We had a lovely Chicken Roast Dinner and the Sticky toffee pudding was to die for! The staff were also fabulous - very friendly x

The ONLY positive is the baubles were amazing. The food was slow to be served and tasted horrendous. Even simply cooked food like pasta wasn't cooked correctly , it was bland and clumped together. Only one meal out out of the 24 dishes was edible . The food was very over priced for what was served. We were asked to pre-order and even though they had the list in front of them they still didn't serve half the food so some people had meals and some had to wait even longer. When you quietly spoke to the manageress over the returned food and the bill she made a very loud big song and dance over it that was actually quite embarrassing. Even coming over to the table to continue her embarrassing carry on. We were looking forward to visiting here so much after all the hype but couldn't get out of there quick enough. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

Booked this restaurant purely because of the baubles and didn’t have high expectations, fortunately we had a fab experience. The cocktails were tasty. Food was great, we had duck sushi, duck spring rolls, scallops, beef sliders and squid. Once we ate all our food we did order another portion of squid which didn’t arrive but was on our bill, we mentioned this to our server and it was immediately taken off our bill.

Before I go any further, save yourself a journey.... Wow, terrible! Service is awful and messy no-one really knows whats going on. Waited a good length of time to even be seated as the lad hosting told us, he 'has no power to seat us'🙈 Food is average and expensive, Server didnt know what a peach bellini was (on menu) and it arrived in a wet, dirty glass. The general vibe is bad. We left after 20mins and no one even asked why, (unsurprisingly) The only positive is the ceiling, but even that's not enough to ever get me back. Waste of time.

Such a disappointing visit ! My daughter took us for a christmas treat and to celebrate my husband's retirement. We waited almost 20 minutes to place a drinks order,i ask specifically for a certain brand of tonic to go with my vodka,which i was assured they had. What i got was flat tonic from a large bottle so that had to be changed twice.I asked for the specific tonic again and was told they dont have it !! My daughter requested water which she got a large bottle of but no glass ! Another 10 minute wait to recieve the glass. A further 15 minutes for food orders to be taken an HOURS wait for the food to arrive ! When we asked about it we where told that the kitchen was busy !When it eventually arrived my grandaughter was given chicken instead of fish !(another wait) Squid was missing from my daughters order (another wait) The food was just basic pub food but not basic prices. The fire door was in constant use for the first 30 minutes of our visit until the manageress came and closed it and abruptly told the customer not to use it. That didnt stop them. We decided not to stay for dessert due to waiting times. My daughter requested that my drink be taken off the bill as this was promised by the serving member of staff. The manageress was yet again abrupt and demanded my drink back before any refund would be issued. She then changed her mind and refunded it anyway. My husband actually caught her talking about me and the stupid drink saga ! She was so unprofessional. We get it was christmas eve and busy but no warning of a wait on food was given otherwise we would have been prepared. The poor staff where running around like headless chicken,it looked like pure chaos. I have emailed the restaurant on 27th December but have had no reply.

I took my family here last night 23-12-24 for my gf’s birthday and it was just amazing, the staff are second to none, I’d arranged for our cake to be brought out and happy birthday was sang by all, I also proposed (she said yes😜) and the staff couldnt of been more helpful playing a special song when she said yes, just loved it. The food was boss, couldn’t fault the place, the decor was incredibly Christmassy which made our night even more special ❤️ I’d just like to wish all the staff a very Merry Christmas & a happy new year from my family 👌🏼🎅🏻🎄 xxx

Beautiful decorations on the ceiling. Having been here a few times before and had lovely experience I booked as I had family for Xmas.I have seen bad reviews but honestly didn't think anything of it, wish I had!!! Never will return ,totally ruined,limited menu to the point I couldn't order but that's on me.however can't even begin to describe how bad the service was and the owners really need to look at this as only for the fact there was 1 young lady who seemed to give a damn we would have left with ordering.i never ordered food due to the menu but that's my fault not theirs and thought that's ok il have a few cocktails but other than the 1 drink I never got offered again ,anyway the curry and chips i had on the way home was fab.

spent over an hour on hold trying to get our booking amended. no one ever answered the phone. food was poor , mine came lukewarm at best and also had a hair in it. staff are very inexperienced and never check on your tables.constantly being told things are/aren’t out of stock for another member of staff to come back a minute later saying the opposite to the first staff member. overall a very disappointing experience and won’t be returning

Poor service. Despite the high prices and small portions. They can't wait to get you out ... 3 staff clearing your table before you've even finished

Really excited to try this place after seeing pictures but really let down but food and service. Staff were nice but seemed inexperienced and food was basic and had plates missing from our order.

