We were in London for four days and had breakfast here every day, incredibly good food, good service and nice place. He even opened half an hour earlier so we could eat before traveling home. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to try a real English breakfast. You also have to try their toast.🤍

Tried this company for the first time, totally disgusting. It’s absolutely nothing like its advertised. The place is so filthy dirty and the food is below par. The sandwich was stale and tasteless and having sat in a very dirty Restuarant I fail to see how this is even acceptable when serving food. Will absolutely never return.

I come from a family run restaurant so I can sympathise when it gets busy. However, this company on st Cumberland street is run very poorly. You walk in and there are about 4 tables with people on the rest every single table is full with dirty plates and we’re for the hour we were in there. When we take our order we are told that a table will be cleaned for us. There was no body else in the queue but us and we were kept waiting so I ended up clearing a table for us to sit down. The lady then proceeds to serve people who come in the door instead of prioritising the tables been cleared and cleaned first. Then comes over with drinks after a long wait and the table is still not cleaned nor any cutlery. My tea has no plate and the spoon is in the cup along with my tea bag. The poached eggs aren’t cooked I had to scrape them off and eat what was cooked. We are right by the toilets and the chef used the toilet and I didn’t even hear the dryer go off. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

Latte (cup half full) could have been hotter. Ham and cheese croissant. Food was okay nothing better. Whole meal was totally spoiled by ridiculously loud rubbish music, which, apart from sitting outside there was no respite. It seriously was that bad couldn’t have a conversation with my son sat opposite without shouting. When I suggested that the music was turned down apparently it had fixed volume unbelievable! Perhaps they should dump that Sound system and get one that is adjustable to create a more pleasant dining atmosphere

Had taken my family who were visiting from Peterborough and bought cod for 2, a portion of chips and mushy peas . The cod reeked of ammonia and had to throw it in the bin. My family were very dissappointed. My kitchen smelt of old fish for hours. I wanted this to be my new go to place, such a shame.

We visited on a very busy Saturday night - bouncers were quick to de-escalate a potential situation in a calm way which was great to see. Also barmaid Lucy needs a special mention for such great customer service!

Myself and a couple of friends visited this venue on a Wednesday night and had a good time, toward the end of the night myself and my friends decided to leave the venue and go home. As we left my friend told me he had left his jacket inside so I went back in to retrieve it, as I exited the premises a member of staff (who I now assume to have been a manager) grabbed the back of my jacket and very forcefully pulled me back inside (bearing in mind that i am only 5ft and this guy was a lot bigger than myself). By the force that this guy had used, I had assumed it was a drunk customer trying to grab me, so when I turned around and asked him to let go of me he went ‘no, what the **** are you doing?!’ And continued to aggressively yell at me while not letting go of me.Turns out he thought I was taking a random jacket. Now, I completely understand that he was making sure the jacket was not being stolen, however the way in which he dealt with the situation was very unnecessary, unprofessional and frightening. If he had came out and tapped me on the shoulder and asked me why I was taking the jacket, instead of forcefully pulling me about unnecessarily, it could have been more easily resolved.
