Elegant, romantic place, perfect for couples, very convivial. Very good grilled meat. I recommend going there and then taking a walk on the Alberto Bridge.

My son took me for lunch to celebrate my birthday. The staff were lovely, friendly whilst maintaining professionalism. The food was nothing short of outstanding. Rarely have I had such a superb meal.

I had a birthday dinner here and loved it. The outside is very decorative. We were welcomed warmly and shown upstairs to our table. The decor is pretty, think art deco/1920’s/brasserie zedel vibes but cozier and warmer. The bread and butter was warm and salty (how it should be). We had crab and prawns as starters and then prawns and foie gras as a main. I love foie gras and this was superb. The prawns were also delicious and tasty. They had a good soft char to them. For pudding we had mouse and crumble. The crumble was 11/10. I drank gavi and it was a great bottle. We also had a virgin mojito which was highly rated. Food and service was immaculate. Pound for pound one of my favourite meals of all time. Would highly recommend and would go back.

My wife and I love coming to 50 cheyne, it’s our favourite restaurant in London. It is beautifully done inside and out. The staff are fantastic and we are always very well looked by Alessandro, Fabrice and the rest of the team. The food and drinks are equally superb and never disappoint. All the friends, colleagues and family we have brought with us have loved it too. Thank you for everything and we cannot wait to return again soon!

This is without a doubt, the best restaurant in London! My husband and I have been many times over the last 2 years, alone and with our families and every time has been a joy. From the food to the service to the vibe, it’s 10/10. The staff are so attentive and the food is always incredible! Can’t recommend it enough :)

Had a really lovely time at No. 50 Cheyne. Went with a group of friends and they really looked after us. Had amazing food and great atmosphere. The beef Wellington was particularly impressed. We were served by Rosa and she was very attentive and not phased by the big group! Thanks again.

Well, this is the best place I have ever found to have a proper Sunday roast. The roast potatoes are incredible. The interior of this beautiful Georgian house restaurant is outstanding with walls decorated in an art deco style in a Japanese lacquer. The service is impeccable and surprising needs a wine list is quite reasonable for the quality of wine that is served the spicy pear old-fashioned is an outstanding cocktail.

Sunday roast was a disappointment- real shame as our expectations were very high. Cut of beef meat was small and the rest of the plate was filled with vegetables and potatoes which seems to have been reheated in the over multiple times Sadly won’t go again and plenty of other really good Sunday roasts for half of the price in London.

Food and service was superb. This visit alone reminded me what I work overtime for. A real luxury experience that will be remembered and revisted fondly.

My wife and l dined at No. Fifty Cheyne the other evening and were very glad we did so. Their midweek surf and turf promotion provides amazing value for money and makes this fantastic restaurant admirably accessible to locals on all budgets. I actually had the set menu, with each course being flawless. A carafe of Rioja made a lovely accompaniment. We'll definitely be returning. Move over Medlar this is our new favourite neighbourhood restaurant.

Instantly one of our London favourites!! Walking into No. 50, the decor instantly evokes curiosity and excitement. The warm and welcoming team bring calm to your dining experience, and later Alessandro treated us to a spontaneous aperitif tasting session!! Food is of a very high quality, with some of the best cuts and seafood grilled expertly to order. Side dishes bring out the venue's flair and flavour, including the biggest chips we've encountered yet. Hispi cabbage and seared broccoli invited levantine flavours to a table that fast became one of our 2025 favourites. Desserts were a fitting follow up, tasty and inventive yet not too heavy. Drinks throughout were high quality and attentively poured by the team. Overall, No. 50 is firmly up there with Chelsea's best and we are delighted to have found such a high quality spot with a retained neighbourhood feel. We will most certainly be back!!

Updated review: We returned to No. Fifty Cheyne and were very disappointed with our experience. I’ve updated my review from 5-stars to 2-stars. Shortly after being seated the maître d’ came to our table and asked if we had any allergies. I said a had a dairy allergy to which the maître d’ made a face and then walked away from the table without saying a word. Excuse me?! I’m sorry to have inconvenienced you with our patronage. Our server was friendly but there were some errors/issues with our meal. The Cumbrian Chicken was dry and arrived with roast trimmings missing and we had to ask our server to correct this. The sausage stuffing that did accompany the Cumbrian Chicken was cold. The ribeye steak was underwhelming. When it came time to pay the bill we noticed we were significantly overcharged for one of our meals vs. what was priced on the menu. We had to ask the server to correct this error. Overall a very disappointing roast lunch and we definitely won’t be returning. ***** Delicious Sunday roast. Really great meal and we would happily return. However, be prepared for a fairly loud dining experience.

