Friendly efficient staff. Huge crowd in there, it was full up but it was a Saturday evening. Big beautiful building. Food was ok. The lasagne was cold so had to be reheated apart from that it was all good. Refillable hot drinks always a bonus for me. Two hours free at their car park and we paid just a £1 extra because we was over the time limit. Weatherspoons is what it is but this building and atmosphere was very good. We will return.

The chicken curry is great, good portion, the fish and chips howerver was not it, tasteless and very small COD , the chips are very nice and crispy! The prices are very average, on the cheaper side tbh, its always full, nice to seat outside and have a laugh.

The place is ideal, we had a good time, good food, but the service is terrible, it takes a long time to serve you the drinks, the beers were served at the bar for more than 20 minutes, the waitress was flirting around the place, in the end we got up to pick them up

It's Witherspoon's in Stratford. Not great, not terrible. The staff are nice and some are really trying more than they should. Beers are cheap and that's probably the only redeeming feature of the place.

Staff not friendly. Ordered breakfast. 15 minutes later friends arrived and ordered theirs. Theirs arrived, asked the waitress why theirs had come out first, replied with a grunt 'thats the kitchen'. Had to ask for cups for our drinks. No teabags at station. Food only warm. Not a good experience.

I did order all they brunch, it was not nice display in the plate. It was if like the chef did throw the eggs and the chips on the plate. Two self-service coffee machines no one had hot chocolate 😕

4 of us visited today having been to several Wetherspoons and this is the first one I would NOT go back to. I told 3 different staff members 3 times that there was no white sugar at the drinks station and nothing was done. One machine only had hot milk which was mentioned to staff and the other had no hot chocolate as there was no chocolate! Had 4 breakfast meals and have had better. Service was very poor. One staff member behind bar taking orders with not so much as a 'hello' or a greeting of any sort. Young black lady brought food to the table without butter for the toast and again no smile or 'enjoy your meal' which is normal in other Wetherspoons we have been to. When she served our 4 meals she did say the plates were hot but they weren't. If they were she wouldn't have been able to carry them from the kitchen and the food was just warm.1 of us had a sausage sandwich which hadn't been buttered. We noticed when she served plates to the couple on the next table she banged them on the table loud enough that we actually looked as we thought maybe she had accidentally dropped them. We were there for approximately 1 hour and I couldn't help but check as we were leaving that there was still no sugar at the drinks station. Will stick to your pubs where the food is better and the staff actually welcome you.

Popped in for a quick pint, after a show one evening.. We were back in the next morning for a full English breakfast.. Polite and friendly service.. Food was fantastic.. Well presented. Couldn't ask for me. Lady that brought our food out was very nice and friendly. Thank you 😊 👍🏼

We went to this pub before we saw a panto at stratford east and we’ve been here a few times. It’s quite small inside and there wasn’t any room so we had to sit outside which may have been freezing but was character building I’m sure. The service was fine it was a typical spoons and even though there was lack of seating we all survived to tell the tale.

Got charged extra and that too for a wrong order. I ordered a chicken strips burger which wasn’t available. They agreed for a replacement, but a white lady (just for recognition) on the bar counter charged me for some random order (saying its just for a burger) and we ended up having extra meal orders and the food was eventually wasted! Very disappointed with that particular service!

Such a happy atmosphere! Even the bouncers are smiling and having fun! That's a good sign. Such good beers on tap when I was there. Large place but fills up fast when it gets busy. Lots of tills but there's one near the TV that only accepts cards but is usually much shorter. Food looks good even though I haven't tried it. Staff works hard and kind through the busyness 🫶🏼 There's usually plenty of seating outside in the back patio. Unlimited coffee and tea from their self serve machine, great deal for those looking for a morning place to start the day slowly, especially because there's not many here in the mornings.

Love it here, absolutely wild, great atmosphere but never any trouble, pretty cheap as far as wetherspoons in London goes. Toilets are disgusting though.