Best restaurant in Bootle by far . !!!!!!!

Very dissapointing, very hard to find as there's no signage. We booked and then we were told there's a delay with food because they were busy we waited over an hour for our food, surely if they know they're going to be busy with bookings which have been arranged months ago they should have more kitchen staff on. Food was average, nothing special. Staff were nice enough. But sadly won't be returning and won't be recommending. Also just for noting when we were leaving all the food for the restaurant had been delivered to the reception area of the tower block (tower block is like a housing estate) the food wasn't stored in a refrigerated area just left on reception. Surely from a food standards point of view this isnt acceptable.

Waited over an hour for food to then be told it was on the way/they had lost our ticket/sorry we are really busy tonight by different staff members. Very few vegetarian/vegan options. Half of the food arrived and then the rest 15 mins later. Food advertised as hot on the menu (and on the receipt) came out cold. Management didn't want to know about it when we asked to speak to them and then gave attitude when we did finally manage to get their attention. Second manager approached our table at the end of the evening and had a really bad snotty attitude. Waiters/waitresses are very young and inexperienced in customer service and serving tables. Music blasting too loud to be able to speak to each other. Toilets not clean or serviced as there was no tissue. Again staff didn't want to know about it when advised of this. Don't waste your time of money. The only good thing about this place was the Christmas baubles. Be careful of parking, pay for 2 hours more than you think you'll be here because of the delays waiting for your food.

Have booked a Christmas works evening outing for 18th December. Tried for 3 days to contact the restaurant to see if deposit was required. The phone just played music and was not answered. Emailed the bar and grill still no response so decided to call in confirm. Was there for a total of 9 minutes and have now received a parking fine for £ 60. Am disappointed that due to be unable to contact the restaurant I have had to make a visit and been charged £ 60 for the pleasure.

We were running late so called up to say we were running late but we're just parking up. Once we got to the restauraunt they had already given our table away so we had to stand waiting for around 20 mins Got seated on a nice table with plenty of room but ended up waiting over an hour for our food because they had forgotten us. Service was slow but the waiters were doing their best I believe. Once the food arrived it was so late we ate it quickly to ensure we didn't run over on the parking as we only bought 2hrs. Some of the food was tasty but you would expect more for the price. £10 chicken tapas sushi had less than a 50p size amount of meat in I don't usually write reviews but this was just a frustrating experience all in all. Seems a lot of confusion between the kitchen and floor staff.

Absolutely awful food. When we said we didn’t like it and it was wa clearly left on the plate, the waiters acted very condescending saying she can’t do anything and “in the next place, you need to say way ahead and not at the end”. Don’t come here, there are other better places

Tried contacting through numerous channels only to be ignored. No email, don’t answer the phone nor does the contact function on the website work. Keeping it short and sweet. - 2 members of our group suffered from food poisoning as they had the same food. - Food is not fresh and you get hardly anything. We had the Fish & Chips and the fish was that soggy it could have slid off the plate. - Service was slow. - Food is very expensive for what it is. Please take the negative reviews into consideration as they are true before you consider eating here. We ended up spending £380+ as a group and we were all not pleased with what we got and we left still hungry.

Hard to contact anyone as they do not answer the phone or reply to messages. Only after you book and pay your deposit do they request you choose your meals from the limited menu ,2 days before your eating. How are you suppose to know what you will fancy eating 2 days later. My first impressions are not very good at all and I would not book here again.

