Master Chef in Hillingdon

I have been going here for years and the food is the best. Clean and friendly atmosphere.

I have eaten here on a number of occasions. On each visit, the staff have been friendly, professional and welcoming. The quality of the food is excellent. Meals are cooked fresh to order, and the portions are very generous. My particular favourite is the cheese and ham omelette. If you want freshly cooked food at reasonable prices, you cannot go wrong by visiting Master Chef.

I’ve been visiting here for a couple of months now and to date I’ve never been disappointed. The premises both internally and externally are immensely immaculate. The owners and staff are always very welcoming, polite and friendly. The food is always piping hot and freshly made to order, and is great value for money. I often struggle to finish all that’s on my plate, the portion sizes are very generous indeed.

We dined here earlier today for brunch. Their breakfast was really nice. Huge portions! Most of their breakfast includes tea or coffee. That was also nice. Eggs were well done. Their bubble is very tasty Good size jacket potato with cheese and beans. They do provide high chairs for babies/toddlers. The toilets are clean. Service is really nice too. Very friendly and they take the plates away and clean the tables after you’ve eaten. I recommend this cafe.

Had a full English breakfast in Master Chef yesterday and it was awful, totally swimming in grease and very unpalatable . Shortly afterwards I felt rumblings in my stomach and needed the toilet quickly, my wife had similar and suffered the same fate. I would not recommend the cafe.

Today was our first time at this restaurant. Unfortunately, my husband found a hair in his food and had only eaten a quarter of his meal when we brought it to the staff's attention. They denied that it was their mistake. Ultimately, we didn't have to pay for his food, but we didn't receive an apology or feel reassured by the situation. We will never go there again.

Nice and clean with friendly staff and quick service. The food is generally good, with decent prices and generous portions. They go heavy on the garlic for the bolognese though! 😅

I had a fantastic time at Master Chef cafe in Ruislip! The English breakfast I ordered was incredibly well-cooked and delicious. The cafe's family-friendly vibe and warm atmosphere made it a welcoming place to enjoy a meal. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a delightful dining experience. PS the food was massive and very good value. Generous portions and excellent value. I left full and satisfied. Will definitely be back.

Found by accident on a Sunday as our usual cafe was closed,but glad we did.The food was perfectly cooked, vegetarian breakfast and millenium breakfast and the staff were welcoming and friendly. We will switch to this cafe now and great it is open till 8.00pm even on a Sunday. 😊 forgot to add that it is spotlessly clean aswel.

Great little restaurant, situated in South Ruislip, good quality food, served hot and plentiful. Quick service with friendly staff who took time with our granddaughters menu choices, all just perfect 🤩👍

Great pub! Huge portions at very good prices for London. We ate grilled pork there - meat with bones and fat, slightly tough but not stringy - perfect for me, chicken something like devolay wrapped with butter inside, and nuggets. Everything served with fries, peas and vegetables. The plate looks identical to the photo from the menu. We also ordered a cappuccino £2.20 for a large cup - very good coffee sprinkled with chocolate. We paid Ł20 for dinner for 2 people (two courses and two coffees). Overall, we highly recommend it!

Lovely restaurant the food was really good. Didn’t have to wait long , before it arrived on our table . When in Ruislip next, hopefully will return.

Good price, tasty food and nice service

This is a consistently good diner. Prices are great and the service is friendly. I recommend the all day mega breakfast. Others like the lamb chops. 2023 and it's still the best of its type.

We are regular customers at Master Chef since it opened. A family owned/run restaurant, the staff excellent, always friendly and the food is freshly cooked. Their roast dinners are great, and their "specials" are great, especially their "Stewed Steak stew", choice of 3 vegetables or rice. The quality of food and portion sizes are super too. For a great choice of hot food for breakfast, lunch or dinner at a good price, you can't beat it. So good! Lots of black & white photographs of Ruislip from years ago on the walls. So interesting.

They have a great choice of (mostly) traditional British food, which is fresh, decent quality, well cooked and excellent value. The restaurant is squeaky clean and the service is pleasant and low-key. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The worst breakfast in the whole of Ruislip!!!not cooked properly!!! They never give the full order or drink! Not only that the man who I spoke to on the phone to complain about it is Disgusting and disrespectful!! Never in my life have I’ve been spoken to how they speak to customers!!! No one go to this disgusting place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am trying to add the photos of the breakfast and they have blocked photos going up!!

