I really really really enjoyed my meal here! It’s just such a perfect date night setting & the staff are just lovely in every way! Super hospitable and great ambience. I really need to give a special shoutout to Caitlyn M who was our waitress & her manner was just outstanding, a real credit to the team! As for Valentina, she’s just so hospitable and a great host! If you’re looking for the perfect date spot this is IT!!! You won’t regret it! My highlights were the roasted heritage carrots, the raddichi salad, spiced cod and chips, chickpea and coconut curry, crème brûlée & brownie. Do not skip dessert!!! The desserts are incredibleeeee!!! I also need to add that there was a live singer and her voice is angelic!! She did a rendition of Brittney which was incredible !! All videos and photos attached

Great lunch before starlight express…. Amelia the waitress was so helpful and lovely! Would definitely recommend! The Pinot Grigio was lovely & cold, nice glasses. They let us have a half hour break before having the main course. Amelia couldn’t have done more for us.

Such a cosy atmosphere. We had pre-booked and received very polite, friendly welcome and service from all the staff we encountered. Food was quick, came out really hot and fresh. Burger was probably the best one I think I’ve ever eaten, so tasty. Pudding I had the Brownie Sundae. Don’t do what I did when I said to my husband ‘is that it?’ at the size of the glass!! It’s deceiving and seemed never ending! Best ice cream in it too, so smooth and creamy! Came away in a very warm and happy food coma! Would definitely recommend!

Travelled to London for the day and came here as it was the most convenient place to eat before watching Starlight Express. My friend and I ordered the fish and chips, expecting a good quality dish as it was £22 but it did not meet our expectations at all. Really disappointed. Came out just about warm, presentation could be better and measly amount of mushy peas. Also bit concerning it came out in less than 10 and music was quite overbearing too. Staff were friendly.

Excellent place for lunch. Food was excellent. No sauvignon wine but recommended an English wine that was very good and would definitely drink again. We had set menu. Great food and great price. Recommend highly

We had an excellent meal; food was tasty and catered to our family’s dietary restrictions (GF, DF). Our server Rushikesh was fab; friendly, smiling yet oh so efficient and professional. It was a great surprise to find out that the restaurant connected directly to Wembley Park theatre so it was a perfect place for pre/post show meal. Thank you for a great meal and experience!!

Excellent pre theatre meal. Both a la carte and set menus had very good choice of options, as did the children’s menu. Between our party we ate off all three menus and everyone had delicious well cooked food. Just what we needed before seeing Starlight Express. Not the cheapest meal but really added to our special family day out.

Incredible post theatre dinner! We saw the matinee performance and headed here after, the food and service was incredible, really good value and quality. Staff all very friendly and accommodating. Food was quick out without feeling rushed or lacking in quality. Would definitely recommend!

Menu poor, limited choice. Ordered starters to be told there wasn’t any in stock. Asked for condiments didn’t arrive. Food average. 12.5% service charge. Wouldn’t go there again.

Service good but food poor and little of it.The vegetarian wellington came with pigs in blankets..eww! Very average all round. One potato on my plate that tasted of meat. I could cook far better.

Pre dinner prior to theatre. Dinner underwhelming and pigs in blankets served with a vegetarian meal! Potatoes cooked in animal fat as could taste it. Desserts average. Partner had meat but average. Overpriced, underwhelmed..could cook better myself. Reminded me of school dinners.

chicken was great but the beef was just two slices on a plate and that was basically it, no potato no greens atmosphere was nice and they had live music that started at 7 but we only heard a little, overall quite nice but be careful what you order

We were a group of 7, eating after Starlight Express matinee. It was my 2nd time and everyone else's 1st time. It was excellent. All of the experience was amazing. Throughly recommend eating there.

