We have eaten breakfast here many times and it has always been great. This trip we decided to get dinner from here. We had been busy all day and tired from travelling. The service was superb, attentive and friendly staff, who went above my expectations to resolve my problem. My wife had fish and chips, which was delicious. My daughter is a fussy eater and wanted alterations, which were done. They were concerned about the possibility that she was allergic to items but we assured them that she was just fussy. My pizza was not so much cooked as cremated, the toppings were sparse but the cheese was overcooked to the point that it had split and burnt, the fat soaked into the base and the tomato sauce passed through the cheese and burnt forming the hard rubber armoured layer that they do. I pointed it out and without hesitation it was gone. I was offered anything else but I really wanted pizza. When I settled the bill, there was of course no pizza but my beverages had gone as well.

The service was painfully slow for a restaurant that was not busy, they even brought us some crisps to keep us going! The steak was OK but £3.99 for a glass of tap water, really!

I recommend this hotel, located near the Excel exhibition centre in east London. The bar service was excellent, me and my friends had a few rounds of cocktails made by the Italian bartender, Cristiano, he served us with kindness and professionalism. Prices are reasonable compared to the ones of central London, the place is pretty and not so crowded. Definitely we’ll come back for a drink!

Quite, nice place. Food was very good. I had the fish and chips, prawn appetizer and tiramisu desert. The price was reasonable and, food was very good. The staff was very friendly. The downside was the service was very poor. Drink orders forgotten, took forever to get anyone to tend to me and I waited 30 minutes to flag down a waitress just to check out. There was only two other people in place so it wasn't busy. By the sounds coming from the kitchen, the staff seemed more interested in fun jibber jabber than tending to customers.

This is basically my local as there are no real pubs in Victoria Docks. The staff is absolutely lovely and really helpful, no matter if it is Food or Drink. The atmosphere is warm but modern. The menu offers snacks and meals for most tastes. Big thumbs up for the staff.

Loved the ambiance the food and service was very good thought it was reasonably priced for London too ..

Attached to the Crowne Plaza Hotel we sat here and people watched with a glass of wine .... We were entertained by the passing crowds leaving the comic expo in the excel centre serve ok and clean and tidy. Limited menu for snacks

We stayed at the Crown Plaza for 2 nights and ate at the grill on the last night. We had the specials which is a sort of tapas.You chose either 3 or 5 dishes from the special menu. The chef who is Polish prepared us the most wonderful dishes. We chose 5 and it was plenty for two people and a very reasonable price of £29. Honestly the food was perfect! The bar staff at the grill were lovely too. All in all a very enjoyable delicious meal with nice wine which was extra but for a Crowne Plaza hotel was really well priced. We would definitely go back there and thorough recommend the grill/bar.

We visited here yesterday and could only get a table in the smoking side but luckily not many smoked,i must say the service and the drinks were both spot on and even though we didnt eat there to food looked spot on and id like to thank the staff for making us welcome Will be returning in the not too distant future

After walking around the local area and finding similar nearby places aren’t doing restaurant services/full restaurant services we saw a sign for Docklands Bar and Grill and decided to risk it....and never regretted it. My better half and I prefer quieter dining and so we were seated away from the front and bar area during a quiet night, We had an amazing guy serve us all night, above any service I’ve experienced in a restaurant, The food was exceptional, and our server helped us pick out mains and dessert. I wish we got his name because he brilliant at serving and helping pickout our dinner choices and deserves recognition. We’re planning a stay in London again shortly and are making sure we’ll be close enough to visit again.

Great restaurant and bar. Cocktails are a must. The food is very good and the decor is really cool! The staff are very friendly. A special word of recognition to Roberto for his genuine friendliness and willingness to please. Five stars to him!

Went there with friends for dinner and would not recommend it, the atmosphere was ok however the food was terrible, we were served overcooked Chicago frozen pizza which I would happily buy myself at the supermarket for £2.50 but certainly not for £12 in a restaurant.

Mis amigos y yo visitamos Docklands Bar and Grill anoche. Habíamos estado en Excel todo el día y teníamos mucha hambre y necesitábamos una copa de vino. La lista de vinos no estaba tan mal ya un precio razonable. La selección de comida era buena y tenía algo para todos nosotros, ya que uno de los miembros tiene alergia a los alimentos. Todos disfrutamos nuestra comida (hamburguesas y pescado y patatas fritas). Nuestro camarero era un chico muy agradable. Lo único negativo. Cargo por servicio adicional. Hubiéramos dejado una mejor propina si aún no se hubiera agregado a la factura.

