After eating the snacks in the market, I came here to drink beer. The beer was good and I drank 3 glasses. I saw someone ordering fish and chips which seemed delicious. I should have avoided eating the snacks in the market just now.

Tasty fish and chips. The best in Greenwich? Maybe not, but certainly good. Staff exceptionally friendly and attentive. A good time was had by all.

Ordered at the counter and served at the table. It was fresh and quite tasty,. The curry sauce and tartar sauce came with the fish and potatoes Scotch eggs are too peppery. I personally thought that ketchup or Worcestershire sauce would be a better match.

Nice selection of beers. And an awesome atmosphere tucked away inside Greenwich market. Nice place to seat and relax.

Coach & Horses is a super friendly, cosy Pub in Greenage Market. The food is great, the beer perfect and the service superb! And very family friendly, too! And Ella is the best!

Atmospheric bar with typical English food.

Good experience with a "typical English" product. Rich and well cooked. A moderate price. We had to go from the terrace that borders the marketing area due to an unrelated noise (alarm, which was not removed from a closed premises) and we discovered a spacious and cozy interior. Bar with a wide variety of cider and beers. They worried about my friend with intolerance, to which they commented that there could be traces on her plate. Fortunately she is intolerant, not allergic. Beware of allergy sufferers! This is not a place for them.

A really nice friendly pub in the centre of Greenwich Market. Couldn't ask for more friendly and professional staff. Great for families during the day, clean toilets, loads of seating areas, and a decent lunch menu at a good price point. The bangers and mash are fantastic.

Very characteristic, absolutely worth seeing and trying at least one of the many types of street food divided among the many ethnic groups

This restaurant is located in the Greenwich Market. We stopped here to grab a quick bite to eat. I got my "Fish & Chips". The food was good, the service was OK, but we noticed in London the customer service needs a lot of improvement. Compared to the United States.

We had an amazing time at Coach & Horses Greenwich! The food was delicious, 10 out of 10 for starters and main courses, and the location of the pub, inside Greenwich Market helped create a cosy and lively atmosphere while keeping warm. Absolutely loved it! Thanks to James as well btw.

Food was very late. Fish and chips was very crunchy. Burger was not tasting well we couldn't eat it . The service of bargirl was very good.

Sunday Roast to break the habit. Dry reheated chicken from the day before. Tasteless gravy, sticky vegetables, horrible... At least the beer and code were good.

Craft beer selection. Tasty fish and chips. I like the atmosphere in inside of the indoor market feels lively, and you get a taste of the community less touristy and more community.

Loved it here. The atmosphere of a London Pub with amazing food and 1st class service! The sausage and mash is fantastic! the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. A jewel in Greenwich!

It is not such an amazing decorated Pub inside, but the food is good! Really tasty and juicy Burger, great beef and one of the best ever Cesar salad. Well located, very convenient inside Greenwich Market. Good option for Saturday walk. Beer option good enough.

Friend was visiting from abroad and we popped to Greenwich market and found little gem of a pub in a corner of the market. As soon as we entered the girl behind the bar ( Ella) was all smiley and welcoming. We had a few snacks they had on the bar - pasties and cheese straws. Ordered a scotch egg too. Absolutely divine. Hat off to the chef. Id marry him if I’d be straight. Would recommend 100% I have never felt more at ease in a pub in London.

I absolutely adore this place on the corner of the indoor market. It's a versatile spot that can either be bustling with excitement or a serene haven of friendliness. They offer a great range of beers at reasonable prices, and the staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly. Every visit to this place feels like a breath of fresh air, and I never hesitate to recommend it to others.

Just popped ín for a pint at this popular pub,quick counter service and spotless gents toilets.

If you need a great atmosphere and good food then pay a visit.

Had the worst experience ever, we were having foods we bought from the market nearby outside with 2 pints of beers we bought from the pub, been told off by some long curly hair guy behind the bar because we were having outside foods ‘in their seating area’?! (It’s not a seating area!) but he refused to listen and gave us some very bad attitude, will never return again, bad customer service.

Great pub. I recommend mulled wine in winter and Christmas, and in summer, cold beer in the garden outside. The only drawback of an outdoor garden is birds that land on the structure and leave surprises on the benches or sometimes on customers. I don't think it's the owners' fault, but it would be nice if they tried to do something about it. A typical English pub with a nice atmosphere and quite reasonable prices.

Nice little pub in the heart of Greenwich market. Good range of craft, lager & ale. Service was fabulous & very friendly. The outside seating is nicely heated so was lovely on a sunny but old March afternoon. It’s also dog friendly, which is a bonus for dog owners & customers.

Wonderful meal, amazing vegan sausage and mash. We also had the Caesar salad, which was perfectly done. Our server Ella was also lovely.

The most central pub you'll find in Greenwich, cool vibes,great outdoor seating within the market place too so always dry. Pretty sure I've even seen that they've got heaters now too. Haven't ever had the food here so can't say. Drinks are affordable and they don't mess about. Bar staff are super nice too.

Regrettably, the roast beef experience fell far below expectations. It required a return to the kitchen due to being undercooked, and the quality of the cut was notably subpar. The picture taken is how it looked upon return from kitchen, so you can only imagine what sort of a state it was in before. Despite getting a full refund, the overall quality of the meal was disheartening and substandard and characterized by sloppiness, sliminess, excess fat, and rawness. Veg was mediocre and the instant nature of the gravy further contributed to the letdown. Whilst we may return for drinks, the food experience was, unfortunately unsatisfactory and we wouldn't eat here again.

Came here with my wife and kids for dinner and drinks and had a lovely time! The food was delicious and the pub has a lovely, cosy ambience. The staff always had a smile on their faces and were happy to serve us. We will definitely be returning in the future.

We were a bit hesitant because of the 4.2 rating but decided to give it a go. Service was great, food was great and portions were generous. I think I will be back there

Really disappointed with my lunch at the Coach and Horses. Service was slow and the chicken Caesar salad was not like a Caesar salad at all. Items were missing that were listed on the menu and the chicken (which should have been grilled) was covered in breadcrumbs. I could have worked with it until I tasted it. It was clear it hadn't been freshly fried and looked suspiciously like it was a schnitzel which had been taken straight from the fridge and cut up as the pieces were cold and limp. For £16.50 it was a small plate and not worth the money. The staff didn't seem to care too much and offered me a replacement meal which was only marginally better (the squash salad, again weird but at least mostly edible) but made no effort no check back to ensure I was happy or even offer an apology. Of course I was eating long after everyone else had finished. A shame. Don't order any of the salads and you should be OK. My lunch pals were happy with the burger and the fish and chips, hence the 2 stars.

Lovely little pub right in the corner of Greenwich market. I never miss the chance to get a takeaway pint here before browsing the stalls. They also have a really nice heated outdoor seating area which is great for soaking up the atmosphere.

A typical London pub. A bit run down and grubby (some of the seats were badly ripped) but we were starving so decided to give it a go. After waiting for 35 mins and asking how much longer our order would be, our food turned up. Hubby and Grandson enjoyed their meals which were ok basic pub food (burger and chips and sausage and mash). My Turkey dinner was very mixed in quality. The potatoes and veg were fine but a bit lukewarm rather than hot. The turkey was revolting, shrivelled, sliced from the deli counter type meat that had either been microwaved or sat under a heat lamp for ages. It tasted funny and was inedible. For nearly £19 it was just not good enough. Can I recommend? No if you want nice surroundings and good food. Yes if you don’t mind tatty surroundings and mediocre food.
