Bill's Restaurant in Hackney

My daughter and I come here every other weekend and we never get bored. It’s always great service and the prices are very reasonable

I'd not been to Hoxton square before, it's a bit of a hidden gem. Bill's is on the corner and whilst it's similar to others it's also pleasantly different as well.

I was greeted at the door by a very pleasant member of staff who showed me to a table by the window. The restaurant looks cozy, the deco suits the area and I felt very welcome with a friendly atmosphere. As soon as I sat down I was presented with the menu and it was fully explained and they asked me if I had an allergy, which I do. The manager was called and to my surprise he was extremely knowledgable about the dangers of cross contamination and severe allergy. He was also young and delightful and very friendly, I think his name is Bruno. I am severely allergic to shellfish and to be assured that my meal would be taken care of was amazing.

Away for the weekend with my wife. The restaurants to this point have been a little disappointing- so it was great to luck upon Bill's - we were going to go to the Breakfast Club but were deterred by morning queues. Glad we carried on around the corner. Lovely place, very friendly staff - highly recommended.

Me and my 2 best homos went here on Saturday for a meal the food was amazing as well as the customer service. Our waitress Millie was lovely she catered for all our needs with a massive smile on her face. I cant recommend this place enough cant wait to go back xxx

Vicinissimo all'hotel, abbiamo voluto provare questo ristorante propostoci dalla reception dell'Hotel. Cucina discreta, servizio mediocre, prezzi nella norma. Tutto sommato, non ci torneremmo.

We first went to Bill's out of convenience. We had just arrived in London Sunday morning and saw it was just a few meters from our hotel.what a wonderful surprise! Split Veggie breakfast and pancakes, light and delicious and Marianna our waitress, was so charming and pleasant, seated and greeted us and totally. She was a real sweetheart and very much reminded me of an Italian version of my daughter.

We came here for dinner on Saturday evening whilst staying in the area. The starters/mains and drinks were perfect as expected from Bill's. However, what made this restaurant was the friendly staff. They were all very helpful.

As expected the food was tasty and well presented and the cocktails were spot on. We both had three courses and every dish was enjoyable. The staff were really friendly and set the place apart from other restaurants in the area.

Come last Saturday for dinner with my girlfriend. Amazing food, great friendly service, nice atmosphere and we always feel welcome here. Will be back soon!

Yo, mis padres y mi novio vino a este facturas después de mi graduación en el Barbican. Como somos de Irlanda del Norte, elegimos las facturas porque habíamos tenido una experiencia fantástica en las facturas del Covent Garden. Por desgracia no tuvimos la misma experiencia aquí. Estábamos tratando de celebrar una muy especial, y una vez en una ocasión la vida, pero al final de la comida nos frustrados y muy decepcionado.

Out and about intros area so decided to pop in here for late lunch. Service was good and staff very attentive. Enjoyed watching the guy behind bar mix the drinks. There was an issue with the lighting so they’d be on one minute, then a while later they’d go off, then back on. Found it quite amusing trying to time when they’d go off again. Thankfully it was daylight and bright enough without them. Starter was amazing. Honey Cumberland sausages. They were bigger than I thought but beautifully cooked and packed with flavour. Delicious! Even my husband preferred my starter to his chicken skewers. The ribs main was also larger than I thought. They were nice, but a little bit too much of a hot kick for me. My husband's fork kept coming in my direction as I think again he preferred them to his fish. The long stem broccoli I ordered came with pine nuts which was nice. Sticky toffee pudding was again huge and tasted great. First time in my life I couldn’t finish a sticky toffee pudding dessert. Nicely presented with gold dust. Berry mojitos were nice and the watermelon juice I finished with was very refreshing. Think I made excellent menu choices this time. Usually I only eat at Bills for their Christmas menu but may start eating here more.

We had breakfast there and were lucky to enjoy a perfect summer morning outside on the tiny terrace with a view of lovely Hoxton square. The service was nice and fast, the food great. Would definitly come back!

En Londres viajando sola por negocios me paré en facturas en Baker Street de Londres para un bocado rápido. Me alegró ver fantásticos cócteles en el menú y las opciones de bajo en carbohidratos. Pedí la hamburguesa desnudo que es bunless y muy sabroso. Viene con una gran ensalada de aguacate crujiente y excelente aderezo.