Went on a November Saturday evening. Absolutely stunning with the ceiling full of baubles for the festive period. Food was delicious..we had the steak and the fish and chips..all cooked perfectly. The puddings we chose were the sundae and the sticky toffee pudding which I have to say was one of the best I have ever eaten. The service was great..very attentive and helpful. Prices were resonable with it coming at £120 for 2 people. The outside terrace is such a hidden gem with city views..we will definitely be back in summer to take full advantage. The only let down was unfortunately the toilets. The ladies was out of order so I had to use disabled...which had water and tissue all over the floor. I think an hourly check would be beneficial. So for this i have to score it a 4/5. Worth the visit for the baubles alone.

One hell of a view matched only by the service and food

I gave this place 1 star some time ago, we was 8 minutes late due to traffic and the restaurant was half full but they still wouldn't let us sit. We gave it one more go, mainly the wife really wanted to see the decorations. Started ok and the starters was good. The main seemed to have an issue the servers tried bringing us a bill 3 times not long after we ordered mains, not sure if this is the reason why the mains was poorly cooked or not. But the duck should be called well done crispy duck. Not duck, shrimp was cold which was a shame spending £10 on 4 cold shrimp and some crumbs of chorizo was annoying. Deserts was terrible. It would help if they gave descriptions rather than brownie, put dry brownie with lots of nuts. In all there was some good the atmosphere was ok. It was £118 and felt more like a mediocre pub lunch that should have been more like £40. Really disappointed unfortunately.

First visit to 14 Bar & Grill For me.. chicken roast For her.. beef roast. I did complain about the size of my meal due to the fact an instagramer was on the next table taking photos of his chicken roast that looked nothing like mine.. The food was okay.. Gravy was nice.. Chicken was moist.. Decorations are fantastic, view is amazing. Parking is not free, no concession for disabled users, the restaurant used to sign you in, if you're using the restaurant, but no longer do this. Cost £51.

Breakfast with Santa was really good, daughter loved it and Santa was hilarious. Food was great and staff were brilliant. Especially Michelle.

Had the best time at Bar 14 yesterday, staff so friendly food amazing

Went here for my daughter's birthday no problem with the restaurant the decor & food were amazing. Small language issues upon taking orders but nothing major. Unfortunately a week later and my husband, and relatives have all received £100 car parking fines through the post even though we all paid using the pay and display machine outside (Tickets to prove) . Obviously this is resolvable after we appeal but what an inconvenience and certainly off putting as there is no other parking available around there.

Visited here for a family birthday celebration as part of a group of 13 people. The place is just amazing inside, with fantastic views and a great outdoor area for when the weather is nice. The food, atmosphere, staff were all exceptional too. Food all served at same time, which is not as easy as you'd think for a large group. The staff were charming, happy and couldn't do enough to make our night memorable for all the right reasons. All in all, it was a brilliant night and I would highly recommend and will definitely be going back for our next special occasion.

