Great place to eat. Staff always friendly and helpful. Shows how good it is we went at 7pm and it was absolutely chocker. Still really good service ( no parsnips tho).

Friendly service and good value carvery with all you can eat on everything except the meat.

Visited for a Monday lunch time carvery. The staff were all very friendly, the food was hot and there was plenty of it. I liked that the carvery is served with 2 x Cumberland sausages and a large single Yorkshire pudding (add the yorkie pud to the plate yourself) There’s also a large pot on the hot plate that contains ‘crackling’ that you also help yourself to. The restaurant was clean, suitably decorated and comfortable.

Great little place for brekky or a roast, some can have part cooked bacon but this was great.

On Saturday 5th April Grand National Day I was running late with my intended booking and when I arrived fully expecting to be turned away, However on arrival I was met by two lovely ladies who asked if they could help as I looked a bit stressed I explained the late situation and they calmly said give us 2 mins then almost immediately they checked my information and politely took to a free table.We then preceded to make our way to the buffet breakfast and enjoyed a most enjoyable breakfast prior to the race thanks go to the kind ladies on the check in who helped me and my wife and daughter along with other staff who checked on our every need first class food and service

We had a nice meal at this Toby. We stood waiting to be seated for a while but it wasn't very busy mid afternoon when we arrived. The chef serving us was pleasant. Food was tasty and serving size was good.

You guys fitted us in quickly before closing. You apologized that we would not have the best range of choice because of the time. Well...you undersold a great meal... We love Tobys when we are in the UK as the food is consistently good with loads of VEGGIES 💕💕 Thankyou for your prompt service and seating is so late.

Table was pre booked and ready for us when we arrived. Service was quick and staff were friendly. Small queue waiting in line for carvery but soon cleared. Plenty of choice for food and it was all tasty. Gravy didn't disappoint, lovely. Overall, a grest vidit

Had breakfast with the boy's from work, had laugh. Paid just under £8 for all you can eat breakfast and refill drinks can't complain value for money, we're coming back. Yeah would recommend for breakfast 👍🏻

Enjoyed a lovely breakfast to be greeted by the lovely Theresa who has rejoined the team. She never fails to make our experience and we even started going to ainsdale for a carvery as we enjoy he company and service. It was very busy as usual but again nothing was too much for here. There was a big queue at the drinks machine and she offered to fill our drinks at the bar and bring them to our table. Food was great and got there just in time as the deck was replenished with fresh food which was really nice. Will definitely be back especially now Theresa has rejoined the team!

Great food, friendly staff, Teresa was amazing, and a warm atmosphere. The carvery was well-stocked with perfectly cooked meats and fresh eggs. Service was quick, and the team made sure everything was spot on. A solid choice for a hearty breakfast.

Highly Recomend this Carvery! The atmosphere is amazing , suprizes and Events! ( every Holidays different decorations like Christmas and Haloween) Service vize Staff always helping creating special moments ( for example birthday) they are friendly and always gonna do everything to have great time ! Food - lot of options to chose from! Starting Breakfast and after Carvery! Great quality fresh and Delicous! For people who are vegetarians or Vegans kitchen staff always ready to prepare something just for you ( ex. Coli flower without chease, steamed potatos) REMEMBER ! This Carvery sometimes REALLY BUSY! Waiting times to have food or get tables can take some time! Be patience and respectful to Staff and make their job easier they always do the best ! Thank you! Parking was easy, pub was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Service was a little slow due to time of day. We chose from the set menu. The starters were poor, not good value for the money, the best part was the cucumber curls - the dressing on mine! I had a carvery and my partner had the salmon in pastry. the meat at the carvery was lovely. The salmon was barely visible in the pastry. The pastry was layered too thick, and was around 5 inches thick, swamping the small amount of salmon. As a consequence it was very dry, barely edible. The vegetables and potatoes looked like they had been under the lights too long, the top of each option was dry and discoloured, not appetizing at all. All of the vegetables were lukewarm at best. It was very disappointing and I would not recommend eating here to anyone. Although plenty of staff were on duty, for the most part they were deep in conversation and we had to go to them to get their attention and service.

Long wait at door but only 6 people sitting down, plus didn't know if blue light card was accepted but was in the end.

My visit to the Toby went well, there was plenty of choice at the carvery unfortunately when I returned to my seat to enjoy my dinner my dinner was cold. the queue at the carvery was rather large by now I am disabled and not able to queue twice, it put a dampener on the night, the dinner was half price however the drinks were not.

The ladies from church go regularly as a group but I also go with me mum and/or friends. Absolutely love the carvery it’s great value for money

Took the family out for dinner. They normally come to our house every Thursday. 7 adults and an infant. Food was lovely atmosphere was lovely. Queue was quite long. To me that is a good sign. Value for money..excellent.

Awful experience, paid for breakfast ended up with bacon on toast and a coffee because items not available, eggs in particular. Never again.

The service has gone downhill here the last few times we've been. Tonight for example when the waitress for our section finally appeared we placed an order for deserts, over 30 minutes later still no deserts yet 2 tables of people who ordered after us had had theirs and finished them. Used to regularly come to Toby Aintree, don't think we will be for a long time, would rather travel further afield to another Toby.

My Sisters and I have had a meal tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was great great at.osphere and the staff are so lovely. I would like to give an extra mention about Theresa ( Assistant Manager) who has been so amazing. Hannah the Lady who was serving us was also lovely. I will definitely be back

What a place to be, Picked up a breakfast to take away and it was prepared & served by a cracking bloke - Jack. Jack was so welcoming, polite and humble when I picked up my order and he even explained how he managed to put everything into the breakfast - which shows how he genuinely puts in the extra mile into his work with that sense of personal pride. I was made up and it’s made me realise that I will definitely be returning here again. Cracking place with brilliant and lively people.

Been here quite a few times now and to be honest it’s time to move on to elsewhere the standard of the food and the quality just goes down and down and todays carvery was absolutely awful 😡

We come to the Aintree Toby carvery 2-4 times a month and we are always welcomed by a friendly member of staff, especially Hannah and Teresa. The food is always great and clean and tidy.

Food was OK not very consistent and had no Yorkshire puddings Carvery with no Yorkshire puddings Hmmmm!

This was my second time this week I have been to Toby Carvery and the older lady who showed us to our table was very rude. Food and other staff members are nice. I think the older lady needs to cheer up.

A busy and popular restaurant, had a very nice meal here with family. Staff were very friendly and really helpful. Service brilliant and asked regularly if everything was okay with our orders. Don't know if it's post Christmas but great to have parsnips and red cabbage in the line up. Still not sure why there's also mac and cheese! Had turkey and gammon which were both lovely though the beef and pork looked good too...I don't like a lot of fat and none of the meats looked fatty at all.