One of my favourite restaurants in London.

So, service was fine, it's quite fancy for my standards but there was nothing to fault and I don't particularly care about the service as long as it's fine. The food however was nice, I had the beef wellington with the truffle fries and cream spinach side. Look, it tasted good but it was nothing insane. Considering it's the most expensive meal I've ever had in my life I was hoping for it to at least taste amazing. I haven't had any other beef wellingtons to compare it to but it was complimented well by the bone marrow gravy. I personally really liked the mash and truffle fries, I don't feel like the spinach complimented it well although we were recommended it (I do generally like spinach too). For the price of around £76? I'd give it a 3/5. It's a shame there's no value rating on here. If I'm paying £76 I expect at least 8/10 food. I would give this place a 7/10 on food alone. Come here when they have their weekday deals and I think it would be a great bargain. The regular prices definitely aren't worth returning for sadly.

A wintry late Sunday lunch. 50 Cheyne the perfect place. The food was superb , the staff super welcoming and efficient. Roast beef was perfect .

Really poor experience overall. Been here before and it was excellent but disappointing today. Got the beetroot salad and pappardelle, both of which were average. The mains took ages to come and were clearly sitting out a while as it wasn't particularly warm Service was abysmal. Our server clearly had no interest in being there, had to wave him down multiple times, not attentive or interested, and frankly sloppy

Beef rib was medium rare, tasty but too much fat/nerve bits which had to be removed, carrots were quite hard and cabbage was bit burnt, bone marrow was nice, potatoes were crispy but inside were hard. Coffee was good and dessert was the best bit, chocolate fondant and sticky toffee pudding were to die for. The service was slow and it took more than half an hour for the roast to come and tables were very close to each other. Recommend to try once.

My partner and I went for lunch yesterday and we both came away saying it was faultless. Upon arriving the hostess welcomed us on to the smart yet relaxed dining space. The staff were all incredibly attentive and friendly - even providing a dog bed for my Daschund. Now onto the food…A Saturday roast is a genius idea! We had starters - cheese fondue and the beetroot with goats curd salad follow by the roast for main. I can without a doubt say it’s the best roast we’ve had in London and there’s strong competition. Drinks were also excellent. The burnt pear old fashioned was exceptional. The wine with our lunch was also very good. We can’t wait to return and haven’t stopped raving about it to our friends. Thank you again for a wonderful lunch.

My girlfriend and I came here for lunch and we were blown away by the quality of the food and the service for the price.i had the Thermidor white crab soufflé with lobster bisque sauce and caramelised onions was out of this world especially for lunch and price!! My girlfriend had the beetroot salad with butternut squash and carrot and a whipped goats cheese curd pickled pears omg was very refreshing and light! For main I had the fillet of hake with leeks confit potatoes cauliflower and truffle sauce, my girlfriend had the wild mushroom parpadelle pasta with Brussel sprouts, squash and herb pesto some crispy turnip leaves and Parmesan sauce! We were both so stuffed after having some beautifully and elegantly flavours put on the plate by the chefs!!! And an amazing front of house team! Looked after us and were very welcoming!!!Thank you so much for a wonderful meal! This is now my favourite restaurant in London!

This is not the place for us. Service was generally good although my soup was sent to the wrong table and there was a flurry of chatter between servers as they finally figured out that it was mine. It’s never a good feeling when your food touches down at the wrong table, under the nose of a stranger. If you’re after light, bright flavors this is not the restaurant for you. Artichoke soup was heavy on salt and lukewarm. Papardelle was literally an island of pasta surrounded by a four inch ring of Parmesan sauce which totally overwhelmed the dish.

Perfect experience from the first moment to the last. Great service, delicious food and wonderful atmosphere.

