The best restaurants serving British food in London

Vi muchos patrones en la 1 noche en la calle, pero no en. Fuimos en la noche 2 y pedimos carne. No me arrepiento, bien jugosas y sabrosas. Buena relación calidad-precio. Personal amable y rápida.

Food is sublime here, tastes great seems healthy and lots of great treats too. Tea and coffee was also good. Prompt and attentive service too.

Reservamos una mesa para 7 sin ningún conocimiento previo del restaurante. Simplemente pasó y el menú en la ventana parecía atractivo. ¡Que hermoso lugar! La comida era absolutamente deliciosa. Excelentes entrantes: mini pudines de Yorkshire con rodajas de rosbif y deliciosos pasteles de cangrejo. Luego teníamos todo, desde el pastel de pescado y el pastel de pastor hasta una hamburguesa. Terminado con crumble de manzana y una mini bagatela excelente. El personal no podría haber sido mejor. Los platos principales tenían alrededor de 11 o 12 libras. Estamos todos aquí por tres meses y puedo ver que este lugar será un firme favorito.

Stopped in for a light lunch after visiting the British museum. We ordered onion rings and the fish and chips to share. The service was the best we've had while in London, the food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The lettuce that was garnish for the onion round was fresh and crisp and made a great salad. The fish was cooked perfectly, so crispy, and had flavor. The chips were hot and some of the best we've had in London. We would return if in London again.

My friend and I popped in for a drink and perhaps a late lunch bite to eat. When the waitress came round at the end to clear our table and asked how everything was I was kind of "Meh! Not good, not bad". I didn't want to say anything specific but my friend said that rather than being negative I should have given them feedback as to why I felt that way. We used to own a restaurant ourselves and would have liked to know customers' feedback, so here it is... Where we were sitting there was broken glass and dirty napkins on the floor from the day before so obviously not cleaned up properly. I went to the disabled toilet and the floor was covered with piss and toilet paper - again not cleaned since the day before. My rosé arrived warm, not chilled and nobody brought my change. My burger arrived warm, not hot and completely without flavour. When I went to pay the bill, service was automatically added without them telling me so at the till. I've lived locally for 40 years and SO wanted this to be my new 'go to' pub but based on this experience I won't be going back. Note to owners: please don't let complacency override your location

Este es un espacio increíblemente grande (aunque una vez que creo que la iglesia encima, es bastante obvio que se puede meter un café y un restaurante de aquí).

Very nice, atmospheric restaurant in St Catherine's dock. multistorey, nice pub but in the 1st and 2nd floor you can have proper, nice food as well. there is also a small garden. Ideal location

We attended a family wedding here on Saturday 26th …attended reception area for drinks and canapés which went well and staff were on par..great service and canapés were delicious! Problems started when the meal service started..some guests were located right next to the bar which meant access for staff/meals became limited..some of our dishes were served barely warm (even though it was delicious albeit cold).. Bar service was tense ..person on the bar didn’t seem interested..walked away from customers, checked mobile regularly and there was noticeable bickering within the staff..better organization was needed and even the people in ‘charge’ looked out of their depth-perhaps they aren’t use to having private parties or how to deal with them Would love to visit again as a great location, food tasted delicious and plenty of seating outside . Price of meals not applicable so couldn’t say whether value for money

WORST AFTERNOON TEA EVER! Myself and a friend booked afternoon tea via a third party and arrived excited and eager to have a lovely afternoon. Sadly we were made to feel like we were a bother to the establishment and given a table which we accepted. Our afternoon tea was brought out but no further interaction followed or simply to check if we were okay. We struggled to get the attention of a waiter to simply ask for oat milk instead of dairy milk for example. The tea provided was basic English breakfast in a very small pot of tea with no top up provided. the sandwiches were okay and the cakes weren't bad but what a disappointing experience and the worst afternoon tea I've ever had! A complete rip off! We just left after we were done. No one even said goodbye or anything further once we were seated. What a poor way to treat customers! So angry I wasted money on this mediocre afternoon tea!!!

Excellent service, food was delicious. Dee was great at her job she is rushed off her feet but still made sure we had everyone we needed with a smile 10/10 service

Absolute rubbish, got a table no bother, then to be told no bread buns on the salad bar.Ordered our food, to be told they had ran out of ketchup!Came back to our table to say, no fish fingers for kids meal, said ok, we will order the pasta instead, to be told.....no pasta either!Promptly left and went to 5 guys!

Arrived at the carvery in a party of five, two children under seven, and three adults, the children thoughrouly enjoyed the roast along with us adults, staff attentive, without being overpowering food was pretty good with a good selection of meats and vegetables, sweet was great value for the children, and was a great experience for all. Dined at about 16.30 looked to get busy about 17.30 but fresh joints of meat and veggies were constantly being brought out for the customers.

I am currently staying in Stratford with a friend and was introduced to Giraffe restaurant by her, the food was great and the service was even better. I would definitely go back here! I would recommend the Halloumi and falafel burger, delicious.

Totally gone downhill! Hot food selection has been virtually decimated - only chips fish quiche and soup. It’s pathetic! What is going on? There are always long queues to get hot drinks. Looks like they are serving what is convenient for them not what customers want. Very sad.

food was spot on fresh hot and plenty of choice of meat and veg, the service was excellent friendly and helpful even tho they where very busy