Perfect pre or post theatre location. We booked in advance which was good as they weren't taking walk-ins on the evening we visited. Food was delicious. Would have been good to have been told what was off the menu before we ordered, butplentyof other choices. Very accommodating to change the vegetable choice on the menu. Liqueur coffees would be a nice extra touch. Excellent staff. Thank you

We went for dinner pre- show last night and were pleasantly surprised by the decor and ambiance, as well as the warm welcome from the young female maitre d. My husband ordered the burger and chips and I ordered the risotto - both were tasty and priced well. My daughter was after the whole grilled aubergine but at £23 for an aubergine with a bit of tahini and raita we felt it was not worth the price. The fillet of salmon with pea shoots and hollandaise sauce for £23 was equally not very good value. So she ordered the Asian spiced fish and chips. Our waitress was inattentive and not very well informed about the menu. She came back a minute after placing our order to say “I forgot we’re out of fish and chips”. I had also ordered tea for my husband, who had not arrived yet, and asked for her to only bring it when he arrived but she brought it with the other drinks anyway - it’s a pet peeve of mine (having been in the hospitality industry) to have wait staff who don’t listen to their patrons. My daughter ended up ordering the beef cheek in red wine sauce with carrot purée and roasted fennel, which was very tender and tasty but unfortunately she had to order an additional roast potato side to make it a substantial meal. Overall not a bad experience but not amazing and the sting in the tail was the undeserved 12.5% service fee added automatically to the bill.

I thought long and hard about this review and whether I should write it or not, but I decided that I needed to give others a view of our meal at studio five. We booked the pre-show dinner for my daughter and grandson from America as we were taking them to see Starlight express. When we arrived, the menu had changed and we were given a “festive” menu. Not the one I’ve seen when we were booking. Given the limited options three of us chose to have the roast turkey dinner, my grandson who didn’t actually want anything on the menu opted for the Ox cheeks after some discussion. Well, what can I say in terms of the roast turkey dinner? We were very disappointed. There was one roast potato two pieces of carrot some kale and Brussels sprouts two slices of turkey breast resting on less than a tablespoon of stuffing and a soubsant of gravy. The Brussels sprouts were uncooked and crunchy. The kale was tough and difficult to chew. I’ve had better dinners in my life working in schools cooked by our school cooks. My grandson tried the ox cheeks but couldn’t eat them. The upshot of it was two of our party left walked down the road in the pouring rain to McDonald’s and proceeded to order food and eat it on the way back to the restaurant. We then went onto the desert. We chose to have the brownie sundae and the fruit crumble. The fruit was tasty, but the crumb dusting on the top didn’t resemble any crumble at all and the pieces of brownie in the sundae were rockhard and there were no hazelnuts and raisins as described on the menu All in all I think the cost of the meal was not value for money at over £30 a head.

What a crappy day but the highlight was our pre theatre dinner at Studio Five. Managed to turn up to starlight express, settle in to our brilliant seats, to find out the seats had been double booked. Oh no they hadn’t, we’d got the date wrong and missed it by a week. But as we set off on our 2hr drive home, a black gloom in the car, the one consolation was that we had a very good supper at Studio Five. Amazing looking burgers for everyone else and salmon with some beautifully seasoned veg for me. And they were all smily, polite, helpful and fitted in perfectly with the theatre timings. Honestly they were worth the 4 hours of driving!

We ate here before seeing Starlight Express, of course, as the restaurant is very conveniently situated within the building complex. What a joy! Wonderful friendly and efficient staff, a cosy and welcoming ambience and lovely food, well presented. Highly recommended.

Unexpected surprise! Received an email to join for a pre-show meal and thought it would be the easiest thing since we're from out of town. The restaurant set the tone for the whole afternoon! Food was excellent, best beef cheeks my husband has ever had. Service was spot on and everyone was in a great mood!

We had booked for 21 people after the show and pre-ordered. Everything went extremely smoothly. The food was delicious and the staff delightful and attentive. I would recommend this restaurant/bar to anyone visiting the show. Far better than the street food options and so convenient being on site. A great day out for all concerned.

We went after seeing a show at The Troubadour Wembley Theatre. A few minute walk and we were seated immediately. Portobello Wellington was scrumptious. Fish and chips not traditional British style but still good. Daughter had burger/fries and devoured it. Service was nothing great nothing necessarily bad either. I would recommend this restaurant.

Went to see Starlight Express, and decided to dine here first. It was my sister’s birthday treat. We opted for the Christmas menu. Great food, and dessert. The service was excellent. Very friendly staff. Atmosphere was brilliant. Highly recommended by us.

