The best restaurants serving British food in London

Had a lovely Sunday dinner here with the family. The food and service was very good and prices reasonable. The place was comfortable.

Fuimos aquí hace unos años, así que regresamos un sábado por la mañana en octubre mientras nos alojamos en el Premier Inn enfrente. Pedí el desayuno de hasta 20 artículos! (tenía 12 creo! ). El tocino estaba muy sabroso y por supuesto que me ganó. El resto de la familia tenía una mezcla de diferentes platos y todos disfrutamos mucho de la comida. La bienvenida amable / bromas de la señora italiana que estaba ayudando hizo la comida! Volverá cuando se aloje enfrente de nuevo.

You never get a second chance to make a first impression I am afraid. Hardly anything available on the limited menu, staff could not really care less and to top it all, several leaks coming in through the roof, due to the rain! Enough said!

My daughter and I come here every other weekend and we never get bored. It’s always great service and the prices are very reasonable

The cocktails served in Gin palace, which located in Strand Palace hotel are an absolute gem for the hotel. Presentation, creativity and service are worth to spend the previous time for self pampering. Each and every team member have own story and background to tell you about the hotel and each's cocktail history. +10 for the quality of service and knowledge, which is so important in hospitality industry. I felt special and only guest while spending the time at Gin Palace. Recommended for the ones who is willing to have brilliant time while treating themselves. Impressed!!!

We have just had the most beautifully moist, white battered haddock and chips. We ordered a mixture of regular and large - and the large were absolutely huge, all with perfect, crisp batter. A large portion of chips fed more than four with good appetites. We always have our fish and chips from Fish and Chips at - and never disappointed. Delivery was on time ( was able to book mid afternoon) and the food was piping hot. Recommended

Lovely, cosy place .... friendly staff, great menu

We've been travelling around the U.K and have spent the last 2 weeks in London and came across this lovely pub the last week. We had such a nice time there we ended up going back 3 times, and ended up enjoying their to-die-for roast this Sunday. Compared to other pubs in the area it has a real cosy vibe and a 'family run' feel to it. The staff were lovely and we had some of their gorgeous mulled wine which really topped the experience. The smoking area out the back is spacious for the size of the place, and I'm recommending to everyone to check out this pub if they come to South London. Thanks Trinity, keep up the good work!

Went with family to eat lunch, and frankly wasn’t expecting too much as it seemed it was just a “local”. What a surprise, delightful staff who were friendly and chatty. The menu isn’t huge but enough choice. U had the sea bass, which was perfectly cooked crisp skin moist flesh and delicious vegetable and sauce. The venue itself has real character and hasn’t lost its historical charm. Well worth a visit, though be warned toilets are down some very steep stairs

The service here is consistent and amazing. I really do feel comfortable bringing clients here, having meetings and just enjoying a space that isn't noisy. The ping pong table is a great way to relax after work.

From telephoning my booking on Saturday to having our Sunday roast today all the team were very accommodating and our roast tasted excellent , couldn't manage a dessert but what I saw on the next table they looked tasty. I would recommend the orchard and team to everyone who comes to Edinburgh.

Me and my girlfriend went to the pub to enjoy an afternoon lunch, greeted warmly by the team and served some delicious food, we was recommended by caragh who is one of the chefs one of her favourite dishes to make and she did not disappoint i will be returning soon!

Standards have dropped, used to do a great Sunday lunch. We got 2 roast potatoes each as apparently they were running low, got extra on request. Also had to ask for extra veg as portions were tiny. Won't be returning.

Molto costoso e ovviamente ottimo livello. Servizio solo thè take away... forse non fanno più sala da thè... peccato!!

Really fun night doing the Trust 5 course tasting menu. What really made the experience for us was our waiter Parina who went above and beyond to make sure that we were having a good night. Very lovely person and hard working. Explained all the dishes in a fun and energetic way. I had been stressed about something else before I came in and she immediately put me at ease.
