Visited the Beaufort bar a couple of times whilst on a recent stay in London and once before dinner at the Savoy. Staff are excellent and couldn’t do enough do their guests. Drinks are always perfect and the atmosphere is great too. Definitely worth a visit even if you’re not staying at the hotel.

Good service, and beautiful decor, very clean. Located on the ground floor of the Savoy hotel. Friendly and professional service. The wine list was not as extensive as I hoped it would be.

We loved our date night drinks at the Beaufort. Superb bar, warm welcome, great service. Superb cocktail menu. Even better people watching. Highly recommended. We will be back!

Really worth the money for the ambience they have created. It's just travel in time and the total switch off, just sit back and sip your martini with joy

We had a wonderful evening on Thursday at the Beaufort Bar to celebrate my Daughter’s birthday. Irshad looked after us very well, he really made our visit memorable. Very attentive and friendly service, knowledgeable in terms of recommending cocktails to suit our tastes and happily changed a cocktail as he felt we didn't enjoy it like we should. The snacks were delicious and replenished often and the Happy Birthday dessert was a wonderful surprising touch. The decor and atmosphere can only be described as beautiful and elegant. Irshad then arranged for a table in the American Bar, also very nice, the live music created a nice atmosphere however, we much preferred our time in the Beaufort Bar to the American Bar. We shared our feedback from our night to Markus who was very grateful to hear how we appreciated the impeccable service provided by Irshad and the bar team.

Arrived wanting to go to American bar told busy by door man so said beauford bar again busy . That was ok life happens . Walked to top of road then thought I would ask when it might be quiter . reply not tonight . as 4 people walked past me going to bar they said . I asked how to be told I was Scottish ????Dressed well enough for the Ritz where we were staying .

What a place .. cool as cucumber .. Dinner is a loose term for the food we had ! a toastie and a Wagu slider of the best order ! Champagne menu is pretty impressive just don’t make the mistake of asking the waiter to choose and surprise you as we had a £100 bill for one glass of champagne ! My fault for being lazy and not perusing the menu … cheers :-) However it was vintage and it was perfect and so we just paid the bill :-) it is a wonderful bar in a very special hotel .. We couldn't get a booking for our preferred American Bar so we booked a table here for drinks after our meal in the River Restaurant. You can only book a table to start on the hour (ie 7.00pm or 8.pm). There are no half hour bookings, or there weren't when I booked through OpenTable. The place was OK. We've been before and I have written good reviews about the place. However, I felt that the evening we were there it was all a bit quiet and soulless - and rather dark, which it always is. We had a couple of drinks and left. I don't think we will be rushing back.

Amazing pre dinner drinks, a fantastic location to sip cocktails and watch the world go by. No rush or push, great music and ambience.

We had the pleasure of stopping by at the Beaufort Bar during our visit in London. I walked in the doors and the place was just as I had imagined it. It was so glamorous that it felt like I had stepped into a movie set. The bar is decked out in gold and black and it was reminiscent of a scene from a James Bond movie. The bar staff was happy to offer recommendations and the cocktails were excellent.

Visited the bar ( not the American bar which was fully booked ) on a busy Friday night just before Christmas with some friends Bar opened at 5pm - bit strange that we and a few other people were asked to queue outside in a corridor for 10 mins as we were “early”. Bar was just empty. Shown to a table for 4 and cocktails ordered - very smart decor and elegant bar - what you would expect of somewhere like the Savoy Room was about 60percent full Our 22 year old daughter and her friend arrived - collected them in hotel lobby and the bar doorkeeper was happy for them to join us… however waiters were most unhappy at joining the adjacent table or put 2 more chairs around the existing table - really snooty Told we had to sit on 2 tables! We did - finished our drinks and of course left…. Really disappointed - there are many other more welcoming luxury bars in London…

My husband and stayed at the Savoy while enjoying London's museums, theatre, and shopping. After an evening performance, we stopped into the Beaufort Bar for a light dinner of wine and caviar. It goes without saying that nothing at the Beaufort is inexpensive but the grand room and stellar service (Thank you, Emmy) were worth it. Our only nit is that the room seems designed for live piano music, or a small jazz ensemble. Unfortunately, the style and volume of the canned music would have been better suited to a disco.

