The Poachers Inn in Preston

I visited on October 31st and had a fantastic experience. The restaurant had a great balance of tables—plenty of open seating, yet still lively with other patrons. The environment was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the start. The food was delicious, with each dish showing quality ingredients and careful preparation. The flavors were delightful, and everything arrived at just the right temperature. The staff truly stood out for their politeness and attentiveness. They made sure our needs were met promptly without being intrusive, contributing to a seamless dining experience. Overall, a wonderful visit that I would highly recommend!

As a family we visit this Pub Restaurant regularly, as well as the attached Wacky Warehouse soft play. Our 7 yo is ASD, and the staff have always been so amazing with him, and really understanding of his needs and quirks. We know many of the staff by name now, and they always do their best to accommodate us. It's a lovely family friendly atmosphere, good food, at reasonable prices.

Last minute 21st birthday in the room upstairs.Daughter decided with 2 weeks to go that she wanted a party. The poachers saved the day with function room which holds 55 people. The hot&cold Buffet was amazing. The Staff were Amazing.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend for a small function with its own little bar. Nothing was too much trouble. Kids went downstairs to play in the wacky warehouse. Loved it!

Food was amazing!!! The environment was lovely and jessica our waitress was very polite definitely coming back again.

Amazing experience at the poachers again. We came for a family meal and we were greated at the host stand by Bethany who was very helpful and was able to assist with our queries. We were seated quickly and efficiently and Bethany explained the offer for that day. The food came and was very good, and we received regular check backs from the servers and Bethany came over to make sure everything was OK. We'll be back and if Bethany is working I'm sure it'll be another enjoyable experience.

Booked but didn’t need to as there was plenty of spare tables : you could order via an app but we ordered at the bar.Fair choice of drinks but having only one size for sparkling drinks! Bring honest the starters of garlic and cheese bread wax a total let down even for the price! Mains however of Jerk Chicken and another chicken dish was near perfect and value for the price. Some lovely staff were attentive and friendly. Overall decent visit

Came in for breakfast this morning and it was lovely and calm. The lady on was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was hot and fresh and was one of the best cooked breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. I didn’t see anyone other than the young lady but she was pleasant and friendly. We will be returning, thank you.

Came in for a family meal and all the staff were lovely especially Beth who made sure everything was right and interacted with my baby who loved her will be returning.

Half good, other half could be better. Firstly the staff were good and interactive, drinks were good and one meal was good whilst the other I won’t be ordering again. So the sizzling rump steak was good, cooked as asked, no complaints but the mega mixed grill could have been better in that plate arrives and peas stone cold, brought to the attention of waitresses who instantly brought a fresh pot, the gammon, piece of steak, chips and onion rings all fine but the 2 pieces of chicken didn’t look appetising and were so dry , similarly with the sausage , not the best. Service was good, staff good , drinks good but I’ll not be ordering another mega mixed grill. To be fair the staff were caring and did offer something to make up for the meal but declined as eaten enough

had a gentleman called paul serving us and he was amazing kept a smile and was very polite he was more than helpful our whole family who came mentioned how good he was. He was also in a good mood and never stopped working once

I came in this morning for the breakfast with the Easter bunny and it was set up nice and we was greeted well. After about 5-10 minutes we ordered food and was then greeted with the Easter bunny who came round for pictures and handed out special treats for the kids which included an Easter egg. We fully enjoyed this morning. Thank you to all the staff.

Even though it was very busy the food came quickly and was hot. We was waited on by Paul and he was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him, going above and beyond for us which made our evening more enjoyable.

Friendly host, we came on a busy Wednesday night as it was quiz night, but the host Leah was able to arrange a table for us which was appreciated. We made use of the curry and drink meal deal and this was great value for money and we'll come again. Thanks to Leah and all the other staff for their service. It was good to see the pub so busy on a Wednesday night.

Came to the poachers on a Wednesday night and we hadn’t booked but it was very busy as it was quiz night. However we were looked after very well by the host Leah who made sure we had a table and a great night was had by all. The food was delicious as well and we’ll be back, but will book on a Wednesday in future.