Nunca fuimos Shoreditch antes o Bill Hoxton Square, así que simplemente paseaban en para la cena. Me encantó el lugar, la comida y el personal amable y atento. Tan impresionado que volvimos al día siguiente para el té. Pensamos que los precios muy razonables, aunque no entusiasta en el 12. 1 / 2% de cargo por servicio. Nos gustaría visitar de nuevo - sin duda.

We were in the area and hungry so found bills and relaxed on a Sunday evening..staff are really kind and considerate..one meal was wrong when it arrived and they dealt with changing promptly and did not charge for that dish which was nice of them without us asking. Ribs were delicious and so was the sea bass..huge fan of Bills

Zona agradable, bonito comedor. La comida en sí es mala. Tuve allí, platos llegaron brunch casi frío. Realmente no es una buena salchicha, no sé qué, creo que es mejor no saber. La tostada es aleatorio, probablemente compradas en tesco. "fresca" no es zumo de naranja fresco. No volveré aunque es barato.

Perfect restaurant for breakfast. Very good team and service specially Sofia :) Charming place. Good music playlist. Excellent and fine food. I recommend it for sure.

A large range of vegetarian options for myself, and even my vegan friend found something to eat. Great value for money as well! Would recommend!

He comido en un par de otras ramas, así que reservamos Bill's Square hoxton con confianza. El lugar en sí está bien, agradable decoración, buena música que no era inoportuno. Parecía que no había suficiente personal y el 2 camareros y (SUPONGO) frente de chico casa pasamos más tiempo charlando alrededor de la puerta que prestando atención a sus clientes. Ambos platos principales fueron una decepción - el haloumi burger estaba anunciado como viniendo con mermelada chili pero necesitas un microscopio para encontrarlo. El camarero no trae algunas más cuando pregunté pero sin una disculpa. Pedí el filete con fregola coliflor - que cuando le pedí al camarero de lo que era, él no sabía que tenía en Google. . . . . Lo menos que puede esperar. Es para el personal para saber el menú. He tenido carne coliflor antes y esperaba que llegue como una porción grande, pero lo que conseguí fue un montón de florettes asado con salsa sabrosa y seco y sin sabor fregola (una pequeña pasta si se lo está preguntando! 3) con unos tomates cherry asados. Estábamos en un plazo porque de lo contrario me hubiera mandado de vuelta - servicio era ridículamente lento dado que el restaurante estaba vacío. Le dije al camarero que era un pobre plato - nuevo ninguna disculpa. No será rerturning.

La anterior Navidad que había tenido una comida agradable escuchar con un amigo, así que decidimos ir de nuevo con mis dos amigos. Menús tenía que ser pedido que estaba bien. El servicio era un poco lento ya que tenían otros grupos. Mi Turquía era un poco duro y la salsa jarra vino medio lleno. Pedimos más y tuvimos que esperar un rato, pero finalmente llegó. Mi paté de arranque estaba bien, como fue mi postre crema brûlée. No tan bueno como la comida el año pasado pero está bien. Buen ambiente navideño con música, Navidad galletas saladas, etc.

He estado en unos cuantos Bill's en todo el país, la mejor siendo en la Bahía de Cardiff, pero este fue un viaje agradable. Teníamos sobresale llegó en Shoreditch y nos dirigimos a este lugar, es uno de los pocos lugares que encontramos con asientos afuera, pero creo que sólo 5 mesas, así que si su tiempo soleado tendrás suerte de conseguir uno.

We were a group of 11 for a birthday lunch. The staff at Bills were absolutely excellent in making sure everything was organised, and they looked after us beautifully. The food was very enjoyable and overall we were very impressed.

Fui a Bill honestamente no esperaba mucho, porque sabía que era una cadena. Vaya, me sorprendió gratamente.

El personal es acogedor y amable. Teníamos para empezar, pan y Sandwich y para platos principales humous palitos de pescado, queso, pescado, tarta Gnocchi bolegnese. Maravilloso. El Gnocchi estaba un poco debido a que el camarero enviándolo de regreso ya que no estaba lo suficientemente grande porción. Excelente servicio. Bien merece una visita.

Hola - reservamos 2 horas antes de la cena llegamos necesitando un calentamiento en una noche de nieve. Nos alojamos en el Holiday Inn a la vuelta de la esquina. El personal era muy acogedor y amable, nos sentamos en cómodas sillas para bebidas, antiguo y habla al final nos dieron mantas acogedoras y botellas de agua caliente para acurrucarse.