Strange experience. At the Initial greeting, we were made to feel like an inconvenience. Waited ages for food when the place was empty. Asked the waitress if vegetables were included, she said yes, they weren't. Pasta with tomato sauce, was very very sweet? Salmon was good and creme brulee was good. Expensive for what we got. Male waiter was nice.

Wonderful place to do supper before Starlight Express. It was especially easy to have a restaurant right in the very place of the show.

Booked pre theatre (adjoining) based on reviews and had a really lovely dinner here. Restaurant is really nice atmosphere, we sat in a lovely booth. Plenty of food choices and the food I had (samosas and the burger) were really good. Above all, the welcome and service throughout was excellent. Highly recommend.

I also liked the restaurant's design - love the blue colour. :) Your bag(s) get checked when entering - because later you can enter the Starlight Express venue directly from the restaurant and that's very handy - no queuing! Absolutely gorgeous meal. Too many highlights to mention, (prawns were incredible) vegan dessert needs a bit of work but everything else was sumptuous - the sticky toffee 😋🤤. We' d been excited about the live music, and it was an excellent jazz singer, but it started just a short time before we were due in the theatre so we only heard a few songs hence the 4 stars for atmosphere. The staff were attentive, friendly and skilled without being intrusive, and the pre theatre menu felt great value for money for a delicious meal.

Called in here before we attended Starlight Express. The experience was first class. The service was fast and efficient. Our waitress, Tam , was excellent. The meals we had, rib steak, sea bass and the burger were very good. I could not fault the restaurant. Thank you for a very enjoyable meal. As a bonus the restaurant has a direct link to the theatre and the show was amazing

I hesitated between 2 and 3 stars. I went with 2 because there was nothing particularly satisfactory about our experience here and I wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend anyone to go either. We had booked the pre-theatre meal thinking it would be the perfect solution to be in no rush for the theatre and catering for adults and children. One of the children's meals was advertised as fish and chips. It came with no chips!! Just veg - which my veg-averse 6 year old was delighted with :-( We asked for the chips and they came just as we were finishing our main courses! My daughter had the pasta with tomato sauce which was actually inedible. I don't know how that is even possible. I ended up sharing my chicken and chips with her. We had asked for normal chips but they were a bit spicy too (not great for my kids). The adults meals of chicken and beef were fine - not great but edible at least. Then they brought us a bill when I had paid in advance (surely this was registered on the booking for the table??). But the real cherry on the cake was the fact that we had got in there at 5.40pm (our table was booked for 6pm but thankfully we arrived early) and only just made it for the last call for the theatre and had to run to make it to our seats. An absolute farce.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Studio Five and it was a great place to eat before seeing Starlight Express. The staff were really friendly and professional, and the food was excellent. I also thought the set menu was really reasonably priced given the location. I would definitely eat here again if I was seeing something in the Wembley area.

We saw the 2.30pm Starlight performance then walked through the corridor into Studio Five, very convenient too. We’d booked a 5.30 table, could’ve made it 5pm actually. Anyhoo, family of 6, we all really enjoyed it alot and the staff were great. Lovely environment. Foodwise: The pressed ham hock starter was good; as were the king prawns. The roasted half chicken cafreal with the chilli fries was excellent. Fish n chips, and burger all went down well too. Kids enjoyed their food too. But I’ve gone with 4 stars for food because of the pudding which, the ginger sticky toffee pudding was disappointing: I think it was a microwave job, the bowl was warm but the pudding not and it was an odd somewhat cold hard spongy congealment covered with sauce and ice cream. The Creme brûlée on the other hand was lovely. So overall recommended. We would definitely go there again though. It was a great way to conclude our Starlight Express experience.

We had an amazing lunch at Studio 5 before watching Starlight. The food was delicious - fantastic flavours and beautifully cooked and presented. The staff couldn’t have been more lovely - attentive, friendly and efficient. Great atmosphere and really lovely touches for the kids with the Halloween mocktail and menu that turned into a train. Definitely recommend!