I liked the food and the atmosphere.

It is what it is. Cheap beer, but the staff appear untrained in serving it. There were 7 people behind the bar but it still took 8 minutes to be served - and it was not especially busy. The real ale was served with a head of about 4 inches which took an age to settle - and when it did, it was a short measure. Another pint was cloudy and had a tang of the vinegar about it. When taken back, the young bar member looked at it and said "What's wrong with it?"! It was changed when he referred to his manager. But, beer at £1.99 a pint and the free entertainment (two policemen and several late-arriving security staff cuffing and removing a man in the beer garden) made the visit interesting and bearable.

Breakfast is good here but not main meals. The fish and chips were dripping in cooking oil and anything that looked passable, when I took a bite, I could taste the oil. Chips hardly cooked and soggy. Didn’t eat my meal and left feeling disappointed, as this is the second time this has happened, thinking the first time was a one off. I’m now feeling rather unwell after the meal.

A friendly local with good food, a wide selection of beers and decent prices. Well worth a visit.

Quick, polite service. Had the vegetarian breakfast with endless coffee and it was lovely, good quality and well cooked, I cleaned my plate.

Good quality-price ratio. It was a little dirty because there were a lot of people, the food was good.

We went for a family Christmas breakfast and had to wait near on an hour to get out food, it took for us to have to chase the order to be told it's not done. We then requested a half refund which they were happy to give us and the food came out in 5 mins the waiter even asked the cook to redo our porridge as she was not happy with how it looks. But unfortunately it is now a week and 2 days and we are still waiting for our refund.

Popped in with friends on a Thursday evening. Ordered the BBQ Burger at 8.00pm. By 8.45pm it still hadn’t arrived. I enquired at the bar. Apparently the kitchen staff had left it in the kitchen, and decided not to bring it out to our table. So after suggesting they bring it out to me - they brought it out to me! It was stone cold. I took it back and they microwaved it. They brought it out again. This time lukewarm/tepid perhaps. No cutlery. Went back to the bar again to ask for cutlery. Food quality was poor; like chomping into flavoured cardboard. Popped to the bar again to try and order another drink. Totally ignored by staff, one of whom was eating her dinner whilst standing up at the bar. So I gave up. They just do not care. I guess you get what you pay for.

Our server Nimisha was very professional and she gave amazing hospitality. Food we tried chicken wings was amazing. We will visit again.

If Tim Martin can do it why can't everyone else. Great value.

Decent enough, although on West Ham game days, will be busy. Not enough staff. Security not dealing with loud customers.

Location: High Street in a busy area Parking: There are various options in the vecinity Staff: Polite, helpful Services: Tables were not the cleanest Amenities: There's a back terrace Feeling: Publike, great to come over with friends and family Food: Considering the prices, you get what you pay for. Cheap and filling. Prices: a lot cheaper than anything you'd get in other pubs. Beers 3-5£ on average. Food 7-12£ Toilet: Could use a bit more attention. Conclusion family / friends / business: Great place to have a good beer with friends and have some pub food. It's an average place with great prices and that makes the difference.

Top place family-friendly cheap food and drinks

Visited a pub on Sunday evening 03/11/23. We were asked to move from beer garden inside as staff wanted to close that area. I must admit that staff outside was nice and polite. We moved inside with all food and drinks but 2 min after member of staff asked as ( 4 adults 60 years ald) to move from this area to another . She explained that it's because she wants to close this area too. It was 10pm. The table she offered was next to big company and people was pestering us with their conversation. I mentioned it to the members of staff and explained to her that we would like to be left along. Someone who refused uidentifiy himself told us to finish drinks and live "his pub" . I pointed that is not his pub but the company. Anyway we left about 0.5 hour later . But the area where staff moved us out was full af customers and they even was sarved food. Management of this pub made me feel like I'm worse then others. I believe that this customer service is unacceptable for the well known company especially from managemen. Very upsetting.