Lovely bar, had a short wait for a table and then great service once we were in. Complimentary snacks are tasty and the cocktails are yummy. Expensive as you would expect in this sort of place but worth it as a treat

Great venue for pre-dinner drinks. As we were meeting for a forthcoming birthday, I was offered a complimentary glass of champagne which was a nice touch. The cocktails we had were delicious

Last night we finally had the chance to come back to the beauford bar now beautifully new refurbished. Everything was just perfect, the atmosphere was very cosy, the new glasses stunning, but was the staff that really stood out as being super professional and welcoming. Dario looked after us and suggested us the best cocktails we have ever had. Thank you for making every our visit a great experience.

Excellent place! Exterior.. Bar located in The Savoy hotel, which means high prices and best service. Interior.. is beautiful! Bar stand, the uniform of stuff, furniture, chandeliers. The person on entrance was nice to us and we felt welcome in here. (Comparable to other low quality places with bodyguards who judge you by look or just by their mood at the moment). The visitors are just like us - people who came to enjoy the company of each other and a glass of tasty drink. Place was busy and quiet. No screaming, no loud talking or laughing, no insta stories recording, no photo posing. This is a big plus and rare now. Cannot leave without mentioning very comfortable lighting inside the bar. It makes the atmosphere more intimate and you feel sort of privacy even you are in between people. Cocktails.. we ordered 1 cocktail each (4 people), at some point we had to rush our waiter bc we had limited time. After that we had our cocktails almost straight away. Meanwhile we enjoyed tasty snacks we were offered when took our sit. Cocktails were good. As a result.. this place is different, high level well known hotel bar. This place is for you if you mind who is sitting around you, you value good service, piece and tasty nicely presented cocktails.

London fashion week, so it was busy in the bar, but everyone was comfortably accommodated in this beautiful bar. Cocktails were amazing and sampled some of the wine list. As expected the service was excellent and we were lucky to get in as we were walk in. Lovely vibe, some people watching and lovely canapés served up on arrival. Classy and cool.

What can I say that can do this bar justice..... Let's start with the room..... absolutely stunning!! Dark with the perfect amount of lighting, beautiful Murano Chandelier, perfect layout, dramatic, romantic, and cozy. The staff....simply Wow, wow, wow!! All of them were impeccable in every way. From the greeting to the departure. The way they spoke, moved, served, my partner and I enjoyed watching them, a true credit to The Savoy !!!! The Beaufort Bar made our stay at The Savoy complete and I can't wait to go back again when next in London. Congratulations to a fabulous team.

Wir hatten um 17:30 Uhr am 6.12 eine Reservierung für 3 Personen zum Afternoon Tea im Thames Foyer. Wir kamen früher als geplant im Savoy an, daraufhin beschlossen wir die restliche Zeit bis unser Tisch zur Verfügung steht in der Beaufort Barzu verbringen. Es war sehr viel los an diesem Tag, trotz allem wurden wir sehr freundlich von Michele empfangen und hervorragend beraten bei der Auswahl unserer Getränke. Michele war trotz der Hektik in der Bar sehr aufmerksam und stets hilfsbereit. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und fantastische Cocktails.

Sötét, elegáns, de ugyanakkor pezsgő hangulatú bár a Savoy hotel szívében. Sokan nem jönnek beljebb az American Bar-ból, pedig érdemes. Őrületes koktélok, ha valaki szereti ezt a hangulatot, akkor nem fog csalódni!

Had drinks here with friends and family in November, 2019. This place is expensive... some of the drinks in nose-bleed territory. However, having said that, the atmosphere was very sophisticated, the service was great, the drinks very nice, and the location excellent. It is a terrific place for meeting people for drinks and a special occasion.

Were directed to this bar when informed of a wait for the American Bar (which was also very busy when we were last there). The Beaufort was quiet when we arrived and we quickly ordered drinks. Whilst enjoying these we were frequently hassled by staff clearing glasses and asking us whether we wished for more - which we did but in our time not theirs - they must be on a bonus of some sort given their persistence. The staff took the shine off what would otherwise have been a very pleasant visit. Como on Savoy, you can do better than this!!

