I had a great experience at this restaurant! Cozy atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. Highly recommend and will definitely return!

The atmosphere only ranked midway, purely because I popped in one lunchtime. It was relatively early, so not too many people there, although more were arriving throughout my visit. Plus, there were local issues that no doubt made a difference. Lovely venue with lots of various areas and quite private. I sat in the dining area overlooking a really nice outside space! I wouldn't have guessed it was there from the road. The guys were friendly and helpful. Apologies, I forgot to take photos! Next time..

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Always received a warm welcome and today whilst enjoying a refreshing drink on a hot summer's day in the lovely garden at The Hand and Flower, I decided to order a meal for the first time FIRST CLASS! Mediterranean Quinoa with Chicken Breast including olives, yellow peppers, red onion, rocket/mixed salad leaves, tomato, cucumber, feta cheese, vinaigrette dressing on the side (please refer to the menu for the full ingredients) Highly recommend the whole experience. Thank you.

Lovely pub, with a beautiful beer garden that has animals you can visit. It is truly a hidden gem by Ham Common.

Arrived at 955, shuts at 10 on a Saturday! What a hopeless dross pub. Refused us. Will soon be shut and replaced by more dwell boxes. Just as well.

Shocking food on a group booking. We waited over an hour, sent some items back, bland and beige. They did apologize.

Had a fantastic lunch at The Hand and Flower yesterday with friends. The food was delicious, with each dish made from fresh, quality ingredients bursting with flavour. The service was excellent, with attentive staff who went out of their way to ensure our satisfaction. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend for a great meal out with friends or family.

Came across by accident, while looking to meet somewhere else. Happy we did, very cozy and nice pub with very friendly service. The menu looks nice. They do jazz at valentine's day. There is a fireplace as well. Will come back to try the food.

What a great pub! I go often and went on Saturday night as well as there was a Ladies night event and absolutely loved it! The vibe was great, everyone had a fabulous time. They had live music as well which I thought was a very nice touch. Can’t believe I read a negative comment on that night as it was amazing, but I guess some people just don’t appreciate or recognise fun! Will surely be back for food and drinks soon!

A very peculiar "Pub"... Came for drinks on Saturday night - and got a very unwelcome welcome. Nothing like any other pubs around Richmond - I don't even know how this is even called a pub to be honest, it's very confusing. There are only a handful of chairs and tables for drinkers, which is odd. The vibe is mainly young clubbers there to get drunk, and it was full of drag queens... Stood at the bar for a good 5 mins before anyone even noticed us, all the bar people were just chatting amongst themselfves. We have a dog, and there are no rules shown anywhere in the pub that your dog must be on the lead, so we walked in like any other pub, with our dog on the lead. After time, our dog was very relaxed, so we took her off the lead, and she continued to sleep on the floor, minding her own business. About 30 mins in to our drinks, a waiter comes over, randomly, and says "Put your dog on the lead" it was very out of the blue, and given we have a therapy dog, it's not like she's badly behaved, or aggresive! Most likely will not be returning.

Amazing place - very lively environment, great food and fun atmosphere. We had an amazing time with my friends - will definitely be coming back soon

Diva Night I live in the area so I’ve been in the hand a couple of times in those times i saw a posters for an event called Diva night , I was free on the night so I decided to go with my misses and what a night it was. If it wasn’t known the hand was under new management this night was certainly a mark in the ground that the hand and flower is back to its best if not better With great accommodating staff making exiting cheap cocktails it aloud the night to run smoothly. A lovely division of space with the upstairs being a lively bar setting and the restaurant being turned into an eccentric dance floor me and my lady couldn’t help but dance to the fantastic vocalist showering us punters with classics like rolling on the river A great night which has certainly made me a regular More nights like this please!!

Took part in Thursday quiz. Great fun, nice venue. Only had drinks, no food this time.

