Just dropped in for a pint after many years absence from The Blucher and I have to say that the pint of Pride was just beautiful. My tastes in beer may have changed over the decades, but London Pride is still the one I'd go for if I could only drink one beer for the rest of my life

An amazing back garden -first time in. There was no much choice of food during the week when we went in and a little bit of wait.

Had a simple yes or no question and was met by a really rude and sarcastic female member of staff. The food is average at best.

Head chef Dominic lovely guy! Fish and chips were to die for... This is my regular lunch break dinner and has been for the past year or so!

Very nice beer garden but not set up well for sporting events. Food is typical fullers type of stuff. Pretty good quality but a bit expensive.

Stopped in for a drink on our way to the rugby. They have modernised the garden which is lovely, staff were friendly, good drink selection, clean toilets

Went there before and after the prem final 24 much less packed than Twickenham pubs but still busy. Nice staff good beers and a large outdoor area, mainly covered. Burgers going down well with lots of people.

Excellent Sunday roast, ample portions and Fizzy was on great form. Local, so will go again soon for sure.

We hosted a surprise 40th for my brother here, had an amazing area in the sun with the fenced off garden area for adults and kids to run around, the atmosphere was fantastic. Staff were great, everyone was very friendly, Fizzy went above and beyond to help us plan, set up and have a great day.

Good beer but TOO expensive. Good food but portions and quality don't warrant the pricing. Good facilities and quality furnishings.

This Used to Be My local. Came back after 6 years to a very different pub. My partner and I ordered dinner at the bar. His came out promptly and he had finished before mine even arrived. When we complained My partner was offered a free pint as an apology and that never came either. No condiments o n the table, 5 deep at the bar and staff although polite had a very carefree attitude. I was gutted it had changed so much 😪

A very nice place and great company

Staff were really nice, the the food was expensive for what it was. My daughter have a chicken burger (thigh) and the thigh was tiny. Literally a small circle of meat in a big bun. The pork schnitzel was tough and a small bit of mushroom sauce on top, and the chips were basically countable, maybe 15? The thing is the prices were not pub grub, and because you couldn't order at the bar the bill included service too. £70 for really very little and nothing more than you could do for yourself from tesco. I don't mind spending money if you feel that you haven't been shafted.

Lovely choice of beers, nice location and friendly staff.

The best thing about this place is the outside. It has a large garden with some sections covered and heated. It's a good place to come to after rugby. The outside bar and pizza really helps getting drinks quicker.

Good food at local pub on Twickenham Green

We just had our Christmas lunch here yesterday and the food was top notch. The main roast was just perfect, not dry, temperature was good, potatoes nice and crisp and fluffy...all the trimmings were great, loads of gravy... I could eat it all over again. Starters and desserts were tasteful and nicely presented... Xmas pudding not so much, but the chocolate Delice and Tiramisu were very good. Thank you

Good location and selection of drinks. Always easy to get served. The food many is very limited its number of items and range. Good place for a drink but not food.

RUDE staff! When asking for help ignored until I had to put my hand up like a child to try to gain the waitress attention, (to busy talking to other staff in the coffee area and flirting with chefs) she shouted WHAT?! rather than walking over and helping me while taking my order. I was told that asking excuse me several times to no effect that then rasing my hand like a child in a class room waiting there turn was Rude? I asked her did you just say what when I've addressed you with excuse me? To which she replied I didn't mean what, so I asked for the issue to be resolved calmly and explained that the drinks she poured where flat and she had not finished the order or even taken payment. I was told by the other staff that saying excuse me while having then then repeat myself to gain her attention was rude. The blonde waitress with glasses then went on to attempt to get the local publicans to lynch me while with a new born child my wife and 2 other children aged 4 and 7 Avoid this pub

Great place to watch the game! So much space

I went here with my family for a pre match meal before watching Harlequins. The outside seating area was glorious in the unexpected October sunshine, and was perfect for some great food and pints before heading off to watch the rugby.

Good atmosphere for the rugby, good tables with view of the screen. Clean bathrooms, friendly staff and those who ate said the food was decent as well.

The place is huge and well decorated. There's also a big outdoor Space to eat or have a drink. The service was very nice. As a vegeterian, I've been able to try their amazing nut roast. I enjoyed everything!

