A warm welcome on arrival. Staff were so attentive and professional. Was really impressed with the festive turkey it exceeded our expectations and we we’ll 100% return with our families.

Yet another lovely afternoon at the Tide End. James and Rachel are lovely, warm and welcoming and the atmosphere is great for kids and adults alike. Our six year old ate sausage and mash and it was a big portion and he absolutely loved it. Great time, great value, highly recommend it.

Tide End offers a nice ambiance for drinks. They offer a good variety of beer and a fine selection of quality gins. The staff are welcoming and provide a good efficient service. Very convenient location to the Thames Path

We recently visited Tide End Cottage for a family meal, and it was a fantastic experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a friendly and relaxed vibe that made us feel right at home. The restaurant is perfect, and our three kids were made to feel just as welcome as we were. Rachel really took great care of us and is a massive credit to the team! The food was absolutely amazing. Every dish we tried was full of flavor, and it was clear that great care went into preparing each meal. Well had a wonderful time at Tide End Cottage and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in a cozy, family-friendly setting. We'll definitely be back!

I was absolutely delighted to Pop in to this wonderful pub .. Straight away the Friendly staff were very welcoming and helpful.. The menu was excellent and catered for Vegan and vegetarian food.. The portions were perfect and the taste excellent.... Definitely Great value for the money..My friends really enjoyed large choices the Beers and drinks available.. Brilliant day today, even though it seemed as though everyone was rushed off their feet they still managed to deal with a very busy mob! Top Quality people as always and made me and all my family and friends feel welcome! Food was AMAZING!

Lovely pub just beside the river...friendly service and good beer. On this occasion we ordered no food and it was very quiet, perfect to have a conversation.

We didn't know about this pub and popped it as we walked past. Had a lovely couple of drinks sitting outside the front. The staff were fabulous, just really nice prople with good energy. A great recommendation from them for thick cut chips with the seasoning - delicious! Great sunny spot out front too. A real gem and we will be back!

The menu was great and staff very welcoming and helpful. Our lunch was super tasty Salmon Fish Cakes with salad and we chose to share fries. Very nice. Whilst there is little outside space, inside is lovely regardless.

Visited here recently for a family birthday and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Super friendly team that were brilliant with the kids. The food was great and our whole party had a great day.

I visited this pub recently and was amazed by the great service and even better food (I highly recommend the fish and chips). My dog, Buddy, loves the easy access to treats behind the bar and water bowl on demand. Very friendly staff and I will definitely be coming again next time Buddy and I are on a walk as he loved the attention.

Stopped in on a dog walk by the river, staff were all very welcoming. Wasn’t planning on eating but the food looked delicious, was very impressed with the Hake Ragu. Highly recommend!

A bit quiet on a Friday evening but the food was good.

Whatever this pub claims, it is NOT a dog-friendly establishment, and the staff will bluntly inform patrons of arbitrary unwritten rules such as: - no dogs by bar area (even if you’re just placing an order) - no dogs on (any) seats - no dogs on your lap or on your coat Just to mention a few. From the moment you enter with a pooch, they make it clear in subtle and not so subtle ways that dogs really aren’t welcomed in this establishment. OK food.

A lovely relatively small charming traditional pub dating back to 1820. it is a stones throw away from Teddington Lock and the River Thames. There is very little off street parking available.A small garden seating at the rear. Staff were welcoming. A good choice of real ales and wine. A varied menu at lunchtime and prices are what you would expect in this more upmarket area of Teddington. The food was sell presented hot and properly cooked

It's my first visit. The Yorkshire pudding is crispy and not oily at all. I like the roasted taste of the vegetables. The beef is nice too. The warm sticky toffee pudding is rich. The service is very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

This was a really friendly cosy pub with really great quality food. I had a burger and chips and my partner a really nice piece of hake in ragu. We were recommended to eat here and can concur that it is well worth it.

It was supposed to be a nice Sunday lunch but I was very disappointed as after my steak arrived I realised it was completely inedible, I couldn't even cut it let alone chew it. We immediately sent it back and they brought out a separate steak pretty much identical to the last. We gave up trying to ask for a different steak so Instead asked for spare roast beef which was much nicer. Other food was nice but Don't ORDER THE STEAK !