Below expectations in terms of food, especially vs 4-5 years ago. Service could be better not all staff is up to the standards of the place and the overall atmosphere is impacted becoming more commercial less refined. Overrated for what it actually delivers and it is a shame as it used to be much higher standards

The Sunday roast was perfectly cooked with a generous portion and their sticky toffee pudding is genuinely the best I’ve ever had! The atmosphere and the decoration, absolutely stunning. The highlight of our visit however, was the service. Athanasios and the team at No.50 Cheyne made our experience unforgettable! It’s not often you visit a restaurant where you feel how much they are happy to have you and serve you. The absolute best! Definitely visiting again!

Excellent service through and through; amazing wines… and the steak was absolutely gorgeous… I will be returning…. And definitely already recommended. Needless to say, the ladies were super accommodating and helpful as I dined with my 18 month toddler. Very friendly.

Al llegar tuvimos un saludo muy agradable aparte de música muy alta. Nos mostraron a nuestra mesa que estaba al lado de 4 señoras que se gritaban entre sí porque la música era muy alta. Pedí que me trasladaran a una mesa más tranquila, lo que hicieron arriba y me dijeron que era el “ambiente” los domingos, aunque todavía ruidoso. Empezamos con los arancini y soldados de masa madre que eran aceptables 6 / 10 seguido de la carne asada que estaba impactando una rebanada delgada de carne de res grisácea 2 patatas asadas que eran buenas nada más en el plato era realmente muy apetitoso. Este es un chef perezoso y un restaurante que está dando por sentado a sus clientes. Qué lástima que las instalaciones y el personal se esfuercen. Ve a otro lugar, no pierdas tu tiempo o dinero.

I can see how a visit might be worth it when the cut price offers are on but today we paid full price for some good but not great roast dinners, the staff seemed like they were all brand new (no one said hello or greeted me when I walked in despite several hanging around at the entrance and I only knew where to sit as my friends were waving, our waiter seemed nervous and one waitress who took a drinks order said she didn't feel able to advise on wine). Dogs are allowed and one yapped throughout which ruined the ambience. I wouldn't return.

We had our wedding reception at 50 Cheyne and it was amazing from start to finish! The staff truly went above and beyond to make our day special, looking after us in every possible way. A special mention to Alice, who was simply incredible – she ensured that everything ran smoothly on the day, giving us complete peace of mind. Every member of the team was friendly, attentive, and couldn’t do enough for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone looking for an exceptional venue and service!

I really love 50 Cheyne and have eaten here several times, the ambience and staff are great and it's a lovely venue. However I was very disappointed by the roast dinner yesterday. The portion of chicken was very small and I don't even eat a lot and it also wasn't served with any vegetables. The roast hasdecreased in size since I last dined here in June. I'm not sure how you can justify the price of 36 pounds for a Sunday roast that small. The staff were very good and brought me extra potato however they now only serve the chicken with potato and carrots no other vegetables unless you pay extra. I would love to return but only if the portions are reverted back to the previous size.

Fantastic food and service. The restaurant has the class of Cheyne walk. We had a 3 course sharing meal which is more than enough for 2 people. The atmosphere is excellent, they have a cozy bar counter upstairs.

Coming from France, we discovered with undisguised pleasure the cuisine of this restaurant. Beautiful cooking, beautiful sauces (even if the combination of pesto and truffle sauce is a little too much). Added to this is a pleasant welcome, a very pretty setting and menus at unreasonably low prices at lunchtime.

I just had a lunch with my daughter @ 50 Cheyne ambience was so beautiful a warm welcome with Josephine she was looking after us all the time.Met the Chef Rafael he was down to earth even serves our starter.I don't really comments but this place was exceptional a Very highly recommended place for fine dining.

Fantastic Sunday Roast. Can’t wait to go again

We came for the tastes of fifty lunchtime menu recently to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. I was so excited to find somewhere special but affordable to treat to her to amazing food in a gorgeous space with wonderful service. The staff were so friendly and warm, making us feel special but not being overbearing! Each plate was delicious, my girlfriend was delighted to have some birthday chocolates and we felt really well looked after - thank you so much to your staff for making it a really memorable experience, we hope to be back soon!