Great spot for before a rugby match at Twickenham - a decent walk from the station, but worth the space. Particularly good for large bookings.

Bar staff more concerned on serving regulars than people in the queue. Won't be back

Excellent pub on the edge of Twickenham Green. A very traditional look with good server and a decent selection of drinks. I can recommend the Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Very delicious with very generous portion sizes.

The only good thing about working at Britannia Row was that this pub was thirty seconds away.

Disappointed with food...very dry. Salad garnish was long past its sell by date.

Sadly attended following a funeral. The staff were very helpful.

Very expensive food and drink. Food took nearly 1 hour to come out after I chased and only saw 4 other people eating. Burger was inedible and portions tiny. Had 3 pints and was charged 3 different prices with a £1.20 price spread. Area is nice and outside area pleasant. But don’t eat here even if you can afford the inflated prices.

A pretty standard Fullers pub with a large garden and showing the sport. It seems Cruzcampo is the latest beer to try and take over the world and is appearing all over the place, including here. A decent pint to be fair. Staff were friendly and the place does the job. The standard Fullers prices of being above average means just the four stars. Also was disappointing that they setup a stall for the High Tide Festival and were selling chips for £5 and burgers for £10. This was much more than the artisan butcher doing the same thing in town for a fraction of the price. Fullers need to get their prices under control rather than scaring people away!

Made 14 out of 16 people ill with the food including children definitely would never eat here again

Just a quick visit for a late evening pint to help me sleep after a busy day. Friendly greeting, nice ambience and a pleasant garden with plenty of seating. No food this time but, when next in the area, I'll be back to check it out.

It was lovely to celebrate the end of term in a relaxed setting. The staff made it such a successful night with their attention and ability to adapt to last minute alterations. The whole process from my first enquiry to book the event, to the end of the night was really smooth and hassle free. The pizzas and salad were really tasty and the chips were a great hit! So many people mentioned how great the chips were, I have lost count!

We have been to this pub on a few occasions but recently have eaten there twice . Food is delicious manager and staff very accommodating. Will definitely be back again . Thank you for looking after us.

Had lovely fush and chips, lovely bar staff,ans foid service, however we were in the garden and it must close early probably because of noise to neighbours-not a problem but the way we were told to move ibside was extremely rude

When I was there I drank Naked Ladies this beer is amazing and I ate Pork ribs, definitely was só good as well.

Best pub in Twickenham! The Prince Blucher is fabulous. It has a lovely cosy feel inside and a fabulous garden outside. The food and menu is plentiful and we’ve had many a fantastic time with friends and family over the years. We had a bit of a hiccup on a visit a couple of months ago but Georgios and his team absolutely restored faith on a family celebration there on Saturday. Fabulous team, setting and fortunate to call it our local. Keep up the great work 💛 , Susie x

We've been to this pub occasionally on an off for a while now. We really enjoyed coming especially when it was summer...this time we popped in and sat outside it looked a little unloved this time and the kids play area had gone ..the most annoying thing was the price of the drinks ...over £15 for a wine and a beer !! While i understand prices have gone up in every aspect this is actually a bit of a rip off...the night before we went to lovely pub in Kensington and payed £14 for the same round...the pub across the road also charged £12

All good. Beers, food, staff. Update after Mothers Day visit. Probably a mistake to have a roast dinner at 7.00pm. Roast sirloin was very poor, tough and full of gristle. Cauliflower cheese was supposed to be included but was missing so we asked for it. A small dish with a bit of rough cauliflower and no sauce was brought out - we asked for some sauce on it. Waitress returned again from the kitchen to advise us there wasn't any cauliflower cheese left but we could have more other veg - which happens but my daughter thought the cauliflower brought out looked liked leftovers, which was very off putting. It was probably better to have told us upfront. When the meal was finished we had to ask for the table to be cleared. We waited but were not asked if we would like a desert or coffee, so we paid at the bar and left. A real shame because I like the place. Not sure I will eat here again.