**HAVE TO ADD RE PARKING! We received a fine for £100 a few days after parking at 14 Bar &Grill Car Park!! We paid the amount shown on the machine, which btw was in darkness no lights shown. My son used the torch on his phone to help his Dad see the machine , it was pouring with rain and as I am disabled I waited by the car on my mobility scooter. The machine required £2 fee which my husband paid and received a receipt from the machine.. Naturally we thought we had complied with the parking rules. I have a Blue Badge but noted that there was no discount for this but this was no problem at all for us. .we expected to pay whatever the rate was. It took less than 5 minutes to get my scooter dismantled and into the boot of the car. The fine seems to not allow those few minutes and therefore charges into the next timeslot which costs a further £1 . Obviously we would have been perfectly prepared to pay the extra pound had it been requested at the machine . Any other car parks allow 5 to 10 minutes to get passengers, parcels etc on board and to leave the car park. This company insist that any appeal process is ended and will not recognise the ombudsman! To be honest, in our opinion this does seem like a very lucrative scam! Beware of ever parking there! Arrived at the car park and as we were unloading my mobility scooter a member of staff asked if we were there for rooftop restaurant. He said he would have someone meet us on the 13th floor , which is where the lift stops, and there are a few steps up to the 14th floor.When we got to 13th floor a man met us and I transferred to an accessible lift to the next floor. Well done 14th Bar and Grill.🌟 I had indicated on the reservation that our party of 7 people where here to celebrate my granddaughter's Birthday plus my son's passing his driving test. Our waitress discreetly asked me which guests were celebrating . Unfortunately the roasts were all gone by our 5.30pm booking. Although everyone enjoyed the meals they'd ordered e.g. Thai green curry, fish and chips and steak and chips. On serving the desserts congratulations music started and waitresses appeared with two plates of chocolate cake with candles lit. One for my granddaughter and one for my son , which we had not expected. Thank you 🌟 Although the restaurant was very busy with lots of tables celebrating a variety of events we were well looked after by a friendly team of staff. ,,🌟 The ceiling lights make for a lovely atmosphere 🌟 The surrounding balcony gives great views over Liverpool (our couple of smokers appreciated the outdoor space ) and as darkness fell the view changed to a city of lights. It makes for a great place to bring any visitors to Liverpool.🌟 We really enjoyed our time , the bill for 7 of us for both food and drinks (plus the two desserts that were boxed to take home) was just over £300 ,🌟 and upon leaving I noticed a member of staff being asked to go to the accessible lift to meet me with my mobility scooter. So nice not to have to ask for help.🌟 These are the things that mattered to us on the night and it was agreed that we will return for the weeks leading up to Christmas. I hope this review helps others decide on visiting 14 Bar and Grill.. Btw....the coffee is also very, very good. 🌟.. SEE EDIT ABOVE! WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING!

Great food and amazing atmosphere

I went to this restaurant for the first time with my partner and I couldn’t get over how beautiful the place was. The lights throughout the restaurant were absolutely stunning and the food was amazing too. The staff are so kind and lovely and had a great presence about them. We had a couple of different servers but we mainly spoke to Michelle who is just such a wonderful person who took care of us and opened the door for us to experience the view it had to offer. We went as the sun was setting and the view of Liverpool was incredible. Coincidentally there were fireworks going off in the distance and it was a perfect evening. Overall I really recommend coming here for the atmosphere, service and food with a view!

Great restaurant, food is lovely and cater for big groups! There was 31 of us celebrating my nans 80th. Although there was a bit of a mix up when we first arrived over the order but was resolved quick enough and everyone enjoyed their time here. Would definitely recommend and will be returning in the future 🙂

Fabulous evening at 14. The staff there are just THE BEST..Especially Michelle! Great waitress whose smile lights up the restaurant. Our only suggestion for improvement is to lower the lights a little..soften the glare.. Thanks to all the staff..we had a really great night. 👍🍾🥂🎉

I absolutely loved visiting this place, the staff were so lovely as was the food! We were served by a lovely lady called Michelle, she was so accommodating and made sure my little boy was taken care of bringing him colouring things and checking he was ok throughout, interacting with him in such a lovely way it made a whole lot of difference to me personally as I don’t usually experience that when we eat out. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, decor was outstanding the place was lit up all across the ceiling it was just beautiful. Me and my partner ordered steaks and they were cooked to perfection and larger than I had expected, we also got a side of broccoli with salt and chilli on.. never will I eat broccoli any other way! Delicious! The Whole experience was just perfect. We will definitely be returning, my four year old is already asking to go again!

This could be a really good experience. The views are really good. Food average at best. Service disorganized and poor. Brought food. No plates to eat off. Had to ask three times. Big dessert spoon for Sundae so could get to the bottom of the dish.

Fabulous place , took mum for her 80th , food was amazing , a little expensive but worth every penny , staff were second to none , so friendly and helpful , nothing was too much trouble , have every intention in visiting this place again , hopefully they do Christmas dinner !

From start to finish we could not fault this restaurant, all of the staff were excellent and welcoming. Compliments to the chef as the food exceeded our expectations. Everything was first class.