We were booked in at Studio 5 for lunchtime on Wednesday 23rd October at 12.45pm. At 12.04pm we received an email to confirm that our table had been cancelled with no reason for the cancellation. We were very disappointed, but looked for somewhere else to eat before going to watch the show of StarLight Express. We arrived home that evening and we were notified that due to US cancelling our table, we had been charged on our credit card £40.00 cancellation fee. Contacted Studio 5 on two occasions by email for our money to be refunded back to us and no one has bothered to reply . We are very upset that we are £40.00 out of pocket due to no fault of ours.

Came for a meal before Starlight Express. Really enjoyed it. Great staff and it's attached to the theatre so you can just go straight through.

This is a beautiful restaurant with amazing food and incredibly attentive staff. The live music is an added bonus and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Unfortunately the waiter didn't know what was included in our prepaid pre dinner meal which meant we had to tell him. We sat with our starter plates on the table for 25 minutes before chasing them because we were running out of time to be at the performance. When our mains finally came it was without one of the sides and no cutlery was provided. My friend ate with a spoon in the end as we didn't have time to wait any longer. The singer who performed was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Just a shame the service was slow and not up to scratch

Our visit here prior to watching Starlight Express made the whole trip that extra bit special. The staff were amazing as well as the live singer entertaining us before and after the show. I would 100% recommend adding this pre and post show. The food was lovely and they had lovely touches like Starlight Express named cocktails to enjoy too! Lovely touch!

The kitchen was a bit slow but the food and the restaurant service more than made up for it.

Food was very good but my husband was limited to only one main since he cannot eat garlic. Luckily it was very good. We had said on the booking firm about the intolerance but next time we will contact them directly in advance.

We had a pre show meal here, it was a little bit of a treat for my Fiancée for his 30th Birthday! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was good and it was a really nice chilled atmosphere, its was furnished so nicely it was modern and elegant but also cosy! The service was absolutely amazing. The girm serving us was so friendly, I don't know what her name was but she took time to chat to us and was very knowledgeable on the dishes and made some really good recommendations! Very friendly and a really lovely experience!

My friend and I visited yesterday for lunch prior to seeing Starlight Express. We had a very friendly welcome. We had a choice of menu between a la carte and a set menu. We chose the set menu, which was good value for money and portion size. I recommend the chicken. It was delicious. The meal was leisurely but the staff were attentive. A great start to our theatre experience. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Top quality service. Food was great too.

Quality of the food was average. Two of us ordered a plate of greens sautéed in garlic. I believe they were kale and very hard to chew. The flavor was good but they were too chewy. My friend ate one bite and no more. The menu is quite limited. The dining room is large and there were empty tables. We did not feel rushed. The service was slow. We asked to have everything brought out at the same time but that didn’t happen. We were a party of three, my friends are a couple and I am solo. Initially the waitress said she could make them a tab and mine on another. When it came time to pay the bill we were told they could only split it three ways. That is a made up rule. We were going to Starlight Express, coming from another country we fell for the follow up email to reserve dinner at Studio 5 as it is so close. Don’t fall for it as there are numerous restaurants within one block from which to choose. Pros - not rushed Cons - limited menu, splitting the bill issue, slow service, overpriced and inedible sautéed greens.

Given the price I was expecting better. I had the two course set menu (fish and chips and summer berry crumble). The fish was nice, the chips seemed like they were just frozen ones and there was about half a spoonful of mushy peas. You get charged a £5 supplement for the fish and chips, I assume because you get an additional side with the set menu. However none of the sides really go with the fish and chips so we paid £5 extra for nothing really. Surely just don’t charge the extra £5 and say that the fish and chips don’t come with an extra side as they already have sides. The fruit crumble was nice but cold as it had been sitting on the side a while before coming to the table. They charged us a £27 service charge when the service was slow and we asked three different people for the bill. The only real positives were the staff who were very nice, the cocktails and it being so close to the theatre. We only went because we went to the theatre and we aren’t local to the area so didn’t really know where else to eat. If you do know other places I would suggest you go there, other wise you are paying expensive prices for less than average food!

