Very appalled with the quality of food, ordered 2flat iron steaks medium cooked , when they arrived the steak was very bloody , tough only ate 2 pieces sent it back to be reheated and it was tough as old boots. Reported a hair was found in the chip which put me off my food. Broccoli was so tough unable to eat and overall the food was like warm -very disappointing. The puddings were taken off the bill to compensate the disappointed meal but we encountered the puddings were cold and pastry case was so hard to cut !!

Such a wonderful evening at the Duke of Clarence. Great to be outside in their lovely garden setting. Vaisho, our lovely server, was so professional and helpful, as always . Thank you x

Popped in for lunch and had the pork schnitzel which was divine! Friendly and attentive staff. Pub has a beautiful garden which catches the sun too

A good location, nicely decorated inside and a good sized beer garden catching early evening sun. The service was good and food tasty if not somewhat pricey (£19 for a burger and fries with extras for additional charge, which was OK but under delivered)

Stopped by after a walk in busy park for a drink and supper. Extremely good service by Vaish and the food was excellent. The pork crunchies are genuine and the asparagus and burrata sumptuous. Definitely going to return for their roast on a Sunday

The Adelaide doesn’t even look much like a pub from the outside but go in and it’s very traditional. We went for Sunday lunch and were very impressed. The quality of the vegetables was especially good, a tricky thing to achieve with a traditional roast. And it was very good value. Two and a bottle of wine came to £35 a head. There us also a lovely garden but it might be a while before it’s warm enough to eat out. We are planning another visit before then.

Bad service which is unusual nains came out before starter was removed. Asked for gravy and was ignored had to ask twice, food wasn't hot. Waitress walked past a few times not asking how food was. So disappointing as love this pub. Hope I don't get this waitess again couldn't wait to leave. Nicki

It was the worst experience of my life. The food were tiny proportions and tasteless. The food and drink was grossly overpriced. The service was appalling. The servers looked underage and were extremely rude. We felt like garbage. I would never go back there again and highly recommend everyone should avoid these premises like the plague.

So nice to have an independent cafe on the high street , as opposed to the usual overpriced Starbucks and Gails , who seem to have taken over so much on the high street lovely Italian food from snacks/cakes to more substantial meals, great place to meet with friends, with nice atmosphere