Situated in the heart of Hoxtons square it’s a nice restaurant to dine in. Nice atmosphere cosy and relaxing environment. Try the macaroni cheese and great halloumi salad. Good stuff just took a while to bring us the appetisers and bill. Will be back :)

Group booking for a friends birthday, we were one of two large groups of over 15 in the restaurant - all food arrived in short space, so people weren't waiting for others.

We came here for a late lunch on Saturday with a bunch of friends (8 of us) - good food and drinks, good atmosphere and very friendly service! Would recommend.

Vine aquí para el cumpleaños de mi hermana para el desayuno con la familia - fin del proyecto de desayuno era increíble, realmente lo recomiendo. Ambiente agradable y un personal amable. Un poco lento, pero no fue un problema, ya estábamos disfrutando el tiempo charlando. Pedimos 6 desayunos, 2 tazas de té y un café con leche y costo por sólo £12. 00 cada uno (6 personas) muy buen precio :).

We held our office Christmas party here and it couldn't have been a more perfect venue for it. Great atmosphere, brilliant, friendly staff (especially Millie, Bruno & Sarah!) and really nice Christmas menu. Would definitely recommend!

Pre booked xmas meal for a work do. Appalling service from start to finish. None of the meals arrived together we waited over an hour for our starters, some meals came with 2 roast potatoes others with 6. We had pre ordered and they got most things wrong! was not overly cheap and they add a 12.5% service charge, not even an apology, I will not be going back neither will 19 of my colleagues!

Nipped in for a 'quick lunch' with my work colleague's but had to wait an hour for our food. Food...

I really love this place, it is vibrant, cosy, modern but authentic it is just amazing! The location is great, the venue is amazing and the staff is great and most of all the food is amazing! I would definetly recommend the greek platter!

Unsere 2. Wahl für ein englisches Frühstück. Das Restaurant ist sehr stimmig eingerichtet. Am Wochenende ist es allerdings sehr voll und wir mussten 15min auf einen Tisch warten. Es ist etwas chaotisch aber die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Wir waren mit unserem typischen englischen Frühstück zufrieden. Die vegetarische Variante ist etwas schwächer zu bewerten.

I have heard a lot about Bill’s so when I arrived in Hoxton Sq and saw it on the corner I made a b-line for it disregarding all around me. Mistake. Pleasant staff when we entered but the waiting staff did not appear so I left and went around the corner to Rufus St.

Un super brunch dans un cadre très british .très bon rapport qualité prix et les serveurs sont très attentionnés. Un peu brillant mais comme tous les restaurant en Angleterre les anglais parlent très fort!S

Went with a friend who has food tolerance to all sorts of food & and how it's cooked, So as I had passed there before & looked at the menu & saw that they can accommodate "fussy eaters". Went during the week after work & it was pretty quite. Have never been in that kind of restaurant before it had a nice setting, friendly staff, no complaints about the food & drinks, all very nice. Been in a new restaurant I felt like trying things I had never eaten before. So my starter, main & dessert were all things I had never had tried before. Glad I did as the food was delicious, my friend loved the food as well. We were there for over 3 hours chatting & eating & the staff didn't bother us once (maybe because they weren't busy). The only downer I was say was the bill for two people, it seemed a bit pricey, Maybe because it was in Hoxton which Is a quite popular & trendy area right now.Would I go back yes, but only with my friend as she's a fussy eater.

On arrival the waitress who served us seemed very accommodating however, we were constantly bombarded by a few waiters who kept asking us if we were ready to order when we were not. After we had ordered the waitress brought the wrong wine. The food was very pleasant although the service was slow, having to ask repeatedly for condiments. On leaving we were chased after by one of the waitress's (long dark hair worn in a ponytail) who accused us of not paying which was very insulting. Even though the food was good the service was substandard.

Stumbled on Bill's quite by chance. As I don't live in the UK I'd never heard of the chain. Good simple choices in the standard midday menu. £13,95 (+their 12,5% cover fee). As a veggie I was impressed with their dishes. Intriguing combinations!Totally awesome staff. International and very friendly!Extremely relaxed, laid-back atmosphere. We did have to be patient. The restaurant was not half full yet the kitchen took considerable time to prepare each dish. For me this is only an observation. I was in no hurry. I do recommend this location of Bill's.

