The Cabbage Patch in Richmond upon Thames

Met fellow Warriors supporters and the occasional Quins fan LOL. A great atmosphere and service. One of the best for rugby pre and post match.

The Cabbage Patch is a three in one. A traditional bar with sports TVs on every wall and two music venues. One downstairs, for a younger audience and a more mature scene upstairs. I saw Medicine Head, upstairs and they were superb. All good...

It's an excellent pub to watch sports. With a good selection of beers. With the excellent Eel pie club upstairs to see & hear brilliant band upstairs👍

Expensive and busy on game day. Don't be looking to sit down or save for retirement. But the vibe is great and everyone - as its associated very closely with the stadium and the rugby games, everyone is lovely and friendly and their are a lot of family's that come through.

A great rugby pub, especially if you're a Quins fan! The usual Fuller's beers and very average pub food. Lots of Quins and 6 mains memorabilia on the walls, including a little shrine to Joe Marler.

Only ever here pre or post rugby so it's always busy but it's a great atmosphere and the staff are super on it.

Nice pub just out the train station. Not sure how viable it would be for an international match day as it was very busy for a quids match. But worth a visit if you about.

Amazing pub in the heart of Twickenham

Iconic rugby boozer that always has a fabulous atmosphere, but it completely mystifies me how they can charge £6.30 for a can of Guinness Zero, yet across the road at the William Webb Ellis the same drink is £2.72 !!!

Saw Broomdasher and The Shackleton Trio there tonight at Twickfolk. Nice room with its own toilets. Very friendly; excellent sets from both bands. Hope to he back soon.

A quiet day at the Cabbage Patch. A traditional rendezvous for England supporters when the game is at Twickenham. A fine selection of cask ales along with a good selection of keg beers, all there to stop you going thirsty. Excellent service and a fun atmosphere to welcome those braving the grotty wet weather. Busy rugby day and i turned up a bit worse for wear but the doormen were friendly and understanding and let me in.Inside good selection of beer,served by friendly,efficient,hardworking staff

I visited the pub with my little boy on Sunday. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was great and the garden is lovely. I also accidentally left my little boys water bottle on the bar and a member of staff chased us down by the station to return it. Top quality, we’ll be back soon for sure, many thanks!! 😁

great place for a pint, and live sport

Famed the world over this iconic Twickers boozer is somewhere you need to try if visiting the borough. It’s not hard to find if you’re travelling by train. Lots of good beers on offer and they do some lovey food. During the summer it has a huge beer garden where you can sit outside.

Omg soooooooo expensive 9.90 for a glass of house white wine. Could you please stop taxing women. Wasn’t even a notable wine.

Very nice Goan curry before seeing a terrific band

I have spent 2 hours waiting for a burger that reeked of oil. Worst burger I have ever eaten in my life. The employees did not care at all, they just told me to keep waiting, so not only I ate a bad burger, but also I had to eat it with a hot pepsi as the ice had already melted TWO HOURS AGO.

Great place for a quiet lunchtime pint with a spicy chicken curry.

Great location quality beer with friendly staff but as a Quinssa supporter was frustrated when I was charged £7+ for a pint on a Twickenham day

Attended event at Eel Pie Club upstairs, very OVER crowded and totally inadequate seating arrangements for elderly. The beer and the show were good, but venue needs a rethink

Had a great night here recently for a 60th birthday party. Good music venue.

Match day visit... Busy as fook as expected... Not a single spot to stand where someone else isn't trying to get past you... Bit annoying... They don't care about the state of the pints of Guinness they were throwing across the counter...

Great spot for live jazz. Watched Alan Barnes and Matt Sulzman recently. Great gig. Fab musicians.

A reference place in the world of English rugby. A mandatory stopover if you go to Twickenham and especially if there is a match.

Went on a Six Nations day. Pleasantly surprised re the great outdoor space and ease of getting served. Recommended.

Relaxing atmosphere, neat and tidy. Food was excellent, served very hot. Service was excellent, friendly staff. Just a nice, comfortable vibe to the place.