What can I say about this lovely place. I have just got home from a delightful lunch with my mum, aunt and friend. It was a birthday lunch but we didn’t book it as such. I am gluten intolerant so was a bit worried that I wouldn’t be catered for. My word was I wrong. We were greeted by a lovely lady who showed us to our table and gave us all the relevant menus. We opted for the sandwich lunch. We all had club sandwich. Mine was delicious and as some of you will know gluten free bread isn’t the nicest but my food was so well prepared and presented, it was really lovely. One of the girls who was looking after us must have overheard us saying it was my friends birthday because she was presented with cake and a candle and recieved a round of applause. I don’t know about you but it’s this extra effort that makes all the difference, you know the extras that they don’t have to do. I have been here a few times for Sunday lunch which is mouth watering and today I was not disappointed. Everyone in my party wants to return with other friends. If you are considering this lovely place for a meal just do it! It’s truly a fabulous place and the added bonus is uninterrupted views of the whole of Liverpool and the Mersey. The people who look after you are amazing, nothing is too much trouble and I don’t think you will find friendlier people. Fantastic!

Just feel like it was a bit overpriced for small plates. My friends burger was burnt and it took the staff a while to come over for us to pay and even longer to get the card machine.

Travellwd 200 miles for a family birthday we had all been looking forward to for so long. Turned out we were all badly left down by this absurd place. No point having a nice view if you can't serve starters in under 2 hours. Looked like they were in meltdown. Oh and you have to pay for parking which could cost quite a bit considering how long people were waiting for food. Strongly advise you don't book here.

To give a balanced review I must say that I have never experienced what occurred last night at this restaurant before. Usually the food and service are good. However, last night was diabolical, embarrassing for all involved including customers. I booked for my 50th birthday 2 months ahead for 16 people. I wasn’t asked for a pre-order and I checked with them only to be advised they could handle this number on the night. Sadly, this was not the case. My party waited for 2 hours from ordering until I asked to speak to the manager. In the wait time we had queried was there an issue as time crept along. No one approached any of the diners to advise what the problem was. Other diners, who arrived earlier than us, had waited 3hours for food only to send the under cooked food back. For us, I asked the manager for an update and he said they were trying their best! Excuses ranged from only having 1 fryer on and there were a lot of people to serve. I asked why did they turn down the offer for pre-orders then, why were basic elements of the menu not available (hummus) and he didn’t offer a valid reason only said he would check the kitchen. I explained that my party were ready to leave now and gave him 10minutes to return with an ETA on food. He didn’t come back and we left. Other diners followed and 1 diner was given her burger wrapped in tin foil by a server! I would no longer recommend this place and it’s a shame as the views of Liverpool are beautiful.

What a jem of restaurant hidden in block of flats well worth a vist food is brill and service very fast view is great if having a drink outside you can see how close anfield is to everton football club came 3months ago with friends good time had by all and not over dear 😀 do try it Derek H 🚘🇬🇧😎

Just had a terrible experience. We sat down at 6.00pm and still hadn’t been fed by 8.00pm with no explanation so left.

What a fantastic surprise. Lived and worked in Bootle and never knew this place existed. Just off stanley road lies this exquisite dining, drinking place on the 14th floor. Food is lovely, served with a laugh and a joke. Beautiful, decor, and views to die for. Full panoramic view of Liverpool and all the surrounding areas. Well worth a visit to eat and or drink. Don't forget to bring your camera and binoculars. Enjoy.

Fantastic place staff brilliant and welcoming. The food absolutely gorgeous my husband loved the little chip fryer which my chips were served in. The view from the restaurant was fantastic were I sat I could see the 2 cathedrals.

Went for Sunday lunch which was great value for money. Service was good, there was a young male member of the front of the house team who was fantastic. Unfortunately, we didn't get his name, but his service was excellent . Decor and Views over Liverpool are amazing and is definatly worth a visit for that alone. Will definitely be returning .

We here for the second time. First time was last year we sat on the terrace and had a Sunday roast! Absolutely amazing but you do need to book in advance but definitely worth trying. Our second visit was for my daughter’s 14th birthday. They made a real fuss is her and the food is absolutely amazing. A small menu but a lot of different dishes to try. The views are amazing you can see right across Liverpool.