Strange, nobody seemed to be eating.. Saturday night. Staff friendly and helpful. Food portions were huge and surprisingly good. I recommend the Chicken Parmigiana! More of a summer pub really, inside rather austere.

passing here sunday evening and remember it from years ago..thought have quick drink b4 long drive. Ended up staying a while It was quiet...i used wifi and got some 'work' done Listened to chilled pop music. Refurbed now with new management. They made me an irish coffee. most young bar staff dont know what that is. Due to my recent bike collision they supplied all my drinks in tall glass. The menu looks fantastic. Sadly kitchen closes before 7pm on a Sunday so i went home hungry The barMAID is pukka. She listens to your stories, laughs at the right places and is lovely..That is a barmaids real job! ...She MAKES this pub. They have pub pet fox ffs!! sadly i didnt see it

Popped on their Halloween quiz night. staff all dressed up, atmosphere good, staff friendly customers arrived dressed for occasion. Can't comment on food, as I haven't eaten there, nor have I heard any bad reviews.

Lived in the postcode now for over 7 years and first time popping in for a pint. What a really lovely pub with a great bear garden. Staff were warm and friendly. Service was great. No Guinness but a Youngs London Porter, which was in great order and a nice selection of not so common beers and ciders, which is nice to see. The IPA was great. Highly recommended. Update: Have now been back for a couples lunch and both the vegan and I enjoyed it a lot.

New management and a new menu, both of which are excellent! It’s great to have a nice local pub again! The staff are very friendly and attentive. The beer garden at the back is great for everyone too.

I went to the hand and flower for the first time on Thursday and participated in their weekly pub quiz! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming and had the best time with my family. We will be coming to the quiz again very soon. The food was hearty and delicious and the service was fast and the owners and staff were very friendly :) would recommend!

The place has been done up beautifully. The service is great and the food is delicious. The little rescue animal sanctuary out the back is just amazing.

Really disappointed with the food. Two from our party had the cheeseburger. They were both dry and tasteless, the bun was dry and there was hardly any sauce. The menu said it comes with salad. All you get is a small piece of lettuce and tomato in the bun. On the positive side, the staff were extremely dog friendly and made our two dogs feel at home.

This place shocked me, firstly it's nothing like what you expect it to be walking in it is actually a sizable establishment and the food was fantastic but the nicest part about the venue was the beautiful garden with the aviary with rabbits and different budgies/birds and to top it off they have a pet fox who is clearly happy and loves the attention of people and shows it by jumping about and showing you his toys etc Absolutely not what I was expecting but we'll worth a visit

A lovely 'quiet' pub with a relaxed vibe and family friendly atmosphere. The place was full but not overcrowded with unobtrusive background music and a pleasant temperature throughout. On the day of the Ham fayre and the hottest day of the year so far we had hired a small area for a private function. The Hand and Flower provided the most exceptional pub buffet we've ever had. Freshly cooked hot items were perfect, beautifully seasoned and incredibly tasty. The sandwiches were basic (as we had asked for) and plentiful and the tour de force was a massive platter of both hand made pork pies and amazing sausage rolls. Fresh fruit, vegetables, salad and sauces rounded out a fantastic spread much of which we ended up doggy bagging. An enjoyable afternoon experience including a fishpond and small animal enclosure which kept the kids from getting bored. Highly recommended.

First time I’ve been here and it was quite a mixed experience. The garden was lovely and it was a nice touch to have the menagerie of animals there too. It got a bit chilly in the evening so ventured inside for food and a seat. The Korean burger was a bit overpriced at £16 and was very basic and quite pale in appearance making it not very appetising. There were also quite a few lads who were getting a bit out of control too which was uncomfortable, so we left after eating. The drinks prices were pretty standard and staff friendly. I’d probably return for an outside drink, but not for the food or inside atmosphere though.

Monday lunchtime so very quiet. Spacious and very welcoming. The £10 lunchtime special ,which included a very decent glass of wine, was excellent value. I will certainly visit again.

Absolutely love the new owners of the Hand and Flower. What they’ve done to rejuvenate this pub in just a few months is amazing. You’ll get a warm welcome, lovely atmosphere and great live music. That’s not mentioning the largest beer garden I’ve ever seen in the area. I can tell that the garden is going to become a favourite summer hang out just opposite lovely Ham Common and just outside the stunning Richmond Park. Ps my little dog was made to feel so welcome and as the owners are animal rescuers their mini menagerie at the end of the garden is a must see for animal lovers. A barn owl, a fox, rabbits, ducks…

Nice local beers on tap, the bar area is really nice. I sat round the back overlooking the huge beer garden, where they have comfy outdoor seating and loads of space. The rack of ribs was amazing, they have a smoker, I'm going back again to order the same thing soon

Met friends here and had a very nice steak, they had the fish+chips deal that came with a really nice bottle of wine. Good service,nice staff, will definitely recommend it to others and will going back ourselves.

