We had a fabulous Sunday roast lunch with all the family. It was my husband's birthday and he really enjoyed the Angus beef. Thank you to all the great staff!

This is a great pub with fantastic staff who could not have been friendlier. The food was absolutely delicious, good food, well cooked and reasonably priced. Would recommend unreservedly.

A deceptively ‘pleasant’ pub, in that front of house is lovely. Great team, decent drinks/beer. Front beer garden, food etc. Toilets ? Absolutely disgusting. Stink. Really poor hygiene. No bin. Everything is shockingly poor. I am talking men’s. But generally, if the men’s is bad, the women’s will be. I always judge a hospitality environment by how it keeps its toilets. This one fails miserably. Won’t be coming again.

Roast beef was overcooked and food wasn’t that hot. The table we booked wasn’t great either (quite high up, against the wall in the corner by the door). Guinness was nice, though and it is a lovely pub with good atmosphere.

This is my local, best venue in Brixton! Staff is amazing! Blaine, Dora, Lucy and Laurie looked after me and my date. 100% recommend this place for food and outdoor dining. see you guys tomorrow! you legends!!!!!!!!!

Booked a table in advance to be shoved upstairs on a tiny table by the wall (had obviously forgot our booking) no menu given to us or anything we were just sat there like lemons. Our table number was rubbed out so we thought it said 20 not 28 so when we ordered online we put 20 the food came and the waitress took it to the next table - even though they said it's not theirs and we said it was ours she wouldn't give us the food - asking us what time we ordered and that we're not table 20. Very rude and condescending and just said "don't worry you'll get your food" in a very rude manner - when I asked for salt and pepper she huffed walked away and came back with the salt and pepper and just put it on the table and walked off. No check back and no apologies, somehow it was our fault that the table number was rubbed out? Waitress had reddy/brown hair It's a shame as I've been here many times before but this experience has put me off

I hosted a pub quiz in the upstairs private room and it was perfect for it! The staff were super helpful, it was easy to communicate with the team and organise and everyone had a fab night. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a space for an event, will be back! Thank you :)

No table service, the kitchen forgot my food and the waitress was extremely rude when I asked where my food was. This was whilst my the other 4 friends at the table were already eating. No apologies just “we are very busy and the kitchen forgot your order” this was also a pre booked table. The food was okay nothing to write home about 3 roast potatoes very tight for a £16 roast £7 cauliflower cheese that was tasteless. My olives I ordered to snack on whilst waiting for my roast came with the roast. Over all quite a tragic experience. Wouldn’t recommend food average and the service appalling.

We went here for lunch on Boxing Day. I’ve never been here before, a lot of the other places to eat in Brixton were closed so we thought we try this place. We thought the pub was going to be busy but I was surprised it was quiet. When we came in, there was a girl standing behind the bar. I told her that we wanted to have lunch, we decided to sit at the table next to the bar. We sat there like a bunch of lemons waiting to be served, the bar maid/waitress didn’t even give us the menu knowing that we were there to eat instead she was looking at her phone. I had to ask her that we wanted to order, she then handed us the menu which she should have given to us in the first place. When the starters came, she didn’t give us any napkins or a small plate as my partner and I was sharing the starters. I had to ask her for both things. The starters we had was very nice, our main meal was ok. When she came over to clear our table after we had eaten, she did not care to ask us if everything was ok, if our food was ok or needed anything else like ordering dessert? Even as we were leaving the pub, she walked straight passed us without saying thank you or goodbye and even gave us a funny look. I think the owner/manager needs to re-train their employee, the girl with brown hair and wears glasses as she has not got a clue about customer service or how to treat customers. She obviously could not care less about the customers, she just cares to look at her phone. Not sure if I would come back here. The food was good, shame the customer service wasn’t.

I met friends for Sunday lunch here today and really liked the pub. Lovely decor and plenty of space. I was greeted by very friendly staff. They couldn’t have been more helpful. We all had Sunday roast and two of us had the beef. Sadly the beef was very poor quality. Grisly, full of fat and we were picking bits out of our mouth all the way through. It was inedible and my friend barely touched hers. I persevered as I was starving, but was lucky to get 3/4 mouthfuls of edible meat. The rest of the meal was great. Our two friends who chose pork belly fared much better! They said it was lovely. I would have given 5 stars if it hadn’t been for such a terrible Sunday roast. And at £20 that just isn’t ok. Better take beef off the menu than serve that. It wouldn’t put me off returning, although I’d probably avoid the beef next time.