Plates were cold so food cooled down very quickly no cutlery came out with mains so people were waiting for a while to start to eat. Was not informed that the kitchen had closed to order dessert

Booked a table for a family meal unfortunately only a limited set price menu was available due to a rugby fixture ..food average with a sponge pudding served cold ! Prices inflated by at least 30% probably to pay the numbers of staff , at least 4 at all times during our visit standing at the till. Avoid on a rugby day unless you wish to pay for a mediocre meal at an inflated price

Staff were friendly & helpful, but food wasn't good & rather disappointing. The fish finger sandwich was all batter & no fish & the portion was huge, so over half was wasted & because I didn't enjoy it, I didn't want a doggy bag. There also seemed to be no disabled toilet facilities on the ground floor & as someone on oxygen 24/7 having to go to the 1st floor was inconvenient, to say the least. Sorry Prince Blucher but I won't be back.

...but got a bit sick of the gobby coked up East 17 bargain basement tribute act shouting his mouth off in the bar. Usually a nice place and I guess every pub gets a scumbag visit from time to time.

Lovely warm cosy friendly pub!! Would recommend lots of families on a Sunday, we had burgers and really enjoyed them.

I think the title of this review says it all. The friends I was with said they had experienced similar rudeness at other times so not a one off. Unpleasant.

Called in on Sunday, and the staff were great. Even though they were short staffed and very busy, they gave us a table, and we got served straight away. Well done to all. Thanks for the lovely roast dinner and to the manager who looked after us. Just one little thing, which is just my thought, but I will ask next time, and that is for the gravy to be served separately .

If you’re looking for somewhere to host an event, give Chris a call! We celebrated an engagement with lunch in October and Chris and his team looked after us all so well. Yesterday we chose to go along to The Prince Blucher with family and friends for drinks after a funeral, there was around 25 of us and a little last minute but when we turned up and asked Chris if he would accommodate us, he set us up in the corner and him and his team couldn’t do enough to ensure we all had a great time. The dogs love it here too! Been coming here for years, and will continue to do so. Big thank you to Chris and the team 😎

Pub on the side of the green. Very handy for rugby day drinks at both The Stoop and Twickenham. Book a table and show plenty of time if you want food.

To many premium beers it needs a few traditional lagers and beers

Had a prebooked lunch here ahead of attending an England Rugby match. The staff and food was excellent in a very busy environment.

Friendly staff, decent food. Great if you support Harlequins, as it is their home pub and you get a discount. Visited again yesterday (Nov 22) and all the above is true. They feed you quickly and the waitress was lovely

Super rugby pub, great place to meet before a Quins game - much more crowded for England. Then pop round the corner to Twickenham Ales brewery tap room for one for the walk to the stadium.

I guess we were just unlucky today. Called into this pub for lunch, table of six, four adults and two children. Virtually empty pub and an hours wait for our food. After 40 minutes we were told it would be 6 minutes...twenty minutes later it arrived. I guess the order hadn't been sent to the kitchen initially. Food was good and we were offered complimentary desserts as compensation. These then appeared on the bill. There are loads of great eating establishments in Twickenham so we won't be back here. Also £5 for olives?? No thanks!!

The Prince Blucher oozes old world charm mixed with an indoor/outdoor ambience which caters for all age groups and tastes. The staff are always friendly and efficient and the pub offers all that is best about Fuller's franchises. The garden is very spacious and kid friendly with separate areas for smokers and non smokers alike. The WI fi is fast and all in all it's a great place to spend a sunny afternoon. **** Update....I revisited this pub after a long hiatus as it's always been one of my favourites. I understand that inflation and price increases are sweeping the country but The Prince Blucher (maybe all Fuller's locations?) is really charging eye-watering prices by anyone's standards. One pint and one spirit with mixer cost £16 ...the same drinks in the General Roy cost £7. I understand that Twickenham probably carries more expenses to run but the Barmy Arms (right on the Thames in Twickenham) is 25% cheaper for the same drinks and has the benefits of the river view and outdoor music, which is sadly lacking from the gardens of the Prince Blucher. Bitterly disappointed that Fuller's have priced me out of visiting one of my favourite locations.

Watch out for the 10% service charge on food and drink orders for two people. It only states 12.5% on groups of 8 or more. Not very good for customer relations

Well organised, well managed pub. The food for a match day lunch was basic but good. Impressed with the ability to pre order which was not unreasonable. Slick operation in a nice venue. Will visit again