Very high end pub with great food, service and outdoor areas. There are rabbit hutches, foxes, ducks and owls as well in the garden area which is a really nice touch!

Had a lovely two course meal yesterday at The Hand and Flower - the vegetarian pasta was the highlight in my opinion. Staff was very polite and atmosphere friendly. Highly recommend this family friendly pub.

Went for lunch at the newly opened Hand And Flower recently. Traditional pub at the front and gastro pub at the back. Light and roomy in the dining area and the beer garden looks like a good spot for the Spring/Summer. The food was really tasty and the portion size was very generous. We will be going again. I hope it will be a success.

Six of us had a fabulous Sunday lunch there. First time visit since change of ownership and refurbishment and what a great little pub. We all had roasts and the portions were great as was the taste. Was quite keen on the mango cider too. Looking forward to our next visit.

Lovely to see this pub open again. A proper pub with great proper pub grub. Had an amazing chicken and Leek pie too big for me to finish (my husband would have done but he wasn't with me) only slight problem was it was a bit cold - not the food - probably heating costs.... Pay them a visit ...

We went there on Wednesday lunch time. It had a very sad atmosphere with a gloomy sullen Gothic barmaid. No other customers except an old man in a wheelchair. The whole place was shabby and had seen better days. We asked for a hot drink but the sullen barmaid shook her head. Asked for orange juice and was given mango juice. Will not be returning. Go there if you like to be depressed.

So much potential, but little effort made to capitalize on this. I can't see how the owners can make this pay. Get rid of the huge telly in the garden. Employ a decent chef who would devise a decent menu and this place is could be a goldmine. We intended dining here, but we were put off by the burger heavy menu and little else to choose from

Lovely garden but disappointed there was no food.

Its got a massive ticky-tacky-shabby-mix and match garden. Used to be an inn, dates back to the 18th century. Fantastic. The inside is what I would call, traditional pub look, with a massive fire place. Probably privately owned, one of the few left I guess. There is a small but fair selection of ale, lager and cidre available. The usual suspects are all available. Im chuffed to refer to it as, my local pub.

I went with my friend intending to have dinner. We were stopped on the way in by a young man who wanted out details for covid purposes. He asked if that was my number in a w ay that made me feel very uncomfortable. I felt harrassed.We went in to the "beer garden" which was a plastic shed. It was filthy and almost empty except for a group of drunkards swearing loudly.We left and will NEVER go back.

Me and my wife booked for our 1st anniversary. We had to book about 8 months in advance.On arrival I was stuck by the hospitality. We were welcomed and sat down at the bar by but restaurant. We were also given a complementary glass of champagne each too.The meal and the staff were faultless from start to finish.My wife is currently pregnant, the staff outlined what was on menu that she could eat.The food was to die for, even tho it was a little on the steep side. Lovely food, we would both definitely recommend.

I had a katsu curry. Was a great size portion and so tasty. I would definitely recommend it!! Staff really friendly too. 5 star service

It's a pub. Just off Ham Common. Surprisingly offers Korean and Japanese cuisine in this area. Smelled fantastic! Dropped in for two cleansing ones and while quiet (the Ham Fair was on across the road) the service was fine and the beers cold. As I live in Asia and I'm over here on holidays, I doubt that I'll eat there but I reckon a revisit for another London Pride or two is on the cards.

Popped in as me and my friend were looking for a pub we could take the dog, nice enough looking pub but you got the feeling that they don’t really want people who aren’t locals in the place. Very pretentious feel about the place. The barmaid turned a bit snotty when she wanted to close the place too, just doesn’t feel like a very welcoming pub, I won’t be going back there again.

We just drove past and it looked really cute so we popped in. We were so pleasantly surprised to see they served Asian food. The food was lovely and the beer garden is peaceful and spacious. We loved it!

Excellent food and service. My family and i have been on several occasions and we have had a lovely waitress, always smiling and very helpful with menu. The quality of the dishes are excellent and there are certain promotions for different days of week. The restaurant has a front and back seating area for drinks and for smoking. The restaurant interior is pretty, and it’s clean.

I do enjoy a chicken shop after a few beers. However this pub provides the best of both worlds. Few beers deep and I ordered the Asian infused wings - I was not disappointed. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu
