Great friendly service with traditional service and style. Warm welcome when entering. Service was quick. Order 4 breakfast baps and hot drinks. Got the food for the price of coffees at chain cafes. I found a decent price for cooked to order rather than the buffet style at hotel. Far nicer.

Popped in before visiting the museum, very limited number of sandwiches although a nice setting and certainly ok if you just need a drink.

Excellent quality ingredients. We had a bacon roll and a sausage and bacon roll with an extra hash brown which we added on top on the roll. Crispy bacon, perfectly cooked sausage on a crusty roll. Have been back to the train station since just for this. Latte was ok too.

It's just like going greggs are they hot ye but really just warm well nearly cold never again

Had an amazing experience at Anderton Pub! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was top-notch. A special shoutout to the bar staff, Cat and Tom, who were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure our drinks were always topped up with a smile. The food was outstanding—huge thanks to Chefs Tom and Conner for serving up delicious, perfectly cooked meals. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. We booked here for New Years Day as a treat with family. I had booked for afternoon tea and when we arrived we were told they were only serving a set menu. We explained the situation and the gentleman serving us spoke to the chef and they agreed to make the festive afternoon tea for us. We waited a little while as everything was made fresh and when it was arrived it was all beautiful! Fresh sandwiches with plenty of filling, warm scones straight from the oven and a selection of yummy cakes. The staff were all attentive without being intrusive and nothing was too much trouble. What a was to great start 2025! A lovely experience from start to finish. We live in the village and we definitely be back. Thanks to the chef and all of the team at the walled garden.

Great food and excellent service. Food cooked to order , staff were excellent nothing to much trouble. Before we ordered we were advised , that there may be a slight delay and to larger group had ordered before us. With this in mind our food came quickly .
