Popped in before visiting the museum, very limited number of sandwiches although a nice setting and certainly ok if you just need a drink.

A year ago I'd have given this place 5/5. Really friendly and very customer-focused eg they'd offer to make you up your own sandwich if there wasn't one on display that you fancied. What a recent decline. Go there at one pm and you'll be lucky if there's any sandwiches left at all!! That sandwich-making notice has gone too. Service now is ok, average but certainly no wow factor. It's hard to call it a lunch venue when there's only cakes a available after 1pm. The cakes ar eok and the coffee is good and cheap. Great location as well. Alas, what was and what might have beanQ

Popped into the coffee shop today after visiting the museum. The location of the café was excellent: right in the centre of the museum. I loved the eclectic mix of chairs and the friendly service. There was a small selection of cakes. The coffee (a latte), however, was quite bitter and not to my taste.

Freshly cooked food from Adele and the team. Great to be able to give something back through the 'pay-as-you-feel' model. You can take a voucher away to give to someone else who might need a hot drink and meal.

I visited the Bean Good Café for lunch. The meal that we received was good quality and there was a lot of it. The service was quick and the staff were very welcoming and hospitable. The fact that the café was a social enterprise and that our 'donation' resulted in being given a free meal ticket to pass on to someone else who needed that meal was an added bonus.

Customer Service excellent as always. Great food I had the veggie burger and salad with wedges , visited for an informal meeting. Eaten here several times and love the quality of the space. You buy a meal through a donation basis and then you get a card to pay the meal on to someone who needs it and they can go and use it. Ran by a great Manager and staffed by hard working volunteers so the service is always top notch. Check out the upcycled furniture, it along with everything else you find here will inspire you.

I like coffee and good food. I got both here. I also got the chance to do something equally unique and fantastic.... The staff asked me to 'buy one on' meaning if I paid a little more I could have s voucher to give to someone in need - someone homeless or just someone without much cash. I left full, refreshed, and feeling like I'd done something amazing. Adele the chef can really cook too!

Thursday evening three of us attended Haighton Manor. As usual, the food, ambiance, and service were all fantastic. But, this time a special mention to our waitress Maddie. Exceptional service, rapport snd general manner were all 10/10

Food was almost perfect, had the full Lancashire breakfast, the sausage and bacon were top quality, my only grumble on the food side is my eggs were not runny. I got fried eggs with the breakfast, they weren't over cooked but the yolks were hard. The mushrooms were delicious, the cherry tomatoes on the vine were a great touch. I say almost perfect, I'm being picky, I would've said something but no one came and asked and no one took my plate before I left, I stayed a while as well. Don't be put off the place is done out really well and everything was clean and tidy, I'm being critical as it was almost perfect. Second time round, had breakfast again, asked for my fried eggs to have runny yolks and they did not disappoint. They don't take cash as I found out today but I had my card so no harm done. I still think the service is lacking slightly but won't stop me going back.

Great service. Delicious haddock chips and peas. Best fish and chips have eaten for a long time. Recommended

Great food which is freshly cooked to order. We hadn't been here for a number of years and weren't disappointed. We selected different items from the menu, but my husband said that his Sunday roast was one of the best he had tasted. The other meals were all tasty and well cooked too. Drink prices also very reasonable. I don't eat desserts very often but was able to enjoy a cocktail - £6 or 2 for £10. It is such a pity that more people are not visiting this 'hidden gem'
