Good food, great service! Kudos to the very friendly staff. Would recommend!

Excellent food, excellent atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. Eliza served us and I was impressed with the speed we were served and her friendliness towards us and other nearby customers. All three of us really enjoyed our food, which comprised just the right quantity for a lunchtime meal.

Honestly the service was fairly slow and it wasn’t even busy, we just had cocktails and they cocktails really aren’t great there. The interior is nice though, and I’ve had the chicken kebab there before and it’s very good. Just wouldn’t advise getting a cocktail.

I recently dined here and I can confidently say it deserves a solid five stars! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service provided by our waiter, Daiem. He was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was memorable. Daiem was knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations that perfectly matched our tastes. His genuine enthusiasm for the dishes made us even more excited to try them. Throughout the meal, he checked in just the right amount, always ready with a smile and ensuring our glasses were never empty. His attention to detail and commitment to excellent service really elevated our dining experience. If you’re looking for a fantastic meal coupled with top-notch service, I highly recommend visiting and asking for Daiem. You won’t be disappointed!

Far too loud for a Monday morning. Not sure why it needs to sound like a nightclub. Unfortunately it’s impossible to work there or even chat. Staff great though (except unable to reduce volume).

The N'duja eggs were delightful along with halloumi fries! Half-baked cookie dough is one of the best desserts I ever had.

I came for brunch and was juggling a million things and was rather stressed but the atmosphere was immediately so calming and welcoming. A wonderful Portuguese waitress called , forgive my spelling, Beatrize immediately found me great spot. She even made yummy food suggestions as I was all flustered. I not only left having had a yummy meal and delicious coffee but bounded out with a happy smile and a skip in my step. It’s my go to place now 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Very cute place and liked the food. All the guys who served us were nice however the service was quite slow. They did tell us the food would take a while but we waited about 15 minutes even for drinks. Overall still a good experience and would sedunitely recommend the brunch!

Loved our bottomless brunch at Megan's! Food was as always stunning - so many options for veggies and they're so dog friendly, they really made my nervous pup feel at home. The service was lovely! Josulaw's kindness and charisma made me live a unique experience at Megan's in Clapham. I usually come here for brunch 3 times a week but this was definitely more special, the difference of a genuine smile and friendly service.

We had lunch here and the food, although tasty, was cold when it arrived. We did mention it to the waitress and she offered to have a new dish made but we decided it would take too long and we were hungry. They did also give us a discount on the bill, which was appreciated. The service is a bit slow, as we had to wait about 30 mins before we could get someone’s attention to order and also had to get up and ask for service a couple of times. The waiters were friendly though. The place itself is a bit loud with the music very loud for lunch time, which made it difficult to talk.

I personally feel this place overcharges people and won’t be going back again. My friend and I had two brunches at £15 each. My friend had a SINGLE G&T at £12.00 and I had a beer at £7.35. The bill came and it was £61. Firstly a single G&T for £12. I could understand if it had been a double but that worked out as £11.65 service . Total rip off.

Excellent my first time in Megan’s. I’m a vegetarian, my sister has multiple allergies. We were taken care of very professionally by the manager, they were meticulous re: the allergies, and our waiter Jerius served us, both were friendly, going above and beyond. I have tried the Megan’s in Islington and I just had to try the one in Clapham which isn’t too far from me. Loved everything about my brunch at Megan's in Clapham! The pancake was amazing; they were fluffy and light served with bacon and caramelised banana. The sautéed mushrooms were perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Finally, the service was excellent; our server Austin was kind, considerate, and made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable brunch. I am eager to return again!

Met for brunch to catch up with friends with my young daughter - lovely venue and staff were super friendly with our little girl. No colouring / crayons were offered which would have been a nice touch as such a family area. We had brunch, delicious food but all left still feeling abit hungry. Small portion sizes compared with prices. For example the the avo and toast with halloumi was one slice of bread, with 3 tiny bits of halloumi and a table spoon of avo for £13. Very delicious but sparing. It would have cost them next to nothing to add a slice of bread and we would have left feeling satisfied.

I do love Megan’s as a place and a concept. I even used to work here at the Terrace. I don’t normally write negative reviews. I’d rather have a chat to the manager - but, honestly, I have to say something after disappointment after disappointment after infuriating disappointment that the service here leaves an awful lot to be desired. Please don’t come here unless you have all the time in the world or are not particularly hungry. Heaven help you if you are starving! I had thought that, after replacing all the staff, things would change. But I just get the impression that no one wants to work anymore. Why should they? Customers are such an inconvenience. Right? Nobody came to take our order. This is one of several visits ( I live in the old town ) and each time I hope for the best. Once I ordered a wine and it sat in the bar for 20 minutes before someone brought it ‘because I wasn’t in their section’ 🤦‍♂️ I collected it myself! Tonight no one took our order. We had to go to the bar to order ‘while you wait’ items because I felt like we would be waiting a long time. We had to go and order our mains and starters long before someone checked in on us. It’s the same story most of the time. I had to go to the bar to order drinks afterwards- after trying to attract someone’s attention for a while - only to be told by the bar staff that ‘we have table service so sit back down’. I asked ‘do you? Because we haven’t had any all night?’ The place was not even remotely busy, and the faces you get from them if you dare to interrupt their flow or conversation 🤷‍♂️?! Like I said, it’s a great place and vibe and food, but more often than not, it is let down by the worst service you could imagine. Megan’s really tops the bill on poor service. If it was an Olympic sport - they’d have their own team! They even have the audacity to still add a service charge when they know it hasn’t been up to scratch. We used to gauge it before we did that. But maybe we never felt so entitled?! I recommend the Espresso Martini!

The staff were very courteous and friendly, especially our server Ishan, a delightful chap who was attentive and friendly with his recommendations throughout our visit. Interior is very pretty, staff are nice but wow the time to be served is ridiculous. We went on Saturday at lunchtime so we expected it to be busy however we waited an hour for our food to arrive and it still didn't. In total we were in the restaurant for 80 mins and we didn't receive any food so we left. I have never given a place a one star review, but I was really disappointed with the service. With a wait time like that, the restaurant shouldn't continue seating more customers or at least give us a heads up on the wait time before seating us. Also you're charged for tap water because it's filtered, which is just unnecessary.

The presentation was also lovely. Alec, who served me, was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole dining experience even better. We had dinner at Megan's on a Monday night, opting for a delicious 3-course meal. The food and drinks were fantastic, but what truly made the evening memorable was the outstanding service from Mattia and Raiu at Old Town . Their attentiveness and the cozy ambiance, complemented by candles, added the perfect touch to an amazing night out.

We had a problem with the Eggs benedict ..hardly any hollandaise or salmon but following a complaint the manager handled it brilliantly.The rest of our food was excellent along with the service..
