Notes in City of London, Westminster

Il 30 St Mary Axe è uno dei nostri edifici del cuore, così, ogni volta che ci troviamo a Londra, cerchiamo lì un posticino per la colazione e questa volta la scelta è caduta su Notes, un piccolo locale soppalcato che serve caffetteria e anche dolci ottimi con attenzione al vegan e gluten free. I gestori, che abbiamo scoperto essere italiani, sono molto gentili e ciò ha reso ancora più dolce la nostra colazione

Estalló para tomar un café para llevar. . . Acabé consiguiendo un poco de pastel anaranjado. . . que era duro y sin sabor. Le pido al barista que lo cambie por otro, que era exactamente igual, así que pensé que bueno debe ser así. . . De cualquier manera, creo que ustedes deberían mantener sus pasteles cubiertos con una cúpula, especialmente si su exhibición de pasteles está justo en frente de la puerta, no es muy higiénica y no es la mejor manera de mantener la calidad de sus pasteles, pero luego tuve un bocado y completamente Sin sabor ni siquiera un toque de naranja. También la actitud de la única Batista que me estaba sirviendo no fue agradable. . . Un poco más de servicio al cliente creo que es necesario.

Lovely little place selling decent wines and freshly roasted coffee. Small but central location, with great service and food available. Not cheap but worth it for the quality.

I had a great night out at Notes, great staff - Aaron is a great asset - good jazz and good wine. Its an odd place - really close to my office but a million miles away in terms of atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend - the staff & Aaron in particular - elevate it enormously.

Una verdadera joya que es escondido en el Gherkin. El ambiente es muy acogedor, y lo más importante, se toman su tiempo para hacer buen café. Temperatura perfecta, fuerte y espuma de café expreso, shot gruesas. Y oh! Tienen mejores donuts con crema pastelera, prometo.

Compact coffee shop and bar. Most seating is upstairs but there is an outdoor seating area which would be great in warmer weather. This is part of The Gherkin building but anyone can access it. It is on the street with a separate entrance to the left of the main entrance. Modern decor, wood clad walls and leather and wood chairs. Serves soup, salads sandwiches and patisserie with their own roasted coffee . Also craft beers, well chosen house wines, craft beers and cocktails. Nice.

I have had coffe from this place which is fine but no better than you local chain - I had some food for the first time on Friday and I won't return. I ordered an almond croissant which at a price of £2.60 which I hoped would be really special however it turned out to be the worst I've ever experienced. The croissant looked like a flying saucer and tasted stale. I would not recommend at all. Avoid the food!

located at the gherkin its a good coffee bar, there are seating inside, upstairs as well. Coffee is very good which is the main thing. yes its a wine bar too.

Previously visited in day for super coffee. But visited after work when this place turns into a small wine bar that offers nibbles/sharing plates. Fantastic wine and Prosseco Cocktails. Lovely atmosphere in small venue. Wine is reasonable price per glass for excellent quality.

Kawiarnia ładna i przyjemna w środku. Obsługa miła i pomocna. Kawa bardzo smaczna. Warto przyjść zarówno na szybką przerwę na kawę jak i dłuższe spotkanie z przyjaciółmi przy kawałku dobrego ciasta.

Great coffee shop. Hidden away at the base of the Gherkin. Nice seating. Excellent quality coffee. Highly recommend in comparison to the large coffee brand shops close by.

I like to see new places like this pop up in London. Though you could argue that there are enough coffee places in the City, you could also argue that many of them are owned by large chains, and this definitely offers something different. For one, it sells alcohol (which is nice to know sometimes!) The staff seem knowledgeable, the coffee is tasty, though I have not got all the way through the different options. My only constructive comment, would be that the service can be slow, and that is one area where it would be good to follow the example set in other chains in the City.

食後にコーヒーを飲みに行きました。テイクアウトにしましたが美味しくてよかったです。また機会があれば行きたいです。

Notes apparently has only a other members of the chain across London. It was so lovely I thought it must have been an independent! Bearing in mind it's at the Gherkin - it was a better option that pret/ starbucks etc. Coffee taken to your table for you. Loo and seating for about 18 upstairs / 15 outside. Caffeine and Cakes in the day and past 5 pm candles, alcohol and munchies. Great first date venue in the city / quick drink before catching the train home sort of venue. I was just doing a few coffees during this afternoon - but I'll be back again. Apparently the banana bread was particularly yummy.

... I really did not expect. Combined with a 'I will bring you the coffee Sir' attitude. And hey what a great idea, later in the day they serve wine.
