The best restaurants serving British food in London

Everything was really tasty and it was a spacious fresh place. The service was ok. I loved the coffee taste and art , also the Egg Benedict looked amazing too 😍 they just need to change the very thick muffin on Eggs Benedict because as a strong person I couldn’t cut the muffin at all! Or serve stake knives please .

We both had a fabulous roast beef today. Meat was incredibly tender, was lovely and pink as we both like it. Service was amazing throughout, particularly from Sarah - attentive, super friendly and just a great compliment to the restaurant. ☺️

Love this place, been going for nearly 50 years and have some wonderful memories across all those decades.

I can highly recommend booking a tour of Forman & Field. It's a great experience and I learnt so much from the owner who is very enthusiastic and engaging. The demonstrations are brilliant and ends with a delicious salmon platter served 8 ways.

Been to this little cafe a couple of times before, a couple of years ago but had forgotten about it. Passed by today and am so happy I went in for post exercise brunch. They have a really talented chef in there. Had a brioche bun with asparagus, marscapone, roasted tomatoes, fried egg and added bacon. It was just delicious and beautifully cooked. The ingredients were really high quality. Nothing here tastes like other places, it's always a bit different and elevated. Great coffee too. Have had to abandon the place on busy days when there's been a long wait but today was nice and quiet and I got a seat easily.

The prawn salad was phenomenal and well presented. The beef was has an enormous serving portion, cooked to order and perfectly juicy. The atmosphere was very posh- there was live jazz music and a singer

Fui al Beaufort Bar a tomar unas copas antes de la cena con mi familia. La decoración y el ambiente es muy bueno, con DJ jugando y ambiente alegre. El personal es profesional, pero carece de cualquier toque personal y parecen estar pasando por las mociones. El servicio fue lento, aunque las bebidas y la comida estaban bien presentados y sabía muy bien. De nuevo volviendo al servicio esto fue lento para reponer cualquier bocadillo o bebidas de recarga. En general, buen bar para bebidas antes de la cena, pero con los altos precios se espera un mejor servicio al cliente y las interacciones. Conclusión, Savoy resolver esto como he estado viniendo al Savoy desde hace unos años, pero ahora recomendaría bares mucho mejores en el centro de Londres para bebidas, especialmente el Artesian Bar en The Langham Hotel.

Same experience every time I come here — great food but slow, inattentive service. When somebody asks for the menu they probably want to order something, so it would be helpful if the waiter came over to take an order at some point… some other customers left, having been ignored for at least ten minutes (and it wasn’t remotely busy).

A wonderful hidden gem in stoke newington. The food is original and incredibly delicious. It's very seasonal so it changes all the time. The staff is nice and friendly and the decoration is retro and charming. Highly recommend it

Visitamos Londres al menos tres veces al año y siempre desayunamos aquí. El desayuno es notable con productos de buena calidad y porciones. Tienen un desayuno pequeño, mediano y grande. Mi novio siempre ha tenido el medio y nunca lo ha terminado. Tenía lo pequeño esta vez y todavía luchaba. Siempre está ocupado con turistas y trabajadores. El personal es bien organizado, amable y nos recuerdan en cada visita. Mi única queja es que no ponen mantequilla en las tostadas y cuando pides un poco no es mantequilla real. La mantequilla salada haría el desayuno 100%. Los precios son muy razonables y más baratos que mi ciudad local.

UPDATE- management reached out about the experience below and dealt with things really well. Better than we ever expected actually. The situation was clearly as a result of one bad member of staff ( who is no longer there) and not a reflection of the venue itself. We were invited back for a meal and both had a lovely dinner, staff were friendly and happy to report that security were too! Anyone with a disability beware of this place! My husband needed to use the toilet as he suffers from really bad anxiety. It was on a wembley game day. He politely asked to use the toilet and got told that he didn’t look like he had a disability and to go to McDonald’s instead. We told the security guy that it was too busy and he was ill and desperately needed the toilet. Husband also said he would buy something so he could use the toilet, or pay to use it. We got told to go away as it wasn’t a pub and he couldn’t come in and that it wasn’t his problem that McDonald’s was too busy. Disgusting behaviour by your security guard which essentially amounts to discrimination, do better.