Vine aquí con mi novia cuando estábamos alojados en un hotel cercano. Cuando entramos, fuimos recibidos de inmediato por un hombre amable (aunque bastante tímido). Nos acomodó y nos dio menús. A estas alturas, nos habíamos dado cuenta de que solo nosotros y otro caballero estaban cenando. Vimos a 3 personas detrás del bar limpiando una sola copa de vino. Se hizo contacto visual con muchos camareros / camareras pero nos ignoraron. Alrededor de 15 minutos más tarde, otro mesero tomó nuestro pedido, que parecía lo suficientemente agradable. Nuestras bebidas llegaron otros 15 minutos más tarde. Compartimos una porción de arancini para empezar. Estaban bien, pero fueron servidos sin salsa y alguna 'guarnición' al azar que no contribuyó al plato en absoluto. Mi novia, que por pura curiosidad debido a su carrera como chef, probó una hoja de esta guarnición al azar y descubrió que no tenía ningún sabor. Pasando a nuestro principal, de los cuales fue 1 pizza margarita y 1 pizza pepperioni. Déjame decirte que estas pizzas eran de la ciudad de Chicago o una pizza congelada o preempaquetada. La masa estaba empapada y obviamente no era casera. El queso se desprendió con un bocado. La corteza se enrollaba de forma extraña para hacer algún tipo de corteza rellena con la salsa. Si quisiera una pizza empacada, nos habría ahorrado 44 y habría ido a Tesco. Mientras comíamos, el personal nos miraba sin nada que hacer, y la gente caminaba hasta la mitad de la mesa y luego se alejaba. Para rematar, nuestro camarero hizo un comentario muy incómodo como pagamos. Habíamos planeado quedarnos para los postres y algunas bebidas más, pero el nivel de servicio era tan bajo que decidimos irnos. Llevaba una camiseta con los mortífagos de Harry Potter (para aquellos que no saben, son villanos). El camarero dijo qué camisa interesante. Dije gracias que es de Harry Potter. Dijo que son buenos o malos? Les respondí que son malos, siempre he tenido una tendencia hacia el lado oscuro (como una broma). Él respondió, y cito: "Oh, le pido a Dios por ti. Sacrificaría mi alma para ayudarte a ver la luz". Simplemente dije: "Wow". Después de eso, nos fuimos muy rápido con los dos sintiéndonos extremadamente incómodo y sorprendido por tal comentario. Definitivamente no volveremos de nuevo.

Me senté con solo 1 mesa más pidiendo comida en el restaurante (bar y fuera, también sirve comida, creo). Pedimos entrante y una pizza cada uno, así como bebidas. Las bebidas tardaron otros 15 minutos en llegar, el entrante estaba bien, pero aranchini sería mejor con algún tipo de salsa / mejor guarnición. Constantemente había camareros entrando al piso del restaurante, obviamente mirando hacia atrás y luego volviéndose y conversando con otros empleados en el bar nuevamente. La pizza tenía un aspecto inquietantemente similar a una ciudad de Chicago o una pizza de caja similar de un supermercado, y estaba empapada, pero muy caliente, extraña. Sinceramente nos sentimos como si estuviéramos siendo engañados de 11/12 cada uno por las pizzas. No se quejó y se comió la mayor parte de nuestra comida, sin embargo, el personal era cada vez más incómodo, mirando sin nada que hacer, caminando hasta la mesa y luego cambiando de dirección en el restaurante vacío. I området omkring Excel er der ikke mange restauranter. Denne var en af dem. De havde gode kolde øl, men barområdet var lidt kedeligt. Burgeren til 15£ var også lidt kedelig. Kommer ikke igen.

breakfast here is good with lots of the usual options. hash browns, fried eggs, beans, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, tomato, cranberry juice, coffee and pastries. there is also a fruit salad bar with yoghurts and granola/nuts.

Docklands bar a d grill is opposite the Good Hotel at Victoria Dock and is part of the Crown Plaza Hotel. It is nit a partucularly high end place as the name suggests - signage also calls it the Docklands Deli. Prosecco is £30 a bottle. £9 for a cheese and ham sandwich. Both are excessive and frankly just not worth it !

