We go for a run along the canal to victoria park and the weather has been lovely recently. It is our ritual to stop by the pavilion and get their baguette or pan au chocolat. But on the weekend i tried their brunch place and it was amazing!! I feel so lucky to have pavilion take up the park cafe as they are one of the best bakeries in london. Even their kimchi tastes authentic!

This is a great pub / hotel in an excellent location, only a 5 minute walk to Wandsworth Town railway station where there numerous frequent trains to London Waterloo, which only takes about 10 minutes. The staff are great, very friendly. The rooms are comfortable. There is an 'honesty' minibar in the room, well stocked. With it being a pub there is a chance to relax after a day sightseeing before going out again, or when you get back in the evening. I have to comment on the breakfast...it was the biggest I've ever seen, well cooked and presented...if you have this you won't need to have lunch...the scrambled eggs were the best I've tasted!

What a great place, sat in the sun by the water on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Life doesnāt get better. James and the team are friendly and on their game. They have 1/2 dozen different pies including one with rabbit and another brisket, I went for a beef marrowbone affair, huge and delicious. Guinness was as good as it gets. Defo put this on the list if youāre on the Canary Wharf area.

Very pleasant pub with extensive menu. We went there on Thursday and Saturday on same week (off peak), seated in bar area. Meals were served in 40-60 min which is more than fair for busy establishment with such a variety of dishes. Servers offered top-up drinks and checked if food was good. Portions were generous and very tasty. Would highly recommend and glad we ignored the negative reviews.

The GWR 1st Class Lounge at Paddington Station comprises of several rooms. As you enter the lounge you are met by an uninspiring plain room with seating that is basic, worn, and unfortunately grubby - More akin to an NHS waiting room. If you walk to the end of the entrance corridor and turn left, you will find the older atmospheric part of the lounge, full of period leather armchairs. I highly recommend that you make the effort to find the historic part of the lounge. As has been mentioned in other reviews, the food and snacks available in this lounge are basic. Tea, coffee, juice and non-alcoholic beverages. Biscuits, crisps, and fruit. It's not anything like an airline business class lounge. So don't expect much and you won't be disappointed. What the GWR 1st Class Lounge does have to offer is some peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the Station Concourse. This is a plus for any traveller at peak times.

The mains were good with the exception of the ārareā tuna which was anything but. A more apt description would be cooked through and then a bit more. The desserts were a catastrophe. Youād be better off nipping to Tesco next door ā¦ for that is where the chef shops for pudding. The doughnut Ā£6.50 (6 for Ā£1 from Tesco) drizzled in toffee and chocolate sauce (also from Tesco). Peach matcha lassi is half a meringue (Tesco), peach sorbet (probably Tesco) and watery coconut yoghurt (also Tesco).

I visited the Steam Passage last week, with a friend. We were welcomed warmly, by a lovely lady called Angie, who helped us decide what gin to have and ran through the menu with us. It's so refreshing to be greeted in such a friendly manner and for staff to take their time with customers, giving that personal touch. We will most definitely be back.

Classico pub inglese all'esterno e nella prima sala interna. Ottimo per la musica nelle casse e per la varietĆ di birre. Manca la componente sportiva caratteristica dei pub inglesi in quanto non trasmettono le partite, ma il pub possiede un meraviglioso cortile interno dove poter consumare la propria birra.

I came up from Surrey to organise a support group meeting for people who share the same background as me. We didn't know each other before but we all found that the environment was conducive to intimate and relaxed chat. The food was great. I liked the beer. The new bar manager, Greg, was very welcoming and introduced himself when I said I come to the pub regularly. So thanks Greg and your team and good luck

From walking in to coming out, the whole experience was almost magical. We felt free to speak about our Christian faith and were presented with a lovely meal of a prawn Sandwich and a B.L.T . The flavours were strong but also subtle. But the best part of the meal were the ladies behind the counter they both had the bestest nonstop smiles, which were very infectious. Me and my friend were most pleased with everything and will make sure we go at least once every six weeks, til the after life. Amen. This review is from Louise and Tony.

A place with such a bad service that it doesn't even deserve one star. Besides, they sell coffee more expensive than other places, but on the other hand, they try to sell a badly made coffee almost by a force. When you object, they say the problem is with the customer. Although my home is far from this place, I came here today just to have a good coffee as I love the taste of coffee in this place. But when I saw their sarcastic and bad behavior today, I regret that I came. Although I specifically stated when placing my latte order, I "I want it extra hot and without foam". The lady who makes the coffee, she made it opposite what I've asked. When I said I didn't want it that way, she said she was a bartender for 10 years. She also told me that the coffee "I drank every day" was something impossible to make. š¤ And she laughed sarcastically. When I said why are you laughing, she said it's fun for her. Unbelievable ! It's true, they piss you off by not making the order you gave them and they make fun of it. I found this behavior really ugly. The only place I will never go to again... I just want to ask, If it's impossible, why are you taking this order? Besides, why would I ask you to do something impossible to make? You can be a bartender for 10 years, but you don't listen to the customer. You don't care what they want. As far as I can see, 10 years has created a self-conceit in you, not a good experience. Also, I bought the coffee which you said was impossible, from Black Sheep Coffee place a little further ahead, from a smiling bartender, and drank it. It's a pity really. I only condemn you for your behavior today. Because you ruined my day. You may not care about me by just reading one customer, but one customer equals ten customers. You lost ten customers today. Me and my friends whom I have recommended and sent before. Of course, if a situation is your concern!!!

We visited for afternoon tea and had one of the worst afternoon teas we have had in London. From a small selection of Twinnings tea to very obviously frozen and then defrosted pastries which we subsequently found out had been brought in from a 3rd party supplier. It was certainly not the experience you expect from a 5* hotel and I would absolutely not go back