Was here for my cousins little girls christening, all staff was amazing and good was delicious, but bathrooms could be cleaner! But overall had such a great time and we all enjoyed ourselves

I went for a few drinks to watch the Wales v Scotland match on TV. I managed to find a seat. But was intimidated by a group of people. They were so arrogant. I was not wearing any team colours. So good will not visit again due to your rude customers.

Very popular and very busy. This is a great local pub. We were there on a Monday night with no game at the stadium nearby and the place was full. Food was good and the staff is fantastic. It’s a decent size too. Lots of tables and so popular it fills up fast.

Lovely Christmas decorated room - table lay out good. Service and meal fine the sweet good - but needed to be bit larger - very small. Staff really good an helpful. Would go again The Cabbage Patch gave us an enjoyable evening.....

Spent a glorious Thursday afternoon at a reunion. Great beer, great service & a great atmosphere.

Attended chr8stmas market today. Loads of gift ideas. Definitely worth a visit.

Visited here on Wednesday (15th) and was surprised how busy it was even more so when I discovered it was £7.50 a pint. I get that this is a rugby pub and can get away with charging a bit more on match days however this wasn't a match day therefore making it one of the most expensive pubs I've been to in South West London. Even in London's west end you can get a Neck Oil for £6.50. The food wasn't much better. £16.50 for a pretty terrible looking scampi and chips and £21 for a kilo of wings. The wings were actually very nice but way too expensive and they appear to have just charged you for 3 single portions (£7) instead of giving you some sort of deal for ordering a kilo. Some pubs seem to think that because competitors are charging 17 quid for a burger and chips they can too but those pubs aren't serving up food that looks like it's from a frozen foods store which is unfortunately what you get here. Seen a lot of reviews about staff being terrible here but that definitely wasn't the case for us. They were very friendly and efficient when it came to serving.

Go to bar when I come to see the rugby wheather irs quins or the national team. Good beer and food .

Popped in for a drink before a Quins game, great atmosphere and lively. Good drinks on offer, looks like lots of tables around but we entered at the peak of fans in there. We didn't have any food on this visit. Can't wait to go in to watch an away game at some point!

A very nice pub. Clean,tidy and well maintained. The bar man was friendly and very knowledgeable on all things Rugby. The service was excellent and there are large screen TV's everywhere so it's great for watching sport.

This is a great pub, and full of rugby history and memorabilia. On the day we were there World Cup winner Jason Robinson was for a Q&A, which was outstanding. However, and obviously understandly so, queues were long and service was slow at times!

Visited here after watching Quins v Barbarians. Then watched the England game. Love this place.

An expensive sports bar, pretty good service though.

It’s a good option for before or after rugby pints but because if that it’s busy so if you are going expect there to be queues. Bathrooms aren’t always the cleanest.

My 'local' whilst I was over for the harlequins vs barbarians game Been most nights I've been over for a tipple, the haka ale was amazing, slightly sad I won't get to try it again On the Sunday night I got the crispy squid, which was to be served with 'coriander, chilling, lime and a chilli jam'....as a chef it was extremely easy to tell it was a chilli mayo...even people with no cheffing experience could tell this....it tasked like mayo 🤣🤣🤣 squid was over-cooked and chewy...which is easy enough to-do...hence the 3* Bar staff over the weekend have been superb, and would highly recommend coming here!!!

First time in this very famous Blues venue. Struck by the intimacy you experience with the artists while performing. Interesting tiered seating in a horseshoe around the stage. Almost as if you were sharing the limelight. Have to mention the sound engineer His production was fantastic with all band members able to do thier thing without having to fight over the others Audience very appreciative and respectful, as it should be. Certainly recommend and will return

Fabulous lunch for 6 before Twickenham rugby match. The staff were amazing, I cannot praise them enough, they were so helpful and friendly - would not let me go to the bar just kept bringing lovely food and kept us topped up with drinks on a very busy match day lunch.