I brunch in shoreditch twice a week and tried most of the cool places and Bill's is by far the best!Good food and friendly service in a shabby chic interior.

Came in for a weekend brunch as we had a voucher, and nice as the atmosphere, restaurant building/location/decor were, as well as the staff all being really friendly, but ultimately I was quite glad we weren't paying. My partner had scrambled eggs on toast, the bread of which wasn't toasted. I got a full breakfast, which the kitchen had evidently simply forgotten to put on the bacon (generally considered one of the key components of a breakfast in Britain!). When we pointed this out I was brought a side order of bacon though so eventually didn't miss out. The toast on my plate consisted of one slice very well toasted but dry with no butter, and the other untoasted and soggy like my partner's. Some of the other 'hot' elements weren't hot either. The flavours and quality of ingredients were great though, which made it all the more frustrating that they hadn't been prepared with a bit more care. Also noticed a few bits of old dried food congealed on our supposedly clean table. It's a shame because as nice a place as it was to spend some time, it's these small details you remember.

Our GPS took us all over the place going through a dubious part of town, but once we got there we could see an easier, straight forward way home. Cute, rustic restaurant, loved the strings of dried chillies hanging everywhere. Staff friendly. Menu great, meals a good size. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

We booked for 6 of us to have dinner here and was left a little underwhelmed. The food was really nice but found the staff to be a little tired and arrogant. They were not clued up on allergens and ingredients on the menu dishes. The sea bass main course was really nice. They initially gave us dirty plates to start with and then took 15 minutes to replenish these. Be warned that the restaurant is not accessible and for disabled guests. The toilets are in the basement and done alit of stairs!I don't think I would use this restaurant again but would try other locations

A group of four of us ate here for a birthday celebration, at first the decor and atmosphere was lovely and consistent with what we had experienced before at Bill's. The service however left a lot to be desired. Two of us ordered the stake and had to request new knives because they were dull and not even serrated anymore.. this would have been completely forgivable if it weren't for the mediocre steak (that didn't live up to the £19 price tag) and the poor table service that would infuriate absolutely anyone.Now you're probably thinking I'm being unreasonable here, but all four of us have worked in catering including restaurants, cafes, hotels and pubs. We understand what is expected, and what can and should be forgiven (because we have all been there) - it isn't easy to remember everything and give everyone attention.. and yet unfortunately Bills has still compelled me to write a review like this. We asked for water on 2 occasions and didn't get any at all, they asked about sauces and brought us nothing, and also the wait time for the desert was beyond unreasonable. When it was time to pay the bill, our waiter asked me to work out how much each of us should pay towards the meal (as we were splitting it) and while I was working it out he stood over me sighing and tapping his feet loudly. We were then snapped at and forced to pay a so-called 'optional' service charge which we queried because we were that unimpressed with our experience. Like I said before, we know how important tips are, but it just wasn't deserved in this case). This is not something I've ever experienced before. These events lead to a fairly deflated birthday treat for my friend and we all feel a little let down. Even though the Thai green curry was well received and the halloumi burger would make any vegetarian proud, I have to say that this particular Bills restaurant will not be a place I will return to willingly.

Fizemos uma reserva pela manhã para 10 pessoas em comemoração a minha graduação/formatura. Eles nos pediram uma hora para preparar a cozinha (?), no caminho mais 4 amigos se juntaram ao nosso grupo.Quando chegamos ao restaurante, fomos destratados pelo gerente que não aceitou nos receber com mais 4 pessoas, insistindo que a reserva era para 10 pessoas e que ele não poderia acomodar mais 4 (NEM EM OUTRA MESA), sendo que o restaurante estava VAZIO e qualquer outro cliente poderia entrar naquele momento e pedir uma mesa.No final, resolvemos ir embora e o gerente ainda se referiu a nós de forma irônica por sermos estudantes.Nunca mais volto.

We spent an early lunch, looking for a tasteful set of fast foods.It was a pleasant day and we spent the lunch outside, looking for Hoxton square garden, eating some hamburger really well done.

2 great breakfasts and a pot of tea for 2 ; just the right place to go to for breakfast and the setting feels more of an independent than of a chain. Lots of music playing- somewhat eclectic.Staff were all fine & helpful and in particular we were served by "Millie" who was very efficient and genuinely helpful & friendly- if Bills keep employing staff like that, they wont go wrong.

