The best restaurants serving British food in London

Had Sunday lunch there , it was deeply disappointing. An, at best, average roast but with grim meat and served stone cold. Add in rude staff, tense ambience and grotty surroundings , it’s really not worth the cost. When there are so many fabulous Sunday lunch spots in london there is no reason to choose this one. Mothering Sunday and the restaurant was not quite half full, speaks for itself. I’m not surprised !

Amazing breakfast, amazing location and amazing service. Really enjoyed breakfast here at Brown & Green life cafe. It is located inside Crystal Palace park with seating both inside and outside. So when the weather is good it’s an amazing place to go and eat outside with lovely scenery outside. Would highly recommend this place and their veggie breakfast was very tasty.

Was a great Pub,used many times over the years . New chav type Barman who greated us with Hi Guys to a Lady? Loud foul language by this individual in conversation with a female staff member. Attempting to remove our glasses before we finished. .Paying the high prices ,we would like some respect as a customers! Never again!

Mi esposo y yo fuimos a Battersea Barge Comedy Experience el domingo y fue simplemente horrible. Fue suscrito por más del doble de lo que era una capacidad segura. Había una cola de una hora para 3 rebanadas de pizza; cuando fuimos a la sala de exposición había tantas sillas allí dentro que todos estaban sentados uno encima del otro, el pasillo se cubrió de gente para que los comediantes ni siquiera pudieran pasar y no había forma de una salida segura. La pizza de mi marido fue golpeada de sus manos por la gente de enfrente estábamos tan juntos y no había manera de que pudieras levantar un vaso para beber. Nos fuimos lo antes posible, que era el intervalo, y vimos al compinche discutiendo furiosamente con el organizador afuera - supongo que de manera similar debido a lo mucho que habían reservado la experiencia. Evitar a toda costa - definitivamente una experiencia para olvidar!

I booked Tea Party as part of my friends hen do. Sam was so helpful and responsive from the start and made the booking process so easy. She also helped me to decide about options for the tea and decorations which I found very useful. On the day, the room was beautifully decorated and laid out. We added some bits of our own too like photographs which Sam was very accommodating about. When my friend arrived, she burst into tears as the venue was so special and just for her! Sam and her staff we extremely attentive throughout the tea, constantly topping up the food and refilling our drinks. The food was delicious also, really lovely selection of sandwiches, cakes, patisserie and scones. We had a fantastic afternoon there, played games and just enjoyed having our own space for afternoon tea. I scouted out a lot of afternoon tea spots in London and wouldn’t have found better than this one. It is very reasonably priced, great selection of food, beautifully decorated and fantastic service. Couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you Sam!

Vine aquí con amigos un viernes por la noche para la discoteca tardía. La noche fue genial, todo el mundo lo estaba pasando bien y la música era buena. Definitivamente vale la pena una visita

Had high hopes for this place. Oddly they only sell their own fruit fizzy drinks so no Coca Cola, sprite, etc that was a huge put off not having your fav cold proper fizzy drink to wash it all down!! Reminds me of Five guys poor cousin. They say free topping but they are not passable. Could hardly identify the grilled mushroom, and fried onion it was a complete caramelised mush under the bun. Plus they are passing off fresh cucumber as advertised on their menu board as pickle when it hasn’t been pickled. When someone says pickle as a topping on a burger I will assume it’s a gherkin so seeing sliced fresh cucumber under my bun was poor effort and they have no jalapeños but advertised it as a free topping. Overall package is disappointing good effort with the beef patty and bun but for £8 for a single burger with poor offering of toppings and bland warm chips that are sat around to get cold while one person is serving and flipping burgers and a weird selection of non identifiable drinks £11 is not good value. Won’t be going back

Frisch zubereitete Frühstücksspeisen, die sehr schmackhaft und auch für das Auge schön zubereitet waren. Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Alles sehr sauber. Rundrum Klasse! Wir haben uns dort während unseres Aufenthaltes in London sehr wohl gefühlt!

Arreglé una despedida de retiro en la habitación de arriba para 30 personas con la ayuda del publicano, Ben y los restauranteros tailandeses, Duke y Dom. Singha y Poretti en el grifo, vinos decentes y mordiscos tailandeses todos entregados con un mínimo de alboroto. Fueron muy serviciales y aseguraron una noche fantástica. Felicitaciones especiales al joven camarero cuyo nombre no he pillado. Le enviamos dos tramos de escaleras para unos cuantos pedidos de bebidas especiales - nada era demasiado problema. También tienen planes para renovar la zona de bares en un futuro próximo. Pero todavía les doy 5 estrellas por el esfuerzo

¡Solo quería dar las gracias a Nimfa y al equipo! Hiciste el día tan memorable y especial para mi madre y nunca lo olvidaremos. Realmente aprecio todos sus esfuerzos. Esta es mi segunda visita y nos encantó nuestra experiencia y volveremos muy pronto. La comida, el té y el café eran absolutamente deliciosos. Y Nimfa fue tan atento y realmente hizo todo el día increíble. Mi mamá estaba celebrando su cumpleaños y el equipo, incluyendo el manager (sandeep) se esforzó tanto, y funcionó como mi mamá no fue irse. Todo el mundo es tan encantador y el lugar es espectacular. Estaremos felices de volver. El servicio, la comida y el lugar es de primera clase, si estás pensando en ir, te lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Hasta pronto y gracias por todo

Visitado hoy para el desayuno. Ahí a las 10. 10 solo para que te digan que no hay huevos o tocino disponibles ya que ‘el chef se va a casa pronto’. Realmente decepcionante. Tampoco hay dátiles / melaza disponible para la papilla “oh no tenemos eso aquí” Scone entregado en un plato sin mantequilla El café era agradable al igual que las papillas (aunque no lo suficientemente caliente pero no había otras opciones de desayuno caliente! ) Aseo en muy mal estado, necesita reforma Qué pena - Gails solía ser tan lujoso, diferente, vale la pena pagar extra. Ahora es solo un mal servicio y poco diferente de todas las otras cafeterías de cadena

Sometimes you need a hearty breakfast and so if you're in the area make your way here. Generous portion sizes, excellent coffee and yummy smoothies. As we don't live in the area I can't say that we’ll be back, but if we ever are then we will make a beeline for breakie here!

Visited this pub yesterday during the day , very accommodating to put on to Tv what we were looking for . service at bar quick and very friendly also available at table . Haven't visited in years met up with friends . Much cleaner pub as well then years ago and customer clientele of the right age in pub !!! we definitely be back and recommend to anyone in area to visit .

Si tienes elección ENTONCES no USES ESTE LUGAR. El desayuno se suponía que era buffet, no había cruasanes, etc, fruta fresca consistía en manzanas y media uva. Tuve que pedir el desayuno. Los huevos escalfados estaban fríos. El tocino estaba frío, lleno de grasa. Las peores salchichas que hemos probado. El huevo revuelto estaba anémico. Hongos fríos. El único pensamiento positivo fue el camarero. NUNCA MÁS. Un huésped nos advirtió que no comiéramos en el restaurante, ya que era basura muy cara.

Fantástico brunch con un amigo. Las porciones son tan grandes que tuve que llevarme algunas a casa. La calidad es insuperable. Sin duda recomiendo
