Andy’s Bangin Burgers in Tower Hamlets

Had high hopes for this place. Oddly they only sell their own fruit fizzy drinks so no Coca Cola, sprite, etc that was a huge put off not having your fav cold proper fizzy drink to wash it all down!! Reminds me of Five guys poor cousin. They say free topping but they are not passable. Could hardly identify the grilled mushroom, and fried onion it was a complete caramelised mush under the bun. Plus they are passing off fresh cucumber as advertised on their menu board as pickle when it hasn’t been pickled. When someone says pickle as a topping on a burger I will assume it’s a gherkin so seeing sliced fresh cucumber under my bun was poor effort and they have no jalapeños but advertised it as a free topping. Overall package is disappointing good effort with the beef patty and bun but for £8 for a single burger with poor offering of toppings and bland warm chips that are sat around to get cold while one person is serving and flipping burgers and a weird selection of non identifiable drinks £11 is not good value. Won’t be going back

My 10 year old discovered this gem on YouTube. The not McDonald’s, we were very excited about this place and was delighted that it lived up to our expectations. Great burgers and excellent fries, we are really happy we came. Lovely staff and great hospitality just as good as the food. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Where do I start? This was a repeat visit after a previous fantastic experience. Sadly I can’t say that same this time. The chilli sauce on my burger was on nuclear levels of heat which ruined the meal for me. I asked for chicken strips on the side which were SO dry I think I got dehydrated from trying to eat them. I’ve never eaten anything so dry in my life!! My friends also tried them and they couldn’t believe how dry they were either!! Unfortunately the overly chilli burger and extremely dry chicken strips ruined my experience. Don’t think I’ll be rushing back anytime soon.

I really enjoyed it here when they first opened however during my recent visit food standards have dropped especially the fish burger. The fish was almost burnt and had some sort of massala to it which wasn’t nice. It’s a shame to see such a popular place lose its quality.