Visited after a day spent at Excel MCM Comic Con. Fabulous dinner and outstanding service. Waiting staff were attentive and friendly, all four of us enjoyed our meals and couldn’t fault the food or service. Waiting times were good as restaurant was quite busy. The best Cumberland sausage, and truffle mash and Madeira sauce to die for! Chocolate tart, rich and decadent. We thought it very reasonably priced for London and they more than deserved the service charge of 12% and we gave extra. Lovely place with a relaxed atmosphere and made to feel very welcome. Thanks for a lovely last night to our trip to London.

The breakfast spread is very good with everything from a full English breakfast to yogurts and fresh fruit. Pastries and breads with several juices round out a full breakfast.

Nice food on a Saturday but service was poor . Asked 3 times for English mustard eventually given Djion. Bought 3 bottles of fizz none of which were opened for us .

I was fancying a drink, but this is not really an area for normal old pubs, so I dropped in here. It is the bar attached to the Crowne Plaza Hotel, I think, and I found it to be a peaceful and relaxing place to drink. It is spacious and fitted out stylishly, and has a feeling of newness and modernity about it. Despite this, it didn't feel soulless, because the two male and female staff members were charm and helpfulness itself, and there were some friendly drinkers in there as well. The bar has enough room that you could stand at the bar, find a private area to be with friends or work, or, as I did, watch the football on a big silent screen to one side. They had Symonds Cider on tap, which was extremely nice. The staff were well trained in the pouring and serving of drinks.

My boyfriend and I went to the quad spa for a day in Januay and went to the Crowne Plaza restaurant for lunch. We ordered freshly squeezed orange juice (that's how they called it in their menu and it was around £4) but it turned out to be the cheapest juice from concentrate. It was horrible and such a scam! We talked to the waiter and later they agreed not to charge us for the horrible juice. My salad (big cous cous, butternut squash, walnuts and cranberries) came without two ingredients (walnuts and cranberries) and it became a lazy salad with just cous cous and butternut squash. I returned it and had to wait around 15 minutes for a new salad with all the ingredients. Also, the staff is really inexperienced and impolite, when I said that the salad lacked the ingredients, the waiter started digging in my salad to check it as if he didn't believe me! Unbelievable place, staff is bad and chiefs are simply lazy. They misadvertise the food in their menu. Also they charged 12.5% for service, unacceptable. Stay away from this restaurant, not recommended!

También tenía un lado de chips entre nosotros y fueron fabulosos. Hubo cierta confusión sobre una oferta de copa de vino gratis con la comida principal (al parecer, ninguna de las cosas que elegimos estaba clasificada como platos principales), pero después de hablar con el personal, permitieron la oferta. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante.

La comida estaba bien, pero el servicio fue horrible. Nos sentamos afuera y nos olvidamos. Otras mesas también se quejaban. Me dijeron que una bebida gratis vino con el bistec y cuando llegó la factura (de hecho, tuvimos que ir al bar para pedir, ya que nadie salió) nos habían cobrado por ello. Al pedir que se elimine, se volvieron discutibles. Nos negamos a pagar el cargo por el servicio que se agregó, ¡entonces el mesero nos persiguió al otro lado de la calle para preguntarnos por qué! ! The food was excellent as was the service. Comfortable surrounding and great choice. The only blemish on an excellent meal was a tomato which I attacked to vigorously and ended up covering myself and the table in juice, fantastic.

Absolutely terrible. No eye contact or acknowledgement from any of the staff on duty. Waited ten minutes to even have anyone ask us if we wanted to order, at which point we decided it wasn't worth the expense and left. Would not recommend to anyone!

Very poor management of this hotel to have so view staff on duty in the restaurant. So,so, slow service makes you want to get up and leave, or order breakfast whilst I’m waiting for my dinner. 1 Star is not low enough but the only option.

Nice bar, expensive for the area, slightly limited seating. Some of the bar prices are eye-watering otherwise its good . We did try to eat there but the service was very slow so we upped and left.

Aparecimos a desayunar aquí esta mañana. El desayuno era un buffet completo con comida caliente, pan, cereales, fruta y pasteles. Ambos tuvimos la comida caliente y café, que era bueno. Comimos allí dos veces y en ambos casos la comida estaba recién preparado y sabroso. Prueba la ensalada de queso de cabra o el pescado ahumado y por supuesto el pescado y patatas fritas.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat while walking along the dock, I had chicken and avocado sandwich, partner had Clun, both lovely and surprisingly hearty!! Our server Samantha was friendly, helpful, bubbly and made the afternoon a lot more pleasant

Just in town for a Jim Collins seminar at Excel auditorium the following day. I had used airbnb to find a place next to this restaurant which the airbnb host recommended. Very good value meal- I choose the vegetarian risotto with roasted cauliflower- fantastic. Service very good - plenty of staff.

I want to share with you my experience at Docklands Bar & Grill within the Crowne Plaza on 24/12/2016. I had visited to enjoy lunch with my mother and was extremely impressed with the ambiance, quality of food and most importantly the service of Nathan Fredrick. From the moment of arriving, Nathan was welcoming and warm; he was thoughtful and helpful when it came to reviewing the menu and most hospitable throughout my entire experience of visiting Docklands Bar & Grill. As a legal professional and a part-time travel journalist, I am frequently visiting restaurants, hotels and sites of interest in order to conduct online press reviews and through these experiences, I get to encounter a number of individuals in the hospitality sector. From my experience so far, it is rare to find an individual who is truly passionate about his role and genuinely wants to make customers feel like they have had a positive and memorable experience and Nathan did exactly that. I was most impressed with my interaction with Nathan as he was extremely professional and personable and has a true understanding about how to ensure that visitors have a brilliant experience and due to this interaction, I would certainly urge others to visit Docklands Bar & Grill. As a travel journalist, I was interested in experiencing afternoon tea at Docklands Bar & Grill. However, as I had not made a reservation, it was not possible for this to be accommodated for today. Consequently, I enquired with the front desk/reception whether it would be possible to experience afternoon tea tomorrow (25/12/2016) and informed that this was not possible. I was unfortunately disappointed as I wanted to write a press review on the afternoon tea offered. Nathan very kindly enquired with his colleagues again and put in place arrangements, including him kindly serving my table tomorrow, so that I could experience afternoon tea. Whilst enjoying my lunch, I observed the efforts that Nathan was taking (much to his unawareness that I was doing so) and was impressed with the efforts that he was taking as it showed me that he certainly wanted to deliver results for his guests (in this case being my mother and I). I attended for afternoon tea today and was served by Samantha who was so personable, kind and helpful despite it being so busy in the dining establishment. I really empathise with those that are working during the Christmas period and was so surprised and happy with the amazing service at Docklands Bar & Grill!P Putina Modha

Absolutely disgusting service; sat down with my partner ordered our food and drinks, waited at least 15 minutes for drinks to be brought to our table.. After waiting over 45 minutes for our food in their un-busy restaurant we asked how long our food would be for the waitress to then say they didn't have one of the meals order; they still processed to bring out the other meal ordered as if my partner was going to eat in front me.. Working in the food business I find this absolutely appalling.

We visited the Docklands Bar & Grill for breakfast. The choice appeared to be excellent as was the service. Our party has mixed tastes for breakfast and we were surprised to find that our needs were covered. On the whole an excellent experience but best avoid the pancakes. Unfortunately they achieved a rubber texture and were inedible. We found an alternative and left the restaurant satisfied. We are looking forward to the next visit.

Okay, for a hotel restaurant/bar the place is pretty good! It isn't exceptional though, maybe I'm just into pursuing interesting things. The burgers and fish and chips are yummy, the starters and tasty, you'll leave satisfied.

Stopping in the hotel for 3 nights we dined here the first night and it was delicious! We had the lamb skewers & the Cajun chicken burger & they were delicious. Proper good food! The ONLY downside was the fact there was nowhere to sit & the bar isn't really suitable! But I suppose being in high demand isn't a bad thing! Lovely bar area too and a lovely modern dining experience too!

Ate at the Docklands because I'm staying in the Crowne Plaza, and I was too tired and hungry to search anything else out. My £28 sirloin was tough and flavourless, served with badly cooked oven chips (seriously, oven chips on a £28 plate); had I not been so tired and hungry, I would have sent it back. Waiting staff were not particularly good - no-one checked on me while I was eating, but they were polite enough when they could be bothered. Epically awful, will not be going back at all for the rest of my stay at the hotel. Avoid.

Been their for a drink at the bar the service horrible talking to each other with a cleaner a different language and absolutely no idea if been waiting for a drink no knowledge of the menu and no caring about customers 4 * much overrated service more likely pub style I had a cesar salad as well with chicken no seasoned and swimming in dressing over all the bar mate with dark hair took a private phone call on her mobile middle in the bar. That's a good advice you will have trouble in the future to keep your standards for a4* hotel shame on you crowne plaza

We came on a sunny Sunday afternoon for a quick bite. Started well, promptly attended to with food and drink menus, but went seriously downhill from there. Despite waiting for 20 minutes in plain sight with our menus closed, the waiting staff ignored and walked past us on at least four occasions whilst simultaneously fussing over a mouthy diner and her dislike of garlic, and other diners. For the first time in years I simply walked out.

Ate here on a Friday evening, we chose to sit inside and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Drinks order taken straight away. Menu not huge, but what was on there was sufficient. Food order taken quickly. We ordered starters of Feta and olives and potato slices with bacon and sour cream which were lovely. Main courses were chicken caesar salad and vegetarian burger. Both very nice indeed, it was nice that the salad came with a whole breast of chicken sliced and not just a few pieces of chicken scattered on the salad. Very nice dining experience.

We ate at this restaurant as it was close to our hotel. The food was acceptable, but expensive for what we got. The staff seemed to be distracted and the service was slow. Not what you want when you have been flying for 20+ hours

The food was very decent. We had the impression it was all fresh. We were really satisfied with our four dishes. The staff was very friendly.

Almost had the place to ourselves at lunchtime on Sunday however I imagine it is busier during the week. Both fish and chips and nachos were average at best. Wait staff who were initially surprised there were customers to serve then were extremely scarce in the 30 minutes after food was served.

The menu outside this restaurant was different from the one we were given inside, the choices were far more limited once we were seated.They didn't have one of the drinks on the menu that we ordered and brought a different one to our table instead without even asking.The TV was on so terribly loud it made my head pound.We ordered a meal for our baby and while waiting for it to arrive, looking at the menu with restricted choices decided to eat elsewhere. We paid £20 for two drinks (one that we didn't order) and a meal for our baby.

We wanted a kind of steakhouse close to the Excel Exhibition Centre, but the steaks weren't that good as one would suppose in a grill.

Dined here once during a stay at the Crowne Plaza, and it was a nice pleasant restaurant, busy but not noisy... The staff were friendly and efficient... The menu choices were a bit too fancy for me, and the portions too small for the price, but I guess understandable being in London and in that hotel... If I hadn't left it so late I would have probably gone elsewhere with plainer food... But can't fault the quality of the food I ordered...

The pudding are to die for! I have also got to say the rest of the menu is not half bad either.The views are amazing and the staff are friendly.

I normally don't use this hotel when travelling on business in London, however due to the bar man/waiter (Jarson.M) I will be back ! Best service I have received in all my travels. A great guy and even though next week my hotel is not booked for here I will come for food and a drink !

Just what it says on the tin, my food was very good. Not excellent, but pretty good. That being said, you had to endure the terrible service to get it, and pay through the nose. Go across the street to the Cafe or the Lebanese restaurant. Both are better choices in all three categories.

The staff here were great - making sure I got the best table for what I wanted to do (work and watch people!). I only ordered some pitta bread and humous but it was very tasty. The wine was nice too - they had a special offer on and the waiter was keen that I try it - it was good so I was not disappointed.My only comment was that I did not like the football on the TV - it lowered the tone of the bar but otherwise all was good.

Was a brilliant evening so sat outside watching the world go by, food served quickly and courteously, was hot and plentiful. Drinks were cold as lager should be. Bill seeme high but this is London afterall.

Can't understand some of the recent reviews. The food was spot on - delicious, well presented, right temperature. The service was exceptional, couldn't do enough for us. If I was back in the area would definitely go back.

We live nearby and visit this place often for a drink on the terrace. Food is nice, but before the menu used to change a lot more or they would have a BBQ or specials on on the terrace. The selection of beers should change. They serve for Larger Stella or Stella Black, nothing else. I hope that after 5 years they make some changes to this because there are so many more nice beers to serve than this! We keep coming because the terrace is comfortable even in the late summer and like the location of the place. The most annoying thing is that you cannot open a bar tab unless you stay in the hotel. Even when you come often. I hope they change this policy soon

Popped in here for a quick lunch, was actively discouraged from sitting in the restaurant, and finally sat and ate in the bar.Which is little more that a hotel corridor, there is a restaurant across the the road which I wish I had tried; perhaps you should give it a go and let me know!

I just "tried" to eat there with my family. The server put in my child's order as "Kids meal" - of which there are six options. In future , she should put in an order called "food". So no food for one hour. We walked out.Ordered chicken wings. Got spicy skewersOrdered chips. They never came.Worst crowne plaza ever - eat in one of the surrounding cafes and get a much better meal.The Russian waitress in the restaurant should be fired

Unfortunately the food here is terrible. Very bland. There were three of us and we all ordered different dishes which were not up to scratch. For the price you pay you would expect much better service and food. Will not be going back. Note the menu has recently changed (according to the staff) but looks like a change for the worst!

This restaurant is attached to the Crowne Plaza Hotel, London Docklands and we ate there on Saturday 13th June. Service is first class, friendly and efficient but the food was woefully below average. The vegetables were cold and the chicken was warmish - but had obviously died of old age as it was very tough. The concerned waiter replaced the veg with a bowl of microwaved hot ones but did nothing about the chicken - other than saying he'd 'speak to the chef' - I would have loved the chance to speak to the chef ! Very disappointing as we were there for a few days holiday and were looking forward to our evening meal. To be fair, they deducted the service charge - as they should - & threw in 2 cups of coffee but I certainly wouldn't recommend having a meal there, somebody doesn't take a pride in their kitchen offerings.

Arriving from Switzerland, very wet and tired, my wife and I fled from the wind into the peace of the "Docklands Bar and Grill" in London. We ordered from a polite waiter two Greek salads (which were very good). We felt most comfortable and said that we would return another day. Shortly thereafter we did precisley that. A young, Portuguese waiter named Jarson greeted us with the most amiable smile and led us to a table.Giving us sufficient time to read the menue he returned and took our orders. One chicken dish and one with duck. I asked the young man where the chicken came from and he, with a delightful laugh said that he didn't know which nationality and would ask the cook. He ran off (quickly serving someone else along the way) and took a while to return. When he did so he brought the cook (Mr. Ji Hachicho) with him. Mr. Hachicho answered my question without reserve (I think he found it a little amusing being asked such a question) and departed. Jarson took our order and it was an aboslute delight to have him serve us. I had two more questions and his reaction was truely wonderful. Neither my wife nor I have ever laughed nor felt so comfortable with a waiter in any restaurant as in this one. After having finished a most excellent meal Mr. Ji Hachicho returned and asked if we had enjoyed it. The only answer was to say that it had been a pleasure to have eaten so well and be treated with such friendliness. After the meal we sat in a loung area to read the newspaper. Here Jarson kindly brought us tea, Mr.Hachicho came by to have a chat and was most amiable. The final surprise to an extreamly happy and delightful evening was yet another waiter who, on our leaving, said: "I only wish we had more guests like you". All in all a truely happy time and one which I regret not being able to repeat as we left London not long thereafter. We can only say to all of the staff: "Thank you very, very much indeed!"

The restaurant was half empty when we arrived and we were shown to a sticky table. The girl asked us if we wanted a drink and we asked for a minute to look at the menu...15 minutes later she came back and asked again...ordered drink and food and waited 40 mins for the food to arrive with people who arrived after us getting their food before us. I had only ordered a salad. Food was ok nothing special but not bad. We were not offered another drink even though we had empty glasses. Took ages to get the bill and just no service.Staff need some extra training or hire more staff.

Arrived for dinner to an empty restaurant with our little girl and was told no tables for two and we needed to sit in the bar. Nobody came to take an order so we left. Disgusting service, the restaurant was empty! The waiter just didn't want to know

This restaurant is situated next to the crowne plaza docklands.The menu is quite simple and consist of burgers and a grill selection of food. I had a burger which was ok. As it was my groups first night we walked in without a booking and the staff were extremely accommodating.Would recommend for a late night / last minute option if staying close by.

i have been mostly over the weekend in the bar. It is full of crowd and the service is really good. I like this place

Ate here in the evening as well as breakfast. If you ask for a breakfast coupon the night before it is only £10. Both times, service was pleasant and fast. Good choice of wines and spirits in the bar and I thought the choices were good for starters and mains, and reasonably priced. Quality of food was good and the breakfast definitely worth it, with pretty much anything you could want. My experience in the evening was better than other restaurants in the area.
