Brown's Ruislip in Hillingdon

We both had a fabulous roast beef today. Meat was incredibly tender, was lovely and pink as we both like it. Service was amazing throughout, particularly from Sarah - attentive, super friendly and just a great compliment to the restaurant. ☺️

Went for brunch as a surprise birthday gathering. The staff were great and helped arrange birthday cake at the last moment. My friend didn’t expect it and was overwhelmed with joy. Thank you so much to Floriolan who made it all happen. Food was amazing and came out warm.

Tegan was exceptional and so friendly. She did everything to accommodate all our needs and did it with a smile. I would go as far to say that she made us feel like we were home.

We went to have a family meal. We were shown to our table by Seleka and she made a special effort to make us feel relaxed and happy. Our server was quick and professional and even though I spilt my glass of wine (luckily nearly empty) didn't make a big deal about it and cleaned it up with no fuss. Literally couldn't have done anything else to make our experience any better. However we were seated near the piano and two large parties and we found it quite noisy.

First time we’ve been since it opened. Lovely meal and a great welcome. Our server Sarah was lovely and really friendly.

We visited for lunch yesterday and was served by a lovely waitress called Christine who was very friendly and helpful. The cesar salad was lovely and so was The fish & chips. Would definitely come back.

Christine was our server, looking after three children 3 years and under plus six hungry adults. She did a great job. She encouraged us to put the children’s’ food order through soon after arrival which proved a great success.

The staff are lovely food excellent very clean in there relaxing atmosphere highly recommended for a evening out Christine our waitress went above and beyond making sure we had everything very quickly in ordering Chef Tilly answered all my questions will be going back

We had a lovely breakfast, two adults and our 7 month old baby. All the staff were amazing, but in particular our server Ela! Our little one fell asleep and at no point were we rushed out or made to feel uncomfortable. 10/10 for service!! We both had a traditional breakfast, and it was cooked perfectly. We even got some avocado slices for our little one. Also the background music is great! Already looking forward to going back. A lovely treat on a Sunday morning!

It upsets me to have to write how awful the food was at our Saturday evening dinner. Our main courses were cold. My husband had the salmon. The pak choy was inedible. It was uncooked - cold and completely hard. Rice was in clumps. Not cooked but hard. I really wanted to enjoy this restaurant as a local place and have been to two central London brown venues but sadly the food here was nothing like their other branches. Truly awful.

Lovely venue. The garden was beautiful. Sitting outside and having a few cocktails. Spot on. The starters looked lovely but they were tepid. The main also looked lovely but was also lukewarm. The food was disappointing as mine reached me not hot.
