Probably the best chippy in Preston! Jit is just the best ! Amazing fish and chips and prices are good as well… the service was amazing only to top the amazingly cooked fish and chips along with Jit’s special curry sauce. I had dietary restrictions and Jit managed to make sure they were taken care of and accomodate us. While there aren’t that many seats available inside the shop it was still great dining experience. Jit was so kind to us and it was truly a great experience! Please visit if you can or order online!

Just stopped for a small fish chips and curry sauce for lunch. Probably the best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time, absolutely delicious fish and chips, the batter was gorgeous and curry sauce perfect for a cold Monday thanks Jit!!

£4.50p fir any pie/ pudding , chips , any side gravey , curry ect .. and a can of pop , I got chips , steak pie ,gravy and a,can , chips about 8 put 10 , pie should have been a bit wamer inside and gravy a bit thicker , really pleasant and polite man served the food plus I could eat the food In side the chippy , it was close to say excellent on markings because of price, loafs of other deals as well he will be there for as long as he wants as he will PURE customers

On the hunt for gluten-free fish and chips , our first choice told us that they stopped doing gluten-free on a Tuesday. A frantic search on Google led to Jits place. We phoned first to check and was told they would put a fryer on for our gluten-free order. Parking right outside the door. The friendly manager explained how they make sure of gluten-free. The food was excellent and cooked perfectly. Good value for money. Take a look at the variety box if your having friends round.

needed a quick chippie tea in a thunderstorm, nearest was this, what a nice polite efficient place it was, not busy, well cooked fish, not overdone, the menu board was extensive, even spicy spam!!, parking outside was OK, one to remember

Little gem it's got a normal menu and then wow a GLUTEN FREE menu NOT JUST THE ODD ITEMS SUPER FOOD AND the gentleman is really nice would recommend 😊😊😊

What a nice guy. Couldn't do enough to help. Gluten free menu not just the odd bit. A full gluten free menu which was brilliant. Never seen a chippy that does as much gluten free stuff. My mrs was really happy. Even had gluten free gravy curry and vinegar. This guy goes the extra mile. Available on Preston eats app.

Gluten free menu for fellow sufferers. GF Fish Batter was as good as any I've had. Agree chips could have been fried a tad longer, but acceptable. Jit (if that's his name) was a great guy. Tell your Gluten Free mates

Absolute cracking plaice. Used jits a few times. Gluten free option is always safe for my partner. Ordered tonight and my order was slightly late. When I ran jit apologies to me and says I'm next delivery as his driver I stuck in traffic. 15 mins later jit brings my food as he didn't want me waiting any longer. Lovely bloke and food is bang in every time. Very highly recommended

A small scale chippery. I try to find a gluten free chippy whenever I'm out of town to take care of the hunger pangs. I visited for the gluten free fish and chips as I saw them at a gluten free fair a few weeks ago. The fish and the chips looked ok and didn't seem anything to shout about. The chips were fluffy and just how I like them. The fish batter was crunchy to the bite but the fish itself was something else. The best chippy fish I have ever had. That includes the fish I used to have before going on the gluten free diet. Just sublime!!!

Better here then that salt n vinegar chippy that never seems to be open when you expect it to be , not that i mind as this place much better

Excellent. Chips were delicious and they have a comprehensive gluten free menu that isn't overpriced. Friendly service. They've got a 5 star hygiene ratings as well. What's not to love? We'll definitely be back.

The food was luke warm, scampi was cheap and not very tasty, milkshakes were at room temperature along with cans of pop, the women behind the counter wasnt very helpful and barely spoke a few words, only tried the place going off the reviews but i wont be going back really disappointing.

Definitely worth it if your looking for cheap eats around Preston. Their gravy is like old school chippy gravy! - (one of the best I have tried in along time) Chips are okay, probably could do with a little longer in the frier to golden/crisp a little bit more but apart from that not to bad. The guy who is serving was also very polite & welcoming.

It's pretty hard to find gluten free fish and chips so when I came across Jits I was pleased. Gluten free sausage in batter, chips and curry labelled GF and delivered to our hotel reception. Excellent customer service and delicious.

Bad enough that I just waited 30 minutes whilst telephone orders were called through and prioritised in front of shop customers, but then when they finally bother serving they serve the last guy in first. That's just rude. Also the girl behind the counter might be a bit more effective if you didn't peck at her every five minutes and destroy any confidence she has/had.

Grat little fish and chip shop and caters for people with gluten intolerances.

Was awful asked for battered mars bar gave me a battered snickers bar tried saying it was mars bar good im not alegeric wouldnt recomend this place

Such a lovely chippy! Well reasonably priced. The food he has to offer is just amazing! Also the meal deals are great too. The milkshakes are gorgeous! Couldn't fault and it's now my new favourite chippy😊

Good food, Stuff and price's. I feel like I would go more often if the building itself looked more organized and hygenic, for example the Hygiene Fixture is not correctly fitted on the wall and the walls look unclean.

Awful.chips. i have visited a few times and the quality of the food varies. The chips I had recently were awful, slimy and horrible taste had to throw them.in the bin. Won't be going here again. Jit's s**t chips