This place is amazing and the food is very nice. We were served by Alex and he was absolutely amazing and attentive - I absolutely recommend the service and will be back again soon.

Wow what an amazing pub. Located just off acre lane in Brixton, hidden in a beautiful square, this pub is an absolute gem. The choice of beverages is the same as most Youngs pubs (with the bonus addition of local Brixton brewery product's) and the food menu features all the Young's staples with a couple of extra bits. Great & knowledgeable staff (though some of the hair cuts were interesting!), but the pub dog owned by the manager was the real highlight. A beautiful and fantastically behaved Frenchie, he was the icing on the Trinity cake for us. He was very friendly and charmed everyone who came near him. Would come back again for the food, drinks, and staff, but would stay forever for the dog! (Sorry for low quality picture of dog!)

Trinity Arms is a brisk stroll from Brixton Station and located on a quiet square. I’ve visited a few times and twice for Sunday lunch. The place was heaving so the only option was to eat in the rear or front garden. Although freezing cold...

I went on a Saturday evening for drinks to celebrate my friends birthday and the place was absolutely packed. We managed to find a seat out the front but it didn't have a roof to shelter us from the rain, by the time it started raining we had already ordered and paid for our food so unfortunately we had to stand in the service area and eat as quickly as we could so we didn't disrupt the staff trying to work. Lesson learnt, make sure you have a good table before ordering food. All things aside, the food was actually quite tasty, I ordered the fish and chips and it was great.

I booked this area for birthday drinks from 3pm. We sat where the table was booked at 2:15pm as it was free. At 3:05pm a bartender came over and said 'you aren't the ones for the booking are you?' to which we replied yes. He then told us we have it until 7pm in a blunt way (didn't know only 4 hours but that was fine as we were planning to go somewhere to dance after and this isn't a dancey pub), and proceeded to place the reservation signs for the party at 7pm down on every table. We thought this would've been done in a more polite way and the signs places down at a later time really considering the reservation started 5 minutes before that. It's a decent spot with nice seating areas, but the staff do need a little lesson on service.

We hired the private room upstairs for our wedding meal and couldn't have asked for a better venue! The organisation from Timur from the start was excellent so a special thanks to him! On the day, the food was great, the room was set up perfectly and all the service was with a smile! Couldn't have asked for anything more :)

Came down from Birmingham to visit our daughter, who had heard good things about the food, so we booked well in advance, which was a good thing as the pub was heaving...Between the three of us, we had two roast beef dinners, one chicken dinner and a side of cauliflower cheese. Everything was cooked to perfection and nobody could ever complain about portion size as the meals were massive.The staff were extremely attentive, despite obviously being rushed off their feet...well done guys.The only downside was the cost of drinks. Our total bill was c£86, of which I know £53 was food, so the remaining £33 covered two pints, two cokes and one glass of wine...yes, I know I should have studied the itemised bill, but that’s an average of £6.60 a drink, which sounds excessive to a simple northerner. Maybe I’m just not used to London prices.Despite this, would I return? Absolutely!

Recientemente tuve mi fiesta de despedida en el Trinity Arms y tuve una noche maravillosa. El personal fue excepcional y se esforzó al máximo para garantizar que mi grupo de amigos y yo fuéramos atendidos y tuviéramos suficiente espacio. Realmente hicieron la noche.

Reservé un área para 25 personas del trabajo. Nos dieron la "cómoda" al lado del agradable jardín del patio trasero, por lo que tuvimos la opción de sentarnos adentro o afuera.

Me dijeron que devolverían el depósito, pero nunca lo hicieron. Intenté contactar pero me ignoraron. Si reserva, ¡no espere que le devuelvan su depósito!

I booked a table for 13 people. The food was excellent, and considering there was 13 of us, the food was served really quickly.

I organised a pre-gig get together for 20 odd Midnight Oil fans before a gig at the nearby Brixton Academy and have nothing but praise for the Trinity Arms. I was able to book an area for a refundable deposit, originally in the garden but on the day the weather was not so good and the pub swapped it to indoors at very short notice with no problem at all. Everyone had a good time, the food was very good and the beer excellent.