We spent a splendid afternoon at Bar 14 for our Golden Wedding Anniversary, couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate. We were overwhelmed by the kindness and thoughtfulness from the staff, a huge warm welcome, as usual, from Michelle, a surprise of Proseco, cake and a beautiful card from all the staff, thank you Bar 14 for making our day so special, Michelle..you're an absolute star 🌟, see you soon xx 💖

I went with the fillet steak which I’m pretty sure wasn’t a fillet steak. The steak came out with no peppercorn sauce (on the menu it says peppercorn sauce) I asked twice for the sauce and waited around 5mins for it to be served by that point my food was going cold. The peppercorn sauce was swimming in oil and didn’t look or taste nice at all. I asked for my steak to be done medium it came out well done, I told the waiter and he didn’t really know what to say or do. Another member of staff came over, gave no apology or anything and just said another steak is it in its way. The majority of staff are quite young and don’t seem to be have been given enough training on customer service as they didn’t know what to say or do. It’s a shame as the view at the top is nice but if you’re gonna charge the same as miller and carter for a steak I expect it to be at least on par with them.

1st time there.we where impressed by the decore.staff/ service/ food amazing.i ordered a salmon.i thought it was a wedge of salmon.it was raw.lady in charge Michelle had no problem changing my order to chicken and spaghetti.they couldn't do enough for us...we will be going back again.....plus the view was amazing a shame that yesterday is not like today warm and sunny ☀️.xx

Food was horrendous. The decor and setting is great. Staff were friendly but clearly all young and inexperienced servers The drinks were nice The food was absolutely horrendous. We got the Torn breads starter. Came with olive oil and balsamic, except it wasn’t olive oil it was just vegetable oil, and the balsamic was balsamic dressing not balsamic vinegar. And the red pepper dip was just mayo with paprika in it. I had the sushi platter for main. The sushi was absolutely awful. Half of it was beef sushi, tasted horrendous and the wasabi was the cheap stuff you can find in a tube in Aldi. I barely ate it. When they are asking premium prices for food, you expect the food to be decent. Thankfully we complained and they took the sushi off the bill. Seems to be an instagram place that’s good to take pictures but not actually a good to eat there.

The only thing this place has going for it is the view menu below par and expensive beware of the car park !! 15 mins over the ticket time (busy spending money in their establishment) and got a £60 fine!! disgraceful having a pay and display in a restaurant to catch people out AVOID

Had a wonderful time in this lovely restaurant in Bootle, I am still buzzing from the view. The staff were great and the food was too. We had sushi (sexy salmon and bang bang chicken) and a sea bass and a fish and fries all were delicious. I had a lovely grapefruit and gin cocktail and my husband said the wine was good. All in all a real treat.

Eaten here twice now. The food is absolutely horrendous. Such a shame because it is a fantastic setting , staff are lovely. The chef is only partly to blame as the quality of the produce is also horrendous , coming from a catering back ground i would suggest the owners have a complete rethink of the menu and there suppliers. This place could be amazing. Front of house are absolutely fantastic

Food small portions for cost, but taste beautiful. Prawns are fantastic. Views great looking over the north of the city. See town, football grounds and towards Wales. Service cert friendly. Definitely recommend to anyone, especially at Christmas time.

Rather dissappointed with it, the service was so bad, started out well and then plumented after starters. We asked for truffle fries with 4 burgers, got 2 with normal fries and 1 with parmesan cheese, didnt get 4th burger till we had all finished, then they delivered some more parmesan cheese fries. Sticky toffee pudding was not sticky, it was so dry. Wont be rushing back ☹️

Lunch with a group of colleagues for a retirement. Food was nice, staff were excellent and very friendly. They brought our retiring colleague a small cake (not arranged by us) and took photos for us.

Was brillant first time today on 14th April food was loverly but the service by Michelle think she was manager was outstanding and the loverly young lady Alex behind the bar making us perfect stunning cocktails...deffo a must try if not been there but massive shout out to Michelle she was such a brillant stunning hostess would return just for her quality of service and amazing attitude towards life xx thanks Michelle and team xxx

What a superb place! It's at the top of a flat block in Bootle, not a lot around there, so you'll only be visiting here. Food's excellent, atmosphere is superb with it being a roof restaurant. Parking is limited around there. There's a parking area around the corner, pay and display, and an ncp 5 mins walk away max. So get there early. I visited in spring, still cold. In summer, there's also a sun deck so very much want to see that!

