Popped in for Sunday carvery. Food was fantastic quality - beautifully cooked lamb and gammon - great portion size too. Service was really good and we received a lovely, warm welcome upon arrival. Well we back soon!

Was in here yesterday enjoying a drink and got moved tables twice by the staff who were trying to accommodate people wanting food. I was then asked if I could vacate my table and sit at the very crowded bar to accommodate more walk ins. It was too busy and we did not feel welcome so left. Luckily we went to a better and cheaper pub called Ryan’s and had a much more entertaining afternoon so it was one of those fateful moments that turned out well. I won’t be going back though. I don’t know I have ever been in a pub and asked to move around etc. it’s very poor service although the nice lady in charge did offer us a table later but hey if serving food is more important then it’s their business but I’ll spend my money somewhere where I feel welcome. This pub is not the same now the old landlord has moved on. The garden has also been ruined. Edit - in response to Dean’s reply - none of us in our group can recall you saying the table was only for one hour - if we had known we would have left at that point - recollections can vary I guess. When we arrived we were actually sitting at the bar and at your suggestion we left the bar to sit at a corner table before we agreed to move again to sit at a small table. We constantly moved around to accommodate you so you can imagine how it felt for us. I won’t be back.

I visited a charming pub with a friend after a business networking event. We both had a great experience. The service, food, drinks, friendliness of staff, and overall experience were all exceptional. My friend had a burger which she said was delicious, and I had the chicken and mushroom pie which was the best pie I have ever had at a pub. It was full to the brim with flavour and had no soggy bottom, even with the extra gravy I added. The young lad and owner who served us were extremely friendly and made our visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

We had a great time as a family when we visited yesterday. The service was excellent, staff so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, lovely home cooked food full of flavour. Great atmosphere! I would highly recommend visiting. Will definitely be visiting again.

Came here for some food with a friend. Many of the items on the menu unavailable despite it only being 4:30. I ordered Cajun chicken burger with chips and salad. Arrived with no chips or salad. Had to wait on sides whilst burger is going cold. When chips came they were greasy French fries which has been plunge fried and were undercooked unlike the house chips the table next to us had. My friend ordered the nachos and it came with cheap sticky cheese and ‘salsa’ which was tinned tomatoes with nothing else. Wouldn’t eat here again and spend money on food.

Lovely pub in South Ealing with a cozy hidden garden at the back. We went for the Quiz on Wednesday and it was so much fun! You play from your phone & there’s also a music round. The pub was full and everyone was enjoying it. I had the lasagne and it was delicious. Overall a great night, would definitely recommend if you are in the area 👍🏼

Nice local pub, fullers like a lot of the pibs in Ealing however it has a old feel with an eccentric layout. The garden is a nice spot to hangout in during the warmer months.

This pub is so bad every time when sit down and enjoy your drink rude guy comes and say this table is booked and put a reservation sign .why can’t they put the reservation sign in advance showing the time it’s been booked. It happened several times. We won’t be drinking there anymore

Just a bang average Fuller’s pub. Atmos is ok, drinks are expensive and service is pretty average. There was a drag act on a Friday at time of writing which was ok, if not a bit uninspiring. Fuller’s used to rule to roost in west London, but have just become a bit overpriced and unspectacular these days. Staff were a bit disinterested too, which is a shame when you pay hand over fist for a pint. Nothing to write home about here, but it does a decent pint of Pride.

Beer and food selection is very generic and pricier than most pubs in the area.

Got there around 2:30 and was told one of the roasts was sold out already, I would understand if it was late in the day but seemed unprepared, especially with it being Mother's Day. Portions were rather small, but food was enjoyed by most of the table. Just a heads up, they don't do a kids menu, but the adult burger was the right size for my 9-year-old. Nice little touch was they gave the mother's a little gift of a gin and tonic set to take home.

We had a lovely mother's day lunch here today. It was delicious. Nice clean pub and friendly staff. All the mums had a goody bag containing a little bottle of gin and a tonic. Thank you. We'll definitely be coming back for lunch soon.

This is a great local pub! Staff are brilliant and really friendly. Jon, the landlord, does a fantastic job with his pub and always greets his guests with genuine friendliness and appreciation! Good food and drinks and a really well maintained establishment! Its back garden is a hidden gem, and this place still holds true to what a local pub is, serving the local community. A thumbs up from me.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming, especially the landlord. It's a great pub to pop for a drink with friends and the "secret garden" is a lovely retreat from the business of life, especially in the summer.

Watched a football game here, and we're lucky to arrive early enough to get a good spot. Some drinks options were not available but the team made alternatives, they also always paid attention to the table and any requests. Had a brownie dessert which was good itself, but did not like the ice cream that came with it. Overall, lot of screens available and great fans, drinks were good too.

I went to The Castle Inn to watch the funeral of HM The Queen. Jon was caring and welcoming to all guests, respecting the solemn atmosphere and ensuring that everyone was okay. A lovely place to bring together the local community on such a sad day. Thank you for hosting us and allowing us to pay our respects.

I liked the ambience of this local pub. food was nice and cheap. all of the burger menu were just £8! also had a half pint of Platinum Jubilee ale which I enjoyed pretty much

I visited this pub last Tuesday (14 June), with 2 wheelchair users and a couple of other friends. The 2 staff on duty were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They worked hard to make our evening the success it was. They even moved tables around, so that we could have a group photo, before we went home.

Absolutely wonderful local pub with a range of food and drinks. Wonderful bar staff; Nicky, Leroy, Ross and Luke always welcome you at the door. The food is fantastic, Jon is a very friendly and lovely man. If I could give a higher review than 5* I would honestly it’s lovely.

Incredibly tasty vegan roast dinner and amazing staff. Brill selection of vegetables and a crunchy premium nut roast with BIG nuts. And no issues when I asked for extra gravy 😉.

Just had a fantastic evening at The Castle Inn!! Thank you to Jon Ward and his bar staff for accommodating a school reunion where friends and I were able to catch up. We had the raised back area of the pub specially reserved for us. Great atmosphere, drinks and food on hand that contributed to such a memorable event. Returning end of January 2022 as we were so happy about the venue. Great parking outside and down side streets, easily accessible for those travelling on public transport. Looking forward to returning again!

We quite often visit The Castle for a drink or two before dinner and the first thing that you notice is how genuinely friendly the staff are. They are super helpful and smart, welcoming and genuine. The Castle always has a great buzz and some upbeat music gently pulsing in the background. We recently attended a birthday party in the quirky garden at the back (very happy that covid rules were firmly enforced and ahered by at all times I hasten to add). The menu isn't extensive but it's good at what it does and, selfishly, it fully caters for vegetarians with more than one option. The Castle is laid back, welcoming and a fun place to go at any age.