Had a nice omlette, good portion. But the service was a bit ... grumpy... Not sure if i will go back as I can get better service with better food elsewhere.

Top place, Food is very nice, always hot, fresh good food, beer and wine served as long a selection of other cold drinks, hot drinks , salads, fish burgers all served with salad chips.

I have been coming to Masterchef for years. The breakfasts are delicious, the service is always speedy and it is so reasonably priced. It's a real gem on the highstreet and they are very child friendly too. I love this place!

First visit since Covid 19 kicked off. Omelette a little too runny inside for me today.

Spotless cafe, excellent variety of meals - not good if you're on a diet, although they have some nice salads. Too much food really! Owner/server not particularly engaging or chatty, but we were served promptly. Very reasonable and great for a quick meal if you don't fancy cooking.

Very popular diner style cafe in the middle of Ruislip Manor. Very clean and warm welcoming decor with plenty of seating. A family owned business, the staff are very friendly and efficient. Large range of dishes from basic fry ups, sandwiches and desserts. Food was served quickly and was piping hot. The only detractor was the lack of vegetarian and vegan options.

After discovering we were unable to eat at a couple of restaurants in Ruislip Manor as they were unable to cater for my wife's rapeseed intolerance we thought we would try Master Chef as we were rather hungry by this stage. Although this cafe/restaurant were not sure what oil they used they were very happy to check. It turns out that they were cooking with soya bean oil which meant we could happily dine there. There was no fuss, no making us feel embarrassed to have a dietary issue, just a willingness to help. They truly deserved our custom. The meals when they arrived were tasty and plentiful. The eaterie is very much a cafe in style and decor. It has a very pleasant atmosphere and obviously enjoys a loyal local clientele. When we got chatting to fellow diners about how helpful the cafe had been they were all very supportive of the eaterie and its owner. Thank you for a warm welcome. We will be back.

We had lovely breakfast, everything tasted fresh and was served promptly, all as ordered. The place looks very clean and well looked after. We will definitely be back, as it’s great to have such a diner locally.

Big portions at a reasonable price. Quite a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Chef and owner chap are friendly too. The place is also lovely and clean. Recommend the jacket potatoes, all day breakfast or vegetarian brunch. Interesting vintage posters and photographs of the Ruislip and Harrow area over the years.

We often go to this restaurant for an evening meal. Food really good, very generous portions and very reasonably priced. the staff are very welcoming and you do not feel rushed. one of our favorite restaurants in the Ruislip Uxbridge area.

Great place for breakfast, and good value

Came into this restaurant as we were in London on the way back home. The moment we came in we were treated with hospitality. This continued though out the time we were there. The food was great and had none of the grease served food that most restaurants give out in fact you will be asking for more not less. The seating area is ample for most events and it's a magical gem of a find which we will use when ever we are in this part of the world. Thanksyou to the manager and staff much appreciated.

Been eyeing this one for a while. Wanted a basic cafe meal. Great service run by a friendly family. Food was good, nice portions and very satisfying. Only criticism, the tables were too near the chairs, and not enough room for ma big belly !

In a world of Brioche Buns this great cafe serves the BEST burger in town! Normal burger bun (for someone with Lactose Intolerance this is great news), fried onions and great fries! The staff are friendly, cafe is clean and they serve beer! I love this place and I'm a true regular.

I have been a regular customer at Master Chef for a number of years. A family owned and run business, the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable, the food is freshly cooked and whilst one could think that it is a "chips with everything" type of café, it is far more than that. Their roast dinners are excellent, for example and their "specials" are well worth trying, especially their "Stewed Steak", (essentially a beef stew), which appears occasionally, available with three vegetables or rice. They are famous locally for the quality of their food and the quantities provided. No-one ever leaves Master Chef hungry! Quite honestly, if you want a decent meal at a very reasonable price, look no further. It's that good!

Great cafe with loads of variety in choices of food/menu. Not that full of people either, I've been on a Saturday afternoon & it's fairly busy but not crowded Staff are excellent, and food delicious & freshly prepared / cooked.

You will never leave here hungry, home style food at its best,the food always comes out fast and hot with full plates .Its the best place to eat in the Ruislip area if you are on a budget or like value for your money.The Ham,cheese and mushroom omelette with sides is massive,full and fab. Sometimes i wonder how they can make money at the prices they charge. Always rates a 5* on their health inspections .