Good food, a little expensive, but then everything is these days. Not everything on the menu was available. Excellent beers. Very attentive service. Friendly atmosphere. Feels like a place where people can just go for a quiet pint.

Small and friendly pub close to the centre of Teddington and the river. Good beer range and decent food. Small front and rear outdoor seating areas. A much better pub than its huge rival (The Anglers Inn), but without the river frontage.

Great bar, nice atmosphere and feels like a nice local bar

A solid pub we use for board game evenings. The lighting is a little on the low side but manageable. Available tables are a little on the small side unless your lucky enough to get one of the two large round tables if the pub is busy.

Giving a 5star rating because apart from a lovely, warm and friendly atmosphere and service, a glass of prosecco is £5.85 an absolute delight compared to other local pubs charging between £8-£11...What's not to love!

Good warm cosy pub to have a drink in. Despite being a Greene King house a good selection of real ales on tap. I have not eaten here so cannot comment on the food, the beer though was in good condition and had a good chat in pleasant in a nice reasonably priced pub.

This sits in the shadows of The Anglers but I prefer it for its more intimate atmosphere (and more accessible prices)

Traditional Green King pub - set next to the river so great for going for a walk. Food is very good, always served fresh and hot. Service is top notch. Only downside is the atmosphere which is a bit lacking but other than that it's a great pub. Excellent pub quiz on a wednesday.

We had our Christmas party at Tide End yesterday - the food was delicious, it was a really warm and welcoming atmosphere and they catered really well for those with dietary requirements too. Thanks for hosting us so well - would definitely recommend!

I am editing the really positive review I left previously, following a disappointing experience a few weeks ago. I booked lunch for my birthday, having had many very positive experiences over the years. This time was different. The person I spoke to on the phone when I tried to book was rude and unhelpful, and made me book online even though I'd told her the number of people who were likely to be coming and it wasn't possible to book online for that many. The roast I had was dry and tasteless, with overcooked beef and undercooked vegetables and potatoes. My partner came in with a birthday cake as a surprise a couple of days before and said to me later that the staff were rude and indifferent about taking it. Fair enough if they didn't want to but they should have said so. When it came to bringing the cake out he said they made this unnecessarily difficult and complicated. This meant it wasn't a surprise. I didn't mind but he was disappointed. By this time we'd run out of our allotted time at the table and had to huddle outside to eat the cake in the cold garden with the smokers. We had to ask them to bring plates and cutlery for the cake, another process that seemed to take ages for no reason, and they brought 5 plates for 8 people. We were told when we arrived that we had a limited time at the table but not when I booked. I don't like this conveyer belt approach , it's not hospitable. We were made to feel unwelcome throughout the process and I don't think it was justified. No one in our party was rude, difficult , unpleasant , loud etc. The staff made it clear they didn't want us so I am sure they will be glad to know that we won't be coming here to eat again.

Went for Sunday lunch which was decent enough. Importantly plenty of roast potatoes! Good service. Didn't book but managed to squeeze us in. Nice pint of Bonkers.

A lovely pub and great food. I want to say great bar staff but we all went up separately and found the bar person, Damien ill informed and condescending. However his behaviour improved after we had taken his name. But we didn't want to spend a lot more in the pub, although we would have liked to as a result of his previous behaviour. And for future reference. I would've needed to go through the Greene King app to generate the code you assumed was on the blue light card as a normal feature. If you had informed me of this, the entire situation would've been avoided.

The pub is tucked away but nice people inside and good drinks

A real shame. We have been here twice before and really enjoyed it. However, the food today was awful. The salad which cost 14.50 was pathetic looking, something I could have thrown together from Tesco for less than £4. It had chewy chicken and was tiny. My partner’s roast wasn’t good. To be fair to the staff, they offered to bulk up the salad, but it was so unappealing I actually didn’t want more of it. Won’t be coming again.

Great pub with lovely staff and management. The only thing is that their outside area is really uncomfortable. I think the seat cushions were stolen and the brewery just haven’t bothered replacing them. Shame really cause it lets the place down.

Tide End could be a great pub. Service was surly. Worst bland nachos I've ever had - ⁸ nothing like menu description. Hard, uncomfortable, no cushions seating the front terrace. A sad place given its lovely location. Come on someone rescue it!
