Shady Coffee in Preston

Got two breakfast barms and two teas. What a weird experience. The breakfast barn was meant to be a sausage, egg, hash brown, cheese and onion. The barm was dry. The sausage was a weird vegetarian spicy thing! I know the shop is halal but what? The cheese was a cheap cheese slice. I was so bemused and it wasn't nice. The tea was awful too. I was overcharged and had to point it out. There was noone in there and I'm not surprised.

Not sure where to start . . . Ordered mango smoothie, no mango, ordered a berry smoothie, no berries, finally managed to order a strawberry and banana smoothie. Biscoff milkshake and coffee order went ok! Also ordered 3 bags of crisp. Sat down and noticed the bags of crisp were out of date - Aug 2023 🙈 took 2 packs back as one had been eaten, no apology but offered something else so decided to share a cinnamon swirl. That arrived with the milkshake and smoothie . . . After 10 minutes we chased the coffee - finally arrived because it had been forgotten but by this time everyone else had finished their drinks. Again no apologies. Slight saving grace that the coffee was hot and was quite nice. With so many coffee places close by I’d be being very careful where dates, hygiene and customer service were concerned - not sure we will be back.

Life is too short for bad coffees according to the sign on the wall at Shady’s, too darn right! Love a quick Shady one shot cappucino☺️

Came in to kill some time and i had a great experience with the staff, the prices were fair and i had a great bagel too... Ill definitely be coming back here again when ive got some time to chill out

Amazing cafe with really friendly baristas in the perfect spot! Me and my family came here after graduation and the cakes were delicious! 100% recommend