Classy and elegant- amazing cocktails and mocktails- the cocktail menu is a wonderful piece of artwork. The wine list is also quite outstanding . Located in the Savoy Hotel, ( open to non residents too) this bar is quite dark amd traditional in decor, tho has a definite wow factor. . Great atmosphere. Staff are effcient ad friendly and expert at mixing cocktails.

We visited Saturday night and the entertainment was brilliant alongside the drinks being of a very good standard. Some have commented on the prices but with respect its the Savoy it isn't going to be cheap is it.

Visited again with my husband on Saturday 28th September. We were greeted at the door by a young girl with a torch who informed us that we couldn’t go in as they currently had a power cut. We asked to use the toilet as we had walked from our Covent Garden hotel.

Comfortable surroundings, great music, excellent service, with good sense of humour and perfect recommendations for drinks.

We left the American Bar after one drink and headed to Beaufort Bar before going to the Savoy theatre. We had some delicious cocktails which were made off the menu. The bar itself is very pretty and tables are much more spread out so it feels much more personal than the American Bar. We will definitely return again soon

Solo apareció para tomar una bebida en un sábado por la tarde muy caluroso, ojalá tuviéramos tiempo para comer allí, la comida se veía deliciosa.

El lugar para venir a terminar su noche de teatro o cualquier noche en la zona realmente. La selección de bebidas es increíble, el personal es muy bueno y, si vienes las noches correctas de la semana, incluso puedes disfrutar de excelente música en vivo. Ambiente elegante a su alrededor.

Was at the bar on my birthday (due to sons missing their flights!) and was being helped by a wonderful Bartender named Leonardo. He made a perfect Cosmopolitan for me just to my finicky specifications! When his colleague Jo heard it was my birthday she had the chef whip up a lovely dessert and presented it to me candle and all! It was the ultimate example of personalized five-star service and made me feel very special. Fantastic bar setting and decor on top of the service. Great for pre or post theater!

My first time in the Beaufort Bar at the Savoy, and it certainly won't be my last. The cocktails at the bar were delicious. Many thanks to our waiter Juan for the recommendations and attentive, friendly service. The Lightbulb Moment cocktail is highly recommended for a moment your mouth will not forget! The ambience is of live music playing in the background, which is perfect since you can talk without shouting. This bar is the perfect place to celebrate that special occassion.

We booked a table here for pre-dinner cocktails before our reservations at Kaspar's. There is a good cocktail menu and the service is excellent, waiters are knowledgeable and happy to make recommendations and answer questions. The bar itself is a fantastically decadent place to enjoy drinks. The cocktails range from mildly-expensive to expensive but there is likely to be something for everyone and the staff offered to make anything. While the cocktails are very well made, you're paying a premium to drink in a lovely bar in an iconic hotel. If that appeals, this bar will not disappoint you.

Visited here as the American Bar was too busy. Excellent range of cocktails, some quite unusual. A bit overpriced, most of the cocktails we had weren't worth the price (ranged from £22-£30, some were even more expensive) and would've been better at £18-£20

Cenamos fuera del hotel y queríamos tomar uno para tomar algo en la carretera. Bueno, terminó en tres tragos porque el ambiente era fantástico. El servicio fue excelente, Champagne se servía de la manera correcta con vasos fríos y la música en vivo era muy entretenida. El Savoy entiende entretener en estilo.

Otra agradable velada pasó aquí y me impresionó que uno de los hombres del bar nos recordara de nuestra visita anterior.

No habíamos hecho una reserva pero nos agradó que nos sentaran enseguida.

Primero: el Bar Beaufort es elegante, elegante y completamente civilizado. Los cócteles están bien concebidos y bien ejecutados, aunque quizás un poco demorados en hacer su aparición en su mesa. Pero Leonardo, nuestro camarero, fue una auténtica joya: servicial, paciente, perspicaz. . . Nos mudamos dos veces para acomodar adiciones a nuestra fiesta; Él era más que complaciente. Nos dio ideas para otros bares para visitar, incluso haciéndonos una lista. Completamente gran chico - hizo la noche bastante agradable.