A very nice place with fabulous views. A most enjoyable meal too. The staff were friendly and nothing was a trouble. The Sunday roast was tasty.

We went to 14 Bar & Grill on Sunday. The restaurant and views were amazing. There was a live singer playing a guitar which was lovely background music. The staff were attentive and very helpful going through the gluten free options. I had the roast beef Sunday dinner which was very good. My daughter had the child version which wasn't much smaller than mine plus included an ice cream for £10. My husband had the sea bass which he enjoyed although he would get something to go with it next time. I've knocked a star off as the female toilets were out of order and I couldn't get the disabled toilet to flush, but it wouldn't put me off going again. Hint: if you give the receptionist your car reg you don't have to buy a car parking ticket.

I chose this restaurant for my dad's 60th birthday with the family. I was debating changing it after reading the reviews, but SO glad I didn't. It's in a strange location, not the nicest part of Liverpool on the top floor of a very average looking block of flats, but once inside its a little oasis. There is a pay and display car park outside, but if you give your registration to reception in the way in parking is free! Lift up to the 13th floor then a small flight of stairs and you enter this stunning venue. We were warmly greeted and shown to our table, the menu was explained and the staff made a fuss of the children in the group. The views were stunning and we were able to go outside to admire them. It was a bright but cold day and it got very warm inside with the sun beating in. I was glad to see that we weren't limited to a roast with it being a Sunday, but could also choose from the small plates and large dishes although 3 or 4 dishes weren't available. The menu was different from the one one on the website so best not to get your hopes up in advance. All the food was beautiful. The kids roast dinner was enormous, pork belly on the surf n turf was so succulent, and the Thai fish cakes and salt and pepper calamari were delicious. Service was amazing. Not overbearing, but everyone was so happy and helpful, especially the young man who's first day it was. The cocktails are also worth a mention, we sampled a few to check! All in all I'd definitely return, especially in the nicer weather with the benefit of being able to sit outside. Beautiful food, great service and stunning venue. We definitely were not disappointed.

We are a family of 4 adults and 2 children, we had a wonderful meal here last Sunday 25/02/24. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Food is tasty. Views are lovely. We were celebrating a birthday and were so glad we chose 14 bar and grill 😁

I was so excited to try this bar and grill, the christmas decor is stunning 😍 however, the evening else was pretty much a fail. We arrived on time and waited 30 minutes to be seated, not a problem. When seated we made a drinks order while we looked at the menu. Staff came to take food order and asked if we had ordered drinks which we had so she went off with our food order. We waited 45 minutes and still no drinks, walked over to the bar and they apologised and got someone to make our drinks, 5 minutes our drinks finally arrived with the food. My margarita was disgusting, the salt had all slipped off the rim and into the glass it was like drinking sea water. The food "looked" ok, although after eating it this was not to be the case with the duck, it was the worst duck I have ever had in my life it was dry and hard and like sawdust and as you can see the photo it looks like it! The sushi was actually quite nice as was the chilli chicken. The hummus was also not nice. The chops were ok but only got 2 for i think £14 so not really worth it. We also ordered fries which did not arrive, when questioned the staff she said it wasnt on the order. Sadly we were very disappointed, didnt want to bother trying anything else off the menu or any more drinks, we left still hungry, joked about getting a maccies on the way home!

We have been here many times as a family and always have a fantastic experience . Lovely restaurant with the best service Michelle and carol always look after us and keep the kids entertained. We will return :-) x x

Delicious food (highly recommend the beef butty), an incredible panoramic view of Liverpool, and some of the nicest staff I've ever encountered. A must visit spot!

I was there on Saturday night with my girlfriend and we had some cocktails, I had an espresso martini and my girlfriend had a peach of the beach and we both loved the cocktails. so we will definitely come back , many thanks everything was gorgeous ..

Amazing food, all fresh hot and tasty. Our first time here and we opted for lots of small dishes between us and we were very impressed with everything. Will definitely be going back soon