Wow truly a very nice experience. We came on a Thursday evening for the surf and turf and had the sharing set menu with lobster, ossu bucco and souffle. All three courses were absolutely wonderful, the lobster was delicate, buttery and full of herbs, the ossu bucco was massive and rich, could have easily fed 3-4 people and would recommend sides with that, and the souffle was fresh, zesty and a soft nice texture, paired well with the coconut passionfruit ice cream. Loved the decor, the plating and the service was great. All this paired with the wine was a beautiful and decadent experience. Thank you and would come again after digesting my food coma.

An amazing dining experience with delicious food and exceptionally friendly staff. The chef personally presented our two Beef Wellingtons before serving them, and we had a delightful conversation with him and the other wonderful team members. We spent a week in London dining at fine restaurants every evening, but this one was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip.

Not coming back again. Food was great but service isnt the best. Sunday roast served without gravy. Asked why this is so and one of the matrons said it had gravy when clearly the plate was dry as the grill. She lied to my face as if I couldnt tell. Giving 2 stars for service just because the first and last members of staff we interacted with were nice and friendly.

THE BEST!!!! We got married at 50 Cheyne this week and they were incredible. Service was outstanding, food was incredible and they were so accommodating with us, I can’t thank them enough. We had our wedding ceremony there along with an intimate lunch followed by a wedding party. Our guests absolutely loved it! I can’t write this review without mentioning Alice, the most amazing event manager! She was so good and knew exactly what we wanted! She cares so much about what she does and it really showed! She really made our day so special for us! Raffaele also has to get a mention for cooking the most incredible food, it was amazing! And he is such a lovely, kind person too. Ilaria was also amazing and Zeli, the sweetest lady who had such patience whilst looking after our little boy. Can’t recommend enough and will definitely be going back every year for our anniversary!

Went to No 50 for celebrating my 20th (!) wedding anniversary. Friendly and professional reception, excellent home-made bread. Went for the “surf’n’turf”, and blown away by the food: excellent quality of ingredients, amazingly prepared. Their choice of champagne is simply perfect: the Ruinart brut is among my favourites. To celebrate the occasion, the staff did their very best, and we felt very special that night. That is not anything granted to find in more prestigious venues.Thank you, No 50!Really enjoyed my time at No 50 and looking forward to visiting them again soon.

Everything about this place was awesome, the food was amazing, we had the lobster, scallop and cote de boeuf that’s enough for two and happened to go on their half off days and oh my word… It has to be a place I would recommend to anyone who would hear. Fantastic everything perfect for date night as well and just beautiful all round Well done!!

We had a fantastic welcome when we arrived at the restaurant. The staff made a fuss of my two young children. The decor, the service, the food, the drink and the atmosphere were all great. My family and I had a wonderful Sunday lunch at 50 Cheyne yesterday. I have no complaints.

We loved visiting with our family. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. We had preordered the Wellington which was absolutely mind blowing! Best Wellington we’ve ever had!

What a disappointing experience. We waited 50 minutes for our beef wellington, only to see it brought to a nearby table that had ordered theirs just 10 minutes before then. When we informed our server, he assured us that ours was on its way. Meanwhile, another server tried to get his attention to correct the mistake. After a couple of minutes, we received sliced beef wellington without being shown the whole one. When I asked the server if they had mistakenly served ours to the other table, she mentioned they sometimes show a sample from the kitchen to customers. I requested to see it, but she claimed they didn't have it. Instead of acknowledging the error, they compounded it. It's disappointing because we are frequent visitors and the food is usually excellent, but this time the service was a letdown. We won't be returning.

Had the most amazing dinner at 50 Cheyne last night with a close friend. The beef wellington was just amazing & was paired with a lovely bottle of malbec. So cosy & perfect winter restaurant. Fantastic value for the 3 course and champagne. Delicious too! As its such great value, all tables are full and despite this, the service is fantastic. Timely hot delicious food. A huge thank you to Martina and Leke who acted on every request without hesitation and you could see were working on 200% capacity. They checked every table, moving around all the time, constantly ensuring prompt service, topping up water and wine on the way. This is exceptional as most restuarants cannot keep up that level of dedication and service. Excellent!

Delicious food, excellent food, good price performance

My modus operandi is to order the most ridiculous, and easily messed up thing on the menu. Bingo. Rump roast - not great when made on the day of. Silverskin not trimmed off, sinew and roast chewy to the point of 10 minutes per mouthful. Maybe I should have gone for an easier option. Ever thought of sous vide and a reverse sear?