Bel posticino dove mangiare a Londra, panini gourmet ben curati e gustosi, menù ricco di panini e altro. Lo consiglio a tutti quelli che non vogliono spendere troppo e mangiare bene e il giusto. Ci tornerò

I had a fabulous shepherds pie that I am still thinking about. My husband had the fish pie which he also raved about. Lovely service and good wine with friends made for a perfect evening.

We ate at this restaurant for dinner with some friends. The location is convenient for the Shoreditch area, the staff is nice and attentive. We had three burgers for a total of £40 (service charge included). Good quality food, average portion, a bit on the expensive side.

Service was great and the smiles on diners told a great story.Not much bad to say really,my Wife's mussels lacked a little flavour in the sauce and our calamari could have used a little pick up but other than that everything was cooked just the right side of perfect.

Posto bellissimo e accogliente, staff top, super cordiali. Abbiamo mangiato una colazione all inglese veramente ottima e succulenta! Pancake buonissime e marmellate super! Porzioni giuste per quello si paga. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci torneremo sicuramente, assolutamente consigliato!

We met friends here for lunch, along with our young son. Annoyingly, although the restaurant has highchairs - the entrance is up a steep set of stairs, so it's not at all accessible. We were able to carry the pram up, though. Also, the changing facilities are down almost three flights of stairs - which aren't easy to navigate when carrying a toddler. Worth bearing this in mind if you have any mobility issues.We ordered mains and drinks during this visit and a set meal for my son. His main course came out before his starter, and I had to prompt the staff to bring us that part. Our food came out quite quickly, but nobody was overly excited about it...I had the tomato soup starter (as a main) which was a little too spicy and lacked much depth. The pesto toast that accompanied it was tasty. One of my friends had a mixed veggie mezze - but she didn't finish it as it wasn't great - she ended up finishing my sons cod goujons, instead!Service was ok - a little jumbled maybe. There seemed to be a few people looking after our table which confused matters a bit.Again - this visit seemed to confirm to me that Bill's is not the quality it used to be, and I probably won't bother going again. (This was my second Bill's visit in one weekend)

Visited on a Friday evening and hadn't booked but we given a table after only a few minutes wait.Order our drinks, a bottle of wine but when they came up the waiter only brought two glasses of wine, we pointed this out and with no issue at all he brought up a full bottle and gave us the 2 glasses free.The food was quick to arrive and was good quality, we both had the haloumi burger. Prices were average for this type of restaurant and considering its central London not over the top

Amazing burgers and in a great location. Get yourself a naked or normal burger. They taste amazing! The staff is friendly and fast! You will get your food in 10 minutes or less, depending on what you're having. The atmosphere is really cosy and friendly. Definitely a good place for lunch or dinner.

Been to bills on a few occasions in other locations but this is truly the worst one I have visited. Service started of well with drinks and a food order and then it all went down hill. We had too ribeye steaks. One of which was not cooked as how we wanted it but we didn't say anything as we are not usually those to complain. The steaks were very grissly and there was virtually no meat on the steak to eat. Once we finished we sat there a good 20 minutes looking around for someone to clear our plates. The manager had walked past us a good 5 times and made eye contact with us and had seen that we finished yet still kept walking around up and down the restaurant. When I finally got the waitresses attention who was standing behind the bar with two other waiters chatting away. We were asked "was it okay?" I then let here know the steaks were very grissly but apart from that it was ok. To which she said ok and walked off. Another 15 mins later the manager comes over and said what was wrong with the steaks to which we explained to them him being very unapologetic and rude and by saying we cut the fat around the edge of the steak! We had rib eyes not sirloin a to start with so the fat wasn't on the edge of the steak! The manager was just so rude and really didn't car about the complaint! He then took off two drinks and a side and said there you go because you arnt happy! Will not return here ever. Disgraceful Service.

Went with a big international group. The team at Bills were really helpful in getting orders organised and ensuring the evening ran smoothly. Simple food, done well. Thanks Bills for a great night.