Today I was a group at this bar, where I ordered and it didn't come according to what I wanted. I approached the bar and asked for it to be corrected according to what was paid for, the worker started to confirm that I did not place the order in that order and showed what I paid for and to check the rooms. Anyway, the lady worker kept her position and started shouting for her to turn around and left. I asked for the complaint book, to which the lady worker said that she does not give anything and she is not interested in anything.

Great Pub for Great Value. One of the least expensive Wetherspoons in London. Large interior and large exterior. Ideal for popping into Morrisons too. Not far from Stratford Station.

My spoons in Wanstead has closed. This is a great alternative! We want pubs which are alive anytime of day or night!

Good evening, everyone. I have been watching this problem for a long time until it rocked me. One of the doors in this institution does not work on closing for more than a month!!!! And when I closed it I was reprimanded by the staff for this, on my excuse that this door does not work on closing for more than a month, they said that this is not my problem..... I ask the management to pay attention to the comfort of customers in your establishment and repair the necessary for this nodes!!!!

First time in England, first English breakfast, I really liked it! Thank you for accepting our arrival 5 minutes before the end for breakfast, it was a real treat! The jacket potato with cheese extra beans is a gem!

Was very disappointed, in the food , service here today. Not my normal Wetherspoons,Waltham cross , Baxter’s court. Which is by far much cleaner, service much better, and food served in eatable conditions. Will not be returning here .

Cheap pints for days love the prices

I recently visited Wetherspoon in Stratford and was disappointed by my experience. While I appreciate the casual atmosphere, the staff, particularly a server named SUNNY (to be clear a guy who flip bottle of beer when asked and pour half of the beer on ground), were extremely rude. His dismissive attitude made me feel unwelcome, which overshadowed the dining experience. I've seen numerous reviews highlighting the rudeness of the staff, yet it seems nothing has changed. This raises the question: does management ignore customer feedback? The place feels cheap, which is expected, but the lack of basic courtesy is unacceptable. I hope management addresses these ongoing issues, as no one should have to endure rudeness while dining out.

Super meal. Looking for somewhere quieter after a show in Central London. Pub busy but still plenty of space. Value for money for food & drink the best.

Just about what you can expect from a Wetherspoons. Slower service than usual at the bar, but sometimes it can't be helped. Visited after running some errands. I would say the atmosphere was good, but it was pretty quiet, and another customer ended up making me feel uncomfortable, and it was never addressed upon by the staff. However, food was good. A pretty decent meal and drinks are what you'd expect. Overall, I can't complain much. However, staff (bar staff particularly) being more vigilant and having a better degree of awareness would benefit the place more.

I had the bangers and mash with a craft beer for under a tenner. Service was really slow at the bar, so I found a table and ordered off the app. Very nice beer, but the meal was below average. I've had bangers and mash before at a spoons, but this one was too dry spoiling the mash. Good atmosphere in the garden and inside, though.

The worst service ever. In no busy day we were waiting for beer 20 minutes, when we kindly asked “where our beer?” waitress told that we are rude and stopped serve us. It was not first time in this pub. So rude communication with customers.

It's a Weather Spoon's, not much more to say. The portion here was a little smaller than normal.

Badly frequented: there is even a warning to customers on each table to beware of pickpockets. Dirty, slow service, poor food, loud Eastern European drunks. Symbol of Wetherspoon's total decline. Stay away!

Busy pub with lots of outdoor seating. Service was slow but the food was good. Our meals took about 25 minutes to arrive. Plates were hot & we enjoyed our food. Pub is a 15 minute walk from the shopping mall & international train station. Had problems ordering our drinks again on the Spoons app. Been happening a lot lately. Prices were good considering the location. Not one I would rush back to though.

Your typical Witherspoon pub, good atmosphere, helpful staff, nice food. Can get very busy in the evenings and slow to get served when busy. There's a large pleasent beer garden.
