The Hub in Tower Hamlets

I am so surprised at the rating and reviews on here. I have been going to the hub for years it’s lovely, friendly, food is beautiful, coffee is perfect! Would defo recommend the pastries on a Saturday morning! Very dog friendly and right next to the play park so perfect for kids!

Busy, convenient, needs a clean. Great for a quick coffee while in the park but queues are long and place is a mess. Could do with extra staff on weekends and sunny days. I had a pretty good take away sausage roll though!

A nice, warm place to stop into on a cold day walking round the park. Staff were friendly, but sadly, the food was not up to much. The beans on toast came with a bafflingly miserly slice of sourdough and there were very limited vegan options, which, in 2021 in East London was a surprise. The vegan croissant was not what I was looking for, and though it wasn't bad, it was not good value.

I have come to this place multiple times over the past 6 years. And I can say with confidence that the service and the staff are great. They get quite busy over the weekend ( due to the café being in the middle of a park) so if you don't want to come to this place only to find out there are loads of people, come on weekdays and you won't be disappointed :) Also to whoever complaining on here about masks : you need to think twice before taking your 3 month old child to a café in a middle of a pandemic. 😂

I could actually not believe how bad the food looks like, they claim it as it’s fresh, but don’t kid yourselves. I hope no-one will end up in a hospital. I had diarrhoea the same evening, it was very bad. I was feeling sick for 2 more days after it. Make sure you are careful not to get sued. And my server Draga? Just to say terrible service…

The hub has been a place for me to go with my baby to get some lovely food and sit outdoors and feel safe and calm in this crazy world. However they are seriously disappointing in enforcing their own face covering policy. I often see people not wearing masks and staff never bring it up. Today a man standing next to me was not only standing less than a metre away, he wasn't wearing a mask. I asked him to put it on which was met with just an unreasonable level of attitude and contempt. I pressed saying he has to because that's the policy and the rules, he then proceeded to threaten to cough in my face if I don't stop, be really aggressive, repeatedly call me a c***. As I was collecting my drink I asked a staff member to remind him to wear his mask, which was ignored. He was so aggressive I'm not sure I would feel safe to be in the same room as him. I'm just trying to protect my 3 month old in the middle of a pandemic, but honestly there should be more accountability from those not complying with the rules and I feel staff should be more responsible. I'm not sure I will come back.

При прогулке по парку приятно встретить кафе в самом центре ,на горке . с прекрасным обзором ,хорошим кофе и очень вкусным лимонным пирогом.

I really like this space but sadly my son was bitten by a dog inside the hub. I know a lot of your customers come with dogs but I really feel they should stay outside as children do frequent this open plan area. My son was just going to look at ice lolly photos as he passed the dog it snapped at him - it was only after we left that we realised he had been bitten as the dog owners and those who saw it said he didn’t connect. Well he did

Very busy park cafe, they have toys for children as well, and are situated right next to a large playground. Food is freshly prepared and very good, but the children's meals are a little too involved with garnishes that kids don't usually enjoy. However, for a park café they're great, prices are reasonable and staff is friendly. It does get very noisy when it's full due to the way it's built, but when the weather is warmer the sides open to the park, which is lovely!

Still waiting 45 mins for a lunch order, was given a refund but very disappointed with poor service.

The Hub has undergone a change of staff, menu and layout. There are more seats outside, which is a plus, and the seating inside is slightly different. Gone is the Indian influence and in its place is food that’s perhaps more mainstream. They do a vegetarian breakfast for £8 and meals for kids. The coffee is good! I felt the breakfast was slightly underwhelming. The portions weren’t generous and it lacked seasoning. It was fine but it could have been better. The location is everything, they will always be busy but, with so much competition around, they need to up their game a bit.

Clean, comfortable tidy hotel. However, first night spent in a shoe box with no window. Somewhat like a posher version of a dungeon..... Requested a room with day light which was kindly delivered. The trick is, which I never knew, upgrade by £20 for a better room. Not luxury but very adequate for a comfortable place to sleep.

로얄 할로웨이 대학 내에 위치한 자연 공원 옆에 자리한 구내식당이에요. 가격이 워낙 착한 편이고 맛도 괜찮은 편이여서 추천합니다 :)

I visit this place regularly for its coffee and atmosphere. Really like their eco-friendly ideas! Occasionally I have food here too which is good and affordable... unlike other pretentious places in the area.