We were actually going to go to the breakfast club but the queue was outrageous and thought let's try some where else, and there you guys are literally just round the corner, I've never had food from you or from any of your other chains, but you guys were Absolute life savers lol we were starving, the waiter kindly took us to our table, our drinks and food came ever so quick! I ordered the eggs Royale and pancake and my partner ordered the English breakfast, it all tasted exquisite, it was perfect even the cappuccino tasted so so good! All the staff was so lovely, literally fully recommend this place to anyone it's even better than the breakfast club 100%.

Loved this place ! The decoration was very cool and original. We ate breakfast there on Saturday.We ordered eggs royale, banana, strawberries and blueberry pancakes and a breakfast basket (with viennoiseries, jams and almond chocolate butter).We loved everything !The staff was perfect. I really recommend this place if you are in London !

I ate here as part of a group of 9 hen party on a Saturday night, the restaurant was not particularly busy. The service was awful and the food not much better.We had three severe Coeliacs in our group, and asked for the low gluten menus. Ten minutes later we just got up and got them for ourselves from the nearby shelf. The food was ok at best, I feel that Bills has got too popular for its own good and the food and quality has suffered as a result. Our bill came up slightly short, but we said that actually we thought the optional service charge at 12.5% was a lot considering the service had been poor and food/drinks had taken a long time to arrive, to which the waiter got cross with us. In Hoxton there are plenty of other restaurants that do similar food at a similar price. I've eaten in this restaurant before with smaller groups of friends, and had similar experiences with service and food.

Good points- breakfast served til 1pm- great look, funky and cool - good variety for meat and non meat eaters and different twists on dishes (hummus, sweet chilli sauce with avocado and poached eggs on toast)- good portion sizesBits to improve on- poached eggs were overcooked - cutlery cleaning (dirty knife in the cutlery pot on our table)- service, we had several different servers who didn't seem to communicate to each other. E.g. We ordered them 5 mins later got asked if ready to order.- two out of 6 meals were missing items, quickly sorted once told server

Our drink glasses arrived covered in lipstick. Having asked the staff to bring us clean glasses, they returned with the same dirty lipstick covered ones! Giving a second star to my review only because the food was OK. Will not be going back.

I popped in and tried their set menu. I had two courses for 10.95 and was very happy with the value. I had the sea bass off it which was pleasant (I'd prefer the cherry toms grilled though as it's so cold outside) and a pecan pie for desert. Also had a cashew banana honey milkshake that took me back to a smoothie I used to have when on holiday in Thailand which was unexpected!It was decorated warm, welcoming and cosy and I definitely felt comfortable by myself. The waitresses working were lovely and I like how they had a seasonal cocktail menu including virgin cocktails! Maybe I'll try one if I have the chance to go back.

Service was not extremely quick but that didn't matter because we we're chatting and enjoying a nice bottle of wine. Food is great and the decor has a lovely cozy feeling to it.

Ate here as staying in the area on business. The food is good and reasonably priced but the menu is more limited than some other nearby restaurants. Service was a little slow and not worthy of the 12.5% service charge but nice enough restaurant if you're in the area

Excellent service, laid back atmosphere, good quality food. A good place to 'catch up with friends' whilst having good quality food.

It was for a work Christmas lunch and it is safe to say it hit way below the mark in terms of both service and quality of food. Some of my colleagues had a Christmas nut roast which was served cold, I had the cod which was underwhelming in terms of portion size. Two highlights were the orange and ginger punch and also the sticky toffee pudding which was a little on the cold side but VERY tasty none the less.The menu for what you actually get was extremely over priced too. The dishes came out at different times too, so many people were waiting whilst others were eating. We were seated in the basement which looked half completed in terms of the decor it did not look 'east London quirky' at all either. There are many other nice places to eat in the area for a much fairer price.

Good value for money for a brunch in central London !Service and quality is really good. I love their smoothies.My favorite is the pancakes is really yummy.

£25 for a burger and some fancy juice. Service was very good and helpful. Nice waitress let me take a candle outside so I could light my cigarette.

Shoreditch is a quirky neighborhood, and Bill's fits right in. It's artsy in its decor with different lighting fixtures, patterns, old/antique furniture, and large bunches of chili peppers in the windows. I was there for breakfast and enjoyed the eggs Benedict although it could have used a bit more hollandaise. The English muffin that was the base was delicious. My daughter had blueberry pancakes which were fluffy and very tasty, and a healthy portion.Service is a bit helter skelter. Several different people waited on us, however they all were very pleasant. It was a nice, relaxed breakfast . If I am ever in that area again, I will return to Bill's.

