my card, he didn’t move the card machine and I had to ask for my receipt. Now to get to the food:Meat Pie, chips & gravy cost £5.25Toasted cheese sandwich £4.002 coffees £5.90 Total cost £15.15 amount charged £15.30The pie and chips looked very unappetising, toasted cheese sandwich was like rubber. On a plus side the coffee was palatable.I would not recommend this eatery.

Went to this place for breakfast… But left even hungrier than before. My friend, who was extremely starved asked for a nutritious ham and cheese toastie, she perished at the table when a soggy extra cheesey SANDWHICH with a depressing excuse for a salad was put in front of her. It looked like if a 5 year old made his own lunch. My other friend and I ordered the small breakfast, which came to the table suspiciously quickly, definitely not enough time to make a regular cooked breakfast. The sausages were weirdly pale and our tomatoes were a sloppy pathetic mess. It was a travesty that there were no hash browns. And to top it all off, the cutlery that we had to use wasn’t washed thoroughly and the forks had old food within the crevices, it looked like someone had used it to clean out their ears. I had to sit their and polish the cutlery myself before use. And even then they were still dirty. We were given one useless napkin. The table was wobbly and the fluorescent white lights have my friend a headache and nausea. But the bottled water was nice :)

We were lured into this restaurant after some fresh fish and chips and with the lovely music playing and spacious environment. So disappointed and have felt unwell since, have reported to environmental health. Fish batter was suspiciously orange, mushy peas after having to ask for them hot but with a definite darkened and hard crust. Got scraped off and couldn't stomach it. Open ashtray which had been used by the doorway inside the restaurant. This was clearly not used as a facility for customers but in fact staff. Children's play area stacked dangerously with stock, boxes and general detritus in a public facing area. Toilet facilities horrendous. Mould and grime everywhere, floor and walls filthy, open waste bin with used sanitary ware poking out. Sink disgusting, no plug hole so open to main plumbing that was leaking all over the U bend. Sink hole full of grime and mould, felt dirtier washing my hands on it than if I hadn't bothered. Ordered a milkshake, watched the server pick up a dry and withering banana from a display before replacing tjat and getting out a clearly half used banana from the fridge, watched her open it up and show a colleague all the black bits then proceed to use it anyway, breaking it up with unwashed ungloved hands. She even saw me screwing my face up whilst she did this and didn't bat an eyelid. Had observed her cleaning tables minutes before and not going anywhere to wash hands. Tables sticky, seats full of food detritus, saw seats on leaving that had black stains over yellow fabric, thick with dirt and just overall really disappointed that we chose to give this place custom. Like I have said, not one to complain and didn't get the impression that they were very attentive to customer service, food hygiene and general food expiry and safe storage. Reported to environmental health, dangerously dirty.

this cafe looks appealing with very colourful decor and seating but we were very disappointed with our visit...the food was not uptp our expectations and not impressed with getting our own condiments and utensils...the toilets were not clean and quite smelly...some upgrading necessary...staff need to be more friendly...

Nice small breakfast..clean..friendly staff.

Worst place I've ever eat at.. The smell in there was awful and there were flies everywhere. We were gutted we noticed this after we ordered and paid for our food. My friend got chips with a barm and couldn't eat it as the butter on the barm was full of bits from previous times they had used the butter. The fish and chips was so greasy. The toilets were unusable as they smelt so bad an were just in a terrible state. Would not recommend at all

Portions very small not enough chips on your plate

Shocking would be an understatement. On arrival we asked for a spray and wipe down on the highchair and table for covid reasons they weren't arsed, so we ended up doing it with babywipes. But the worse thing was when they brought out our toddlers meal, we discovered the chicken was still frozen solid in the middle! By the time it was re-fired our meals was cold. Barely an apology was made to us....definitely one to avoid in the future.

Discusting horrible food, do not waste your money. Went with my family today while on holiday, poor service and very over priced. Management did not want to know about our complaint

Brilliant fish tea, fish lovely with very thin crisp batter and beautiful home made chips, lovely and dry not greasy. Bill for 2 under 20 pounds.

I go to Divas Café at least once a week, the place is spot on. the Fish and chips are amazing, the service and is excellent and staff really friendly even when really busy. Defiantly worth a visit.

I went to diva fish bar with some friends for breakfast Yesterday, the restaurant was really busy and was surprised how quick the food came out.We only waited 15 minutes from our order being taken to the food being delivered on lovely hot plates.The breakfasts were more than big enough to satisfy my appetite and was very tasty indeed.I would highly recommend eating here and the caramel Latter was amazing too.I will definitely be back again to try one of the many dishes that are offered on the menu

I visited here last week with my wife and 2 kids for a meal, which was an excellent choice as it didn’t disappoint one bit. We ordered 2 fish and chips, and the very large serving of cod is easily the best in town for me. Accompanied with the quick services and charming staff, we had wonderful time, and can’t wait to visit again.

Not bad, good distancing but didn't want to take cards

Not very covid compliant. Had to go inside to order, bring out own bottles of water, salt vinegar etc. Didnt see any sanitiser. No track and trace visible though we did sit outside so don't know if its needed.Food was liken to that off a kids menu. I found the mushy peas verysweet.Wont go back again for a meal.

We had a lovely lunch here today with spotless tables, lovely staff. Later in the day we went bk for a cuppa I ordered 2 drinks inside and went to sit outside asked for a dirty table to be cleaned only to be told by a member of staff "we cant clean tables outside " so being in need of the drink me and my partner we managed to find a clean table With Covid around l think this rule about them not cleaning outside tables is atrocious so l wouldn't recommend Diva because if this is a rule on cleanliness what other rule is being broken there

Really good full English and very quick service

Although the service was quick the food was basic and we never saw anyone wipe a table down when they were emptied and no track and trace and only one sanitizer station.

Lovely Pleasant staff, clean and tidy, sterilised the table as customers left. Great food at a reasonable price. Will go again next time we are at Southport.

Had to eat outdoor because of corvid, but a first class fish and chips and a delicious batter best I had.
