The best restaurants serving British food in London

Regularmente vamos a The Goring a tomar unas copas de camino a casa desde las noches en la ciudad y lo hemos hecho durante unos diez años. ¡Desafortunadamente hemos visto el servicio en el área del bar declinar con los años! Tarda más en ser atendido ahora y los empleados actuales no son ni mucho menos tan amables. Hemos gastado una pequeña fortuna allí a lo largo de los años y siempre traemos diferentes amigos y parientes porque tiene un gran encanto. Sería bueno mantener nuestra tradición, pero ahora la cuestionamos regularmente. ¡Es demasiado caro no tener la misma experiencia que solíamos tener!

A Mother's Day meal with my Daughter and Grandson was really nice. The staff were kind and helpful. The food was tasty and the wait short. The kitchen is open and grom where we were seated we could see it being prepared. It was a lovely afternoon 😍 xx

Me and my husband we spend one of the best time in our life lots of fun, nice music, but I have to give 10/10 to sea bass so tasty and rich flavours

Así que el servicio de Trish fue genial. Teníamos el plato de compartir. Empezó con humus, patatas bravas, gyoza y pan. Estaba bien, pero no sobresaliente. El segundo servicio cambió las cosas. Tuvimos el curry que era sabroso y chapuzón de remolacha que era increíble y lleno de chile. El vino tinto portugués era encantador. Volvería para el segundo plato y el servicio. Genial ver un lugar basado en plantas con tan buen servicio y comida.

Una vez mostrado arriba a la sala de ginebra (que abrió a las 5 pm) tuvimos una encantadora tarde de cócteles y pastel. El servicio era excelente y el bar era un placer ver en el trabajo y obviamente muy experimentado y fantástico en su trabajo. Estábamos utilizando un vale Virgin Experience 'Tipples and Treats' y sin duda lo recomendaría.

Lugar increíble, decoración, el equipo se ve muy bien! ¡Mención especial a mi encantador camarero Jey! Súper conocedor y una gran ayuda! Gracias al sumiller Giorgia también.

We chose from the a la carte menu. Absolutely loved it. Service was discrete and food delicious. The chunky chips - super large - unexpected but cooked to perfection. I also loved the broccolini and the dressing put on it. Sticky toffee pudding was incredible also. Would love to come again.

Our new favorite spot since moving to the area. The staff are so kind and service is wonderful. The Full English and the omelet are amazing and the coffee was perfect. Do yourself a favor and snag a homemade brownie (or two)!

This used to be the best fish n chips shop by far and I used to travel from Bromley. Tonight on my return home without my knowledge I had been given French fries instead of traditional chips that used to be served/ not sure if this is a one off due to supplier issues or if this is something new that has been introduced without telling their long standing customers- I for one will not be returning.

Such a lovely place to be. They snuck us in and couldn’t have been more helpful. Delicious food, very reasonable. Would definitely come again and glad we happened upon this place!

Stayed a few nights. Rooms are tired and outdated! Tv didn’t work due to terrible reception. Not a warm and fuzzy place! Okay at a pinch if you can’t find anything else! No one to talk to if you need anything!! Access to room awkward with suitcases!! Definitely wouldn’t recommend this Hotel

Proper interesting delicious cocktails

Everything was really tasty and it was a spacious fresh place. The service was ok. I loved the coffee taste and art , also the Egg Benedict looked amazing too 😍 they just need to change the very thick muffin on Eggs Benedict because as a strong person I couldn’t cut the muffin at all! Or serve stake knives please .