Das Restaurant ist nett gelegen und auch die Einrichtung ist stimmig, dann hört es leider schon auf.Wir hatten als Vorspeise ein Rosamrin Brot was gut war.Als Hauptspeise eine Shepards Pie und einen Salat.Als Beilage noch Käse Nudeln eigentlich hat es nicht schlecht geschmeckt weil es nach nichts geschmeckt hat. Die Käsenudel waren absolut Geschmacklos der Salat war nicht zu definieren was für ein Salat es war und der Shepard Pie war der Höhepunkt (leider im negativen Sinn) wenn der Aufwärmer in der Küche es nicht einmal Schaft den Thymian der als Verzierung dient vor dem Warm machen rauszunehmen sondern einfach mit backt so das dieser total verkohlt ist dann sagt das schon alles!Was man dann wirklich anerkennen muss ist das der Manager sich sofort entschuldigt hat und die beanstandeten essen von der Rechnung genommen hat. Lieber wäre mir aber ich hätte was anständiges bekommen - also hier besser nur was trinken.

Been to this Bills a good few times and each time found the staff very friendly and made us feel welcome and that our customer was appreciated.They make a mean espresso martini.

Sarà stato il locale molto accogliente e tipico! Il cibo delizioso, le scene intorno molto surreali e le ragazze che cantavano happy birthday to you...beh! È stato uno dei compleanni più suggestivi della mia vita!!Cibo buonissimo, un buon vino e locale tipico e accogliente!!!! Bellissimo!!!! Consigliatissimo

Love Hoxton Square and this restaurant was equally lovely, great ambience, friendly service and good food! I had Thai green chicken curry which was presented well and tasted fab - just the right level of heat :)

Early dinner under time pressure! Everything worked well, the service was good, maybe a bit on the slow side but still in time for us to finish and get going. I had a vegetarian roasted aubergine with lentils and chickpeas dhal. I normally don't trust much the food without meat, but this was very good! The chilli flavor and the cherry tomatoes, nicely seasoned with coriander and almonds convinced me and I was not wrong at all. The Bill's IPA helped me "wash" the hot spicy taste and I was good to go! Thank you !

Hemos regresado otra vez al Bill's de Hoxton y nos ha vuelto a encantar. Su decoración es estupenda, la atención y los platos también. Hay opciones para vegetarianos y también para gluten free. Se puede charlar, son amables, la comida está rica y el precio para ser Londres es apropiado.

went in with group of friends, staff were absolutely amazing, very chatty and made us feel welcomed, had round of cocktails and boy were they great. veggie plate my absolute favourite, definitely recommend for a night out when in hoxton

Bland food and really poor coffee. Staff were friendly enough but there are really good breakfast places in the area so go somewhere else.

I have visited Bills in Richmond and been very happy with the food but sadly, the Shoreditch branch didn't deliver the same quality. Staff we friendly enough but the food was really lacking.

we have found Bill's nearly by chance: we were late for dinner and looked for a place nearby our hotel, close to old street. well, it's been a nice surprise: good quality, excellent service by the 2 ladies, good value for money.

The service was good however after a 25 minute wait, a novice attempt at eggs royale. Two slithers of salmon and drowning in hollandaise sauce. I've had better for cheaper.

Sono stato in questo locale durante una breve vacanza. Delle varie colazioni all'inglese che ho provato a Londra, questa è stata decisamente una delle migliori come qualità! Purtroppo avevano finito le salsicce, ma hanno compensato egregiamente con molto extra bacon (dopo avermi chiesto cosa desideravo di extra). Se avete occasione, andateci!

I ordered the naked burger so no bun or fries but it did come with a "large mixed salad" - that should do nicely. I asked for a topping of cheese too.What arrived was a colossal disappointment. The "large mixed salad" was a few watercress leaves in the bottom of a small bowl. To call it a garnish might have been nearer the truth but it was neither large nor mixed according to my understanding of those terms.The cheese, well what a laugh that was. I have to commend the chef on his knife skills as to be able to cut cheese so thin that it makes tissue paper look a bit bulky is a true art.These two Scrooge-like penny-pinching factors are a disgrace; a diner could be severely misled.Finally the burger itself - woefully under-seasoned and dry and too compacted.Awful all round for me.
