Great evening with friends. 🥰 My Pimped up Mac & Cheese was delicious! Thanks to all staff, especially Meg tonight. Super attentive and literally didn’t stop, from the minute we walked in. ☺️

I’ve been here before and it’s still as good as it was then. Great friendly service, me and my parents were looked after and the food was delicious. Will definitely be going back!

Had a lovely Sunday roast .The staff were pleasant and really attentive.

Went on a Wednesday afternoon, food was delicious and decent portions. Staff were excellent.

I went for an impromptu tea date with a friend and I ordered surf and turf. I ordered the steak medium rare and it was amazing. I genuinely couldn't have asked for it to be better. Thank chefs James and Tracy.

Despite being really busy service was excellent and the staff are really friendly. Sam, Megan and Ryan as servers were great and the kitchen staff James and Tracy were clearly working hard and food was yummy

We have been to the Anderton Arms a few times and had very enjoyable meals. Yesterday wasn't that brilliant, we arrived three of us for lunch, my partner ordered a starter and once he had finished it we were still sat there 35 mins later waiting for our mains. My partner went to the bar and asked the lady, she did say they had a group of people at the other side who they were trying to get food out for but would check what was happening with ours, 10 mins later it arrived. We all had peas which were hard. And to top it off, this wasn't the pubs fault. There was a guy sat near us chatting very loudly on his mobile about spread sheets and stuff all through our meal, you don't want this when you go out for a nice lunch.

We went for lunch today and using a 40% off mains voucher. The food and service was exceptional as always. Samantha and Tom were extremely attentive and friendly and brought our drinks to the table. The chefs tom and Connor cooked the food to perfection and my steak was perfectly rare.

Had an absolutely wonderful late lunch with my family, it couldn’t have been more perfect. I was served very quickly and everyone behind the bar were extremely polite and welcoming. The food was served quickly and was absolutely delicious, quite possibly one of the best steak sandwiches I have ever eaten! The steak was cooked to perfection and the portion sizes were massive! My mum asked for the fish to be lightly battered and she said it was delicious. Would absolutely recommend the Anderton Arms and will definitely be going back.

It was fantastic to have a family meal here tonight. The food was wonderful and the staff even better, Rhiana and Andy in particular created a lovely atmosphere and even a few laughs. We have eaten here a few times and will definitely come back.

Went in on Monday evening for food with a friend for a catch up and had such a great experience starting with Andy behind the bar instantly putting a smile to our face and making us laugh so much we couldn’t speak, to the lovely atmosphere around the pub, and finishing off with amazing food. I’m super fussy with food too and they managed to completely full fill all of my requests. Anderton is somewhere I wish o could visit more often but just far away personally for me. But it’s a lovely treat when I do get to go , thank you all the team

Chefs (Tanya bran and Tom) made some absolutely delicious food, serving staff (Andi Tom) were lovely and helpful as well.

Excellent curry night (Wednesday) on this occasion, wonderful Beef madras curry with pilau rice, bombay potatoes, vegetable samosa, poppadoms with chutneys and chicken tika masala with pilau rice. Superb well worth a visit. Excellent service and staff exemplary 5 stars plus +++++. Sorry forgot to take pictures of the food, just didn't have the time to stop and not continue to eat the delicious curry. £32 great value for the meals, can't fault it. We'll worth popping into the Anderton Arms any night and at any season.

Pass this place loads of times, After looking for somewhere different to eat Thought we'd give a visit. Got to say food was piping hot,and was bang on. Mrs had beef and I the duo with a side of cauliflower cheese. Both enjoyed it. Place was nice and staff were friendly. Will visit again Thanks

Firstly we chose off the menu to then be told when ordering that part of the menu isn’t served on bank holidays although that is not stated on the page of the menu. We ordered steaks and both were full of fat and the 1 mushroom on both dishes was burnt. Definitely not worth the price.

Came here with my family for a breakfast and catch up after soo long. The morning staff were very rude and unhelpful. Kat you need to work on your people skills.

A memorable lunch at the Anderton Arms Fulwood due to Samantha who went out of her way to try to order an omelette (not on the menu) for my friend who had recently had a stomach operation. The chefs, James and Tracy cooked her a delicious omelette. Samantha was friendly and a pleasure to meet. Also our food was delicious. What a lovely pub to visit with such a happy relaxed atmosphere.