I've been here many times for drinks with friends and colleagues, including booking a space for an event. Nice staff, good drinks and lovely outdoor sections. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately one of the worst Sunday roasts I have had. I took my old man out for a Fathers Day lunch with the rest of my family so was hoping for a nice Sunday meal to accompany the occasion but was left terribly disappointed.

I went to the bar for service on Friday. I waited patiently for a long time whilst the bar staff had a chat in front of me to some customers, I glanced over at her (not in a rude way, acknowledged it’s a busy Friday night and she was probably just finishing up, she seemed to know the customers) and she suddenly looked really cross as she asked me what I want. She walked away several times during my drink order when I was trying to say what I wanted, angrily slammed drinks down, dropped my change (at least a pound! Times are hard!) down the side of the pump and didn’t give it to me (I didn’t bother asking for it I just laughed at this point I was incredulous). Stated “she’s shouting in my face” when I tried to tell her my drinks before she walked away for the third time because I still hadn’t managed to say my order in full to her(!) I then saw her talk to a colleague about me and her colleague served me instead (who was nice). I had no idea what I had done wrong, and it gave me a very unwelcome feeling. I’m not going to come here again. I had a think about whether I could have done anything to be annoying or rude but I’m at a loss.

Great pub near Brixton Academy popped in for a drink and food before concert. Set up tab now taken over 30 mins because it's busy. Asked the manger if he could take our payment to be told you have to pay at the bar. If I serve you I will have to serve everyone!!! He was totally clueless

Came in bank holiday Sunday. Appreciate it's a busy day but staff didn't really seem to know what they were doing, there was a lot of 'looking busy' doing nothing specific while a lot of people waited to be served at the bar. Definitely won't be back in a hurry - shame as a few years ago this was a real favourite.

What a gem. Lovely traditional Pub just off the main road in Brixton. We had the roast beef which was one of the best meals we have ever eaten in a pub anywhere. Not only that but the young staff were equally brilliant. Friendly, attentive and thoroughly professional. Great atmosphere and cannot recommend this place highly enough. We booked the room upstairs for a special birthday for 30 friends and family. I can not recommend the team highly enough! From the first email response to pre booking food and drinks the team gave a personal and efficient service. On the night they were amazing hosts. Great food (sharing platters) and drinks ready, our own playlists and use of the tv for a presentation when we got there. Thanks guys

Came here for a Sunday roast. Pretty good roast overall - We both had the pork which was great, really good meat and good Yorkshire, good veggies, potatoes were ok. Little bit disappointed with our starters - we ordered some bread which was sourdough but it just seemed to be just white toast, there didn’t seem to be much different to a white farmhouse loaf I could put in the toaster myself..it didn’t really feel like much effort had gone into it and I probably wouldn’t order it again. The steak bites were also not what we were expecting, we were expecting mini chunks of steak but this was a flat steak, cut up into strips. To me it seemed a little odd, perhaps the name was misleading. However all in all we had an enjoyable meal and will be returning. Thank you :)

Held a small event for c25 people at the back of the pub, and it was perfect. General manager v helpful in the planning stage (v good online system for pre-ordering food and drinks), and GM and staff on the day were friendly and proactive. Sharing platters that we had were excellent.

Gran bar y agradable personal servicial. Decepcionado por el pubquiz en mar sin embargo. Aunque el quizmaster es genial, las tablas con cuestionarios y no concursantes se mezclaron. Nuestra mesa estaba al final del bar y, aunque el quizmaster tenía un micrófono y nos sentábamos debajo de un altavoz, me costaba escuchar las preguntas porque otros invitados que nos rodeaban charlaban en voz alta porque no participaban en el cuestionario. . También la prueba comenzó 8. 30 pm mientras se anunciaba a las 8 pm en línea. Alrededor de las 10 pm estábamos a mitad de camino del cuestionario y nos fuimos. Demasiado difícil de entender las preguntas y probablemente habría tomado hasta 11. 30 pm para que termine, que es demasiado tarde para mí en una noche de martes. Definitivamente regresaré, pero no para la prueba.

I stumbled across this pub while walking from Clapham to Brixton, and what a GREAT find it was. The atmosphere was excellent and the pub had a good selection of beer. We decided to order food, I had the burger and my partner had the Squid ink risotto, both were lovely. The staff were very accommodating in provide a table when asked and remained attentive through out. DEFINITELY COMING BACK HERE.