He estado viniendo aquí durante los últimos 15 años como un regalo. Esta visita (6 personas) tuvo lugar el 2 de enero, para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi esposa. Supongo que el personal normal se fue después de las actividades de Año Nuevo. El servicio era lento o inexistente. En un momento dado (a las 6 pm), todos los camareros desaparecieron, mientras que la pobre muchacha en el puesto de Maitre D terminó por tener que cubrirlos mientras hacía su propio trabajo. No hubo supervisión aparente, y cuando se dignaron permitirnos comprar bebidas, no fue el servicio que recibimos en el pasado de Savoy. Dado el hecho de que eran más de 120 por una ronda de bebidas, me sentí decepcionado por el mal servicio.

Fabulous. We were here on Christmas day and we had a wonderful time. My husband and I sat at the Bar at this lovely hotel and from the moment we walked into this fantastic hotel we were treated so well. Without a doubt the best staff in all of London hotels worked here. Well done The Savoy for finding such fantastic people to work for you.

This a bar is a hidden gem, we wanted to get in the American bar but it was full and the gent at the door suggested to try the Beaufort bar and what a great choice it was! Smashing cocktails, they have a very fun menu influenced by the elements of the Savoy Theatre ( Music, drama and magic). We were hosted by the head bartender, Elon and he was a true star!

We were in the area and wanted to treat ourselves to a nice drink and tried to get a table in the American Bar but there was a waiting list so we went to the Beaufort Bar as it was just opening.

A bar with this décor and mood lighting needs music to match - cool jazz, for example, not high volume, tuneless thumping. We had to shout to each other. It also needs smooth service, not a disdainful waiter who addresses women as "lady". Doesn't the Savoy do training?

The elegant surroundings and wonderfully attentive and polite staff make a visit here really special. We made our way to the hotel from Temple tube station and I suggested we go in through the entrance near the Thames but going in this way you miss the joy of going through beautiful entrance and lobby. At least you can see it on the way out. After seeing the images on the internet I half expected the bar to be empty but by the time we arrived around 6.30pm it was almost full. Fortunately there was a table available and we were seated straight away. It may be an idea to make a reservation if you don't want to be disappointed. There's always the American bar of course and we'll try that next.

Inside the strand hotel is the Beaufort bar. It is sumptuous to look at, immaculately laid out and staff who are attentive but not overbearing or intrusive.

While staying at the hotel we came here one night after being out. I thought it was a champagne bar, but basically they have fantastically pricey cocktails that run the gamut in price.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary in the Beaufort bar and was attended to by Juan. He went out of his way to make our visit memorable, spoiling us with pastries and even a card. He was friendly and extremely attentive to our every need, what a credit to your hotel.

Nothing wrong with this bar, I just prefer the layout and the atmosphere of the American Bar. It's a very pleasant place to while away the hours and is well worth a visit.

We live in New Orleans, love bars, and have fun investigating all sorts of drinking establishments, bars or otherwise, when travelling. This is truly one of the most stunning, ever. We walked to the Savoy after an evening at the theater, and could not there being a more perfect place to wind up the night. The drinks were fabulous, the bar menu incredible (not just the range of cocktails, but also the design of the menu itself), and the piano music simply perfect. The Beaufort immediately calls to mind the elegance of older times - when nothing was rushed, and having cocktails in such gorgeous surroundings had a dash of magic. We can't wait to return.

An intimate setting right off the Thames Foyer. The decor takes you back to 1930s elegance, even though it is a recent addition to the hotel. The staff is well-trained and we were impressed by the level of service. Definitely our favorite for an after theatre drink.

Stunning bar! We were seated in one of the niches with a lovely view of the entire bar. As for the music...it was wonderful, not too loud. Just right! Such ambience! Perfect ending to our last night in London! Will remember this night. Can’t wait to return!

Well I should probably start by saying I absolutely LOVE the Beaufort Bar ! Right from the Art Deco surrounding to cocktails which may I add are absolutely to die for and are definitely a must try when visiting ! Particularly love their Vodka Martini’s, fab time always had in here with friends !