The best Sunday roast in London, by far !!

I was happy to find a place that serves roast on a Saturday, however was disappointed with this choice. I had the Sirloin steak roast and it could have been a great dish, since the Sirloin is cooked to perfection. However, the trimmings were what brought this dish down. The potatoes were wayy too salty and there is no balance in taste between the meat and the vegetable. The bread sauce was also not a great addition to the dish. Therefore, the roast lunch just felt heavy and salty. It is definitely overpriced since there are better and more affordable roast out there.

Professional and friendly stuff, unbelievably delicious food all the very way(statement made by a chef;), although quite pricey. I assume you can't get a PHD. food for a student price. 😉

Having visited this restaurant twice now, I can confidently say that their service is consistently outstanding. On my first visit, I was blown away by the quality of the food – everything was cooked to perfection, and it was easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. However, on my second visit, while the service remained impeccable, I was sorely disappointed with the roast dinner. The roast potatoes were so incredibly salty that they overpowered the entire meal making it difficult to enjoy any of the other elements on the plate. It’s unfortunate because I was looking forward to a repeat of my first experience. All in all, while I appreciate the fantastic service and atmosphere, I hope that the kitchen pays more attention to the seasoning in the future. I’d love to return, but I’m hesitant after this recent meal.

We've heard about this restaurant from dedicated articles about Beef Wellington which is one of our favourite dishes. We had one of the best Beef Wellington ever! In addition the service was amazing, thanks to Martina for her special treatment towards us. All the staff were really kind and efficient; we're looking forward to come back!

We shared the 600gr rib steak set menu with a grilled lobster starter. Our steak was grilled perfectly medium rare and lobster was spot on! Finished with a traditional sticky toffee pudding. A wonderful meal, service and evening.

You can pay 5x as much as here for a meal in Central London, but you won't get better food. Beautiful decor, friendly staff, and great food. We got a sharing menu for 42 pounds each with lobster, steak, and dessert.

I took my mum out for her birthday, for the surf & turf special. I don’t think i have had better service ever. The young lady who waited us was so bubbly, funny and made everything about our experience better. She knew everything about the food the restaurant served. Now the food. Absolutely delicious!! The heritage tomato and fettuccini starter were immaculate. Everything was so flavourful and presented so uniquely. I will be going back to try the roast next, and strongly recommend going for a chique and classy, but cosy atmosphere!

I recently had the best dining experience at Fifty Cheyne! Our group of friends joined for their famous Surf and Turf. We were absolutely blown away by the food! We shared lobster, prime rib, tomahawk steak, lamb cutlet and sides like creamed smoked bone marrow, spinach and french fries. For dessert we enjoyed chocolate parfait and soufflé all of which were exquisite. What truly stood out was the incredible team and service. The staff made us feel so welcomed and taken care of adding a special touch to our evening. It was a fantastic dining experience all around - we will be back!

This is a lovely friendly and welcoming restaurant. The food is very good - an excellent variety of steaks and the peach soufflé is special. It is great value for money. The staff are warm and Andrea will always recommend the best bottles of wine! Very highly recommended!

I was excited to visit this restaurant after seeing a recommendation on social media. Unfortunately, the Beef Wellington wasn't available, which was a bit disappointing. However, I opted for the 100-day dry-aged Belted Galloway beef rib, which was incredible, though slightly greasy for my taste. The service was spectacular, and the dessert was absolutely delicious! Overall, a great experience. Thank you!

The roast was nice, the beef was especially delicious (cote de boeuf). Sticky toffee pudding was dry and disappointing. Service was extremely slow, so much so that we were offered complimentary bread while we waited- although this also ended up taking so long to arrive it came at the same time as our main. Offered desserts on the house but as mentioned, it wasn’t great. Overall a mixed bag.

Had a magnificent meal with exceptional service at this elegant bistro! The grill chef offers superior cuts cooked to perfection with seasonal seafood and vegetable options. Vast wine list, stylish cocktails and quality sauces and deserts. All this 5 star quality and yet such a comfortable and cosy vibe! Thanks you for such a memorable evening! I hope we can return someday.