Había reservado una mesa para 4 personas para 7. 15 hs. Nadie vino a decirnos dónde sentarnos, así que me acerqué al personal del bar, quien me dijo que entrara en el comedor de arriba. Subimos las escaleras y no había nadie allí. Ningún otro cliente, ningún miembro del personal y las mesas ni siquiera se habían establecido. Así que llegamos a la conclusión de que el barman había cometido un error y que la habitación de arriba no estaba abierta.

Especial de Young mal conservado y personal que no se molesta con los modales o el contacto visual. En lugar de aceptar el dinero en efectivo que tenía en la mano, un dispositivo de pago sin contacto se agitó en mi dirección general.

Popped in for some lunch and was impressed by the food. The fish and chips was excellent and the friends said the veggie roast was lovely. Service was good and the pub is really cosy. All in a very relaxing few hours.

What a hidden gem! I visited this pub with a friend on a Saturday night. Very nice location, just the right level of busy and intimate. Staff were attentive and nice. Great little pub.

I organised my partners’ 30th birthday at Trinity Arms and it was a brilliant location. They were really professional, sending confirmation emails and reserving a great outside area for the party. On the night the bar staff couldn’t have done more to make sure we had a great night. We ordered a few platters which were reasonably priced and went down really well with our friends. Would 100% recommend especially for an event!!

One of my favorite back street pubs in Brixton! Its one of those pubs where you could spend a whole day due to its cosy atmosphere, staff and amazing menu. Food is sensational with a varied mix to suit every palette and they have a huge selection of beers including Brixton beer which is great to see from a Young's pub. Staff were attentive and friendly and the manager made us feel at home by providing some board games and a stool for one of our friends when they arrived late. Beer garden is massive which is always a highlight. Will be coming back and probably will stay the day. Sunday roast here i come...

I absolutely love this cosy pub in the heart of Brixton. There's a great beer garden out the back and inside has a really buzzing, vibrant atmosphere... but it's also easy to get a seat! Service is always super quick and helpful and the food has definitely improved. The chicken burger is top notch. Great location - only a 5 minute walk to Brixton tube... and they always have good beer on tap!

I visited the pub last Friday for food and drinks with 8 friends, we had a great evening sat on a long table by the bar. The pub has a great beer selection and good to see they have recently stocked Brixton beer!

Just visited with my girlfriend for the second time in the last couple of weeks. The pub itself is massive and nicely decorated. The beer selection was also good.. and the outdoor garden area was bloody huge and really nice... other than the music the place has a really nice atmosphere.

Had a great day working at the Trinity Arms today. The chia berry pot, steak pie and walnut broccoli were all absolutely delicious! A lovely pub to work from and I will be back for drinks in their new covered outdoor cosy winter area.

I booked a space - a few tables and chairs - in the beer garden for a small event (c.30 people). Trinity Arms were helpful over the phone, email and in person making the process very easy. On the day, there was great service and the staff were friendly. When the beer garden closed they allowed us to move to a room upstairs as it was not being used. Everybody had a great evening! Some friends also got some bar food - chips and sausage rolls - and said it was very good.

Wouldn't have left a review but since they emailed me to I will. I've been here a few times it's a nice pub with a really nice small beer garden. The staff are friendly and helpful although are a bit overwhelmed sometimes in summer. Unfortunately on our visit the food took over an hour to arrive. One of our friends waited 1.5 hours only to be told he couldn't have his burger as it had been in a lift for an hour. They did give him a free pint but he also left hungry. Also, the menu is pretty basic with barely any vegetarian options. All in all a nice pub but sadly can't recommend eating there.

En el pub mientras escribo esto, tan molesto en el servicio. Agradable pub pero necesitan seriamente mirar a su servicio. No hay demasiada gente en el bar, pero viendo al menos 2 / 3 personas te sirven en frente de nosotros, me trasladaron a otra parte. Nuevo ignorado, ya que parecen servir a la persona más cercana a ellos en el momento que pidió disculpas a los miembros del bar, gris, gafas de sol en la cabeza y el chico que estaba atendiendo y dijo que había estado esperando mucho tiempo. A regañadientes me sirve con un aspecto sucio y yo podía ver mientras ella ponía las bebidas de la manera que ella estaba derramando obviamente yo molesto ella. Entonces ella prácticamente de golpe las bebidas y nos dio otro aspecto sucio. Quizás ella estaba teniendo un mal día, pero he trabajado en la industria de servicio por años y no puede ser así con los clientes.