If only we lived nearer! Food and staff were excellent, had the 3 course after show menu and cocktails. Only very small negative, cocktail was described as coming with blackberries, but actually turned up with raspberries and summer berry crumble was mainly apple🥴😪

Our first visit here was great. We had a pre-show dinner which was very good and had excellent service. We had to leave before the live music started unfortunately. Would be happy to recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a decent pre-show dining experience.

What a fantastic meal, went with my wife, we had the pressed ham hock & king prawns to start followed by the cheek of beef with hand cut chips and green vegetables . It was all perfectly cooked. The beef was not stringy as slow cooked beef can be at times. The service we received was attentive and efficient. A perfect place to eat before your show. The Chapel Down Grand Reserve is a lovely wine. I wish I had took some photos of the food.

The mussels I had were very gritty, the burger my granddaughter had was a disgrace the chicken I had was badly presented as there was nothing with it apart from a bowl of "weedy stuff" the chicken wasn't great anyway. The fries were ordered for as a starter and had to be asked for again. There was no menu or drinks list on our table. The cocktails took forever to be served. My granddaughter works part time in a lovely restaurant ( similar prices to yours for much better food and nicer presentation) she was horrified at the slovenly way that your staff were behaving all over Studio 5, and the lady that gave us our table could not have been more disinterested at our arrival at 5-15 yesterday ( 5th September)

We came straight from "Starlight Express" into Studio Five for a family meal: - great food; served promptly; staff were excellent; the band providing 'background' music were also excellent: all in all, a super night out for our family. Thanks to everyone at Studio Five.

Very impressed with the food here! The grilled prawn starter might be some of the best prawns I’ve had and the combination of flavours was incredible on the fish and chips and the spicy fries in particular - don’t think I’ll be able to enjoy normal fish and chips again after having them here! The service from the staff was impeccable throughout our meal and we will certainly be visiting again.

Food was excellent. The seabass was perfectly cooked... but the menu says it comes with salad. It doesn't. It only comes with corriander. It needs to say just seabass.

The ambiance is fantastic, the restaurant is clean, and the food is delicious. The service is prompt and the waitstaff are excellent. The prices are reasonable, and the place is new and well-maintained.

The food was ok, a few extra touches and it would have been much better. The service was a bit slow but they were very friendly. The disappointing part was a singer and the band. We were looking forward to the life music. I think she didn’t start until 7:45 and supposed to start much earlier. Then many and long breaks when customers were dining. I do know they need a break but I thought they weren’t interested in entertaining the guests.

We booked for a Pre-performance meal prior to seeing Starlight Express. All I can say is the food and service were excellent and set the scene for a fabulous performance at the theatre. Thank you guys, you deserve the 5 stars.

Went here prior to seeing the show Starlight Express. The restaurant was themed for the show which added to the whole experience, there was also the bonus that you can access the theatre from inside the restaurant cutting out the whole queue for the theatre too! Bonus! The menu and food was lovely along with the friendly staff who we had a long chat to. The restaurant itself is large and spacious, no steps for access which is good, so wheelchair accessible. Comfortable seating and a great atmosphere made for a decent experience. Based on this visit, would totally recommend especially as an add on before a show.

We booked up as part of our Starlight Express tickets and it was bang on! Welcoming staff weren’t great but the table service, food, top show tips were second to none! So glad we bought a package and enjoyed some live music in the bar after the show. Special thanks to Caitlin for the hospitality ❤️

Dined early before Springsteen concert, very good standard of food and service, lovely atmosphere

Was looking for somewhere before the theatre where we could book seating, and this fit the bill. The venue is pleasant, very convenient, and some nice English sparkling wine on the list. The food was disappointing and service was slow and erratic. Items requested were brought slowly or not at all ("we've run out", I was told, after asking again after waiting for 15 minutes for water). I had the boneless Sea Bass which did have bones, and wasn't very tasty. The Fish and Chips was also poor. Also watch out for the set menu which costs more than ordering some items separately! I would look elsewhere if visiting again.

Great food and table service was excellent despite original welcome at the door was a little frosty. (Maybe she was having a bad day!) Minor order issue was sorted very quickly and there was a subsequent reduction in the final bill.