Came in on a Saturday night for a few drinks while the mother in law was visiting. Great atmosphere, and Sam and Cat behind the bar were spot on. Everything seemed to be done with a smile and the general service was great. I’ll be visiting again.

Hubby and myself had a meal here this evening and wow not disappointed at all. Food was amazing, I had Tandoori skewers and he had mixed grill and his was loaded, said it is one of the best he has ever had. Staff very friendly and helpful. Thank you 😊

I have been here a couple of times an each time I can't say I enjoyed the food my friend also with me didn't enjoy there meal either the chicken was tastless the dessert was OK but the plate it came was cold would have been better if it had been warmed a bit

Family meal on a Monday night, service was amazing from Tom and cat, both very chatty and friendly. Food was amazing from the very reasonably priced set menu. Will be back again!

Had a lovely meal here. Great service as always (bar person had lots of patience, and a sense of humour, despite the card machine playing silly buggers). Nice to sit in the sunshine and enjoy. Dog friendly, too.

Family birthday, all went very well

Mrs H and I had our dinner here which was excellent value for money and was excellent to eat in comfortable surroundings. Mrs H enjoyed her cocktails with us both having the Tomato and Basil soup to start with which was accompanied with a hot crusty roll and butter. For mains Mrs H had the fish and chips with tartar sauce and I had sausages and mash with cauliflower cheese sauce, green beans and Mrs H's mushy peas (we shared the vegetables for those who think I will eat everything in site) as well as sliced bread and butter with the fish and chips. I drank a large latte which did not leave any room for dessert, but the service was excellent with down to earth friendly people who timed the courses very well even though the establishment was fairly busy on our arrival. We'll definitely return and recommend.

Prawn in breadcrumbs starter - the driest and most tasteless dish I've ever had in my life! All the tables and menus were wet from drinks. Place seems to revolve around the staff just socialising with the regulars.

A very large pub with an adjacent free car park. Food was good with options other than fried to within an inch of its life typical pub food. A very large selection of beers and real ales. Lots of TV screens so very good for watching sports.

Had the best birthday for mum! It was her 70th so we had a lovely family gathering- tables all set together for us , food arrived promptly and all together (14 people), service was amazing - Sunday 2nd June! Plates cleared promptly and allowed us to do the birthday cake , the whole pub sang to be fair! Then topped off with Eton mess and chocolate brownies!!! What more can I ask ! Thank you!

Had 2 main meals, 2 burgers asked for allergy changes, but still came as original. Service was appalling due to ordering drinks off the app and not even receiving them. took 50 minutes to receive these. the two burgers come out cold and no compensation was given or offered. awful experience seeing as i work under the mitchell & butlers company.

We only had a drink but we have had a meal there on a few occasions and never been disappointed

Traveling up the M6 on a Friday afternoon, we didn't fancy service station food so found here instead for our dinner. Really close to the M6. Really quick service so we were on the road again in good time. The food was lovely and service was perfect too.

New menu is excellent, proper skin on fries! Rhianna and Kat served us with beautiful smiles! Will definitely be back to try the tandoori chicken skewer!

As always, we enjoyed our visit to the Anderton Arms. Whether it is a visit for dinner or lunch or just for drink, there is always a pleasant atmosphere, genuine welcome and good service. The food is tasty and is well-presented. Staff are friendly, professional and keen to please. One member of staff in particular is so calm and cheerful (Abbie I think) that you can’t help but feel welcome and at ease. Great local pub that is a pleasure to visit.

We went to the anderton for a family meal x 15 on my son’s birthday, Andy was great at accommodating us at short notice and was the perfect host. Bailey,Conner and Tom really looked after us and all meals were great and as ordered, no issues. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning. Thank you all 👍

The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and welcoming and it was great value for money. The free mother day gin was a great touch and so we're the mothers day balloons.

The Assistant manager served us! He was jolly, while remaining professional. Guided us through the new menu (long time since we've eaten at an ember). I had the French dip and it was cooked beautifully, chips and beef dripping was hot and the burger still moist. My partner had the southern fried burger. She said it was 'really nice'. Atmosphere was buzzing, but not too rowdy considering it was quiz night. Think we have found our new 'go to' pub. Sorry Blackbull. Definitely good value for money, amazing service, can say anything bad!

Often come here, such a lovely calm atmosphere specially in winter when they have their log fires burning! Abby is a delight and Andii has the cutest behind I have seen in a very long time. It’s always a pleasure when he is on duty.
